Caronia Body Sanitizers in Green Tea, Eucalyptus, Watermelon and Lavender

CARONIA HAND SANITIZERS IN
LAVENDER, EUCALYPTUS, WATERMELON AND GREEN TEA

Happiness is an understatement if I tell you how I actually felt when Caronia marketing team e-mailed me and had me become part of their family. Way back in high school, I remembered my mom and I usually purchasing nail polishes from this brand as it's one of the best local manufacturers of quality nail products with such an affordable price.

With Caronia growing, I was definitely thrilled and privileged to witness how they added new products to their existing collections and one of which are these hand sanitizers that come in different scents Pinoys and Pinays would definitely love. My top pick would probably go to the Watermelon variant because the scent is kind of sweet and could pass as a body mist! All four scents can be really effective odor neutralizer especially after a day spent outdoor. It even comes very, very handy for me as I always do commute from North to South!

These are non-drying sanitizers despite the presence of alcohol and you can easily bring one or two everyday or use them alternately depends on your mood! I'd rather suggest you get all 4 and you won't get broke as it's only P33 a bottle! Now, which scent are more like you? I'd love to hear it down below! For more information, you can visit Caronia pages:

Althea Real Fresh Skin Detoxers in Green Tea and Rose Review

Althea Korea Real Fresh Skin Detoxer in Green Tea and Rose, 150ml
Bought for: Free | SRP: P990/set | P550/each

I have always been with Althea for 3 years with me shopping nonstop because why not? They probably have the largest collection of Korean beauty brands that are all fairly priced. I haven't been to Korea yet but using and buying authentic products from them feels like shopping the freshest stocks straight from a Korean shop shelf. Other than these two, they also have the Petal Velvet Powder and Bare Essentials Set which I haven't tried yet (not included in the PR list yet for those, unfortunately). When they turned 3 last July, it was like a big birthday celebration because they also launched two face masks which is in collaboration with Get It Beauty, Korean's No. 1 Beauty TV Show.

Being an official Althea Angel, it is really an opportunity to get first dibs on the newest and most popular from them. I was so excited when I received these masks and so I tried them immediately and I have been using them for more or less three weeks now. I'm already even half-full and I would definitely agree that it deserves a spot in my trusted Korean products.

ABOUT ALTHEA REAL FRESH SKIN DETOXERS

Althea Korea Real Fresh Skin Detoxers comes in two variants--Green Tea and Rose--both made of 100% nature's ingredients. The brand has definitely a purpose for coming up with two variants, one is for PM (Green Tea) and one is for AM (Rose) use. They are created with the goal of matching their purpose with the modern busy urbanites who are always on the go, hence the 10-seconds wash off mask idea. Yes, all you need is just 10 seconds to detoxify and give your skin some TLC.

The Rose variant claims to refine the skin, and gently smooths away roughness and gives the skin a radiant glow, protects and balances the pH level of the skin, evening out the skin's texture for perfect makeup application. It is made of premium rose petals which are only harvested once a year during every month of May from Grasse, Southern France. Using this really feels luxurious given the fact that May Rose Petals are about 5 times more effective than normal rose in balancing the skin's pH level.

The Green Tea variant, on the other hand, claims to soothe, controls oils and purify the skin especially after a long, tiresome day. It is made of carefully picked first born baby Green Tea leaves from pristine Jeju Island plantations. these are rich in Catechins which has 5 times more Vitamin C than Lemons, making them excellent at protecting the skin from sun's damage. More of these after a short break!

HOW TO USE

Squeeze out a generous amount and apply a relatively thick layer onto the dry skin. Leave the products for 10 seconds, then add a little bit of water and massage in circular motions with leaves bubbles. Rinse it off after.

INGREDIENTS (ROSE)

Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate, Acrylates Copolymer, Peg-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Pteris Multifida Extract, Cynara Scolymus (Artichoke) Leaf Extract, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Rosa Gallica Flower Powder, Methylpropanediol, Butylene Glycol, Polyquaternium-51, Beta-Glucan, Betaine, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol

INGREDIENTS (GREEN TEA)

Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate, Acrylates Copolymer, Peg-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Piper Methysticum Leaf/Root/Stem Extract, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Phellodendron Amurense Bark Extract, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Coccinia Indica Fruit Extract, Solanum Melongena (Eggplant) Fruit Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Pteris Multifida Extract, Cynara Scolymus (Artichoke) Leaf Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Flower Extract, Ocimum Sanctum Leaf Extract, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Corallina Officinalis Extract, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Powder, Methylpropanediol, Butylene Glycol, Polyquaternium-51, Beta-Glucan, Betaine, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol

PACKAGING

The product comes in a transparent plastic tube with a very clean and minimal packaging. I also appreciate brands who are focusing more on the product rather than fancy packaging. The box these were accompanied with have information all written in Korean so I find them useless. But for your reference, I took a picture of what's written on it.

When I inspected the overall design of the product, I also find out there's a part wherein you can write the date you opened these so you can document until when these products are still good enough for consumption. I didn't mind writing mine because I'm sure it will all be emptied by my second or third month especially with the fact that I use both every single day (lol).

TEXTURE, CONSISTENCY AND EASE OF APPLICATION

Both masks are rich in texture and consistency and you can tell that it's got some tidbits of the main ingredients so you can expect a mild exfoliation too. Don't worry, nothing harsh or irritating! Given the consistency, I can tell how that it's rich in Glycerin which is an effective humectant (moisturizing) so I'm so happy about it. Whenever I use these, I make sure to apply a generous amount to really detoxify and remove any remaining impurities from my pores. I like when I'm rinsing it off because it also creates bubbles (derived from coconut extracts) that melts onto the skin when massaged and it gives me the impression that I'm extra cleansing my skin without over-drying it.

SCENT

Both has strong scents of Green Tea and Rose. They are not processed fragrances (if you know what I mean and the herbal scents are still predominant. I guess that's what we really get with products made with naturally-sourced ingredients. At first, I didn't like the scents but I eventually got used to it especially after using it everyday.

PERFORMANCE

To be honest, I really love these both from the very first time I used them. I didn't want to rush with my review which is why I only talked about these now despite it launching last month.

I couldn't tell what's different between them in terms of effects because I personally use both and my skin looks exactly the same after using them. First thing I would like to commend is the fact that they got real ingredients that you can actually feel and see so the effects are really maximized. They do both cleansing and calming the skin in just 10 seconds, so I get to save in both the products I use and time I consume while using them. This alone makes me think of how innovative Althea Korea can get.

These products are really hydrating and makes skin look clarified and radiant after every use without any sting or irritation. I was having really terrible breakoutw and fresh red pimples on my face right before using these and I'm glad how both seemed to soothe all the redness on my skin. It also imparts a glass-like skin after use and this rarely happens, only whenever I use a product that's heavy-duty in both cleansing and hydrating.

I brought these once at work and one of my work mate, Ate Charity, asked if she can try the Rose variant and she goes all day raving about how the product gave her a glass skin. She also iterated how her skin felt so soft and smooth afterwards. See, it's not just me.

I would say that I can't really depend on these in terms of acne-fighting and oil control, I would love to keep two tubes of these whenever I feel like detoxifying my skin and getting rid of all impurities while clarifying my skin all the same. I noticed that both helps in fighting acne and pimple scars too which is what I badly need right now that I'm treating my breakouts with a Clindamycin Solution.

If you have both skin detoxers, it would lasts you a very long time though it depends on which one your skin needs the most. I wouldn't recommend splurging for both because they seem to have the same effect on the skin. Though I think if I would settle for one, I'd pick up the Green Tea variant because this ingredient is intended for acne, prone skin.

Always A Good Hair Day With Beauty Care Essentials Quera Pro Duo

Beauty Care Essentials Quera Pro Duo
Bought for: Free | SRP: P370 (Power Fix Serum), P330 (Smooth Complex Therapy)
From: Beauty Care Essentials

I'm not really the type who irons my hair or blows it dry or do any styling on a daily basis. I prefer to keep my mane as it is--trimmed and clean. I hate to complicate my daily routine so the simpler, the better. Just like everyone else, my hair couldn't be in great shape everyday and on most days without conditioners or treatments, it can't hide the fact that it's been uncared for and neglected. I am born with straight hair, luckily, but I still have to use something to maintain and keep it shiny, soft, smooth and definitely tangle-free.

Being a beauty blogger, I don't settle for anything for a really long time. I have to put everything in rotation and this is very evident with my hair care. I just use whatever's in my stash so I mostly end up with damaged and itchy scalp, worst case with dandruff and hair fall. These are the adverse reactions I usually get when using shampoos and conditioners that aren't hair-friendly. Because my hair's acting up, I decided to stick with a trusted shampoo brand for the meantime and it was right on time when I got my Quera Pro Duo gifted by Beauty Care Essentials.

Beauty Care Essentials is a Philippine homegrown brand and it's amazing to know how a local brand could keep up with the market's need and demand. So anything that underwent careful testing is something I would love to try for myself. And any brand which are composed of passionate and goal-driven individuals is something I admire.

QUERA PRO SMOOTH COMPLEX THERAPY
Quera Pro Smooth Complex Therapy is a different kind of deep conditioning treatment that you can use daily in the shower. The smooth texture conditioning formula when applied to hair, instantly penetrates to hair shaft for long lasting smoothness.
Use this product more often to help restore the abused hair strands caused by harsh chemicals and heat damage. Enjoy the power of moisture to hair!

The products comes in typical opaque white sturdy bottles and dispenses product with ease. The last time I had a quick getaway, I made sure to decant some on a tiny empty bottle just so I couldn't skip a day.

I also like that it has a lot of information printed on the bottle such as the claims, ingredients, manufacturing and expiry dates and directions for use--it made me think of how transparent the brand is.

The product is opaque white in color and has a thick but lightweight consistency. It also smells so sweet and nice and the scent lingers almost all day. I like hair care products with thicker consistency because I feel like they really tame and moisturize the hair from within.

This product claims to have three powerful ingredients that are effective in moisturizing the hair such as: (1) Hydrolyzed Wool Keratin Solution that fixes damaged hair and restore moisture, (2) Avocado Extract known for possessing a lot of Vitamins and nutrients for the hair and (3) D-Panthenol which is responsible in making the hair restore it's luster and shine.

I use this like how I do with regular conditioners. I apply it liberally onto my hair after shampooing, let it stay for about a minute or two before rinsing off.

I love how it relaxes each of my hair strands and keep my locks bouncy and manageable. What I love about this product is that it does not cause dandruff or itchy scalp which I usually get from trying out new products. Also, it keeps flyaways at bay, no need for blow-drying because my hair looks straighter with this.

QUERA PRO POWER FIX WEIGHTLESS SERUM CONTROL
Quera Pro Power Fix is a unique type of "weightless" premium serum in the market that is suitable for all kinds of hair type, may it be straight, curly or kinky! Everyone's a victim of dry hair!
This is not just an ordinary serum that helps remove your frizz but it restores your damaged hair follicle that you got from harsh chemicals for your lavishing monthly hair color and straightening treatments. The combination of moisturizing elements and the star of all... the Hydrolyzed Keratin coats the hair shaft and tames down the unwanted dryness and split-ends.
It's like a genie in a "small" bottle! A guaranteed salon-quick-fix hair!
The good news is you can re-apply this anytime of the day without the "eeky"-greasy and heavy feeling on hair. Have that looking sleek, shiny, sexy look all day 'til night!

The Quera Pro Power Fix comes in a travel-size bottle with a pump and a clear cap. I honestly am not a fan of this type of packaging because I tend to lose the cap at most times. Whenever I had this on my makeup purse, which is pretty much every day, the cap always splits up with the bottle. If you are more careful than me, that is probably only a minor issue.

Just like the Smooth Complex Therapy, I find it amazing that you can see all the important information you will ever need on the body of the bottle. It comes with a box too wherein you can find the same information.

The formula is clear white and runny in consistency and has a really lovely lingering scent. Using it with the conditioner would really make sure your hair stays and smells fresh all day long.

This product is true to its claim--it's definitely lightweight and does not make your hair look and feel greasy at all. I love how it makes my hair looks so smooth and shiny without the oiliness and discomfort. I am using it every after bath while my hair is still wet, about 2-3 pumps starting from the ends and up and I'm always surprised at how healthy my hair looks until the end of the day. Thanks to its numerous active ingredients like Hydrolyzed Wool Keratin Solution, Avocado Oil Extract, D-Panthenol, Olive Oil Extract and Jojoba Oil.

Using this duo for about two weeks now, I can tell how softer and healthier my hair has become. It's easier to style my hair now and though I frequently dye it, it just seemed to get back to its original shape. I am just contemplating on whether or not I could repurchase this duo because to be honest, I kind of think that the SRP for both is a bit too much as there are other drugstore hair care products I truly trust. If that is not an issue for you, by all means, go ahead and purchase this Quero Pro Duo and I guarantee you won't regret it.

If you are interested, you can order via Lazada, Shopee, and Giltbox or visit BCE on their Instagram account!

I've Had The Most Convenient Way Of Coloring My Hair ft. Liese Blaune Creamy Foam Color

Liese Blaune Creamy Foam Color in Golden Brown and Bronze Brown
Bought for: Free | SRP: P419/each
From: Liese Philippines

I have always wanted to dye my hair but rather than spending thousands in hair salons, I would prefer doing it myself. Not just I get to save some cash but I could also learn from it, right? I have been planning to dye my hair and miracle just happened when Liese Philippines reached out to me and said that they would love to send something over for me to try. Well, it was a beautiful PR package, is it not? Liese has been making the rounds now in social media and a lot of fellow bloggers has been talking about them lately. Just what an overwhelming surprise it is to be chosen as one of the reviewers by Japan's #1 Hair Coloring Brand, right? Having received two timeless shades of hair dyes, I just couldn't wait to share my experience with you! Moving forward, here's my thoughts after trying out the one in Golden Brown!

Claims
An easy-to-use, fuss-free hair dye kit that quickly transforms gray to trendy hair color. Non-drip foam turns to cream and enables complete coverage of strands; pigment-rich colorant transforms gray strands to trendy hair color; lets you achieve rich, lasting tints; replenishes moisture with royal jelly extract to give hair a healthy, bouncy look; “low-smell” formula won’t sting.

Shades

The Liese Blaune Creamy Foam Color line is designed to entirely cover gray hair which I don't mind playing with. So I was sent two (2) shades to review among the four (4) shades from the Basic Brown series--Golden Brown, Bronze Brown, Brown and Black Brown. There's a few more color variety to choose from like Red/Pink, Warm Brown and Ash Brown Series. One item from the PR package I got is Golden Brown which appears to be more vibrant than the Bronze Brown. Since I have uncolored hair prior to application, I opted for the one that promises a more vibrant shade based on the color guide provided.

Packaging

To be honest, your mind won't go blank because there are lots of precautions and directions that are found in one kit. The box itself displays all (or even more) necessary information you will ever need for a safe, hassle-free application. You really have to read over because there are really important notes that you will need to follow. One mistake and you might not like what you will eventually get.

What's included in the kit? And what you will be needing...

Basically, there's solution 1 (black bottle) and solution 2 (white bottle) that you have to mix together. The solution in the white bottle has a milky color while the one in black has a clear color. Both are liquidy. Once you mix them together, they will turn a fuzzy shade of grayish brown which I believe what would give the hair the tint it needs. There's also this pink foaming device that you have to switch over with the cap from the white bottle. I really do appreciate that you can find a rinse-off treatment in this kit to save your hair mainly from dyeing. Set that pink aluminum sachet aside for now, you won't need that until you rinse the foam off your hair. There's two gloves provided to avoid staining your hands while you are on the process.

And just what did I tell you about too much information? I'm quite surprise that this product also includes a huge manual that displays all the information you have to know about the product. There's both Japanese (I think it's Japanese because Liese is a Japanese brand, right? Correct me if I'm wrong!) and English translation so no worries, you will catch up!

Before I forget, you will also need a towel, oil-based creams to avoid staining your skin and easy removal of dyes, and basically anything to protect the things around you (floor, tables, etc) from staining.

Directions For Use

The manual is very user-friendly so you won't have troubles following what it's saying. Make sure that your hair is clean and dry prior to application and wear clothes that you don't mind staining. Apply a generous amount of oil based creams on any areas of your skin that you think might accidentally get stained like ears, forehead, and nape.

Basically, you just have to pour Solution 1 to the bottle of Solution 2  Mix them by turning the bottle upside down for 5 times and make sure not to shake! Replace the white cap with the pink foaming device, wear your gloves and start squeezing away to create foam. Disperse it on your hair as quick as you could and remember that the solution is only good for about 60 minutes/1 hour after mixing both solutions together. You don't have to have any skills in applying the foam just as long as you make sure that every strands are coated. It's basically like how you shampoo your hair.

You have to leave it on for about 20 minutes or more depends on how quick you think your hair would absorb the tint. I left mine for about 30 minutes after covering my head with foam. It was noted the one kit would suffice a shoulder-length hair, mines not long enough but definitely longer and thicker so I'm quite hesitant with the ratio. Still, I let it go.

Performance

I was really satisfied with the outcome because it gave me an even color that does not look like I just did it myself. It gave me a coppery shade of brown I love and the color was so vibrant that even my colleagues told me how I look so 'blooming'. Given that I have black hair, one kit gave me a whole new look and the color was distinguishable enough even from afar. The whole process was super easy and it barely took me 2 hours to have everything done. Thanks to the non-drip formula, I don't have to tire myself up for cleaning out mess and stains. Everything about is is absolutely true, though I'm still kind of irritated with the funky strong scent of dyes, I appreciate that it wasn't too strong at all.

For those who are asking, Liese Blaune Creamy Foam Color dried my hair just a teeny bit but it's nothing the rinse-off treatment and maintenance conditioners wouldn't get rid of. Overall, I'm just so satisfied with this product, I'm so happy I tried it, and looking forward to try Bronze Brown maybe next month! Have you tried self-hair-coloring?

Belle Kris Four Seasons Collection Lotions Review

Belle Kris Belle Kris Four Seasons Collection Lotions
Variants: Blissful Autumn, Moonlight Winter, Sweet Summer, Youthful Spring
Bought for: Free | Price: to be updated
From: Belle Kris

Hi guys! Allow me to make up for my lazy days by writing another product review hihi! Now, I am going to talk about Belle Kris Four Seasons Collection Lotions! Yay!

If you are a reader of this blog, you would know that I am a self-proclaimed lotion junkie. I can't exactly pinpoint what's in them, but they are just something I can fall in love with every day and at the same time. That is why when Belle Kris sent me all four of their lotions, I got so ecstatic. Imagine receiving gifts that you are really fond of? That was what became of me. Crazily ecstatic.

Now, one thing I find special about these lotions are their fragrances which are made with Parfum from Barcelona, Spain. The only lotions that I used that is really strong (but in an awesome way) in terms of its scent were the Musk by Alyssa Ashley and the one I received from Ms. Favia of Leiania House of Beauty. Other than that, I would classify most of the products that I used as only mildly-scented. Now something has added up.

I would say that the packaging looks like typical lotion bottles with a cover that shuts tight with a click. No worries. Their sizes feels like bite-sized lotion bottles which you can easily carry around and is good for traveling. It is also complete with details and ingredients, manufacturing and expiry dates which I can hardly capture with my cam because of the color and font size. Anyway, the only difference are their colors and scents.

Claims: Made in the Philippines. Belle Kris 4 Season Collection is a moisturizing parfum lotion that is clinically proven to keep your skin moist, radiant and fragrant. Our team of specialists formulated a non-sticky lotion that is easily absorb by the skin that leaves your skin beautifully smooth and soft throughout the day. All fragrances are imported from Barcelona, Spain.

Ingredients (same all four): Aqua, Glycerin, Mineral Oil, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Tetrasodium EDTA, DMDM Hydantoin, Fragrance

The idea of having four seasons collection is nice at least you get to choose your mood. Hindi lang pala drinks ang may four seasons, bet?

In terms of consistency, they are the same. They are pearly white in color and is slightly runny. Compared to other creamy lotions, this one feels lighter on the skin. Also, each of them is very moisturizing without the heavy feeling so it is suitable for daily wear even during the hot season. My only problem would be its lack of SPF content so you might want to layer on some sunblock on top to keep you protected from the harmful rays of the sun. Scent is all okay, but my favorite is the Blissful Autumn (pink) because it got the strongest and longest wearing scent!

Overall, I like this Belle Kris Four Seasons Collection! They are very hydrating and moisturizing. They keep my skin soft and smooth all day without the uncomfortable feeling heavy creams imparts. It is affordable too so you might want to avail this collection!

Happy blogging!

Skin Care Organic Cocoon Soap Review

Skin Care Organic Cocoon Soap
Bought for: Free | Price: P180
From: Skin Care Organic

First, let me thank my Skin Care Organic Family for sending this soap over along with some skin goodies. I actually have five more soaps to review soon but for today, let me share to you my thoughts about Skin Care Organic Cocoon Soap. I know you are surprised to hear that the organic world is now infusing cocoon silk to skin care products. It is not my first time encountering an extraordinarily weird yet beneficial product--the first one is the Bee Venom. But..really, cocoon? I, myself, hardly believe it until SCO sent me one. And they are really cocoon shells! Amazeballs!

By the way, for your information, cocoon silks are known to greatly exfoliate skin, making it soft and smooth. It also stimulates skin for improved collagen production and helps wipe away wrinkles.

Claims: For acne prone skin, made with tea tree extract to fight pimple-causing bacteria and silk cocoo for mild exfoliation. Silk cocoon imparts sericin to the skin, a protein made by silk worms. It also promotes collagen production for smoother, youthful skin. A beauty and anti-acne soap in one. 100% natural soap and is handmade with love.

Ingredients: Glycerin, Organic Oils, Tea Tree Extract, Real Cocoon Silk

The first time I saw this soap, I can't get myself to use this. I mean it is just too cute to ruin. Whatcha think? I was first confused with those hollowed-out shells inside the hardened soap then I realized they are real cocoons. I actually thought they were just extracts, but we were provided with real ones so the benefits that you will get are not synthetic. I tried cutting this soap into sections, but mind you, do not try, as they are pretty hard to break. However, when you let the water sip through, you will eventually find out that it can soften as well and that's what makes it a good exfoliator especially on more sensitive parts of the face area. Obviously, there are hardened soap stuck inside the cocoons so you might want to cut the softened shells to emit the soap which you an still use.

This soap has an almost strong scent, probably because of Tea Tree Extract which is good for acne/pimple-prone skin. Luckily, this soap does not melt easily on soap dishes. It suds gently too and is non-drying. If I am not mistaken, this is the first soap nfor acne-prone skin which is not at all drying. In fact, it is so hydrating--thanks to Glycerin!

Using this soap for a period of one month, I would say that it does not really control breakouts. In fact, on my first week of use, I developed tiny bumps on the face. I hinted it was because of the Tea Tree Extract which always fails to work for my pimple-prone skin. On a lighter note, this works well for my body as it immediately gives a soft, smooth, clean and hydrated layer! Now, if your skin reacts well to Tea Tree Extract, you might want to give this a try!

'Til my next post! Happy blogging!

Setting powders are important after applying your base makeup because they work as the tool to make it last longer. Without them, expect your bases to melt easily in a matter of few hours. Not to mention, how warm the weather in the Philippines is. It is a good news that Fashion 21 send me these two-way cakes for review--new babies to play with! Yey!

One product costs P180 each for an 11g compact powder--very affordable, yes? By the way, provided above are their ingredient list. Kindly click it to view the enlarged image so you can read what's written on the box. I love how it is provided with all the details so OC consumers would have something to rely on if they want to know the ingredients, manufacturing dates, shades, benefits, etc.

The products are sealed with plastics first to avoid scratches and fingerprints? Could be.

I am going to spill everything I love about these right now, all right? Okay, first, I like that it comes in four variants which, I believe, is intended for different skin types. One is infused with nothing as it is the original one, another is papaya-infused, next is the one with tea tree oil and the last is the one with milk moisturizers. The powder without any herbal plants or natural ingredients is probably for natural skin types. The Tea Tree Oil-infused, however, I believe is for acne-prone skin types. The papaya is intended for those who wants lighter skin tone and the one with  milk moisturizers on it is for those with dry skin. Amazing how they think that way very carefully. And wait, did I tell you that they come in different shades too? Yes! One variant has four shades to choose from--all is intended for Pinay shades and skin tones!

Each powder is housed in a plastic compact packaging which would definitely fit pouches perfectly so you can depend on them for easy travel. I prefer these than bring my foundations on heavy fragile glass containers. However, be careful as the the hard plastic can still develop cracks when stored improperly or when you put pressure on it. It also comes in four colors so whatever variant you decided to use, you will get an idea what color the compact is while making no mistake in getting one for another one. Black for the original. Pastel green for  Tea Tree Oil. Pastel orange for Papaya. And white for Milk Moisturizers. Each compact is accompanied with a typical sponge for application.

As you can see in the picture, three of these are in shade number 2 but the difference in the nudity of the powder is very significant. Maybe it is because of the natural products infused to it? Well, I have no idea. Nonetheless, I would have to admit that it could be on the least of my concerns if ever there are. Surprisingly, the difference in shade does not matter as they do not make my face turn lighter nor darker--just a hint of different brightness and glow.

Again, these are a two-way cakes so you may use these either with a dry or wet sponge is okay. But I prefer to use it dry because the sponge takes time to dry and they would develop bacteria lol too much explanation but seriously, I don't like it wet unless you are going to use this alone without any liquid foundation. Hmm...I guess that is the only time you could use a wet sponge because if you have liquid foundation on then you put this powder, it may results to two outcomes: wiped out liquid foundation or cake-y looking foundation. However, be informed that these things only happen to me, thus my opinions are based on my experiences. I don't know if the same thing would happen to you. So feel free to try!

A little of the powder would already make your face instant soft, smooth and matte. Using these did not cause me breakouts too. Coverage is very sheer, I believe it is only great as setting powders. Longevity is of average quality so you might want to bring it along with you for easy retouch. Anyway, you won't expect much given the price. If your concern are the scents, well, they are fragranced with hints of chemicals which some of you, I believe, would find off-putting. I don't mind them though.

Overall, I like these two-way cakes from Fashion 21. I highly recommend these to those who are in a beauty budget as it is very affordable and to those who consider themselves as novice makeup enthusiasts that would love to try different drugstore brands of makeup.
