Skin9dan Black Pack Cleanser

I never knew Black Pack Cleanser exists until Althea invited me to be one of their beta testers. So here's my thoughts about this amazing product. Hoho, you have guessed it already huh? Yeah, amazing is the key word. And oh, by the way, I should never forget to tell you that it's for lazy people! Curious? ;)

Black Pack Cleanser 100ml
Bought for: Free (P560/P1200 is the original price)
From: Althea Philippines

When you encounter products from Korean brands, it's not all about the effectiveness of that product that will nab your attention, it's about how posh and trendy their packaging looks too. This Black Pack Cleanser is caged in a sturdy kind of sachet, not prone to scrapes and is sort of water resistant. You know what I mean when you soak a sachet on water and  the shiny parts would get separated revealing the transparent plastic inside with the formula? Okay, I explain too much. Lol. Anyway, it will not be the case here.

I should not bother taking photos of what's in the back but...here it is. I don't understand a single thing! Do you? One thing's for sure...it's a pack and a cleanser in one! But I mainly use it as a makeup remover since washing the face is not enough to get rid of all your makeup residue.

Anyway, Black Pack Cleanser claims to prevent and heal enlarged pores, blackhead stuffed in pores, dry skin, flakes, darkened skin, too much oil and harmful residue of makeup and provides clear, flawless skin with a PH of 6.0 that minimizes irritation with Bamboo Charcoal that works as a mild scrub and Oil Paper like Volcanic Ash which removes oil that comes out of enlarged pores due to UV rays in sunlight.

Okay, this is my first time learning that UV rays can enlarge pores.

Key Ingredients:
  • Acai Berry - famous for its antioxidant effect and aging prevention
  • Black Berry - rich in vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidant
  • Black Bean - rich in protein and unsaturated fat which is good for blood circulation
  • Black Rice - rich in protein, niacin, retinol, vitamins
  • Black Pearl - Niacin amide and Adenosine of Black Pearl brightens up darkened skin
  • Shea Butter - queen of moisturizer; deeply hydrates the skin

I slab a dime-size amount on my face EVERY night after using Leiania House of Beauty Age Defy Kiwi Fruit Facial Wash although it is instructed to apply with make up on. I just don't know, I feel like my face will be cleaner that way especially after it being exposed all day to dirt and pollution, not to mention, I am a daily commuter and I travel for 3 hours (home to school and vice versa).

Anyway, if you want to follow direction, you have to:
  • Squeeze adequate amount of product on face.
  • Apply it thick on face.
  • Leave it for 1-3 minutes. If you are busy to do this, skip this step.
  • Gently massage the face with a little bit of water on hand. Wash it off after the pack turned into foam.
I tend to always skip the third step since I am always in a hurry and I don't get enough time to let the product stay on my face for a while. This is me being lazy. And back to what I was telling you earlier, this product is for lazy people since you can use this only for at least a few seconds or a minute without compromising its effectiveness and uses. This is a perfect buddy for people who hates to use mask that needs to be removed only once it has dried. So...you save time!

Since it is a Black Pack Cleanser, the product also comes in a black color with a creamy mallow-y kind of softness that melts down dirt and sebum. Seriously, applying this is like slathering on some melted mallows on my skin which makes bathing extra fun! The scent is neutral, not really nice but not too off-putting as well. It foams slightly when massaged so you guarantee a thoroughly cleansed face afterwards.

What I love about this is after I pat my face dry, I can feel that my skin is squeaky clean. I still apply toner but there's minimal amount of makeup that's being caught by the cotton balls so toner isn't anymore necessary. Another thing is that it can keep oil at bay! After using this, my face is shine-free for hours (without anything on). I don't know if this is the one that keeps me acne-free but yeah, it's compatible with my current skin care products! Another plus!

However, it pretty much stings on my skin especially on the part where I have fresh and freshly squeezed pimples (lol). And using the product can be drying on the skin so make sure to use moisturizer afterwards.  I can tell this despite my oily skin because I experience some 'tightening' of my skin. This is not really a problem to me as I seldom get dry skin. Sometimes, having an oily skin has its advantage huh.

What I love:
  • Cute packaging
  • Deep cleanses pores thoroughly
  • Prevents acne
  • Prevents severe sebum production
  • Both a pack and a cleanser
  • No pungent scent
  • Brightens dull skin
  • Evens out skin tone

What I don't love:
  • Pricey
  • Can be drying
  • Stings on wounds

Over all, I love Black Pack Cleanser so much! It's pricey, yes, but it's a really good product! Avail it only on Althea and get 60% off the original price! Happy blogging!

Hanna

Beauty Pitch Milky Body Scrub

Here's a review on Beauty Pitch Milky Body Scrub.

Beauty Pitch Milky Body Scrub, 100g
Bought for: Free (P180)

This is one of the giveaway prizes I have received from Beauty Pitch when they conducted a contest through their IG account and I was chosen to be one of the winners. Thank you so much for letting me try this!

By the way, Beauty Pitch is one of the sellers in Instagram that produces skin care and cosmetic products with only organic and natural ingredients to make sure that what a buyer puts in her skin is nutrients-infused and is harmless.

See, I am an avid user of body scrubs and it has already become my go-to stress reliever after a humdrum day loaded with tedious works. I cannot go for a spa or massage daily so I resort to it instead to relax my tired and dull skin.

Caution: It's not really edible so keep your mouth shut, it's salty. ;)

This scrub smells heaven, at least for me though it has a pungent scent. Because milk and fruits are the top scents that provide me such kilig moments. Yup! For your reference, it smells just like this kind of milk, the one you put at the top of your..uhm..whatcha call it??? Wait, I am talking about that flavored crushed ice that would not be complete without the powdered milk on top! Ugh!!! That's my favorite but I just can't remember the name!!! Anyway, this scrub smells like that!

I even compared it to A'bonne Spa Milk Salt and this one wins over the latter! It's more yellowish in shade, smells better, produces a creamier texture when slabbed on the body, yet I find the salt more abrasive which is just neutral for me. I mean, I would not hate it just because it has thicker granules, right?

The A'bonne Spa Milk Salt smells so good and does well in sloughing of dead skin cells (that's why it's a top raved) but I did not ever think that a better milk scrub even exists.

I love how it makes my skin bright, soft and smooth every wash. It's not cream-based but it leaves my skin polished and moisturized without over-drying it. Did I say it's abrasive? Oh yeah, scrubs that are not cream-based are abrasive for my skin so I make sure to only use sufficient amount of this scrub, not too much as they easily irritate my skin.

Just a little precaution, avoid using this on open wounds as it could sting...like hell! I tried to apply it on my face (loaded with pimples) but I wasn't able to stand the pain for long so I had to rinse it off, not waiting for everything to melt. That's because it has dead sea salt.

Overall, this is a really good product. It retails for only P180 so...not bad for girls on a budget huh! I might repurchase only upon figuring out that this might be the best milk scrub in the market. Happy blogging!

Hanna

Updated Skin Care Routine + Product Review: Leiania House of Beauty Primea Beauty Kit

I think I am probably stuck up on a current skin care routine. Hmm. Though it may sound a little weird (believe me, I never thought I'd use them on my teenage years), but I tell you, I am currently using age defying products. I am just 19 years old with a severe case of pimple and acne marks who love me so much that they do not ever want to go away. Like ever. I want a dermatologist to take care of everything, but my meager student budget won't let me. Now, I'm depending on my future salary. Lol.

While I do not expect these products to work for me, I started to notice the big difference on my face. And who would have thought that I will be at this point when I'm already counting on them to keep my skin moisturized and hydrated! Well, they are probably the best skin care set ever.

Bought for: Free (Price indicated below)
Age Defy Kiwi Fruity Facial Wash 100ml (P285)
Age Defy Tamarind & Kiwi Fruit Toner 100ml (P245)
Vitamin C & E Collagen Serum Concentrate 30ml (P275)

The Primea Beauty Kit consists of the facial wash, toner and serum--all packed in nice bottles especially the facial wash. They might not be sold for the cheapest prices but you can guarantee its effectiveness and quality. Each are made with 100% natural and active organic ingredients.

Age Defy Kiwi Fruity Facial Wash is non-drying, mild facial wash which significantly improve skin elasticity, hydration and smoothness. A gentle facial cleanser with skin exfoliation benefits from natural AHA found in Kiwi fruit and soothing properties in fresh aloe vera extract. Olive leaf extracts has strong free radical scavenging capacity with its most active flavonoids (rutin, catechin and luteolin) these has antioxidants effects that is almost 2.5 times higher than those of vitamins C and E. It is purifying, antiseptic, has anti-inflammatory activities with great anti-aging benefits.

I wanted to take photos on the description and ingredients but it's so small I can't capture it so...I'll just type it out here for everyone's reference.

Ingredients: Aqua, *Kiwi Fruit Extract, Aqua and Lauroyl Sarcosinate, SulfoAcetate, Lauryl Glucoside, Methylsulfonyl Methane, PEG 150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, *Olive Leaf Extracts, Vegetable Glycerin, Sodium Lactate, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid, Panthenol, Geranium, *Fresh Rosemary, Sandalwod Essential Oils. *Organic Ingredients

This is probably my most favorite out of the three. This does not lather like hell but you can still feel that your skin is well-cleansed once dried and won't leave your skin parched. It smells fruity which I did hate at first, but I got used to it eventually. It's actually gentle with a PH of 5.5-6.0 which is effective in preventing and treating dry skin.

I use this facial wash every morning and night and I just love how brightened, moisturized and hydrated my face always becomes. It has the power to make my face soft and smooth as it can get and has added properties to even out skin tone and is perfect for acne/problem skin.

Age Defy Tamarind and Kiwi Fruit Toner significantly improves skin elasticity, hydration and smoothness. This fruit and botanical rich face toner contains powerful hydrating, smoothing, moisturizing and anti-aging actives from Kiwi Fruit Extracts And Tamarind Seed Extract which contains high levels of AHA and Vitamin C with Tamarind Extracts found to outperform Hyaluronic Acid in skin moisturization and the smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles, which is a great benefit in skin care.

Ingredients: Aqua, *Rosa Damascena Flower Distillate, Witch Hazel Extracts, Fresh Cucumber Extract, Fresh Tamarind Extract, *Kiwi Fruit Distillate, Caprylic, Capric Glucoside Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Olive Exters, Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid, Grapefruit Essential Oil. *Organic Ingredients

So I am using this one every after wash. I love how moisturizing this toner is without the drying properties of alcohol. I don't like the scent at first but just like the facial wash, I eventually got used to it. However, it's very moisturizing that my face oils up pretty fast. It is but alright as I could apply face powders after (during the day) or just let it stay like that overnight. After all, no one would be seeing me and say "Hey, your face resembles an oil slick already!"

Upon application, I notice that it slightly bubbles on my face but fades after seconds. Is it how it cleanses my pores? I sometimes think I need not to use any facial wash prior to toning my face because it really does a great job in keeping my pores unclog.

For: Normal, Oily, Combination, Acne-Prone, Dry, Mature Skin.

Vitamin C and E Collagen Serum Concentrate is a rapidly absorbes serum concentrate packed with many anti-oxidants, Vitamin E rich, high amount of natural Vitamin C boost for collagen sythesis and production., zinc minerals and Vitamin D for a healthy skin glow! Green Tea Extracts combined with Rooibos, hypoallergenic and antibacterial properties, is rich with the enzyme superoxide dismutase (an excellent anti-aging substance a powerful anti-oxidant. Superoxide dismutase  is necessary for the  production of  healthy skin-producing cells, fights wrinkles by neutralizing the free radicals  that cause them, a wonderful skin nutrient to slow the skin's aging process.

Natural Ingredients: *Rooibus and *Green Tea Distillates, *Fresh Aloe Vera Extracts, *Peppermint Distillate, *Orange Peel Distillates, Vitamin C L-Ascorbic Acid, Sodium Lactate, Vitamin E Natural Tocopherol, Sorbitol, Vegetable Glycerine, Sodium Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol. *Organic Ingredients

Being a serum, it's very lightweight on the skin yet sticky upon application which subsides after a minute. Also, a little goes a long way so 30ml would probably last me for two-three months. Again, I find the smell a little off-putting but that's just one of my concerns. Another one is that the product is actually leaking out of the nozzle so you better store it upright. Additionally, it's not really moisturizing on dry skin (unless when really paired up with the toner).

On the brighter side, this serum works really great in keeping my oil at bay. There are times when I feel like I want my face to rest from everything and I just use a facial wash and this one and when I wake up, my face is not that oily compared on usual days. You can also feel your skin's suppleness and you will really look glowing and all brightened up because of this serum!

****
I would not change my mind. Never. This is still the best skin care set (in the organic world) that I have tried after I went back to what I love and hate about these products through this review. Not only they compliment each other but my skin type too (which is very oily, pimple-prone and has large pores). Continuous use helped me alleviate the redness around my nose and cheek area. It also lighten up some of my minor pimple scars! I bet you can never tell how much I love this set as the facial wash is already half-emptied. Lol! I really recommend it to any skin type and to all ages. Experience its wonders now and see for yourself why I love Primea Beauty kit!

Happy blogging!

Review | Maybelline Fashion Brow in Dark Brown

Well-groomed and shaped brows frames our face, enhance our features and completes our look, no? If you really don't think so, just look at someone who can't leave the house without 'coloring' their brows. Ask Lindemere! LOL. She's not reading my blog so it's okay to mention her here. I don't even think she'll mind though. Hahah!

Anyway, I don't really groom my brows often, don't shape my brows either because I'm afraid I fail to achieve the perfect looking brows for my round face. Believe me, I am new to this. This Maybelline Fashion Brow palette is actually the very first eyebrow palette I own my entire life. So...I don't have much experience about it, so I tell you Lindemere's story instead.

Lindemere is my friend and she does not leave the house without her eyebrows looking on fleek. Why? Because she feels naked. How could an unshaped brows make us look and feel so naked? I don't get it. Do you? Well, some people can leave the house without, say, foundation or lipstick, but not with unshaped brows. How did that happen!? Anyway, just read further if you want to know why my perspectives on eyebrows on fleek changed abruptly!

Maybelline Fashion Brow in Dark Brown 3.0g
Bought for: P250 (on sale)
Bought from: Beautymnl

You can see that it's housed in a very travel-friendly palette with three pans inside, colors are from the darkest to the lightest shade. The first one on the left side is the color that you can use in shaping and framing your eyebrows, the middle is for filling in and contouring your nose area and lastly, the first on on the right is for highlighting and sculpting. Basically, it's a palette all for your eyebrows and nose needs. You can also use the two pans as eye shadows, this is just my opinion though. That's how I look at it. Very handy and useful, indeed.

So...for your information, here's the list of ingredients. I thought I should list them down here for those makeup enthusiasts who are very particular with what they are putting on their face (like me)! Okay, I'm guilty.

Ingredients (for eyebrows): Ricinus Communis Oil/ Castor Seed Oil, Candelilla Cera/ Candelilla Wax, Talc, Octyldodecanol, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, VP/Hexadecene Copolymer, Cera Alba/ Beeswax, Nylon-12, Stearyl Stearate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Paraffin, BHT, Stearic Acid, Behenic Acid, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Synthetic Flourphlogopite

Ingredients (for nose): Talc, Zea Mays Starch/ Corn Starch, Zinc Stearate, Dimethicone, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Isopropyl Isostearate, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Zeolite, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbic Acid, Tocophery Acetate, Hexylene Glycol, Panthenol

The product comes with a duo brush, the one side is like an angled brush with a triangular tip while the other one is like...I don't know...is it a blending brush? It's a good thing there's this built-in brush at least I don't need to rummage through my sets for shaping and contouring, plus I get to save time and space in my make up pouch, right? Though the brush constitutes to the product being 'serviceable', I find them too small for my small hands. So...I really find them not so functional so I'd still opt for bigger brushes. Also, I think I wanted them to be stiffer because they are too soft for my liking, I could not get all the pigments that I want in just a few swipes on the pans.

The formula in the first pan is a thousand folds different from the other two. While the fill and sculpting powder is dry, the eyebrow shade is waxy, therefore, it glides well on the eyebrows without too much effort. The fill powder (middle) can also be use as a setting powder to the eyebrows to make it last longer and to fill in bald spots without the oiliness.

For your own expectations, I cannot say it really last long on the eyebrows and is smudge-proof. But since I have very oily skin, the product would typically last me up to 5 hours only without retouching. And it's smudge-proof given that you don't smear it on purpose and on dry skin.

Anyway, here's a quick selfie of me wearing Maybelline Fashion Brow in Dark Brown. What I did is frame my eyebrows using the wax powder (first), fill the gap in with the fill powder (middle), and highlight my brow bone with the sculpting powder (last). I actually use Natura Organics Wink Brow Dressing for added color before I set it with the fill powder. Then for my nose, I applied the fill powder (middle) by creating a line on each side, blend it using the blur/blending brush and apply the sculpting powder on the middle then blend, blend, blend.

I know it looks still a bit sharp and imperfections are everywhere, but I am working on it! :)))

Overall, this is a good product for its price. I recommend it to those girl on a beauty budget who's looking for affordable yet high quality makeup that won't surely break their bank.

Tried it? Love it? Abhor it? Share it here with me! Happy blogging!

Review | Beauty Pitch Tinted Lip Balm in Snow White's Kiss

Here's a review on Beauty Pitch Lip Balm in Snow White's Kiss, one of the prizes I received from Beauty Pitch PH's Instagram giveaway. Wait, I think I have already heard of a shade in Snow White's Kiss before! Okay, I couldn't really make out the brand but I think it's pinkish red in color. Anyhow, let's proceed!

Bought for: Free (P180)
From: Beauty Pitch

When I figured out I am going to receive another lip balm, one of the beauty basics I am currently obsessing with right now, I couldn't think of anything else I'd love even more from the package. Well, it's housed in a simply designed lip balm stick, so easy to retract and the cover shuts tight with a click.

The product smells nice at least for me, smells like raspberry I think? And is in a beautiful shade of deep red. Who would resist this shade? Well, not me! It reminds me of timeless women look which would be perfect to use even on a daily basis.

It has a very moisturizing consistency, thus, leaves a very glossy finish which I really don't like. So what I usually do is get some tissue paper, dab it on my lips to remove excess shine and it would already stay for a long period of time without retouch (at least four hours) and would turn into a more natural look for the succeeding hours! The formula blends well on the lips too and but I find the color a little sheer on first application so another coat might be needed if you want to sport bolder kissers.  The swatch below took two coats to achieve that color. If you want a fuller red, I'd suggest you use lipsticks though.

If you have dull, dry and chapped lips, then it will be a good alternative to drying lipsticks. It retails for only P180 so it's not much pain on the ass. Haha!

Anyway, here's my awkward smile wearing the lip balm! It took me several coats to achieve that coverage but at least it's buildable, isn't it? It almost look like heavily applied lippie!

And here's what it looks like upon removing the excess color and shine! See how natural my pinkish lips look! Just please excuse my damaged, dry, chapped lips, my mustache, my pores, my obvious pimple scars and everything that's pretty awkward in there huhuh! I wear nothing but my lip balm. Beauty Pitch is just in time sending this stick to me as I badly need something to repair the skin on my lips! Thanks so much, Beauty Pitch!

And oh by the way, it's in shade Snow White's Kiss, sort of like gorgeous cherry-bitten in shade except it does not look anything like Snow White's lips.

Anyway, you can get yours only by ordering online at Beauty Pitch PH, again, for only P180! Happy blogging!

Hanna

First Impression: Natura Organics + Makeups

So I received a package this week and it's from Natura Organics, once again, one of the most famous IG shops known to be a manufacturer of organic-infused makeups and skin care products. What an incredible luck for me to be able to be given the opportunity to try some of their bestsellers!

Bought for: Free

It's my second time receiving make up products from a brand and it's almost a complete set with basic essentials to start working on a canvas with beginner skills, the one I have. They are made with organic ingredients too so I don't need to worry whether they could cause side effects on my face or if they can trigger some allergic reactions. Maybe they will, but I am not afraid to try though. Hihi!

Healthy Skin Foundation SPF 60+++
Price: to be updated

Now, this foundation is in the shade Rose which has a strong peachy pink undertone which, I definitely think as not really suitable for a fair skinned gal like me with yellow undertone. However, its high sun protection of 60+++ is quite irresistible as it is my first time encountering a cream foundation that could protect me for hours even under the sun! Lol. Scent is neutral, thank heavens it does not smell like typical drugstore foundations. It has micro shimmers on it too, so if you hate things like that, then, it's not really for you. I haven't tried it on my face yet, just swatched it at the back of my hands, but I say it dries to a matte finish and is lightweight.

Wink Brow Dressing in Raven, 12g
Price: 299

I rarely do my eyebrows just because I do not even know how to trim or shape it naturally. And every time I try so, I just end up looking like a witch in thick eyebrows. So...can somebody teach me how? Even my friends who knew how to shape their brows cannot do anything about my untamed hairs. What do I do now??? Anyways, I'm still trying to have a well-groomed eyebrows, been watching a lot of tutorials lately. I sometimes can shape other people's eyebrows but not mine. How did that even happen!?

Anyway, Natura Organics sent me one of their brow dressing in Raven--the darkest shade in their collection. It's actually a good thing since it's the shade that's nearest to my hair color. And I actually love it! The only thing I don't like is the formula. It has an oily finish which isn't really a match to my oily skin, tendency is, it will just oxidize in a matter of two hours. And it can easily be wiped away.

Dazzling Organic Highlighter in Maria
Price: P399

The packaging is uber cute in a container with a gem-like cover. It's shaded in baby pink with micro shimmers on it. I haven't tried it yet and it will be the first time I am going to try to highlight parts of my face and to be honest, I am sooo excited! It also has SPF15 and I think it pretty well does great job in 'faking' light and bring it to the skin. It blends nicely and leaves a fresh sheer finish.

Soft Matte Lip Gem in Juicy Orange
Price: P699

I am starting to get addicted to lipsticks so I was really happy to receive one from Natura Organics. To be honest, I hate orange but if it's bright and it could lighten up my mood, then I would consider it an exemption even if I find it not really wearable for every day use. This soft matte lip gem is highly moisturizing and pigmented, you won't need a lot of swipes to get an opaque color. However, it has a high glossy finish which I don't really like but matte isn't really perfect for my dry and chapped lips so I guess, this one will do. It's housed in a high-end looking packaging so...I give it an 8/10!

Thank you so much Natura Organics for these babies! Watch out as I will be using it for my future reviews and look! Happy blogging!

Love,
Hanna

First Impression: Beauty Pitch + Skin Care Products

Two weeks ago, I have received my giveaway prize from Beauty Pitch, one of the IG shops accustomed to producing potent products that are made from natural ingredients. By saying so, I did not even think twice whether to join their giveaway or not as I have nothing to lose but much to gain if I win as there are tons of skin care products at stake. I believe they pick winners randomly and with my luck, I was chosen as one of the victors lol.

Beauty Pitch specializes both on basic cosmetic must-haves and skin care products such as artisan soaps and scrubs, products that I am currently most interested in. So initially, I got hooked up, shamelessly stalked their profile and that was actually the reason why I find out about the giveaway, Hoho!

Anyway, being a manufacturer of organic products made them on top of my preferred skin care brands on Instagram--for me, a growing platform for IG bloggers and sellers to interact with. Kudos, Beauty Pitch! And let's not set aside the fact that they are a local brand. What a talent, indeed.

Enough talk, I'm gonna show you my prizes! OMG!

Honey Oatmeal Soap (P180)
Noni + Green Tea + Mint (P180)
Organic Cures (P180)
Pink Himalayan Salt + Milk (P180)
Pore Care Soap (P180)
  • Honey Oatmeal Soap claims to exfoliate dead skin, remove impurities, soothe skin allergies, smoothen and moisturize the skin.
  • Noni + Green Tea + Mint Soap claims to be an anti-aging , anti-pimple and has properties to relax, soothe and cleanse the skin with Noni Plant Extracts, Green Tea, Natural Rosemary Mint, Essential Oil and Vitamin E.
  • Organic Cures Soap claims to prevent acne, bacteria, reduce redness and inflammation and cleanse deep with added Kaolin Clay.
  • Pink Himalayan Salt + Milk Soap claims to detoxify, revitalize skin, exfoliate, and aids in skin allergies with its active ingredients: Pink Himalayan Salt, Organic Goat's Milk, Shea Butter, Secret Essential Oil, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera Extract.
  • Pore Care Soap claims to tighten pores, prevent skin aging, clear skin blemishes and regenerate the skin.
There's actually one more soap--the Snow Soap-- but it's not included in the giveaway prize. Anyway, there are six organic variants which target specific skin need and all smells great especially the Pore Care Soap and the Noni + Green Tea + Mint Soap. I guess my favorite will be the Pore Care and the Organic Cures Soaps because I am pimple-prone and has oily skin and large pores.

I am really looking forward to try everything the soonest but I still have tons to review yet.

Milky Body Scrub 100g (P180)

The Milky Body Scrub claims to scrub off dead skin cells, gives skin smoother and softer finish, whitens skin with frequent use, treat skin rashes, itchiness and skin irritations with Organic Goat's Milk, Dead Sea Salt and Oats.

I have used this once and I love how it leaves my skin softer and smoother with its yummy fragrance! Unlike other milk scrubs (without cream base) that I have used, this one is gentler.

Pure Unrefined Shea Butter (P250)

It is advisable to use for those who have multitude skin problems and can be use as a moisturizer and topical cream for wrinkles, skin asthma, eczema, diaper rash, acne, psoriasis, etc with only the raw, pure and unrefined shea butter.

I mostly use this to tame my eyebrows since I find it a little bit thick for face use and I also use this to moisturize my dry palms and feet. Anyway, credits to Ms. Juls (shopperhoarder) for the trick! I've learned from her about this secret use of Shea Butter for eyebrows!

Tinted Lip Balm in Snow White's Kiss (P170)
Red-Orange Flush (P180)

I actually love both the lip balm and the tint as they are both long-wearing! However, the only thing I find off-putting about the lip balm is its glossy finish. So what I usually do is apply then dab some tissue paper on my lips and it would already give me a natural-looking pinkish lips without the dryness.

The best thing about the Red-Orange Flush is that it's super pigmented. A little goes a long way. However, the packaging is a little uh-uh.

Anyway, that's all for today! See you in my more detailed blog reviews of each of the featured products here! Happy blogging.

Love,
Hanna

Review | Eden's Paradise Lip and Cheek Balms in Sakura and Dragon Fruit

Recently, I had some package waiting for me in the mail. I opened it and it was from Eden's Paradise, one of the most trusted IG shops nowadays which sells products that are organic-infused and made of natural ingredients. I rarely receive cosmetics, so much to my surprise, they are all lip and cheek products in different shades of pink! So what I'm going to review is these lip and cheek balms in Sakura and Dragon Fruit.

Eden's Paradise Lip and Cheek Balms in Sakura and Dragon Fruit
Bought for: Free (P199/ea)

The first time I saw these two, I immediately had this thought that I'm never going to like the Sakura in the shade baby pink just because I had this impression that it will not be as pigmented as I thought it would be. On the other hand, I fell in love with the shade in Dragon Fruit, sort of like a hot pink, because I do love dark hues especially for my lips. But ugh, I have found out that each is best for a particular use.

The Sakura looks like baby pink while the Dragon Fruit is in hot pink shade. Both smells really nice like bubble gums, has a glossy finish and comes in small cutie patootie plastic jars like this! Believe me, they are so cute in person, they could easily fill your pouches and won't add too much weight.

So, probably because of oils in the ingredients, there's obvious moist in the top and when you try to dip your fingers and create a circular motion, it would turn glossier even when it looks matte when still unused.

I use Sakura to keep my cheeks looking flushed and fresh without looking too made up while I find the Dragon Fruit best when applied on lips as it gives me just the right shade of pink I wanted my lips to be.

You might want to keep clean fingers prior application so the product won't be tainted with germs or bacteria. I actually recommend using lip brushes as that way I could keep my icky fingers away from these lip balms which would definitely last me for months! It has small amount of content but a little would go a long way already for your lips and cheeks.

Just like what I have said, it comes with a glossy finish. If you are not fan of it though, you can work this out by getting a piece of tissue paper and dab it along your lips and you will see that these lip balms do leave a pinkish stain on your smoochies that could last for hours. In my case, they lasted for a good five hours without drinking and eating. Not bad as they are actually better than other tinted lip balms!

As you can see the Sakura offers a natural-pink flush while the Dragon Fruit looks bolder but perfectly wearable both for day and night out. What's great about them is that they are highly moisturizing for the lips and won't make them chapped or dry even when you tried to wipe away all the glossiness. Just pinky swear.

Here's what it looks like after I wiped the excess. So you see, you need not to worry about looking dull as when the product's been erased, it still leave some natural-looking pink stain on your puckers. Order yours now only at Eden's Paradise and see it for yourself!

Maybe you've tried it already? Share your experience here with me and I'll be happy to talk about it!

Anyway, until my next blog post! I will be featuring some of my future purchases from Zalora! I can't really contain my happiness as it would be my first time shopping on their website! By the way, you can check out ZALORA's extensive selection of accessories for women here.
