Gluta-C Shower Salt Scrub with Kojic Plus Whitening System Review

Gluta-C Shower Salt Scrub with Kojic Plus Whitening System
Bought for: Free with points | SRP: P164.75/250g
Available: in all leading supermarkets and drugstores

It's December! Can you feel the spirit of Christmas? I do, I do! Anyway, that means I only have one a month left to post a few blogs on my long queue of to-review products to conclude how much I've been active this 2017. This time, I will be sharing with you this newest addition to Gluta-C products (one of the best whitening drugstore brands for me) and is called Gluta-C Shower Salt Scrub with Kojic Plus Whitening System!

Well, to be honest, I've gotten rid of my fair skin tone a long time ago (I think I'm more between morena and fair right now, if there's such thing lol), and right now, I don't have the intention of making it the way it was before. In fact, I had to make a total foundation stash makeover because they no longer suit my complexion but I'm perfectly fine with it for my goal right now is not whiter, rather a healthier and more even skin tone. Spoiler alert: It lives up to my expectations!

Claims as per Sampleroom

Gluta-C Kojic Plus+ Shower Salt Scrub has 4x skin whitening action that combines the power of Glutathione, Vitamin C, Kojic Acid, and Azelaoyl Diglycinate for a more holistic skin whitening regimen. It gently yet effectively exfoliates to remove dead skin cells without causing dryness for that younger smoother skin and provides a cooling scent for a refreshed feeling. It has 3x more anti-oxidants that help reduce toxins and has moisturizing properties to help reduce dryness.

Packaging

Housed in a bulky plastic tub, this product displays all necessary information about it including claims, ingredients, directions and manufacturing date. It comes in an overall very simple packaging and has their signature orange color for the cap. Once opened, you'll see an inner lid to prevent leakage while it's still brand new. According to the product, it has 20g of product inside which I'm not really sure if it really comes out to that amount since when I did open the lid, I find that it was only half full. The idea that it was due to spillage or evaporation is a bit preposterous because it was perfectly sealed when I received it.

Texture, Consistency and Ease of Application

Comes in an orange color (what do we expect for kojic-infused products, right?), this product has a cool citrus scent that is relaxing to the senses. Unlike most other salt scrub, this product has salt as its main component but is uniquely soaked in a solution which I believe carries all the whitening actives. The salt are like sediments that settles at the bottom if unused so you really have to mix it with a mixing tool every usage so it would fairly distribute. It is also a bit messy to apply because of the runny consistency of the formula. Good thing, it doesn't stain the bathroom.

While I find most salt scrubs a bit abrasive on the skin, this one from Gluta-C seems to be more skin-friendly and gentler with the help of the silky solution that seems to create a soft barrier between the skin and salt to minimize its abrasiveness. It also rinses well and easily while leaving that soft and silky touch on the skin which is an absolutely good feeling!

Performance

While salt itself is already effective in exfoliating the skin and getting rid of dead skin cells, the combination of Glutathione, Vitamin C, Kojic Acid, and Azelaoyl Diglycinate is very helpful in bringing out that glow on your skin. I don't pretend I know the science behind Glutathione and how its effects vary whether it's taken orally or externally but since it comes in very small amount in this product, I don't think that's enough to see a significant change in skin complexion even after finishing the whole tub. Even Kojic Acid comes in very small amount as well which is but fine because I really find this a good product to begin with.

The Gluta-C Shower Salt Scrub gently exfoliates the skin without being too stripping. Combined with a good amount of Glycerin, it's enough to give me that hydrated, soft and smooth skin that looks healthy and polished every after use. It has been a go-to bath product when I'm too stressed out 'cause the cooling sensation instantly boost energy and calms the senses. Although it does not give me a dramatic effect in terms of whitening, I know I can depend on this product whenever I'd like to buff away the roughness and dullness of my skin.

Overall Thoughts

If you are a huge fan of exfoliators in scrub form just like me, I highly suggest that you give Gluta-C Shower Salt Scrub a try. It's fairly priced at only P164.75 at all leading drugstores nationwide and you can enjoy a big tub which you can use for more than a month since you only need it probably 2-3 times a week. It's also mild on the skin, I even tried it on my face just to check and there's no tingling sensation that happened! Although, since salt scrubs are still abrasive on its own, I suggest that those with sensitive skin may opt for a patch test first before fully plunging in to the salt scrub craze.

Have you tried Gluta-C Shower Salt Scrub with Kojic Plus Whitening System? If not, do you think you'd like to try one? Let me know on the comment box below! Happy blogging!

Serafica PH Strawberry Milk Shake Body Scrub Review

Strawberry Milkshake Body Scrub
Bought for: Free | SRP: P175
From: Serafica Philippines

After trying out Serafica’s body products, I’m slowly working my reviews on each of them while I still have the time. I even dropped my today’s work schedule to catch up with my long queue of to-review products. Not that I want you to thank me lol. I just feel like being so workaholic makes me forget what I really love doing: to write, inspire and share to awesome people whatever I have. So in this post, I am going to tackle about Serafica Strawberry Milkshake Body Scrub which I used in conjunction with my Insta Glam and Insta Glam Plus Soaps and Extreme Whitening Lotion. Check out my previous reviews about them if you still haven’t!

Packaging

Strawberry Milkshake Body Scrub comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a twist cap and is designed with chic and girly patterns and fonts which looks so cute! It even looks and smells yummy with the cotton balls which is part of the overall packaging. The milky strawberry scent is the bomb and I can’t help putting my nose on the crater each time I use it during bath.

One bottle contains 250g of scrub which is sufficient enough for months’ use considering that you only need a meager amount and it’s not as if you use it every single day. Don’t! You’re doing more harm than good on your skin!

Texture and Ease of Application

Just like what I have said, the scrub looks so yummy with the blend of milk and strawberry scrub. You have the option to mix them by shaking the bottle, or leave them as is. When you look closer, it has bits of strawberry seeds and salt which help in scrubbing away rough spots and reveal a smoother complexion. Do take note that salt scrubs are a bit abrasive so make sure to only scrub with light hands to avoid scratching the skin.

This scrub is easy to apply. I just lather the Insta Glam and Insta Glam Plus Soap and grab a handful amount of this scrub and massage it all over in gentle, circular motion. Once all the salt has melted, that signals that I have to rinse everything and my skin felt super soft and smooth afterwards with the lingering scent of milk and strawberry.

Performance

I really like Serafica Strawberry Milk Shake Body Scrub because it exfoliates my skin and makes it soft and smooth. It is also hydrating with its milk content and somewhat gives skin a healthy glow. It just does its job pretty well, that's it. I can say that this scrub suits whatever skin type you have as it does not irritate the skin. Although, salt scrubs are not really for the face as it could sting, especially if you are someone like me who have lots of breakouts. So be careful on that matter.

If you are looking for affordable body scrubs that will last you months, I highly suggest you try this one from Serafica. It's worth it!

First Impression: Serafica Body and Skin Care Products + Price Point

Here's to a first impression review to another organic skin care line I discovered through Instagram: Serafica PH. I found their products quite interesting so I joined their giveaway that whoever wins will luckily receive goodies from them for a period of time. Only 2 winners will be chosen and I was really lucky to be one and be trusted. I also had the freedom to choose which four products to use first and Ms. Jyka was just so nice enough to send a another soap.

Anyway, here's a first impression post about them!

Insta Glam (P120) and Insta Glam Plus (P130) Soaps

Claimed to be the best sellers and I had a pretty good guess why! Both of these lathers well with a creamy texture and feels luxurious on the skin! After a few uses, I already noticed that my skin lit up pretty nicely and I can vouch for it! The Insta Glam Plus Soap smells heavenly and definitely will be a cult-fave! Although I suggest that you lather a generous amount of moisturizer after bath 'cause these may be a bit drying due to its whitening properties.

Strawberry Milkshake Body Scrub (P149)

One of the best-smelling body scrubs ever! P149 for a 250g bottle in a super cute packaging? A definitely good steal! I won't lie when I say that this remove dead skin cells on the skin and best works with the two soaps I just mentioned. I am using it while I still have both soap lathered on my skin and the effect was just too good to miss! My skin feels so soft and supple after every use!

Extreme Whitening Body Lotion ( P250)

This lotion leaves skin brightened up every after use and is lightweight once dried. It also has a huge amount of sun protection (SPF 45). What I don't like is that I find it hard to blend on the skin and leave some white film. It also loses moisture after a few minutes so I need to apply additional moisturizer on top. A good suggestion came from Ms. Jyka: to mix the lotion with some beauty oils. A definitely nice hack to start with if you have dry body skin like mine!

Power White Soap (P120)

Haven't tried this soap yet it looks promising. Will keep you updated though!

All of these products are made with natural and organic ingredients, definitely free of harmful chemicals for a beautiful skin that's healthy inside and out! I will religiously try this product and update you once I emptied everything. I'm excited to see significant results and from the looks of it, I won't get disappointed!

First Impression Review: Wild Coconut Life's A Beach Coconut Milk and Salt Scrub

Wild Coconut Life's A Beach Coconut Milk and Salt, 100g
Bought for: Free | SRP: P100
From: Wild Coconut PH

To have that polished, smooth and soft skin, it is a must that we include body scrubs in our daily skin care regimen. Salt scrubs start to become a trendy product in the 'organic world' so I am always genuinely grateful to have generous sponsors like Wild Coconut PH, to give me samples to try. In a way, I gain ideas on which salt scrubs are the best in terms of overall performance. I won't keep you guessing any more, but this is, by far, the best natural and organic-infused salt scrub I've ever had for ages. Keep on reading if you want to know why.

PACKAGING

To be honest, the packaging speaks of how environmentalist the brand owner is because of the usage of recyclable materials for the production and it does amaze me because I am a die-hard fan of environmental heroes. That sounds too deep but it's true. Although at one-point, I can't hide the fact that it is not water-proof so during bath time, I have to keep the pouch in a higher place so it won't get soak. Also, if you are using this, keep the pouch sealed to ensure freshness. I'm thinking of transferring the remaining products on a jar though.

SCENT

The salt scrubs smells like creamy coconut and I so love it! It smells and looks yummy, sometimes I'm tempted to taste it lol. However, the scent does not cling on my skin after taking a bath which I thought it would.

TEXTURE / EASE OF APPLICATION

The salt scrubs remind me of ground coconut meat (if that is how you call it) except this is completely dry lol. I thought it would be one of those which I will find so messy to apply but when I put it on my skin, the scrubs easily adhere to it. I have salt scrubs before which are so messy to apply since they slip from the grip but this one is totally different. It has a different kind of scrubbing sensation. It also melts slowly and it even becomes gentler on skin after few seconds. It's just not the type of salt scrubs that you would be hesitant to massage onto skin because of the extreme roughness and drying properties.

PERFORMANCE

What I love most about it is that it is infused with coconut milk and oil that moisturizes and hydrates my skin even without putting on lotion afterwards. I can already feel the softness and smoothness of my skin right after every salt dissolves. It gently buffs away rough areas to reveal a brighter and more polished complexion. I just love it! I have tried this for three consecutive days--that's how addicted I have become and always looking forward to bath time--and it did not cause my skin to react adversely.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

Because of its extreme gentleness on skin, I can say that it suits any skin type whether you have dry, sensitive or oily skin. I also like using it for the face but not as frequent as body use to avoid any irritation. With its good price point and effectiveness, I would love to repurchase but I still need to try other salt scrubs in the market. Still, this Wild Coconut Life's A Beach Coconut Milk and Salt would be one of the best in my heart.

Planning to try this? Any thoughts? Comments?

Happy blogging!

First Impression: Mischka Derma Secret + Skin Care Products

Tomato Lightening Detox Glow 100g (P250)
Seaweed Peel Off Slimming Mask (P250)
Oatmeal Goat's Milk and Honey Soap (less than P100)
Derma Cover in Fair 20ml (P200)
Collagen With Enrich Lift Action 30ml (P300)
Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel (P50)

All from: Mischka Derma Secret

I have always been wanting to get my hands on Mischka Derma Secret Products and be able to review them. Good news happened and I was left starstruck with all these goodies on a basket. My, Ms. Mich sent these over! Thank you so much! Indeed, one of the most generous sponsors I had!

The first product that she sent me is this Tomato Lightening Detox Glow which is intended for scrubbing away dead skin cells on the skin. I think the scrubs are made of sugar or salt and tiny poppy seeds which does a good job in exfoliating and softening my skin. And it smells so nice too! You can't really ask me as I am that bad in describing. Huhu.

The Seaweed Peel Off Slimming Mask comes in a tube which dispense products effortlessly. When applied, it imparts some minty feel on skin which is painful at first then turns so refreshing once it dries. I have nothing against its scent too. The peeling is the most crucial part as you have to carefully peel the dried layer or it would tear apart. Hahah! I love peeling (masks)!

The Derma Cover in Fair comes in a small pump bottle that is indeed travel-friendly. A little would go a long way already. Don't put too much or you will end up looking a face full of white cast. Therefore, be careful how much you apply on. Scent wise, I love it! It also gives skin a radiant glow with a light coverage and unnoticeable cakiness!

I have not used the Oatmeal Goat's Milk and Honey Soap yet but it smells so creamy and yummy!  Can't wait to use it on bathtime!

The Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel is perfect for travel purposes. Not to mention how I can't go on a day without antibacterial products! This hand gel does not reek of alcohol, instead it smells fine. Not to mention how affordable it is!

My most favorite among all the products are the Collagen With Enrich Lift Action intended to make skin look younger and healthier. I decided to use anti-aging products because I am turning 20! It has micro-shimmers on it which makes skin looks so radiant and glowing. It smells nice too, for your information! It dries seconds after application and leaves a refreshing feel without stickiness.

And yes, that's all for today! You can visit Mischka Derma Secret (link above)  for more information. Til my next post!  Happy blogging!

Skin Lush By Pacey Ultimate Whitening Soap, Gluta Body Scrub, and Body Butter Cream Review

Ultimate Whitening Soap (P150)
Gluta Body Scrub, 100g (P350)
Body Butter Cream, 50g (P450)
From: Skin Lush by Pacey

I always get giddy everytime sellers of organic and naturally made products would tell me that they are going to send me samples of their products. This is probably because I will get to try new products and know that the numbers of organic advocates are escalating especially with the use of multimedia. Moreover, it would be a relief to know that in your own little ways, you get to help the environment. Oh di ba, gamit ka lang ng organic products, pang-beauty queen na perspective mo. Lol.

Anyway, what makes me even happier is when I figured out SLBP sent me a tub of cream-based scrub and a body butter. I recently run out of my St. Ives Scrub so it was just right on time. Plus, it's got apricot beads! I have tons of scrubs at home but unfortunately, none of them are cream-based which I do not really prefer for face-use. Also, it would be my first time trying out a body butter although I always encounter them every time I visit HBC or Watsons. I wonder how it differs from the usual creams or lotions that we apply on skin.

Without further ado, here's my thoughts on Skin Lush by Pacey Ultimate Whitening Soap.

Skin Lush by Pacey Ultimate Whitening Soap

Claim: Packed with Kojic, Glutathione, Licorice, Virgin Coconut Oil, Glycerin and Vitamin C that are known for giving a healthy white glowing skin! It gently softens and moisturizes the skin, leaving it soft and smooth. It lightens and exfoliates the skin giving you a blemish-free, fairer and whiter complexion.

This soap looks really cute with a layer of orange, white and pink. I bet the orange is a Kojic Soap, the white is Glutathione and the pink is... Just a guess, it's a rosehip soap? Anyway, combining three powerful whitening ingredients is clever as it would guarantee effects (although still depends on the concentration).

When lathered on skin, you will notice that the soaps suds richly. However, it is super drying. This is, by far, the most drying soap that I have used. I just don't know if this will yield the same effect on you though. As I lather this on my face, I would notice how my hands would easily get wrinkled because of the water and soap. This never happened to me before huhu. Tendency is, as much as I would like to, I have to avoid letting the product sit on my skin for less than a minute. Still, moisturizer is a requirement.

With this soap, I did not experience any micropeeling effect, itchiness and irritation (except dryness). However, using it suddenly for the first time cause me tiny zits on my forehead and jaw area. This is an initial reaction for me as I would normally have them on a sudden tweak in my skin care routine. On the other hand, you will notice that your skin will become more radiant ang glowing when used religiously.

Gluta Body Scrub

Claim: Reveal that softer, glowing skin with natural glutathione and apricot beads that effectively whitens and prevents damage to skin cells against free radicals in keeping your skin younger and more radiant looking!

This product has a decent packaging with the sticker label and the plastic tub. It's loaded with information too which is so appreciated. I can't exactly describe the scent of this product though I can say that it is neither overpowering nor plain.

When opened, you will see how cute the formula looks! Aside from it being cream-based, it also appears like fresh strawberry shake for me. Lol. Anyway, you get to see tiny apricot scrubs as it claims to have which is so effective to remove rough spots on skin. It actually reminds me of my favorite St. Ives Apricot Scrub.

I use it just after I clean my skin and at least 2-4 times a week to scrub off dead skin cells and rought spots. I can say that this product is so effective in giving skin a smoother, softer and more hydrated layer. There is no single thing I hate about it. Seriously, this product is soooo amazing! The price may be a bit higher compared to other body scrubs but this one is made from organic and natural ingredients, therefore, is safe for everyday use. Also, it has Glutathione on it which is scientifically proven to be effective in whitening the skin.

Using it together with the Ultimate Whitening Soap and Body Body Cream would yield favorable results such as noticeable whitening and glowing effects.

Body Butter Cream

Claim: It is a non-greasy body cream loaded with plant butters and oils that deeply hydrate and moisturize your skin, leaving it soft and healthy white looking!

Have I told you I never tried any body butters before? I used to wonder what they are, their uses or even how they should be used. I thought of it like a shower gel, lotion etc. Actually, up until now, I don't know how it's different from them.

I find the packaging quite bulky for its size because of the extra glass on the bottom. Thus, additional space and weight on purses is required. Since it only has 50g of products inside, I easily used up all the contents in as fast as 2 weeks, application is every night only as I am using the Leiania House of Beauty Ultra Light and Tone Whitening Lotion.

It's got a creamy white, almost whipped-like cream in texture which easily blends on skin and has a finish that's almost matte. It feels hydrating but I need more moisture than that so reapplication with another lotion (for me) is a must. I have no problem in terms of scent, in fact, I love it! It really smells really good like fruitsand that is made of natural and organic ingredients!

Overall, I like the Ultimate Whitening Soap, Gluta Body Scrub and Body Butter Cream. But I like the scrub and the body butter best! For more information, visit Skin Lush by Pacey! Til my next post! Happy blogging!

First Impression: Skin Bounty + Products

Oaty-Refic Soap
Dirt Out Detox Mask
Milk Scrub

I was so happy that once again, another IG brand that promotes organic products collaborated with me. They sent me three products to review which I am going to talk about today for some first impression post. But before anything else, let me introduce to you Skin Bounty--a Davao-based IG shop which sells clay masks (yay!), body scrubs, beauty oils and wax. To be honest, I love all the products that she sent me--Oaty-Refic Soap, Dirt Out Detox Mask, and Milk Scrub.

Oaty-Refic Soap, 135-150grams

This soap has a mild sweet-smelling scent, kinda similar to Go Bare's Oat Milk Porridge Soap. It also looks creamy with honey (makes skin glow with its superb uses) and oats (as mild exfoliants) as its main ingredients. It claims to help tame skin inflammation and itching and is comedogenic, raw and unscented (But why do I smell something sweet? Weird.)  Talk about organic yay! Let's see if this has a similar formula in terms of its 'sudsiness', texture and effects. I also love the embossed brand name on the body. I really have high hopes for this because this soap is included in their bestseller. So yeah, time for some road test!

Dirt Out Detox Mask, P135/30grams

It would be my first time to try a face mask that I will have to dilute first with water to make a paste then apply it on my face. Let me just tell you how excited I am to use this! Very promising indeed! This product claims to be made with main two all natural ingredients--French Green Clay which draws out toxins, improves blood circulation, and proote skin healing and Activated Charcoal which is known to deeply cleanse and detoxify skin, helps unclog pores, pulls unwanted excess oils, treats acne and aids inflammation. Wee, I feel like this product will befriend my acne-prone skin!

Milk Scrub (with heavenly vanilla scent), P95/100grams

I've got tons of milk scrubs in my stash and it's kinda hard to figure out how they differ to each other in terms of effects because I barely see none. They differ on the fineness (some are abrasive, others have finer granules), scent and texture but other than that, NADA. They all make my skin soft and smooth after first wash unless maybe if I could only use one for such a long period of time. I tried using this scrub last night and I can say that it totally smells creamy nice and helps my skin get rid of dead skin cells. Love love!

I'll be posting reviews soon after I road-test each for a good duration. For now, this will be my first impression about Skin Bounty's products! I just love organic shops like Skin Bounty and I'll forever be a die-hard supporter.

Til my next post! Happy blogging!

Bask Beauty Rub Me Good Bath Salt

Rub Me Good All Natural Bath Salt | P150
From: Bask Beauty PH
A good mix of dead sea salt and milk giving just the right amount of exfoliation and infused with fruit acids for that after shower glow. Can be used with your favorite essential oil or honey for that extra relaxing bath experience. Can be used both for face and body, avoiding the eye area.

I really appreciate the cute and sturdy packaging with a white twist-able cover except it has no information attached on a sticker or anything like that so I would not know the ingredients presented on this salt scrub. It would be a turn-off for curious people like me who likes to read labels. Anyway, I know Bask Beauty's working on it though!

I actually am in love with the fact that this scrub comes with a cute reusable wooden spoon that I can use to scoop up salt scrubs from the tub. It turned out to be more convenient to use because I can use wet hands without melting the salts.

The scrubs has this purplish dye that stays on skin even after taking a bath. I don't know if the color has something to do with the efficacy of this product but I kind of don't like it that purple tint stays on the skin (where you first applied it) because it does not look that good. It was a chance that I considered using a cleanser/toner afterwards because when I used this on my face, there was obvious dye that was wiped out by the cotton ball!

This Rub Me Good Bath Salt smells really nice! If you love the smell of milk, they you'll definitely love this too!

I like mixing it with honey and/or oil for best results since I find dry scrubs a little abrasive on the skin with all the grain edges. I admit that I hate this kind before but it was not until I have discovered that they are best when combined with honey. Girls, I really recommend that you do the same! You'll be surprise at how smooth, soft, bright, moisturized and hydrated your skin will become instantly! I know you love sniffing and touching your own pelts!

Overall, I like this scrub! It does not cause me any skin irritation nor trigger allergic reaction. I also recommend it to any skin type just as long as you can tolerate the level of abrasiveness of dry scrubs. Just be careful and try to apply it with light hands and I know, you'll be fine! Try and see the results for yourself by ordering only at Bask Beauty PH.

Happy blogging!

First Impression: Bask Beauty + Products

Prima Blush Face and Body Glow Bar, 100g (P180)
Rub Me Good Bath Salt (P150)
Toner (P165)

All from: Bask Beauty PH

Bask Beauty PH is one of the fast-rising skin care brand on Instagram that promotes skin treats that are handcrafted in Manila  with products only made of natural ingredients and is cruelty-free.

As always, I got familiar with their brands because of other IG blogger's reviews whom I follow earnestly and who raved so much about how awesome Bask Beauty products are. I really got so kilig when they decided to send me some love in the form of these awesome skin treats!

1. PRIMA BLUSH FACE AND BODY GLOW BAR

On my first cleanse with this soap, I notice instant brightening of my face. It also suds pretty much great, works well in removing dust, dirt and excess oil on my face without leaving my skin taut and dry. I have yet to figure out if this one maintains my good first impression. Full review soon so stay tuned!

2. RUB ME GOOD BATH SALT

This scrub smells heavenly. Not too overpowering nor too plain. In fact, when I opened my package, I already caught that whiff of milk and vanilla, I guess? And since it is a dry scrub, I have to mix it with little oil and honey to make application much easier.

3. PORES IN ORDER BALANCING TONER

This toner smells mild and gentle. It also does not sting especially on the portions of my face where I am currently experiencing some breakouts. At first use, I can say that it works better in hydrating and moisturizing my face than extra cleaning it which is but fine with me as moisturizer isn't anymore necessary while using this.

To tell you the truth, I am having a good first impression with Bask Beauty PH and its products. I think they are great and would yield me even better results when used religiously. Also, let's add the fact that they are soooo affordable!

So have you tried any of Bask Beauty's products? Share it here with me!

Beauty Pitch Milky Body Scrub

Here's a review on Beauty Pitch Milky Body Scrub.

Beauty Pitch Milky Body Scrub, 100g
Bought for: Free (P180)

This is one of the giveaway prizes I have received from Beauty Pitch when they conducted a contest through their IG account and I was chosen to be one of the winners. Thank you so much for letting me try this!

By the way, Beauty Pitch is one of the sellers in Instagram that produces skin care and cosmetic products with only organic and natural ingredients to make sure that what a buyer puts in her skin is nutrients-infused and is harmless.

See, I am an avid user of body scrubs and it has already become my go-to stress reliever after a humdrum day loaded with tedious works. I cannot go for a spa or massage daily so I resort to it instead to relax my tired and dull skin.

Caution: It's not really edible so keep your mouth shut, it's salty. ;)

This scrub smells heaven, at least for me though it has a pungent scent. Because milk and fruits are the top scents that provide me such kilig moments. Yup! For your reference, it smells just like this kind of milk, the one you put at the top of your..uhm..whatcha call it??? Wait, I am talking about that flavored crushed ice that would not be complete without the powdered milk on top! Ugh!!! That's my favorite but I just can't remember the name!!! Anyway, this scrub smells like that!

I even compared it to A'bonne Spa Milk Salt and this one wins over the latter! It's more yellowish in shade, smells better, produces a creamier texture when slabbed on the body, yet I find the salt more abrasive which is just neutral for me. I mean, I would not hate it just because it has thicker granules, right?

The A'bonne Spa Milk Salt smells so good and does well in sloughing of dead skin cells (that's why it's a top raved) but I did not ever think that a better milk scrub even exists.

I love how it makes my skin bright, soft and smooth every wash. It's not cream-based but it leaves my skin polished and moisturized without over-drying it. Did I say it's abrasive? Oh yeah, scrubs that are not cream-based are abrasive for my skin so I make sure to only use sufficient amount of this scrub, not too much as they easily irritate my skin.

Just a little precaution, avoid using this on open wounds as it could sting...like hell! I tried to apply it on my face (loaded with pimples) but I wasn't able to stand the pain for long so I had to rinse it off, not waiting for everything to melt. That's because it has dead sea salt.

Overall, this is a really good product. It retails for only P180 so...not bad for girls on a budget huh! I might repurchase only upon figuring out that this might be the best milk scrub in the market. Happy blogging!

Love,
Hanna
