Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Skin Transforming Foundation in Classic Ivory

Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Skin Transforming Foundation in Classic Ivory
Bought from: Chedelyn Cosmetics
Bought for: P480

So, I have this holy grail foundation in my stash. Can we keep it in the name: Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Skin Transforming Foundation? To know why I love this, please keep on reading.

When my boyfriend and I went to Pop Culture, Trinoma to visit Chedelyn Cosmetics last June (whoops, I already have this foundation for like, 4 months), it was not in my intention to buy this Maybelline Foundation. I was eyeing the Revlon one, but the seller insisted I get it along with the Milani Conceal + Perfect Foundation because she said it's better. And so I was sweet-talked into buying both. Now, I regret even regretting buying this because it is so amazing!

The shade that I got here was the Classic Ivory (120), perfect because I usually purchase classic ivory in most foundation shades. Still, there are times when I get a different shade especially if Classic Ivory is not among the options. Please be reminded that I am not an expert in getting the right shade (I am so sorry huhu) so most of the time, I had to ask the seller which fits me best. By the way, I have a fair complexion with a yellow undertone. I think it's partly luck that this Classic Ivory feels and looks like my skin.

Like most foundations, Maybelline Better Skin Foundation is stored in a glass bottle with a blue plastic pump. Sometimes, there is something wrong with it as it feels lose and its sometimes kinda hard to dispense product. Sometimes, I have to pump twice or thrice to get my desired amount. But at least, it does come out, right?

I guess the most intriguing part about it is its claim to make your skin better-looking after days of continuous use. I mean, who else bears the same claim? I won't trick you into buying this by saying that this claim is true. No, it does not make my skin looks better in a span of a month, not even after using this once in a while in four months. However, it does not cause me zits, nor any skin imperfections probably because of the Salicylic Acid content. Also, I did not consider using it just because of this kind of claim, but because it is such a nice foundation that would back you up every freakin' day!

Are you aware that I have oily skin? If you are having the same, oh well, this is extra plus for you as it dries fast and is matte! This does not exactly delivers a flat matte finish unlike the Fit Me variant though. This one still feels hydrating and moisturizing despite being formulated oil-free. On the other hand, it may not be for those with dry skin or those who undergo peeling as it tends to emphasize dryness.

The formula is very lightweight and offers light to medium coverage. It is so easy to blend as well. In my case, a drop-sized amount would be sufficient for my whole face. Longevity wise, I would pretty much say it did pass for that matter as it can withstand humidity in the country for a good 4-6 hours without retouch. Well, I don't really do retouch, just a few blotting papers and loose powder to absorb excess oil then I'm good to go.

Overall, I love Maybelline Better Skin Foundation! And I highly recommend it to those with normal, combination to oily skin types. It dries matte, easy to blend with up to medium coverage, long lasting, has no pungent smell, affordable and hypoallergenic! I swear, this is one of the best drugstore foundations that I have tried!

Feel free to share your comments down below. Til my next post! Happy blogging!

CP-1 Ceramide Treatment Keratin Silk Injection Review

Hi guys! Just because I have been on the mood to write, I'll be reviewing CP-1 which I got from Althea on their birthday last July. By the way, my apology for being inactive huhu. School works, as usual.

Anyway, CP-1 comes in a very simple, kinda long, clinical-looking packaging with a twist-able cap. It's got a pointed nozzle so dispensing product is not messy rather easy. It is also perfect for travelling because of its flexibility and small-sized packaging so space won't really be a problem. However, for a 20ml product, don't expect that it will run long. On a brighter side, it is so cheap that you can hoard for as many as you like without breaking the bank.

This product claims to hydrate and protect the hair with powerful ingredients that are proven to be effective in caring for our precious manes such as Keratin, Amino Acids, Elastin, Wheat and Protein.

When squeezed out, a translucent, a little bit runny product will come out. A dime-size is already enough for my mid-length mane. If you want your hair to have more moisture than it needs, you can simply add some more and it will dry to keep your hair lightweight and moisturized all throughout the day. However, do not over apply as it could make you hair greasy at the end of the day (because my hair naturally turns greasy easily probably because it is straight and according to study, those with straight hair tends to have greasier hair than those with curly ones in a period of time.)

The scent is lovely, I can't really determine the particular fragrant but it smells nice and it lingers for a few hours after application. With continuous use, you will notice that your hair will become softer, smoother and healthier looking than ever before. I also noticed that when I apply it on my ends, it would hinder it from having flyaways and split ends.

Overall, I love CP-1, it is so cheap yet so effective in eliminating or reducing the hair imperfections such as dryness, coarseness, and other hair problems. I highly recommend it whether you have dry or oily scalp and hair. Til my next post. Happy blogging!

September Beauty Finds

Hi guys! Just to give you an update, yes, I am still into blogging lol. We just had our first topical defense earlier yesterday and our topics got approved! It’s just the beginning but our hearts can’t seem to stop rejoicing! Due to thesis, documentary and other stuff, I sometimes deprive myself from blogging to maximize time. So yeah, I gotta make up even just at least slightly. Today, I am going to share to you the beauty finds my generous sponsors sent me recently and which are subject for future reviews. I got few here but, whatevs. Lol.

Addicted To You send me their Pretty in Pink Face and Body Blush (P275), Miracle White Glutha Lotion (P250) and Snowwhite Skin Intense Whitening Lotion (P250). I am such a huge fan of lotions so I felt like I was sent to a heaven receiving the package! By the way, if you are a major fan of instant whitening lotions, better get these two!

This brand send me their Gluta Body Scrub (P350), Ultimate Whitening Soap (P150) and Body Butter Cream (P450). I tried everything last night and they were all good. The scrubs are perfect for face use, the soaps smells nice, suds richly but super drying and the body butter is so moisturizing. Love them!

I am not really familiar with the products they sent me but here's to what I believe they are! I think the first soap is the "Sore Muscle" glycerin soap 55-60g and retails for P65.00. The one with a pump is a  warming massage serum (P139) especially useful when you have body pains.

The last thing I got was only a freebie on Shopee when I bought my favorite lotion from this shop (Ultra Tone and White) which smells uber nice! I got the bottle at a discounted price with a free product! Wow!

So those are the things that I got recently. Til my next post! Happy blogging!

As much as you can indulge yourself with coffee breaks, you can also use coffee-infused products to awaken your senses during bathing. Gone are the days when you have to mix some ingredients that can be found on your kitchen to have some naturally healthy treats. Because nowadays, they have been made ready by organic advocates such as Bellxue. Since they sent me their best-selling coffee scrub, here are my thoughts about it!

The scrubs are housed in a seal-in black plastic, almost like a ziplock without the zip of course. When used, you will have to transfer some products on containers to avoid getting soaked from the shower. The sticker label is also very informative and creatively written in the point of view of the scrub itself (Oh pak, pati yun napansin lol :D) Anyway, if you are very particular with labeling, description, directions, ingredients, etc, then you will appreciate this.

When you lay the packaging open, you will immediately catch a whiff of strong coffee that you may want to mix it with boiling water. Seriously, it looks and smells like your instant coffee! And this is, by far, the only coffee scrub that I have tried na hindi tinipid yung coffee granules! Because most of the body scrubs I have tried were mostly composed of synthetic exfoliants.

The scrubs are dry but not like other exfoliators that feels really dry. At first look, you will know that it has essential oils and other moisturizing stuff mixed with the scrubs. With it, you can exfoliate without worrying of getting your skin dry. Because of the moisture it has, it does not feel really harsh on skin. Despite its abrasiveness (which at first I don't like and which I started liking), it feels so good when you have this as buddy during bath time because it would effectively wash away the dead skin cells on your skin that has been accumulated from day's pollutants. What you will achieve afterwards are super soft and smooth skin! Grabe mga day, sarap amuyin at hawakan ng balat! With the oils in it, you won't have to apply lotion but feel free to do so because you will just thank the scrub for making your skin firmer, softer and smoother even at first use!

Overall, I love this! So much! A little of this would go a long way already so expect to finish the product for months! Definitely, you woll get more than what you pay for. Even at first use, significant results can be already seen. If you are looking for an affordable and effective coffee scrub, I highly recommend Bell Xue Wake Me Up Coffee Body Scrub! Til my next post! Happy blogging

Kate Tokyo High Grade Cover Powder For Cover in Natural Beige Review

Kate Tokyo High Grade Cover Powder For Cover, 8.5g
Bought from: Given by my aunt
Available in: Zalora
Price: P900

The High Grade Cover Powder for Cover from Kate Tokyo is a loose powder that prevents unwanted shine and fading. It is designed to create long-lasting make-up and the illusion of smooth skin.

- Pressed powder
- Creates a smooth finish
- Prevents shine and fading
- Comes with a sponge puff

As you can see, I was not able to include box photos and I did not even know if the product has a box because it was given to me by my aunt as is. And I would like to apologize for not taking pictures of it first hand back when the packaging was still free from scratches or evidences of mishandling lol. Anyways, the packaging is very simple given its price--it does not even have a compact mirror inside! The puff is actually a bit unusual because you know, I really expect that it comes with a sponge (like how powder foundations mostly do) but I don’t think this powder would work the same. Now, I prefer the puff even better than the sponge even though it absorbs more powder.

By the way, I do have the shade in Natural Beige if I am not mistaken. I am not really sure if this has other shades because in Zalora, you only have the Natural Beige as option. It’s either it’s your shade or make it. Actually, since it has a strong yellow undertone and looks tad darker than my previous foundations, at first, I thought it was not for me but I guess it just had a strong adjusting capability (what?) which makes it ideal for use for anybody.

Whoops soooo…this product is made in Japan. If there’s Korean-craze, there’s Japanese too! If my memory serves me right, this is my first time trying out a high-end Japanese makeup brand. I can’t really make out what is written at the back of this compact powder so if you read in Japanese, kindly tell me what’s in it. Lol.

Sorry if I already used the puff before when it’s still fresh but it’s just too close (but darker) to actual shade color which my camera fails to capture with the product on pan. And kindly note that it's the accumulated liquid foundation I have on before applying this powder. I am using Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-In-1 Foundation + Concealer in shade No. 2 which is tad darker than my skin tone. Oh no, I did not use the same liquid foundie over again and just decided to sell it on Shopee. Really, the shade No. 2 (Natural) is not for me.

What I like most about this powder is its finely-milled pigments that is ultra-light when worn and would give your skin a very soft, smooth and healthy-looking skin afterwards. I would not say that it offers a full coverage, just a light one actually. However, it applying liquid foundation underneath is advisable if you opt for a flawless finish. Just tap a little of this powder over to make it last a long time and prevent cakiness. This product applies seamlessly, does not look very foundation-ish, cakey or anything like you have makeup on. On lazy days, I would just apply my toner, sunscreen, this and off I go! Certainly, it gives your skin a better look, keeping it matte and shine-free for long hours.

The photo below shows the swatch of this product. I have super oily skin that really oils up even after a few minutes that is why it is really important that I always keep with me a dependable powder foundation that will keep me shine-free and matte all day. Apparently, I can’t stay shine-free like the whole day (one factor is the humidity in the country) even when I am provided that most effective matte powders. My sebum production does not really work that way so retouching every now and then is a must. What I think the criteria should be how it keeps me looking fresh again after oiling up too much. And tell you what, Kate Tokyo High Grade Cover Powder seems to be really good at it. And please, do notice my pores! They are really noticeable on the first photo but using the powder seems to lessen its appearance as seen on the second photo.

Overall, I love Kate Tokyo High Grade Cover Powder! It does not have any off-putting scent, does not break me out, applies very thinly and smoothly without looking cakey, cover mild imperfections and large pores, is travel-friendly and keeps skin looking supah fresh! Love love!

Casamara Kojic Whitening and Bleaching Soaps Review

Bleaching and Kojic Whitening Soaps
Bought for: Free | Original Price: P135 (BS), P150 (KWS)

Hi guys! Here's a review that has long been overdue. Lol. Introducing Casamara Bleaching and Kojic Whitening Soaps! And I am since born a soap junkie and even though it takes a while to finish one, being trusted by brands is both a commitment and a debt to be as accurate and as honest as possible as I can be. This is why I always make sure to use the products they sent me and give a credible point of view after the roadtesting. I had to use both of these soaps on my face and body and now, here's what I think about it.

Both of the products has mild scent to it. You can smell hints of Kojic in there but it isn't so overpowering, hence won't be a problem if you are a scent-sitive. Oh my goodness, did I invent a word? Okay I like it! Hahaha! Simple packaging is what I see right now with these plastic and sticker paper. By the way, for your reference, here's the ingredient list.

Claims: (Kojic Whitening Soap): Helps lighten skin tone and gently peels to eliminate skin pigmentation and blemishes for a fairer, lighter complexion.

Ingredients (Kojic Whitening Soap): Virgin Coconut Oil, Distilled Oil, Glycerin, Citrus Fruit, Vitamin C, Kojic Powder

Claims (Bleaching Soap): Eliminates skin pigmentation and blemishes, helps lighten dark spots, promotes soft and smooth complexion, helps lighten skin tone

Ingredients (Bleaching Soap): Virgin Coconut Oil, Distilled Water, Glycerin, Arbutin, Vigna Aconilifolia, Lactic Acid

I like that both soaps suds well so cleansing the skin is easy. However, because they lather so richly, they tend to be so drying on the skin too. Don't you know that soaps that lathers richly are more drying than those which do not? Yup! Soooo, make sure to apply heavy moisturizers afterwards. You don't want your skin to age prematurely, do you?

I can't really distinguish the difference between Kojic Whitening and Bleaching Soap. Aside from drying and rich lather, they also cause micropeeling when used overtime. That is why, I want to use them both at the same time during bathing. After the micropeeling, I noticed that my skin looks a lot healthier, softer, smoother and more radiant. This is perfect for those who want to lighten their skin complexion the natural way! But again, do not forget sunscreen as exfoliation increases your skin's sensitivity to the sun, o'right?

And by the way, there is the Casamara name embossed on the soap. Hoho! Overall, I like both the Bleaching and the Kojic Whitening Soap because they do deliver fast, safe and effective results. If you are not allergic to any ingredients mentioned above, I highly recommend you to try this duo. They work!

Katrina's Clothing Carrot Health Soap

Carrot Health Soap
Bought for: Free | Original Price: P69

Familiar with HTP Clothing? It's hard to keep up with my blogging kasi nakikipag-unahan ako sa pag 'mine'! Hahahahah! Sorry guys! I just had to deal with my impulsiveness again. Huhuhu. For your information, HTP is an online shop on Instagram that produces exclusively sewn pieces of clothing. They have that certain quality that is why when they post an item, you have to compete with their other fervent buyers in commenting 'mine' and the usernames who first commented under the number of stocks they provided will get to have the items. It's my first time so I am really excited lol. I think I won some lol. Anyway, I am not paid by htp for this! Hahah!

Why am I blabbing again? So tonight, I am going to review the Carrot Health Soap which were given to me by Katrina's Clothing! Yey! Thank you so much! I did not try it immediately and now I regret it. Never would I expect that I would grow fond of it. Woohoo, cats are curious!!! Here goes nothing!

As you can see, the packaging is very simple. It comes with a box with a slightly holed corner right there (the carrot part) which can look like a carrot when the soap is left inside. Very cute! It does not radiate impact on first look, you know, but burn me! It was such a precious bar of soap! It is so strong and opaque. In fact, you will find it hard to even cause some slight molding to it. Heck, is this made of stone? Kidding aside, you will definitely love its staying power! Really, it's a superman to wetness. It stays hard even on wet soap dishes even after a long period . Amazing, isn't it?

For your own reference, I am going to put the indications, directions and facial therapy down below! And guys please do read and get amazed!

Indication:
Carrot is macrobiotic. It is an herb of great therapeutic power. An herb filled with Vitamin A proven superbly effective not only to fortify or restore eye tissues and to prevent cancer-related diseases. But likewise, potent food for epithelial tissues. Thus, it is highly recommended for cuts or wound, burning skin allergiessuch as scabies, ringworms, white spots (AP-AP), prickly heat, blackheads, stubborn pimples, skin aging, destitute of scalp hair dandruff and 24 hours body protection from emitting offensive smell even after sweating.

Directions:
Wash with carrot health soap thoroughly then rinse. Wipe with clean towel then apply the same carrot health soap on affected part. Leave the suds to dry and repeat application the following day. For dandruff and destitue of scalp hair, use regularlyas shampoo during bath. See healing results in two-to three days.

Facial Therapy:
Wet and rub carrot health soap on hands and apply the suds gently on fce and allow the herb to nourish it for at least two minutes. Then rinse with water. See for yourself and witness the slippery look while drying gently with towel on the mirror. Experience healthy skin results in minutes.

Gosh, I never thought I would bow down to a soap. All their claims are true. Have you encountered any soap for the hair and skin that is as effective as a 69-peso worth of soap? Me? Na-uh. Like ever. Yes, it suds pretty much heavily but it is not like super drying on the skin. In fact, it has that familiar silky feel like Dove Soaps. I thought I was just imagining things on my head but when I read the description--mind you, it's just now when I am writing this--I was left dumbfounded! It's true! I have been suffering from pimple breakouts the past few days because of school works, lack of sleep, poor eating habits and stresses but two days of using this almost removes bumps on my face! This is to say that it is the only soap, so far, the I used on a whim but did not trigger adverse skin reaction! Usually, when I suddenly change my skin care routine, zits would eventually pop out no matter how effective they could be on the succeeding days of usage but with Carrot Health Soap? Skip the zits and proceed to a softer and smoother skin! For the dandruff, this one is also a life-saver, spared me for the ever-dreaded dandruff!!! I swear to anyone, I love it! Please let me have you forever!!!

Okay, I have been acting crazy for the past hour just because I can't help myself admiring this bar of soap. For only P69, yes P69, you can have this bar that is so effective in addressing your skin and even your hair's concern! I still can't get over with it! Please let me know when you decided to buy one! I put the link of the shop above on the description part, just click it and you will be directed to the page! Til my next post! Happy blogging!

Zenutrients Gugo Strengthening Hair Serum Review

Zenutrients Gugo Strengthening Hair Serum, 40ml
Bought for: Free (only 250 points) | Original Price: P499
Bought from: Sampleroom

I'm trying my best to be as productive today as possible so after doing my thesis, I'll be blogging about another product which I got from Sample Room! Had you read my previous Sample Room-related blog posts, you will know that I love purchasing free stuff from them (shipping fee not included but all items are!) Yey! Familiar about the Zenutrients Gugo Strengthening Hair Serum? You can get it on Sampleroom for free! I don't understand why someone would think twice if you are about to get a steal! You will just be needing some account with 250 points and this, at your doorstep!

Claims:
Zenutrients has combined five of nature's most well-known ingredients that fight hair thinning and hair fall - Gugo, Jeju Aloe Vera, Green Tea extract, Tea Tree and Eucalyptus essential oils. Gugo has always been popular in the Philippines as a proven organic remedy for stubborn dandruff, hair thinning, and even eczema. Jeju Aloe Vera is one of the best multi-vitamins for your hair and scalp. With as much as 75 nutrients, 20 minerals, 12 vitamins, 18 amino acids and 200 active enzymes, it’s the natural cure for many skin and health problems. With healthy hair follicles, it is easier for nutrients and minerals to reach the roots to make hair long, thick and strong. Green Tea extract has catechins and polyphenol that help strengthen roots and activate hair follicles that promote hair growth and re-growth. Tea Tree oil can help get rid of bacteria and fungi. It also helps wash away dead skin cells that help unclog pores for a healthy scalp. Eucalyptus oil is nature’s cleanser. With its antifungal properties, it helps ward off infection, restrain residue build up and unclog the pores on the scalp. This power combination is made into a super serum that helps you fight hair fall and hair thinning by restoring scalp and hair strength.

How to use:

  1. Massage into the scalp and affected areas in the evening, and then wash off in the morning.
  2. Apply again to the ends of your hair after washing when hair is still damp, to prevent split ends and breakage.

Ingredients:
Purified Water, Triethanolamine, Aloe Barbadensis, Carbomer, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Green Tea oil, Eucalyptus Essential Oil, EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Gugo Bark

I hate to repeat this but this Zenutrients Gugo Strengthening Hair Serum is full of active ingredients that has been traditionally known to cure hair problems like hair fall! I said this before already that I thought I was lucky to have an okay hair, meaning it does not feel dry or coarse and it can easily be tamed. On the contrary, I had this huge problem with hair fall. I have been with it since day one. Well, probably. This is why I am so scared that I would have to prematurely suffer baldness anytime. That is sooooo...off. Haha!

Uhm, who would not agree if I say that the packaging looks posh because of the heavy glass container, plastic pump and fragile cover? Aside from being not so travel-friendly, the pump is kinda hard to maneuver because every time I squeeze, the product does not come out real quick. I do not know if the problem is the dispenser itself or the gugo fibers that I presumed to be blocking the bottom of the pump. Hmmm. For display purposes, this looks really good but unfortunately, isn't travel-friendly. It's got all the information you would need as well such as the description, instruction for use, ingredients, manufacturing and expiry dates as well as proof of authenticity.

See the gugo fibers?  Actually, it makes up almost half of the content so expect only a little amount of hair serum to be consumed. Sad. And oh, by the way, have I already talked about the scent? It has that familiar Eucalyptus scent which I really love! It does not have this kind of strong scent which makes your hair smell minty all day huh. Just enough to fragrance your manes. Kilig!

This is how the product looks like when dispensed. A little runny and is translucent in shade which goes smoothly when applied on her. It does not feel anything sticky or what, just expect your hair to feel soft, smooth and healthy all day. For a P499 peso 40-ml-pump-bottle, I think this is really expensive. It does not like noticeably lessen my hair fall but applying it every day and night for weeks, I always get volumized and thicker-looking hair the next day upon waking up! Using it continuously for months, I believe would yield favorable results though.

Overall, I would say that I like this, This can be your leave-on conditioner that is light, non-sticky and made up of natural ingredients so no harm has to get done. However, I would be hesitant spending that huge amount for a next bottle so...I think I am up to the journey of finding a cheaper alternative. Who's with me? 'Til my next post! Happy blogging!

Leiania House of Beauty Wild Herb Argan Skin Peel and Green Actives Review

Leiania House of Beauty Wild Herb Argan Skin Peel and Green Actives
Bought for: Free | Original Price: P600+
From: Leiania House of Beauty

Exfoliation through peeling is the most effective way to remove troubled layer. When you allow your skin to peel, a fresher layer will peak through. However, you shall not use it often as frequent usage may result to unwanted outcomes like thinning of skin, changes in skin color or hyper pigmentation, sensitivity to sun, and excessive skin drying. On the other hand, using it properly under correct duration (one month exfoliation, one month healing), directions and precautions, will yield favorable results.

One of the advocates for safe skin care is the Leiania House of Beauty and because they are generous enough to send me samples of their products, I would like to thank them for sending me these Herbal Peel and . Being a supporter of products which are composed of organic and natural ingredients (I'm in fact slowly tweaking my routine to cruel-free skin care products), it is a pleasure to be one of those few bloggers to be entrusted to review these. For that, thanks Ms. Favia!

In terms of packaging, the complete labeling of the products from description to directions and ingredients is intelligent as consumers will have something to rely on for information. By the way, for your own convenience, may I present to you the list of ingredients and directions in using this product.
So why is Leiania House of Beauty proud of their products? If you can just see, most of the ingredients are they plant-derived, organic-infused, cruel-free, safe and free from harmful chemicals. Go na kayo mga bes, bili na!

Kidding aside, this duo is a champion. Aside from gushing about how healthy these products are, I would also want to be a living testimony as to how these change my perception when it comes to skin peeling. I have tried Maxipeel before, it was so good but eventually, your once troubled skin will come back after a few weeks. That being said, I know we all want something that would give us permanent great results without the abominable side effects. Using these duo as compared to Maxipeel, I could say that this one is less effective in giving the skin that whiter and fresher glow. However, the procedure is harsher, peeling, redness and drying are more excessive to the point that I would not want to show my face to anyone anymore. Leiania House of Beauty, on the other hand, caused no redness nor post-pain effects. Compared to other products, this one has gentler formula as experienced.

The directions actually seems blurry to me because one use according to it will already make my skin peel. I did not experience the same thing on first use though. However, your face will feel taut afterwards so moisturizer is a must. Doing the same thing the next day makes no significant effects as well except excessive drying and super slight hint of redness. Again, please put on moisturizer and a lot of sunscreen. After another day of use, I stopped and the next days you would see micropeeling effect, removing all those dead skin cells revealing a smoother and brighter complexion underneath. In my case, I noticed the peeling unstoppable for 3-5 days. I think every pain is worth it. Para gumanda minsan, magtiis ka. Lol.

As you can see, it has an oil-like consistency with those tiny grains which I believe helps in exfoliating the skin. Combining it with the powdered herbs makes it more ideal for scrubbing. So you sort of scrub and exfoliate with this. The unique thing about these products is that they sort of work like masks which you only need to mix (oil and powder) then apply on your face. Next thing is allowing the mixture to be absorbed by the skin depends on your pain tolerance. In my case, I can withstand it for as long as the stinging sensation subsides. Just be careful applying it on the most sensitive parts of your face like eyes, corners of your nose and mouth because it could hurt like hell.

Overall, I like this. Drying and redness would stop after the peeling. Again, you will need sunscreen! I highly recommend this duo to anyone becuse it has a gentler formula than other exfoliating solutions that I have tried. It could be a bit pricey but it's worth it. By the way, just got home from two days stay in San Miguel, Bulacan for our documentary. I had to type this review during our travel. Kayod mga beks!  Til my next post. Happy blogging!
