Current Favorite: Laneige Clear C Advance Effector Ex

Laneige Clear C Advance Effector Ex
Bought for: P1520
Bought from: Althea Korea

Here's a review on an essence I've been loving lately albeit not a product that's new in the market. I've done a quick search about Laneige Clear C Advance Effector Ex and found out that it's been there since like 2014. I got it from Althea Korea during an online sale and I'm just so glad I did. It's a K-beauty product that I wish could stay forever. So what's with this essence and why I feel so excited sharing this to you? Keep reading after the short break!

CLAIMS

Perk up dull complexions with a boost of vitamin C! Laneige's Clear C Advanced Effector_Ex is packed with extracts from acerola cherry and acai berries, superfoods that are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C for a bright, healthy complexion. It also contains Melacrusher technology that, when combined with the berries, works 3.5x more effectively than other brightening ingredients. The thing we love most about this product is how great it feels on the skin: it has a watery texture that quickly absorbs in without leaving any stickiness behind.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Superberry Extract - Rich in antioxidants and vitamin C to brighten dull, tired skin
Niacinamide - Brightens and clarifies the skin
Neem leaf extract - Has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties

So basically, this product is made up of 92.5% Superberry extract (Acerola Cherry and Acai Berries) with four times the anti-oxidizing benefits of Vitamin C and thus prevent skin from oxidizing and reveal a brighter, healthier complexion. I have nothing against Vitamin C but I don't really like the tingling and oxidizing properties of such ingredient. Also, they require careful storage or they will lose their efficacy faster than you know it. It's so good to discover an alternative that's basically around the same price range and works just at par or better than other Vitamin Cs in the market.

HOW TO USE

Saturate the cotton pad with the product and wipe onto the skin, then gently pat the skin for better absorption. It is recommended to use at least three (3) pumps per use which I strictly follow to hydrate my skin and make up for the loss of moisture after cleansing. Swipe the cotton gently in a upward motion. To get the most out of it, you can forget about the cotton pads and just pump straight to your palms. One pump is enough to moisten the entire face so you can do 'skins' with this depends on the condition of your skin.

PACKAGING

It comes in a huge cardboard box and inside were a smaller box that contains several cotton pads and the gorgeous pump bottle. It's tinted pink and is frosted so it has a weight to it. The silver cap is sleek and the pump is working, dispensing a large amount of product in a single pump. The overall packaging is very simple but has a prestige feels to it. You will not see so many information about the product on the outer packaging, so make sure you read the accompanying manual.

I like the uniqueness of the bottle. It even came with a scale so I can track the days I've  used it already and for how many days will it still be good for.

SCENT, TEXTURE AND EASE OF APPLICATION

This essence has a subtle fruity scent which I like. It has a watery consistency and dries quickly without any sticky/greasy feeling. Despite that, this product will leave skin hydrated and clean. This is probably the most lightweight essence I have tried ever. And despite the strong anti-oxidant property, it doesn't sting when applied.

OVERALL PERFORMANCE

I really like everything about Laneige Clear C Advance Effector Ex. It may be a little expensive but it would last for a month and for me, it's definitely worth the splurge. It's able to hydrate my skin as if I don't need to apply moisturizer afterwards. Using it feels like improving the performance of other skincare products I am using it in conjunction with.

I've been breaking out the past couple of months, my skin's texture is worse and there are a lot of blackheads from the different parts of my face. My skin appears dull as well because of all the stress and life issues I'm going through so I sort of neglect skincare. I'm pretty sure it shows because see how less frequent I blog now. It was only recently when I've seen such improvement in my skin's texture and I'm sure Laneige plays a huge part in bringing back my skin's lost glow. I still have bumps all over but they are more manageable now. I just feel like my skin is more supple, softer and healthier now.

I am so glad I discovered another effective product from the Laneige and I'm thinking of repurchasing once I had an extra budget. If you are looking for a product that will effectively rejuvenate the skin and will moisturize in and out, I would definitely suggest this product. It feels very gentle and calming too so I think it will be suitable for all skin types.

Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush Review

Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush
Bought for: P1000 | SRP: P1600
Bought from: Zalora

I've been hearing lots of great feedback about this Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush. Being someone who loves makeup brushes, I know sooner or later, I'll root for this. In fact, it has been in my wish list for like forever...well, what do you expect with something that's labeled as perfect? What's holding me back before though was the price pointpretty expensive for a tiny brush. When it went from P1,600 to almost P1000 (with a promo code) during Shiseido sale in Zalora, I just went ahead and carted it. Immediately, yes, despite the fact that I'm banning myself from buying anything.

CLAIMS

Finally, a multi-use foundation brush for use with all formulations - liquid, cream or powder. Excellent pick-up of all types of formulas for a uniform application and impeccable finish. No matter the formula use to contour and highlight to enhance your best features. Reach all facial contours with the gently tapered strands that create an angled slant. The short handle allows for precise control during application and portability for travel. Shiseido's innovative technology combines with traditional Japanese brush-making techniques to create the perfect foundation finish.

Product is housed in a transparent plastic packaging that has information about the product. The brush itself is literally small, in fact, the smallest face brush I have in my stash. I used to doubt its ability to get the job done fast because of its size but I'm liking it now because it's very portable and can fit small pouches. Check the photo down below to see how it compares to Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki Brush.

As you can see, the brush has synthetic brown bristles that are densely packed together. I know a few brushes which are as dense so I already got a picture of how it would perform. The ferrule is sleek and is colored purple and the black handle is more like acrylic than bamboo. It looks and feel sturdy despite the fact that it's light and tiny.

The brush head is small and is slightly angled so it doesn't feel awkward on the skin. The bristles are so soft and I guarantee that no hair will prick the skin. The small brush head is very useful in a way that it fits the smallest and corner parts of the face such as sides of the nose, eyes and temples. The flat surface deposits product to the skin in an even coverage. It's the perfect shape to buff foundation to the skin in stippling motion to create an airbrush finish.

This brush picks up real good amount of product and deposits it to the skin without streaky lines. The perfect way to use it, for me, is by doing the dabbing motion so in a way, you are not exfoliating the skin or opening up the pores. The brush is small and dense, you can expect that it's also hard to wash away makeup trapped inside.

If you are looking for a good quality foundation brush that can be used for any formulation, Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush is something you ought to try. I just don't reach out to this brush more often than I do with my Morphe's and Sigma's but whenever I travel, I know that this is what I'd pick up. The size is useful but a little more surface to the brush head would do the job faster.

By the way, Shiseido has a drugstore counterpart named the Shiseido 131 Foundation Brush which looks very similar except for the color of the ferrule and handle and possibly performance. Some says the high-end one is more dense and blends foundation better than the drugstore variant which should be the case. I haven't tried that one out yet but I'm excited to.

Have you tried Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush? Any thoughts?

What To Love and Hate About Zalora Philippines

We all know about Zalora and how it's been dubbed as one of the leading e-commerce sites we have in the Philippines. Being a reputable brand, I think it's normal that we expect a lot from it from product quality and customer service, to shipping and delivery. I've been shopping from their site way back in college and that's where I get branded clothes for discounted prices. With me thinking I know Zalora even with my eyes closed, I've come up with a few things I love and hate about the business.

Starting with the good...

They are an authorized dealer of authentic branded pieces. They carry different brands whether luxury or local brands and you can choose from over thousands of items to complete your daily OOTD.

Sales are everywhere. There's always sale going on on top of already discounted items.

They have wide selection of products from fashion to beauty. They do not just sell different fashion finds, they also have accessories, makeup and skincare items which is nice because our skin is the best thing we can wear.

30-days unconditional return and exchange policy. If something does not fit, or you just suddenly had a change of heart, you can simply return an item by dropping it off at any select 2GO or LBC branches or have it picked up from your doorstep. Do take note that this process may take up to a month before you receive your refund. On the brighter side, you can also file for an exchange if you think you just need a better-fitting size.

Swift shipping and handling. Items arrive in good condition, securely-packed and transit time is short. You'll get both text and e-mail notification about the status of your order.

Express/Next Day Shipping has been made available. Zalora had this what you call as Free Express Shipping. Basically, you are entitled for the free next day delivery feature for one full year for only P500. I believe this feature will be automatically added to your cart when shopping and you have the option whether to remove it or not. I took advantage of this last January when they offered full rebate.

***How to take advantage of this? Pay an extra P500 upon checkout and wait for the e-mail 1-2 weeks regarding the status after purchase. Zalora will send you rebate in an increment of two (2) P250 worth of voucher codes that you can use at the webiste with no minimum purchase required.

Different modes of payment available. You can opt to pay through Paypal, credit or debits cards, GCash or even Cash-on-delivery. The choice is yours!

User-friendly website and application. Shopping at Zalora is very smooth. You can filter categories by size, color, brand, price, etc so you won't have to go through thousands of items if you are only looking for a specific product to buy. The only times when troubleshooting is needed is when they are on major sale and the site is crashing like crazy.

Ending with the bad...

Price and availability glitch. I had my worst buyer experience with Zalora. The first time was paying for two (2) Beauty Blenders. Everything was okay until they informed me that only one item has been shipped as they ran out of stock. Also, there was a time when I bought a maroon Nike cap (originally retails at P1,300 on the website) and they had this coupon that entitled buyers to 35% off. Thinking this is a really exclusive deal, I eventually carted the item and paid only P845. Upon receiving the item, I saw the original price tag indicates the item is only P900. Even with the 35% discount, I felt like I was deceived. You can only imagine my frustration. I could have gotten it for a much better deal had it been priced accurately, don't you think?

Poor customer service. Replies from customer service takes time too. Not only particularly to this situation but I had this problem even before. For the scenario mentioned above, I did reach out to them for a resolution. The customer service representative I spoke to said that they would give me a discount code as a compensation for the inconvenience and later on retracted her words, saying that I should just disregard the e-mail sent and that I just had to return the item for refund. Is this how you're supposed to treat a customer? I don't think so.

Does not cater to petite body sizes. Since I have really small body frame, I just hope that they would sell more XXS-XS items since most of the clothes I love from the website have limited size available.

With all these in mind, I can tell that the pros still outweigh the cons so I'm pretty sure I'll still shop at Zalora. I've thought of writing this because right now, I'm eyeing a Nike shoes that I'm planning to buy on payday. :D What's in your recent Zalora haul?

St. Ives Exfoliate and Nourish Apricot Oil Scrub Review

St. Ives Exfoliate and Nourish Apricot Oil Scrub
Bought for: P434
Bought from: Watsons

I've been seeing this St. Ives Exfoliate and Nourish Apricot Oil Scrub in many advertisements whenever I browse online. The curious in me wanted it so badly so I made sure to buy one on my previous trip to Watsons which is way back last year. Hah! I've learned to manage my Watsons spending a long time ago. :D Anyway, I trust St. Ives Scrubs so much, I even repurchased the regular Blemish Control Apricot Scrub a dozen times before, so it did not take much convincing on my end when they released a new scrub variant.

CLAIMS

Our iconic exfoliator meets the nourishing, yet makeup-melting, powers of pure grapeseed oil in our face oil scrub. This oil scrub infused with our signature apricot extract (100% natural, of course!) leaves you with soft, refreshed skin.

 HOW TO USE

(1) Shake and squeeze a small amount (dime-sized is a good start) of Apricot Oil Scrub into *dry* hands, (2) Next, rub hands together to distribute oil evenly around palms, (3) Massage gently onto face (again, *dry*), (4) Now, add warm water, continuing to massage in small circles to emulsify the oil. Once it turns milky white, rinse with warm water and lastly, (5) When you’re done rinsing, pat dry with a towel and admire your soft, glowing skin!

INGREDIENTS

Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Hydrated Silica, Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum), Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil.

This product has very few ingredients and I appreciate the simplicity of its formulation. It makes me think that I'm putting lesser chemicals on my skin. This product is composed of 100% natural exfoliants such as Walnut Shell Powder which is carefully milled to be gentle on the skin and Apricot Fruit Extract which has a lot of skin benefits.

A quick Google search and it leads me to St. Ives official site and I read somewhere that Apricot is great for wrinkle reduction, moisturization and better skin tone which is why it's a primary ingredient among all of their scrubs. Aside from the fact that the fruit itself taste good, it's also great to be taken both orally and externally (through skin care products).

PACKAGING

The scrub is housed in a squeeze bottle that I find travel-friendly and economic to use. The cap shuts tight with a click and the bottle itself is sturdy. It also displays all necessary information such as claims and skin benefits, ingredients, directions for use, expiry dates and a lot more.

SCENT, CONSISTENCY AND EASE OF APPLICATION

The scrub has a strong fruity scent of Apricot which I kind of like. However, it's strong enough that those who are very sensitive to scents may find it overwhelming. It even reminds me of car fresheners that usually make me feel nauseous when fragrance combines with car motion. There's just something about it that makes me like it overall.

The scrubs are suspended in oil formulation and I know you get the picture. It provides deep exfoliation so you have to be careful and gentle as you massage it on your skin to avoid over-exfoliation (leads to skin damage and excess oil). Make sure to apply on dry skin with dry palms or it won't emulsify and turn milky white, leaving you a greasy layer that's hard to wash off afterwards. I learned this after a couple of tries (silly me!). Once you get the hang of it, you'll realize that it's very easy to use.

PERFORMANCE

Overall, it's a good scrub to keep skin soft and smooth. The beads are slightly abrasive so you have to be extra careful. The oils are effective in melting away skin's impurities and the scrubs seems to buff away roughness, revealing a brighter complexion and younger skin cells. I just don't think I'll use it alone as a cleanser. I still prefer to do a second cleansing with a facial wash because I feel like there's still grease and dirt left as it's not able to wash away all makeup completely (especially the waterproof ones).

Others may find scrubs like this too drying because of the deep exfoliation factor but for someone like me who has oily skin, I feel like it's just suitable. The huge amount of oil helps hydrate skin and get rid of the taut and dry feeling after exfoliation. If you are leaning toward the drier skin type, you may have to slather moisturizer afterwards to make up.

I like St. Ives Exfoliate and Nourish Apricot Oil Scrub because it's a good value for money and does its job in revealing a more youthful, radiant complexion. It's not a comparison review but if I am going to recommend which variant is a better investment, I still would recommend the regular St. Ives scrubs as those are less abrasive and complicated to use. Nonetheless, scrubs from St. Ives are still game changers!

Derma-C by Poten-Cee Vitamin + Collagen Brightening Soap Bar Review

Derma-C by Poten-Cee Vitamin + Collagen Brightening Soap Bar
Bought for: Free with points | SRP: P112/90g
Bought from: Sample Room

I am not really into lightening soaps because I find them too drying to the skin. I only resort to using them whenever my skin turns a tone darker from swimming or doing something outdoor. It's the only way for me to bring back my skin's natural color together with religious use of moisturizers. When I heard about Derma-C by Poten-Cee Vitamin + Collagen Brightening Soap Bar coming to Sample Room, I immediately carted it with my points and use it right away. The fact that it has both Vitamin C and Collagen intrigues me. I know that when taken orally, these two are really effective in bringing out the skin's natural glow. And I am yet to find out if external application would do something too.

CLAIMS

Derma-C Brightening Soap Bar contains Natural Vitamin C, Camu Camu Extract, and Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) that naturally whitens and brightens your skin. It is infused with 7 natural oils for an increased moisturizing effect: Sunflower Oil, Jojoba Oil, Sulfated Castor Oil, Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and Grape Seed Oil. It has Collagen and Vitamin E that nourishes and moisturizes your skin, leaving it smooth and soft. Formulated by Korean skincare experts, Derma-C Brightening Soap is hypoallergenic and has been dermatologically tested for all types of skin.

PACKAGING

It comes in a cardboard box with detailed information about the product. Claims, ingredients, usage, manufacturing and expiry dates are printed. Once opened, there's still an eco-friendly pouch that houses the soap itselfvery hygienic and safe indeed.

PERFORMANCE

The soap comes in pale yellow color and is rounded in shape. It's also huge and bulky so I'm pretty sure it would lasts for quite long. It has a mild, fresh scent and lathers richly once applied. What I appreciate most is that unlike other soaps, it does not loses it's lather even though it's sunken in size and most of it are melted/used.

Every time I took it out to bath, I feel like my skin is well-cleansed but isn't dry and taut. Other brightening soaps strip off the skin's natural moisture while trying to exfoliate it. I didn't experience anything alike with Derma-C by Poten-Cee Vitamin + Collagen Brightening Soap Bar. Thanks to the 7 natural moisturizing oils it's made ofthey seem to work! My skin is softer and smoother after washing and indeed, with religious use, I notice my skin restoring a brighter and more supple complexion.

If you are looking for a soap that does not dry out the skin and is great for skin maintenance, this could be the answer to your woes. It will not lighten your skin significantly but I noticed my chickenpox scars (on my upper back and front torso) decreasing pigmentation while using these. I think it's working best with the use of  the Poten-cee Vitamin C + Collagen Supplement that has great dose of nutrients beneficial to the skin too.

A bar may sound crazy at P112 (when other lightening soaps are already on BOGO deal for that price), but it definitely will last you a long time. I had this for like a month before I finally ran out.

You can grab a sample by visiting Sample Room or grab it at any leading drugstores and supermarkets nationwide.

February 2019 Product Empties

Here's to another month of productivity and by productive, I meant being able to finish (some) products that I pried open the past few months. It's productive in a way that I know every penny I spent did not go to waste. Do you have this kind of mentality? I don't know, I just feel so delighted emptying something and looking forward to trying more. Anyway, here's everything I'm finally letting go this month!

Hello Gorgeous Glowing Peel Gel Review

Hello Gorgeous Glowing Peel Gel
Bought for: Sale price | SRP: P250
Bought from: Hello Gorgeous

I am not really into peeling gels because I have this mentality that the product itself and function is quite deceiving. It makes us think that we're really sloughing away our own dead skin cells but in reality, it's just something about how brands formulate the product to react when it touches our skin. I can be bored at times so I don't mind using something I don't believe in. Exploring and trying out new products, whether promising or not, is part of learning. Little did I know that this peeling gel from Hello Gorgeous would actually impress me.

CLAIMS

A skin-refining gel that helps reveal a clearer, radiant complexion. It gently exfoliates with special molecules; works to buff and lift away impurities; firms as it softens, smoothens, and brightens with Glycerin, Aloe Vera Gel and Extract and Vitamin C; leaves your complexion with a healthy glow. It is perfect for revealing newer, younger skin.

DIRECTION FOR USE

Placed a few pump on your palm and apply to freshly cleansed, dry skin. Gently massage onto the face in circular motion. Rinse with water.

PACKAGING

The product comes in a typical plastic pump bottle which is hygienic and convenient to use. The font and graphics make it look so cute and unique though. I am really impressed with how Hello Gorgeous designs their packaging. It also contains all necessary information about the product such as claims, directions, ingredients as well as the manufacturing and expiry dates.

I know you might react with the expiry date printed but I bought and use this some time last year. Put it this way: my review is overdue. This is what I dislike about HG products though. Their shelf life is very short and I didn't also appreciate them selling old stocks. I didn't think much about it before because I'm pretty sure I can consume it all before it expires. I was wrong. I couldn't exfoliate everyday so you can only imagine how a bottle is suppose to last for months.

Here's the thing. HG products is good for a year. However, the graphic indicates that it's still good for 12 months after opening. It's quite confusing, don't you think? Unless HG is intentionally over-stocking, it's impossible to sell all bottles in just a month after production. Anyway, this made me think that the product is still safe to use for a few more months as there isn't any significant difference with the texture, scent and performance.

SCENT, TEXTURE AND EASE OF APPLICATION

It comes in a clear gel form and doesn't smell of anything fragrant. It sort of becomes watery once applied to clean, dry skin and you will feel your skin kind of turning rough. That's when you start rubbing gently. The overall process is very quick and easy. Rinsing the product won't give you a hard time too.

PERFORMANCE

The photo below is my left wrist where I had some foundation swatches left. I didn't  thoroughly clean/wash my skin prior so I can test its cleansing and exfoliating abilities. It didn't disappoint! Foundation clung to the 'dead skin' and they also act as physical scrubs that deep-cleanse and softens skin. After I rinse it, I feel like my skin is squeaky clean and bright because it absorbed deep-seated dirt and excess oil. I also felt my pores tightening whenever I use it. It's really safe and gentle for exfoliation, even milder and less abrasive than regular face scrubs. Just don't forget to moisturize afterwards. Using it religiously will really make skin clearer and radiant-looking.

If you are looking for good, affordable peeling gels, try this one from Hello Gorgeous! It's only P250 and will surely last you a while!

Flatten That Zit Quickly With Althea Korea Spot Film Gel

Althea Korea Spot Film Gel
Bought for: Free | SRP: P240/15ml
From: Althea Korea

I rarely get huge pimples. I mean they do come very often but they are usually in small sizes and in clusters. They are hard to get rid of unless I squeeze and pop them out which isn't something I'm proud to recommend. DO. NOT. POP. YOUR. PIMPLES. Or you'll be left with more problems like scarring and blemishes and more breakouts. Whether you getting pimples because of bad skincare habits  (too much sebum and dead skin cells) or genetic factors, there's always a way out. In my case, I make sure to keep some pimple patches in my stash in case a huge spot appears out of nowhere. See, popping is not your only option!

Today, we're gonna talk about Althea's Spot Film Gel which is something I reach out so often these past few weeks because of my bad skin. As an Althea Angel, I'm given the privilege to get first dibs on Althea exclusives. They gave it to me as an insert when they sent out boxes filled with their new color makeups. So what's in it for us? Keep on reading!

CLAIMS

Another spot? Banish it like magic with Althea's Skin Relief Spot Film Gel! This zit-zapping treatment is a revolutionary formula that applies thinly onto the skin before drying down to a smooth canvas, protecting the area and allowing for makeup to be applied on without a trace! It contains tea tree oil to quickly and effectively treat acne, while a mix of Centella and pine leaf extracts calm redness, treating acne while you’re out and about. Say bye-bye to bulky, unsightly pimple patches and hello to flawless skin!

PACKAGING

Product comes in a small white and mint cardboard box which is simple but very appealing to the eyes. I like the neat packaging and I would appreciate it more if there's like an English translation of everything that's written on the box. Just thinking about it though, there isn't enough space.

The product comes in a tube and a domed cap and dispenser which is quite unique too. I'm kind of used to the pointed ones, if you know what I mean lol. Checking the expiration date, I can see that it has a lengthy shelf life.

KEY INGREDIENTS

This product is formulated with notable ingredients like Tea Tree Oil (known to treat acne because of its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties), Centella Asiatica Extract (helps revitalize skin's protective barrier) and Pine Leaf Extract (reduces inflammation and redness and is rich in antioxidants to repair skin). Aside from that, it also has Fig Fruit (great source of enriching vitamins, antioxidants and minerals), Algae (known for its therapeutic benefits and also works to hydrate, soften and detoxifies skin), Eclipta Prostrata (has potent antioxidant and skin-calming properties), Rosemary (protect skin cells from damage and works as a disinfectant) and Sansevieria Trifasciata Extracts (analgesic and antipyretic) as well as Niacinamide (improvement of skin tone), Glycerin (skin moisture booster) and Salicylic Acid (treatment of acne) in good concentrations.

HOW TO USE

Ensure the area of the skin is clean before application. Gently squeeze to dispense a small amount of product, then apply a thin, even layer onto the targeted area using either your finger or the applicator. Allow to dry completely before proceeding with makeup application. Wipe away any excess product off the applicator before replacing the cap.

SCENT, TEXTURE AND EASE OF APPLICATION

This product smells like glue and has the consistency and texture of such. It has a clear gel texture that's quite sticky and dries down to a translucent patch very quickly. It's also easy and convenient to use as unlike other pimple patches, you can easily customize its thickness and size.

As per claim, this can be applied underneath makeup. You may think that's very smart because the patch can protect the skin from external pollutants and infection. I just don't think I'd use it for that purpose though because the patch easily comes off  just whenever you move your facial muscles. Also, you can't use a buffing brush to apply foundation because it will come off as dead skin. You have to use a sponge in a tap-tap motion to make sure the patch stays in place. Also, you can't use any matte products on top as it can be emphasized as dry skin. There's no problem using it at night because who cares how you look, right?

PERFORMANCE

So I had this huge, painful zit in the middle of my chin which happens very rare. It used to be pinkish red, painful and bulky but after four nights of continuous application, redness subsides and it's barely noticeable anymore. I also think that the product help avoid any scarring that the breakout may have caused. I am using this product whether the zit is tiny or gigantic because this film really flatten them out in no time and provides instant relief with its cooling sensation. It does not dry out breakouts overnight but I like it for it shortens healing faster than usual skincare (without spot-treating) can do.

This has become another favorite of mine and I'm glad Althea Korea made me try it. 15ml tube will surely last me a long time as a little of it goes a long way already. If you are looking for an affordable spot treatment, don't think twice and get this at ph.althea.kr for only P240. Let me know what you think once you tried it! Happy blogging!
