Approximately three weeks ago. I purchased the newest product in the Belo Intensive Whitening Line--Belo Intensive Whitening BB Body Cream. I haven't heard of any BB Body Cream before so this might be the very first BB Cream intended for body use among drugstore products, the reason why I was eager to try it in the first place. I'm not sure though so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. :)

This is the only summer I have been into more than one summer destination. I know that sounds not a lot (especially to those who are really travel enthusiasts) so I was really too protective about my skin that I'm scared of getting tanned and sunburned. Because of this, I consider SPF-based products one of my necessities this season. It was just right on time that Sampleroom stocked up on this.

PACKAGING

The product comes in an aerosol spray with a white and orange theme. It is also sealed in a plastic prior to opening. I like that they have printed loads of information on it such as claims, ingredients, expiry dates (printed at the bottom), dosage, caution etc, very nice for someone like me who like reading product information. However, since this comes in an aerosol spray, some products tend to go to waste so I think, if it's possible, it would be more convenient if it comes in a tube or bottles so you could really use everything into your advantage.

SCENT

This product does not have any unusual scent, in fact, it smells powdery fresh like baby products--nothing strong nor off-putting.

TEXTURE / CONSISTENCY / EASE OF APPLICATION

When sprayed onto skin. you will notice that the liquidy formula is tinted like BB creams. This is probably what does the concealing and tone correcting. The product gets absorb easily onto the skin without any sticky feeling so make sure you blend it very well so all areas will be covered. Also, make sure to really shake the bottle well prior to use so the formula would mix well. I tried spraying it with minimal shaking movements and I ended up dispensing transparent liquids only. It was only on my second try did I figure out it was actually tinted.

PERFORMANCE

To be honest, I do not use this everyday so I can't vouch for its whitening ability because I do not wear dress or skirts or anything that will reveal my legs all the time. I neither go to beach every day so I feel like I don't need to apply it for, like, every single day. What's the purpose, right, if I'm wearing pants? Lol. However, I wore it on special occasions like during my graduation, baccalaureate, etc, when I need better-looking arms and legs, to see if I'm getting the same result.

Okay, sorry because I have hairy skin and I don't want to undergo wax treatments since I'm afraid that would hurt big time. But I want to try that service soon lol. Anyway, my camera may probably not doing any justice but I would say that my left leg looks pretty much more polished than my right. If you could look closer though, my left leg looks brighter and healthier than the right and there are less obvious pores. It also looks less dry compared to the right where my skin looks flaky and dry. Despite the whopping SPF 50, this product did not deliver any white cast on skin. Also, I think it would suit any skin tone for you can adjust the shade to match your complexion by the amount you put on (More means whiter and more coverage).

OVERALL THOUGHTS

There is not much to conceal on my skin so I am kind of disappointed not to the product but to the fact that I may not be reaching out for this all the time since there are other alternative lotions in the market which have more acceptable price point and which could help me get almost the same result. Aside from the fact that it has high SPF content and makes skin look more polished, it does nothing exceptional anymore. The application for me was kind of a hassle because you need to shake the product first, dispense on parts lots of time and then you will still have to blend because the droplets would not go directly to where they were supposed to be. The wasted products turns me off too. I would not say it's cost-effective but still worth trying because it's safe and mild to use anytime and anywhere. I just don't see myself spending bucks over something which I find not too useful for me.

While I am waiting for the last episode of Goblin (a Korean drama) to be downloaded, I decided to post another review which is due a long time ago already but given attention only just now. It's not really intentional but it's only today that I decided to take a look at my drafts because I am too lazy to upload new photos pf beauty products to write something about. Yes, I do have a long queue of to-review posts in times like this lol. Anyway, let's get started!

For those who haven't heard of Mischka Derma Secret, it's not a drugstore brand but an organic one that was established on 2012 and is currently growing popularly over the internet, particularly, on Instagram--a social platform which also has been a home for entrepreneurs like Ms. Mich, the owner of the aforementioned shop. To date, they cater to women of all ages through their eco-friendly beauty and makeup products.

Ingredients: Water, Titanium Dioxide, Pyleneglycol, Glycerin, Cetyl alcohol, Talc, Camella Sinesis Leaf Extract, Aloe Barbadensis and Fragrance

I won't comment much on the packaging itself because it's just how organic products are stored nowadays-in pump plastic bottles. This one though is almost the size of a hand sanitizer in a small spray bottle so I can bring it anywhere I want without worrying how much space it would consume in my makeup pouch. If I am not mistaken, this derma cover is available in shades light, fair and tan. I got the one in fair and I thank Ms. Misch for giving me just the right shade.

The product formulation is very similar to foundations and is neither thin nor thick in consistency, so I'm thinking that this actually is formulated to be one. I'm kind of confused whether it's a BB or a tinted cream, a foundation or what because it's not clearly labeled. It's just said to be a derma cover and nothing else follows. If I am to categorize it, I would say it's a BB Cream to Foundation formula because it gives at least a coverage.

The product is mildly scented, something like baby powder, which I like. I prefer using my fingers when applying this and it's not giving me a hard time as it's easy to blend with a seamless powdery finish. However, I find that if I layer it over sunscreens or creamy moisturizers, it tends to cling on the folds of my skin and creates a patchy look so I advice that if you are to use it, use it alone or under gel-type moisturizers and serums only. You don't have to worry though because it has a whopping SPF30 which gives skin enough protection under the sun. The best thing about it is its lightweight formulation and sheer coverage which looks nice for a natural makeup look.

I don't know if I described it properly but surprisingly, I find myself a lot of times reaching for this product during hot days because it does not feel tacky and irritating when worn even after hours. However, it sucks on the longevity department. It already wears off my skin for more or less two hours. Liquid products are not something I would reapply (unless I wash my face), so to prolong the product itself, set it with a good setting powder.

Overall, I like Mischka Derma Secret Derma Cover SPF30. I highly recommend it to whatever skin type you have. Right now, I don't care if a product is effective or not as long as it won't break me out and I am happy to tell you that this product did nothing to trigger any adverse reaction, much less breakouts. A little of this would go a long way too (I use half a pea-size for the whole face and neck), still, it looks a little expensive for its size but it's worth the price.

I have always been wanting to get my hands on Mischka Derma Secret Products and be able to review them. Good news happened and I was left starstruck with all these goodies on a basket. My, Ms. Mich sent these over! Thank you so much! Indeed, one of the most generous sponsors I had!

The first product that she sent me is this Tomato Lightening Detox Glow which is intended for scrubbing away dead skin cells on the skin. I think the scrubs are made of sugar or salt and tiny poppy seeds which does a good job in exfoliating and softening my skin. And it smells so nice too! You can't really ask me as I am that bad in describing. Huhu.

The Seaweed Peel Off Slimming Mask comes in a tube which dispense products effortlessly. When applied, it imparts some minty feel on skin which is painful at first then turns so refreshing once it dries. I have nothing against its scent too. The peeling is the most crucial part as you have to carefully peel the dried layer or it would tear apart. Hahah! I love peeling (masks)!

The Derma Cover in Fair comes in a small pump bottle that is indeed travel-friendly. A little would go a long way already. Don't put too much or you will end up looking a face full of white cast. Therefore, be careful how much you apply on. Scent wise, I love it! It also gives skin a radiant glow with a light coverage and unnoticeable cakiness!

I have not used the Oatmeal Goat's Milk and Honey Soap yet but it smells so creamy and yummy!  Can't wait to use it on bathtime!

The Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel is perfect for travel purposes. Not to mention how I can't go on a day without antibacterial products! This hand gel does not reek of alcohol, instead it smells fine. Not to mention how affordable it is!

My most favorite among all the products are the Collagen With Enrich Lift Action intended to make skin look younger and healthier. I decided to use anti-aging products because I am turning 20! It has micro-shimmers on it which makes skin looks so radiant and glowing. It smells nice too, for your information! It dries seconds after application and leaves a refreshing feel without stickiness.

The product comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a pump dispenser making the product easy to dispense on a preferable amount. However, I find it a little bulky to fit pouches (unless you really have big makeup pouches). Packaging wise, all the needed information are displayed on the sticker attached to the bottle--manufacturing and expiry dates, ingredients, detailed information, even some proof of authenticity.

If I am not mistaken, Leiania House of Beauty only have one shade for their BB + CC Creme which, I can tell even with my beginner eyes, is a match for fair-skinned gals. This made me sorry for medium and tan-skinned beauties. I was first a bit hesitant myself upon trying it out because I was pretty sure it would not look good on me, that I might look like a clown afterwars. People labeled me out in fair but with a yellow undertone so this BB + CC Creme still could be out of tune. BUT I WAS WRONG.

As you can see, the product is a tad lighter than my usual skin tone, so, at first, I thought it would just create a pretty awkward white cast on my face but the formula is so easy to blend and adjust to every skin tone pretty quickly. It's texture's just like a moisturizer and isn't too runny nor too thick. My pores absorbs it quickly without leaving some sheen on the face so you can picture how my oily skin is starting to love this product. It dries to a somehow matte finish, by the way and is VERY lightweight on my skin.

That being said, it hardly conceals blemishes, reddened pimple and acne scars, pores, etc which might not be a problem for others but a problem for me as whenever I apply it, I know I still need the magic of a concealer. On a lighter note, I kinda prefer BB creams that yield a natural-looking skin and even skin tone and would not give me a look like a have layers of coverage. This is the perfect fit so I guess, this product is still a great one.

See how natural-looking it is! Just make sure to blend it well while it is still there as it may be hard to blend when already dried. 

I like that it gives me a more brightened and glowing skin without the risks of having harmful chemicals like parabens as it's all formulated with all natural and organic ingredients that would protect skin from harmful substances! Also, it smells nice with a vanilla kind of scent!

What I like:

• Does not cause me to breakout
• Non-greasy
• Smells nice
• Organic and natural
• Has SPF 30
• Moisturizes
• Brightens
• Even out skin tone
• Affordable at P410
• Lasts for hours

What I don't like:

• Light coverage
• Does not really control sebum production for long

Looking for the best BB cream there is in the market? Look no further. The best is named, the best is here! And it's no other than...Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream! I know you might not believe me, but try reading other blogger's reviews and they will tell you what's with Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream that it is claimed to be the best BB Cream in the world!

Believe me, I did not believe in all these claims either until I was contacted by Althea, inviting me to be one of their beta testers. By the way, Althea is finally now here in the country! Head over to ph.althea.kr and get authentic korean branded products for a much cheaper price! So yeah, I agreed, of course, and included Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in my haul. I know there's tons of good reviews already available in the internet but well, I just want to share my experience with it too!

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream, 50 ml

That's just what I am talking about! You can get authentic korean products at Althea! Prices are dirt cheaper by at least 70%! What are you waiting for?! Go grab your favorite products straight from Korea!

First off, the packaging is very nice. Very high-end looking indeed. It comes with a metallic box with enough information on it already. The product, however, is caged in this squeezable tube with a pump dispenser and a tight cover so you can easily control the amount of product in which you want to use. Very hygienic and travel-friendly, it is.

It has lots of ingredients on it, including parabens which some might find a turn-off. Its but okay with me as though it's something I would not consider using like, for the rest of my life. And I expected it already as it did not claim to be made, of course, of all-natural and all-organic ingredients.

Being a korean brand product, I did have lots of expectations about it plus the comments of other people who said that Missha is really a good BB cream, in fact, the best BB Cream for them. I guess, Missha did not, in anyway, disappoint me.

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream claims to offer a novel skin care concept with BB Cream, which lighten skin tone by healing visible wrinkles and blemishes with excellent skin-cover ability and prevents skin-aging through effective whitening and anti-wrinkle properties.

It also makes your skin tone clean and natural by concealing blemishes with excellent skin coverage. It is a multi-functional makeup cream with blocking UV rays, whitening and wrinkle care effects and simplifies makeup formalities. Its moisturized application with W/S texture makes sleek skin tone while supplying moisture and nutrition at the same time.

It has SPF 42 PA+++ which has a broad spectrum sun protection so you need not to worry getting tanned after sun exposure. Yet, you are still advised not to stay TOO LONG under the sun even while using sunscreen. With all its tested claims, maybe it really deserves to be a little heavy on the pocket.

Unlike other typical BB Creams, this one smells nice without a hint of foul-smelling chemicals. By the way, the shade that I got is the No. 21 in Light Beige. There's two shade available online: No. 21 and No. 23. I did not choose the latter as it seems to be a little darker for my skin tone. I do hope there's a shade in between as No.21 is a teeny tiny light for my skin tone still. But it's just fine, as this easily adjust to a skin tone with its neutral undertone.

One pump is more than sufficient. The formula isn't too runny nor liquidy, you can easily blend it on the surface of your skin. However, it dries fast so you make sure to easily distribute it along the corners and creases of your face to avoid uneven skin tone. It also dries in a semi-matte finish and is very lightweight on the skin, you need not to worry whether you have super oily skin like me as it does not feel anything greasy on the skin. And because of that, I bet it's perfect for any skin type!

Application is really easy with Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream! However, you can use brush, sponge or even fingertips but I really don't recommend sponge or brush with this BB Cream as its best applied with fingertips (at least for me). Just dab product on your forehead, cheeks, chin and nose area then blend it well. You can use the other product to build coverage on problem areas. During cold days, with my oily skin, I am actually not in need of a setting powder but prefer to use one on hot ones for a matte finish.

Now I know why it's a great BB Cream! One coat is actually enough to hide lightest pimple marks on the face yet concealer is still needed. I'd say it just offers light to medium coverage, enough to conceal redness and minor blemishes but not reddened scars. It's almost similar to foundations in terms of coverage. It does not trigger severe oil production too! Now, my face is fresher looking even after hours of commuting to school. In fact, I think retouch is not anymore needed when you use this BB Cream if you want to achieve that dewy Korean skin.

Review: Sooper Beaute Tinte BB Cream

Hi, guys!

If you can tell, this is my first time reviewing something that's not about skin care products. Although this BB Cream concerns about achieving a healthier skin, I consider it more in line with cosmetics. Be informed that I am still new to these things (foundation, bb creams, etc) but anyways, I will share my thoughts about it in the best and most honest post possible.

Also, I know that Sooper Beaute is one of the locally-owned brand that commit to organic and naturally made products, I can tell that they have lots of loyal buyers. Or should I say, hoarders? But when I searched for some reviews online, you're lucky to find more than two reviews for each product.

That's why I wanted to help! So for my review today, I'll be featuring this Tinte BB Creamin Fair  by Sooper Beaute!

Sooper Beaute Tinte BB Cream in Fair (PHP250)(PHP75)

Since I bought this on sale (and if you don't know), I got it with a discount of PHP170 in their SM Manila kiosk.

"Packed with all-natural skin nourishing and brightening ingredients with benefits for your precious skin. It's an alternative to your heavy foundations. Made with watermelon extract to totally hydrate and keep your skin younger looking. Mousse-like cream that fills in pores and hides skin imperfections. Use it as a primer before your foundation or use it alone for a fresh look."

Good thing, there isn't even one paraben on it. Also, it has watermelon extract and SPF20! Ha! It will protect you from the harsh rays and sweltering weather. The only thing I wished that was not included in the ingredient list is the Dimethicone. According to articles I have read about it, they are comedogenic or can clog pores. For an acne-prone skin like mine, I tend to ignore products with dimethicone on it as it threats to cause me to breakout drastically. So far, so good. This product does not clog my pores on my first week of use.

I find the packaging cute with expiration date on it so you'll know when it's time to let go. However, just like their other cream packaging, the 10g content is too small in amount to be caged in a bigger tub. Also, as it comes in a tub, then I have to dip my icky finger every now and then making the packaging unhygienic. Had it be on a squeeze-type tube, then it would be better.

Sooper Tinte BB Cream is available in two shades: Fair and Medium. According to Ate Geraldine (the one who assist me), they are best for my skin tone. Yeah, I may look fair to other people but I find this a little lighter for my skin tone. Thank goodness, I have Sooper Beaute Tinte Pore Reducer Cream Foundation in Beige to work with this one. In that way, the BB Cream could adjust to my skin tone.

Coverage wise, this does not offer full coverage on areas that needs more concealment. Maybe this is due to it being a BB Cream only, making face fresh-looking like that of a Koreana. Concealer will do all the hiding though. However, this BB Cream I know is working hard to reduce the sight of pores.

What I like most about is is the velvety finish it gives of on my skin. I find the formula quite easy to apply with the fingers. I have used only three BB Cream brands before and I tell you, this is the easiest BB Cream to apply. I still use sponges to blend before since BB Creams tend to create this sharp edges on my skin and tend to be not so buildable after all. With this Tinte BB Cream, I have no problem with the application.

Longevity is another drawback. The product could stay for at least maybe six to eight hours if I don't sweat but knowing that I am living in a tropical country where I perspire even in the most unthinkable parts of my face, the formula could oxidize in two hours time. So to prolong its life on my face (lol), I just dab on some powder to freshen up.

As it reminds me of mousse foundations, I find it very lightweight on my skin as if I didn't have anything on it. Although after minutes, my face still gets oily. But unlike my previous BB Cream, this does not make my pores cry. It's best to use this when I find my oil production playing hard to get.

And yeah, this is a good primer for me. I apply this before their Cream Foundation. I actually received a compliment earlier that my face looks fresh! This one friend of mine actually said, "Oh, si Hanna fresh na naman ang aura." So maybe, this just really is a good BB Cream add the fact that it's made of natural and organic ingredients!
