Quick and Easy Process of Requesting CENOMAR and Other Certificates Online

I didn't even know such thing as CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage) existed until my mother required me to get a copy from PSA (used to be NSO) for housing loan purposes. Being too idle to brave long traffic and queues in this scorching heat in a ber-month, I decided to look for alternatives. I searched online about what CENOMAR is and whatnot and then I came across the PSA website and through further exploration, I stumbled on a page where there is an option to request for a copy online. I did more research and though I confirmed online request is possible, there's barely enough information on its step-by-step process and testimonies whether online request is really a successful and efficient option. So here's me - I'm gonna share what exactly transpired in this yet another of my risk-taking transactions online.

Months ago, I already shared with you a post about NBI Clearance Quick Renewal Delivery and I was overwhelmed with how people reacted and thanked me for posting the actual process. I thought that maybe sharing with you the online process for CENOMAR and Birth Certificate will be as helpful and informative. If you are someone like me who does most things online, better not skip a line!

I'm taking the time since introduction has been quite long anyway and it seems like you are reading forever. But just a disclosure, I don't have much knowledge about CENOMAR and apart from my own personal reason, there's probably more stuff you can do with this paper. Googling it or doing a quick search like 'What is CENOMAR?' will be very helpful. Lol!

APPLICATION PROCESS

STEP 1. Go to www.psaserbilis.com.ph. This is not the official website of PSA but an online facility for submitting requests. Here's what you will see:

STEP 2. Click on the link that says 'Click here to request now'. It will route you to the terms and condition page. Read and click 'Accept'.

STEP 3. Contact and delivery information page will be displayed. Here, you will have to fill out your shipping information so make sure to type in the correct details of the addressee, address, telephone and e-mail address (this is important so you can receive notifications). Delivery schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday except holidays.

For requests for delivery within the Philippines:

PHP 330.00 per copy for Copy Issuance requests
PHP 430.00 per copy for CENOMAR requests

For requests for delivery to other countries:

USD 20.30 per copy for Copy Issuance requests
USD 25.30 per copy for CENOMAR requests

STEP 4. After filling out, click 'Next'. Then you will be directed to the consent/confirmation,  disclaimer and acceptance page. Review your shipping information then press 'Confirm'.

STEP 5. You will be routed to the Requests Summary page. Here, you can now choose which document to request. Options are birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate and CENOMAR. Just click on your option and you will be redirected to the next steps.

STEP 6.1 FOR CENOMAR. You will be asked to fill out necessary information in the Add Request page such as your name, sex, place of birth, date of birth, father and mother's names, and purpose. For the purpose of the request, choose any from the drop down box. Click 'Save' then a pop-up box will appear. You will have to read through it and press 'Confirm' if everything's correct.

STEP 6.2 FOR BIRTH/DEATH/MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES. You will be asked two questions before you get to the Add Request page.

STEP 7. You will return to the Requests Summary/cart page. Review what you placed on it as well as the grand total. For additional copies, expect additional charges. Press 'Submit'.

STEP 8. The system will generate a Batch Request Number for you. You will use it for the payment and delivery. The grand total will be P430 for the certificate and issuance fee. During this time, you will receive a copy of the acknowledgement form through e-mail. Make sure to check.

STEP 9. You will be required to print two (2) copies of the acknowledgement form if you opt for bank payment. Since I don't want to print anything, I just paid through credit/debit card through the website.

STEP 10. Once you click on 'Pay online via credit card now', you will be routed to a secured payment channel. Just fill out you card number, expiry date, name on the card and CVV (3-digit code at the back of your card). You will receive a notification both on the website and e-mail once payment has been confirmed. It's usually right away so be sure to check when you're debited.

STEP 11. That's pretty much it. You just have to wait for a few days to receive the copy. I placed a request last September 09, 2019 and got the document by September 29, 2019. That's only 4 days! If you cannot wait that long, you have to apply in person at any PSA Serbilis Center near you.

DELIVERY AND TRACKING

If you want to track the status of your request, go back to the home page and look for this (photo below). Type in your batch request number, hit 'go' and there you'll see the status.

Example:

So that's pretty much it! If you have any questions or suggestions, don't hesitate to reach me via these channels or simply reply down below so I can get in touched with you faster! Thank you for reading!

Althea Korea Watercolor Cream Tint Swatches and Review

Althea Korea Watercolor Cream Tint (4.5ml)
Price: P940/set | P260/piece
Bought from: Althea Korea

I am so excited to share with you my review for these Althea Korea Watercolor Cream Tints! It's been a while since I stopped using tints because if you read my previous blogs, I'm very particular to lip products. I always get chapped, dry puckers from using such and it's even worse with lip tints. But then, we, girls, cannot resist beautiful things, don't you agree? So today, I am sharing with you my thoughts on these Althea Korea Watercolor Cream Tints which I already talked about during a makeup tutorial I did last February. I only had snippets back then so it's now time to make a full review dedicated only to this particular set.

CLAIMS

Get deliciously juicy lips with Althea's Watercolor Cream Tints! These pretty tubes give you the best of all worlds with the pigmentation of a lipstick, the long-wearing power of a stain and the moisturizing formula of a gloss. Bold, pigmented and equipped with a pretty sheen, these lippies contain hyaluronic acid and squalene to prevent chapped lips from flaking, perfect for stashing in your purse for easy touch-ups and comfortable wear. Pick from 4 different shades to suit your mood!

PACKAGING

It comes in black cardboard box and has information written only in Korean. I really do hope they will start revamping it as I don't read Korean. The tints itself looks really cute. It comes in a matte black cap and a transparent plastic material so you can see the actual color from the inside. The rectangle shape appears even more interesting and unique than those in tubing. These are travel-friendly and I also like the doe foot applicator as its functional and hygienic.

Althea Korea Watercolor Cream Tints come in four (4) shades namely: Plum Cream, Strawberry Cream, Peach Cream and Marron Cream - all sounds so delicious and yummy! They smell like candies too!

From top to bottom: #01 Plum, #02 Strawberry, #03 Peach, #04 Marron Cream

TEXTURE, PIGMENTATION AND EASE OF APPLICATION

These tints have watery consistency and is quite jelly-like because of the sheen finish. Despite the thin consistency, it leaves a very strong color payoff. In fact, one dot is enough to give the entire lips a pop of color. That is safe to say that a little goes a long way. A few more can give a pigmentation of a lipstick. After moderate drinking and eating, I'm amazed how there's still a strong stain of tint left. These tints last for hours and I swear by it.

PERFORMANCE
I've never tried a tint before that's so cheap at P260 a piece and but works so great. It can be drying but nothing a good lip balm can fix. The good news? You can use the code BFFTINTS when you shop at ph.althea.kr to get two (2) tints for the price of one!

I truly love these products and it's a proof that Althea Korea never disappoints. It's very easy to do ombre effects with these tints because they settle on the lips quite fast and is very buildable. I just don't think it will make a good cheek tint because again, the color payoff is really strong and they settle quite fast when in contact with the skin, giving you minimum time to blend. I hate to be bias but my favorite among all 4 is the Plum Cream and it's what I always carry in my purse. Nonetheless, the other shades are great too!

Marc Jacobs The Face II - Sculpting Foundation Brush No. 2 Review

Marc Jacobs The Face II - Sculpting Foundation Brush No. 2
Bought for: P2,647 or $48
Bought from: Sephora Philippines

I've always wanted to own a Marc Jacobs brush. It's one of the high-end brand I always look up to so when I got the budget, I immediately purchased a bestseller from their brush collection - The Face II - Sculpting Foundation Brush No. 2. I thought it over and over whether I'd get the The Face I, II or III (it was a hard decision, mind you) but because of the reviews and suggestions online, I settled for the No. 2. And because it's accompanied with a heavy price tag, I couldn't help but expect a lot. I know you are too so without further ado, let's start with the review! ***Okay I didn't expect it to rhyme hehe.***

CLAIMS

Cream Formulas. Full Coverage. Perfectly Poreless.

This innovative powder foundation brush has a smartly angled brush design lets you sculpt your foundation into a perfectly flawless finish. The Face II sculpting makeup brush enhances the application and finish of Perfection Powder, but can also be used with liquid and mousse foundations.

The Marc Jacobs foundation brush's innovative brush designed with oversized top allows for application and blending at the same time. The tapered bristles perfectly blend foundation, without leaving streaks or uneven spots. Can be used with other liquid foundation products.

This brush came with a sleek black cardboard box. I threw it even before making this review because I forgot that I'll be making one lol. My bad. Anyway, I love the black and silver look of the brush. The handle is sleek, sturdy and very easy to grip though a lot has been complaining that the print can be easily rub off. I had mine for like a couple of months or more, the pictures were taken just last week so the condition is very recent. I've washed it pretty much every single time but I didn't experience such. I'll wait and see after a few more months. What I would suggest is to always use mild soaps and gentle hands. Do not over-cleanse or rub on it so it would not remove the print.

The brush has an over-sized head that makes the job gets done a lot faster. It's also designed to be angled and it also has a domed head that's dense but still fluffy enough to move the foundation and distributes it in an even manner. The bristles are black then goes white on top and they are amazingly soft, nothing scratchy at all. It's overall flexible so you can really get into every nooks and corner of the face even with a large head like that.

The brush has a weight to it and I personally think that the weight actually adds to its precision. It buffs makeup onto the skin with less effort to give a skin-like finish. I'm used to dense buffing brushes that I can move in circular motion. But because of its unique brush design, you can only apply foundation either downward or sideways or just like how you would with a sponge which can be awkward at first. I got used to it though.

I've washed this brush a lot of times and I'm happy that this one doesn't shed like crazy. It also retains its shape even after several uses. I didn't have problem with staining too as it cleanses very well with my Beauty Blender Liquid Blender Cleanser.

Overall, this is a great foundation brush if you care less about price tags. If you are looking for a more budget-friendly alternative, go for Real Techniques Expert Face BrushMorphe M439, etc which are my all-time current favorites.

Zoeva #104 Buffer Brush Review

Zoeva #104 Buffer Brush
Price: P938
Bought from: Sephora Philippines

Here's another brush review I got years ago but never had the chance to talk about here. It's an item I got from a brush collection that I purchased from Sephora.ph way back 2017. I liked it before and just stopped using after I adopted too many brushes from different brands. I saw this one time as I was cleaning my collection and decided to reused it and well, just like the old days, it's still beautiful and functional.

CLAIMS

Dressed in remarkably dense, but soft synthetic hair, the Zoeva 104 Buffer achieves an incredibly natural-looking and flawless makeup finish. Perfect for an all-over application and impeccable blending of foundation, powder and mineral makeup, the flat top brush head easily picks up any kind of cream, liquid or loose textures without absorbing the product.

The 104 Buffer is a vegan foundation brush with a flat profile, great for applying and blending powder and mineral makeup. Its bristles pick up both cream and powder makeup without absorbing, making even makeup distribution possible for a flawless finish.

This brush comes with a chrome handle with shimmery design and a silver ferrule. Brush handle is short but the body itself is quite chubby. It reminds me of Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer and Sigma F80 Kabuki Brush (brush top) combined.

The brush head comes in two-toned synthetic bristles which is very dense and flat. This makes it a great buffing brush whether you are using liquid or mineral products. It's also very soft and non-scratchy. The only thing I don't really like about it is that it sheds a lot. I'm not sure if I got a bad stock or this happens in general. Good thing, shedding is only evident during bath time and not during makeup application. It would be really annoying having to pluck out hairs while doing your makeup routine.

As I have mentioned, I knew I liked it so much before that I kept on using it for almost any base products I own. It works and blends makeup very well with zero streaks. It also gives medium to full coverage. It was left untouched in my vanity area when I got introduced to other buffing brushes like the Morphe M439 BufferSigma F80 KabukiReal Techniques Expert Face BrushShiseido Perfect Foundation Brush, Sedona Lace Flat Top Buffer and many more. I like buffing brushes, just so you know. ;)

This is purely vegan so the bristles are synthetic and is soft to the skin. They say that synthetic bristles are better for liquid products but it works for powders too. It blends makeup seamlessly and I couldn't say anything bad about its performance. It's truly worth investing in! The price is steep for a single brush so I would suggest you get an entire set so you can save more. Not only you're able to save some bucks, you will also discover other great brushes from the brand!

NYX Professional Makeup Pro Fan Brush #6 Review

NYX Professional Makeup Fan Brush #6
Price: $17 (around P900)
Bought from: NYX Philippines

Here's another brush review from the drugstore brand - NYX. It was ages ago when I tried one of the NYX brushes and I didn't like it for the fact that the bristles were coarse and the brush is way too flimsy. I'm so happy because they are truly doing the best they can to level up their makeup game by improving not just their makeup formulations but the tools as well. Here's a review to the most favorite brush I've tried from their professional collection so far - Pro Fan Brush #6.

CLAIMS

Gear up like a pro and add your own expert touch to every look with the NYX Professional Makeup Pro Fan Brush – a dense, velvety brush for creating a flawless, smooth full coverage finish. Creates a no makeup look without streaking. Also works great with powders to give an effortless highlight on the highest points of the face. Made with synthetic fibers.

This brush is truly gorgeous wherever I look. The sleek black handle is looking great. The brand's name is printed in clear, crisp font style. The matte black ferrule is sturdy enough to hold the brush head and handle intact for a very long time. When I first got it in the mail, I was so impressed with the brush considering the amount that I paid. I got it on sale for only more or less P400. That's about half off the US site's regular selling price.

The brush hair is made of two-toned synthetic fibers that are super, super soft. I've said it over a hundred times but I love and am only keeping brushes with soft bristles. When I got this, I immediately tried it and I'm not getting a brush with a hair or two that scratch the skin. Compared to other fan brushes, the bristles are greatly packed together - they don't shed at all and they are dense enough to form a diamond-like shape as you look from the top. Because of its shape, I find other uses for this brush other than highlighting. It works well as a powder contour - it blends the color well, giving a diffused, subtle dimension on the face. I sometimes use it as a powder brush because it fits the corners of the face. You can also use it as a dusting brush to dust away excess powders or pigment fallouts on the skin. Moreover, because of the size and shape, this is a great body brush too.

NYX Professional Makeup Pro Fan Brush #6 is indeed a remarkable brush from a  drugstore brand. I like that I can use it for multiple purposes so that makes it a great keep. The high quality bristles and functional design made it even better. It does what it's supposed to and has a great blending power.

Piel Beauty PH Intensive Underarm Whitening Set Review

As I was browsing online and looking for an organic, water-based deo, I stumbled upon this set from the brand Piel Skincare. I'd like to support local brands and it's ideally one of those fast-growing, reputable shops we have in the Philippines. I assumed because there are loads of purchases and great feedbacks that was built from quality and honesty.

I tried googling and I wasn't able to find a full review for this particular set (other than the shop's rating page) so I think this may be a good chance. Hesitation was inevitable at first because as a beauty blogger, I know that some only become a hype for great marketing even though the products were not good enough. Some posts hoax reviews and falsified claims - you know what I mean. In short, in the online world, it's very easy to deceive and get deceived.

This set isn't exactly an impulse buy. I made sure to read some of the thousand ratings available before I finally carted and paid. Also, I was looking for a good maintenance cream and a deodorant that is fast-drying and generally, these matched what I was looking for. It's pricey for P1,050 a set but it's kind of a practical buy considering you get a total of 3 items.

CLAIMS

The new and improved formulation made even better! No more underarm worries with Piel! Whiten, freshen and renew your underarms the Natural way. The set is good for 3- 4 weeks depending on your usage.

Inclusive of: Piel Underam Toner (50ml) - this serves as your deodorant and removes dirt not removed by your ordinary soap. Intensive UA cream (10g) - prepares your underarms for rejuvenation. Use for 7 days only. Perfect Smoothing Cream (15g) - renews your skin while you sleep 100% effective and safe even for lactating or breastfeeding moms. (Always consult your OB 1st for consent before using any whitening products)

STEP 1 - INTENSIVE UNDERARM CREAM

This is the first step and you have to be careful because you can only use this cream in the first 7 days. This works like a bleaching cream only with zero peeling. It claims to to be the #1 Exfoliator that will renew your underarms from within and will continuously exfoliate your underarm's dead skin cells to aid in smoothening out.

The Intensive Underarm Cream comes with 10g of product inside and it's good exactly for a week as long as you use it day and night. It's recommended to do just that, so product will really penetrate and work its wonders. I did what I was told and it's true, my skin felt smoother afterwards.

Cream has a bouncy consistency and I like that it dries fast without leaving a sticky residue. It doesn't stain white clothes too. It's isn't exactly a deodorant but I'm amazed how it keeps me odor-free the entire day. Cream itself smells subtly of chemicals but goes away after few minutes.

Using it for the first 7 days, I noticed that it leaves white marks and it settles on the folds of the skin. Make sure to clean your underarms well. During this period, my skin feels more sensitive to friction as it stings a bit especially during cleansing. I kind of expected it as it means that it's actually working to exfoliate the skin. Just make sure not to over-rubbed at this period to avoid further irritations.

STEP 2 - UNDERARM LIGHTENING SOLUTION

This is the easiest to use among the 3 products as it works like a toner and a water-based deodorant for the skin with extra whitening benefits. I use it every morning after the 7th day. It claims to keep the underarm dry and odorless for as long as 24 hours. This is quite true. I like that it's very easy to apply and that it gets absorbed by the skin quickly too. It doesn't feel sticky or uncomfortable at all.

It's instructed to use this product with a cotton. You have to dispense an appropriate amount and then gently rub on both underarms. You'll be surprised how much dirt will show up on the cotton ball! It definitely will remove remaining dirt and oil that your ordinary soap weren't able to remove. The only thing I probably find off about it is the fact that it's so small and steeply priced that it only lasted about less than a month. I don't mind repurchasing though. They have a website but I prefer buying on Shopee retailers so I can take advantage of some discounts and free shipping. They run out of stock quite fast so I buy right away every time they restock.

Now, here's to the last and final step!

STEP 3 - PERFECT SMOOTH UNDERARM CREAM

This is the 3rd step that claims to smoothen out bumps or chicken skin in as early as 2 weeks, leaving it flawlessly smooth like baby skin. This product is what I use during night time before sleeping.

This cream has 25g of product inside that I think will last you for a while. You don't have to use a lot as a little goes a long way. The opaque white, mousse-like consistency will actually give your skin a brightened appearance which may look ghostly and awkward when you put too much.

I like this product but one thing I find off about it is that it also settles in the folds of the skin and the stain is really hard to get off especially when you sweat. It's best use with the Underarm Lightening Solution and a cotton ball in order to take it off. That bothers me because frequent scrubbing is actually irritating. If I do it everyday, my pits would feel sore.

Good thing, the cream is quite easy to blend (with proper amount used) and it dries without any stickiness too. It gives an illusion of a brightened skin but goes away once cleansed. Though good thing, regular using of this cream will actually make skin soft and supple.

VERDICT

Depends on the color of the skin, this may take a few months to see significant effects. I've been using mine for exactly a month and I haven't seen much lightening because IT. FREAKIN. TAKES. TIME. Miracles don't happen overnight. I still see some hyper pigmentation but my skin has improved a lot in terms of its texture. I still have a few left but for back up purposes, I already repurchased the set from the retailer and is waiting for it to arrive at my doorstep. All I can say right now is that this set will really benefit those who are looking for something to smoothen out and improve the overall look of the skin. With regards to its lightening claims, I will update you from time to time of the progress.

Update: After finishing another 2 sets, I don't think my underarms have lightened significantly to be honest. I still have hyperpigmentation and there are areas that still need some lightening so it would look even. However, using this set maintains a smoother appearance. I think these products are really good in exfoliating and buffing away roughness on the skin. I stopped repurchasing because I think that other deodorants that are slightly cheaper can do the same thing in just one step. I'm liking the ones from Deonat. They are smoothening, hydrating and keeps me odor-free all day too.

Also, I feel like the 3-step underarm skincare is taking too much time. You know the feeling of investing too much but you're not getting anything more than what you invest? That's exactly my feelings right now. I know that it's a personal preference but it's just how I see it.

I am glad I've tried this set and that it didn't cause me any harm, but since I prefer simpler and cheaper skincare, I wouldn't be repurchasing for a while.
