My hair's been dull and dry lately and I've been suffering from dandruff and severe hair breakage too. It must be because of constant stress and lack of sleep or even food I eat. Either way, I am finding some hair solutions that would help me bring back the healthy mane I used to have. A couple of months back, I took a quick visit to Sample Room and got myself a shampoo and conditioner from Watsons's own exclusive brand - Naturals. Today, we're talking about them.

PACKAGING

Both products are packed and secured upon arrival. The overall packaging looks so eco-friendly with the wooden cap and recyclable plastic bottle. You can find all the necessary information in the packaging such as claims/benefits, ingredient list, usage, and expiry dates. The dispenser is okay but it gets loose and hard to work with after several pumps. This is a very minor issue though.

This shampoo smells fresh and it lathers richly when applied to the hair. It cleanses the scalp and hair and removes excess oil without drying. I don't trust organic hair care products because most of the ones I've tried before worsen dandruff and breakage. I'm happy that I have something to trust now. The lingering scent is awesome too!

Naturals by Watsons Argan Oil Conditioner has a lighter consistency compared to other conditioners I've tried before. It doesn't feel so slippery on the skin but surprisingly, it makes my hair softer, smoother and more moisturized. It's easier to rinse too unlike other conditioners in the market. The fragrance is light but good and it lingers for quite some time. I like how my hair smells whenever I use these two products.

Overall, I am liking both of these. My hair feels lighter and straighter upon every wash. They feel more moisturized and healthier too so yes, it's a thumbs up for me. Let me know which ones you've tried from Naturals by Watsons hair care line! Happy blogging!

Here comes the newest from Cream Silk - Triple Keratin Rescue Treatment Creme in Ultimate Repair and Shine and Ultimate Straight. I don't know if you've seen my review about the conditioners but I love both and now I'm so happy that they also released a counterpart treatment cremes perfect for a weekly hair pampering session. This is like heaven sent to me because I'm having trouble with my hair nowadays. It's become so dry, dull and frizzy from the summer heat and lack of salon treatments. Now I'm so excited to get that shiny, sleek salon-like hair without spending a lot.

PACKAGING

Both are housed in a sturdy plastic tub that you have to twist open. It has an overall matte black body with touches of gold (ultimate repair and shine) and pink (ultimate straight). I love the overall packaging and it makes me think these are the luxury version of the old Cream Silk products lol. I appreciate all the necessary information that's printed on the jar. In that way, we're all aware of what we're actually putting on.

DIRECTION FOR USE

After washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner, apply Cream Silk Ultra Treatment Crème from root to tip and massage thoroughly to absorb into wet hair. Leave it on for 3 minutes. Rinse well after.

For extra nourishment and conditioning for your hair, the Cream Silk Triple Keratin Ultra Treatment Crème is recommended for use at least once a week.

I could suffer from itchy, flaky scalp and dandruff whenever I use shampoos that aren't suitable for my hair. It's easily irritated that it could even develop bumps and breakouts that are both painful and itchy. Yes, it's that sensitive. I've been looking for a hair treatment that would soothe and moisturize it and I think I've found the one. Today, we'll be talking about the Naturals By Watsons Aloe Vera Hair and Scalp Tonic I got a few weeks ago from SR.

CLAIMS

Naturals by Watsons Aloe Vera Hair and Scalp Tonic has a refreshing formula that contains Salicylic Acid to prevent dandruff and regulate sebum for dry and oily scalp.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Organic Aloe Vera Juice nourishes the hair and soothes dry, irritated and itchy scalps to prevent flaking. Natural Aloe Vera Extract replenishes the hair's moisture from deep down, repairs the skin barrier with conditioning effect. HOW TO USE

It comes in a tinted plastic bottle with a pump dispenser and I like that it has a long tube that I can use to dispense product onto a particular area of the skin that is irritated. The bottle is tinted and has a safety cap for protection and hygiene. The bottle displays all necessary information about the products such as claims, ingreidients, directions for use, etc. Manufacturing and expiry dates are both printed at the bottom.

SCENT, TEXTURE AND CONSISTENCY

Products come in a clear liquid form and is runny like water. It smells like mint and fresh Aloe which I really like and the scent lingers for quite a while. It makes hair look like it's wet (when applied on dry hair) and it takes overnight before you can tell the product has been completely absorbed. I don't usually apply it in the morning because I feel my hair becoming more greasy considering that I commute a lot. I prefer to use it overnight where I don't care very much what's on my skin.

PERFORMANCE

It's true to its claim, overall. It moisturizes my scalp and hair in an instant without being too sticky and greasy. Overtime, it lessen my scalp's dryness and reduces flaking skin too. I like how it instantly provide relief to itchy scalp and how it makes my hair smells great. For only P229, I get a bottle with 129 ml amount of product which will definitely go a long way. If you have dandruff-prone and itchy scalp, this is a product you will like as an instant relief. It does not completely get rid of the hair and scalp problems unless you make sure to use only shampoos and conditioners that you trust in conjunction with.

Silky Soft and Straighter Hair With The Newest From Cream Silk!

I was just so lucky to snag two full-sized Cream Silk products the last, last, last time I made a haul at Sample Room (lol). I guess I was even luckier because these are the newest variants from Cream Silk. I am not an avid user of conditioners, tbh, but whenever my hair situation requires, I make sure to use Cream Silk alone as an instant boost. I just love how drastic the improvement always is in just one use.

These are ultra  conditioners with the claim to be Cream Silk's most advanced 3-in-1 conditioning system yet that gives the benefits of 3 Keratin products (relaxers, serum and essence) in one ultimate solution. Both have different jobs wherein the pink one is supposed to tame frizz and polishes hair strands from roots to tips for hair that's ultimately smoother and straighter while the gold one works to nourish each hair strand and helps repair damage inside and out for hair that's ultimately healthy and shiny.

The product comes in pearly white formulas that's quite thick and creamy so you will really feel your hair being softened when you apply this. They also has really nice scent that lingers for quite a while. And I love that about them!

Truth be told, I couldn't tell how much difference they've imparted on my hair because using them yields almost the same result which is softer, smoother, shinier and more manageable mane. My hair is straight to begin with, but I can definitely tell that the strands feels lighter and less frizzy whenever I use these. They also look shiny and well-tamed than when I have nothing on.

I'm not really the type who irons my hair or blows it dry or do any styling on a daily basis. I prefer to keep my mane as it is--trimmed and clean. I hate to complicate my daily routine so the simpler, the better. Just like everyone else, my hair couldn't be in great shape everyday and on most days without conditioners or treatments, it can't hide the fact that it's been uncared for and neglected. I am born with straight hair, luckily, but I still have to use something to maintain and keep it shiny, soft, smooth and definitely tangle-free.

Being a beauty blogger, I don't settle for anything for a really long time. I have to put everything in rotation and this is very evident with my hair care. These are the adverse reactions I usually get when using shampoos and conditioners that aren't hair-friendly. This product claims to have three powerful ingredients that are effective in moisturizing the hair such as: (1) Hydrolyzed Wool Keratin Solution that fixes damaged hair and restore moisture, (2) Avocado Extract known for possessing a lot of Vitamins and nutrients for the hair and (3) D-Panthenol which is responsible in making the hair restore it's luster and shine.

I use this like how I do with regular conditioners. I apply it liberally onto my hair after shampooing, let it stay for about a minute or two before rinsing off.

I love how it relaxes each of my hair strands and keep my locks bouncy and manageable. What I love about this product is that it does not cause dandruff or itchy scalp which I usually get from trying out new products. Also, it keeps flyaways at bay, no need for blow-drying because my hair looks straighter with this.

The formula is clear white and runny in consistency and has a really lovely lingering scent. Using it with the conditioner would really make sure your hair stays and smells fresh all day long.

This product is true to its claim--it's definitely lightweight and does not make your hair look and feel greasy at all. I love how it makes my hair looks so smooth and shiny without the oiliness and discomfort. I am using it every after bath while my hair is still wet, about 2-3 pumps starting from the ends and up and I'm always surprised at how healthy my hair looks until the end of the day. Thanks to its numerous active ingredients like Hydrolyzed Wool Keratin Solution, Avocado Oil Extract, D-Panthenol, Olive Oil Extract and Jojoba Oil.

Using this duo for about two weeks now, I can tell how softer and healthier my hair has become. It's easier to style my hair now and though I frequently dye it, it just seemed to get back to its original shape. I am just contemplating on whether or not I could repurchase this duo because to be honest, I kind of think that the SRP for both is a bit too much as there are other drugstore hair care products I truly trust. Recently, my hair has been acting up real badly. Aside from non-stop hair fall, I noticed that it was severely damaged--it seems like it was not properly taken care of. I felt a huge guilt 'cause my mane was something I didn't pay much attention to as much as with my skin. After I cut it short (I had the colored hair removed), I decided to tweak my hair care routine, switched back to the shampoo that works for me and use Moringa O2 2 in 1Anti-Dandruff Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner with Argan Oil simultaneously with my synthetic shampoo. I stopped using conditioners cause they seem to weaken my hair roots and just decided to incorporate some new finds from Charis Celeb in conjunction with my trusted hair care products. These are Hey! Deux Yeoza Rapunzel Hair Day and Night Leave In Treatments. Charis Celeb sent me these but reviews I'm about to tell you are with pure honesty and are not influenced by anything or anyone nor was I paid to do this.

Claims

What it is: A leave-in, daily nutritive treatment cream infused to nourish and repair dry or damaged hair. What it is formulated to do: The Rapunzel Hair Cream prevents hair from drying out, repairs split ends, and restores hair's body and shine. The non-oily, non-sticky formula deeply nourishes without weighing hair down or altering color. It delivers beautiful shine and a subtle scent.

Packaging

Packaging wise, they are both lovely and the combination of peachy pink and blue just looks so girly. I was surprised that these came in huge tubes with aluminum seals that I just can't stop thinking how long these would last me, after all, I just need these at least twice a day and each comes with 180ml of product inside. By the thought of it, it will be with me for months and that's already an excellent value for money!

Although it looks as if all claims and stuff were very detailed, I don't read Korean so I would appreciate if it's written in universal language. What I can read are only the names and the expiration date lol. Good for you if you can read Korean! Good thing, there's the application of Charis Celeb where you can read what's it for. In terms of directions for use, thinking they are typical leave-in treatments, which indeed they are, I'm pretty sure we all know the drill.

Scent, Consistency and Ease of Application

In terms of scent, both of which has really nice scent that lingers especially the Moist Day. To be honest, this is the scent I would want in perfumes! If ever they would come up with a counterpart perfume, I would surely hoard!

Moist Day comes in pink colored cream while Enriching Night comes in white. Both are easy to apply, lightweight and non-sticky. I just find that the Enriching Night is more liquid-y but is more moisturizing--something I don't doubt since it's mainly for nourishing and repairing the hair while you sleep so it needs to be more potent.

The thing with hair care products is that they make my hair oily and they seem to weigh my hair down, making them flat and lifeless. I didn't experience anything with Hey! Deux Yeoza Rapunzel Hair Moist Day and Enriching Night Leave In Treatments. They are just so lightweight yet provides hydration and nourishment for the hair.

How to apply:

I guess we just have to follow our own steps in terms of applying these to our hair--whichever works for you best. But what I do is to apply a generous amount on my hair starting mid-length to the roots and then brush my hair to distribute the product evenly onto each strands before stylish my hair. I just had my hair blow-dried on the photo down below. Sorry for the messy background!

Performance

These products have pure natural extracts that protect the hair. Moist Day has Super Berry Complex, Ceramide NP and Sunflower Seed Oil while Enriching Night has Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter, Mango Seed Shea Butter and Hydrolyzed Collagen and Keratin. Most of the benefits of these ingredients are unfamiliar but who cares, forget about those as long as they work!

Lately, I've noticed my hair gone frizzy and dry that I have found myself more accustomed to using conditioners which, unfortunately, causes my hair to lose its strength and cause unending hairfall. Choosing whichever between the two has its own side effects so it's just a good thing I have found this product from Moringa-O2. It's an herbal shampoo and conditioner in one infused with the famous Argan Oil along with other herbal plant extracts like Malunggay, Omega and Olive Oil. These are powerful ingredients known to target almost all hair problems and promote healthy hair and scalp from within.

Anyway, since Moringa O2 has been established as a brand with good reputation, I thought any product from their skin care and hair care line would be worth a shot, after all.

The packaging is very informative--it displays all necessary information about the product such as the claims and uses of active ingredients, the ingredient list itself, directions for use, expiry date and every information about the product that you can think of.

Moringa O2 2 in 1 Anti-Dandruff Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner with Argan Oil comes in an ocean blue liquid that's quite runny. It smells really nice with its cooling effect as well. One thing I noticed is that it does not lather very much (albeit the high content of SLS) and it's something that kinda bothers me since my hair gets super oily as well. Because I always commute, my hair tends to collect all possible gunk out there making hair care products suds less. I know it shouldn't bother me 'cause non-lather products does not mean they don't cleanse enough but I guess it's just based on personal preferences. I like non-sudsy facial products, don't get me wrong, but we're talking about hair here. And because this product does not foam enough, I tend to double cleanse my hair too.

I could have liked the fact that this is an herbal shampoo and conditioner in one, had it been playing its part. Since it claims to moisturize the hair with the combination of oils, it should really be doing its part. I noticed that my hair is not moisturized at all although it makes hair feel so lightweight, soft and bouncy. Still, if you have like really coarse hair, conditioner is very much advisable. I'm using it together with my Hey! Deux Yeoza Rapunzel Hair Day and Night Leave In Treatment for maximum results.

Moringa O2 2 in 1 Anti-Dandruff Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner with Argan Oil is a bit more expensive than other commercial shampoos with its price of P199.75 for a 200ml bottle. I must say it gets rid of dandruff and oily scalp effectively but there are other shampoos that works for me better than it does. I just don't think it lives up to all of its promises but overall, this is still a good product. It's something I don't hate nor love.
