Last Minute Gift Ideas: Personalized Perfume Bottles from Chemiscents

Welcoming July with such amazement for the products which I will be featuring today! Yay!

I have always been a collector of perfumes, even colognes. I always wanted to smell fresh, 'yung tipong walang magsasabing ang baho ko o amoy-pawis ako lol. C'mon I am a blogger! I actually don't mind the brand as long as I love the scent. Plus, fragrances are good gift ideas, much more if they are customized! Introducing Chemiscents Personalized Perfume Bottles!

Chemiscents Personalized Perfume Bottles, 50ml
Price: P250/ea
Bought from: Chemiscents

Each bottle retails for only P250 inclusive of photo and names (at the bottom). I told the seller to include our names in the bottles. Maybe she forgot and it made me a bit frustrated still, I liked it overall. The scent which I picked for myself is the Incanto Shine while for my boyfriend, I chose Bvlgari Extreme. They claimed to sell EDP (Eau De Parfum) Fragrances with high-end perfume labels but I really doubt it. They are more like EDT (Eau De Toilette) versions or probably imitations since the fragrances seem to be neither too strong (less concentrated) nor THAT long-lasting considering the names. Also, it is so affordable.

I planned to give it to him before he flew back to Spain last Friday but I wasn't able to hand it for some reason. Nonetheless, it could wait til his birthday! Yay! Hahah! I also commend the seller for the fast and smooth transaction--I thought the customizing part will take days to finish but it did not! Still looking correlated to the idea of chemistry and scents! Love love!

Ugh, the perfumes look quite adorable. My friend said that it looks narcissistic to order items with your face on it, but who cares! Ha! :P

If you are looking for perfect gift ideas that is for everyone, this might be what you are looking for! 'Til my next post! Happy blogging!

Banila Co Prime Primer in Classic Matte Review

P.S This post has cartoon-ized pictures because I had been experimenting with my cam. Lol.

Banila Co Prime Primer in Classic Matte, 30ml
Bought for: (P1060) P530 at 50% off

I have been eyeing Banila Co Primer since last year when everybody's gushing about it and exactly the time when I started being a makeup enthusiast. They say that it was the best primer in Korea and being a believer of  K-beauty, I started saving up for it but I always ended up not buying it because affordability wise, it's kinda pricey.

So when I figured out Althea has it, I stalked it. It retails for a lot lesser price but still a bit pricey for a cheapskate like me and on the second month of June (if I am not mistaken) I found it inviting since it was on sale on top of its already sale price! I felt like it's one in a lifetime opportunity, so without hesitation, I grabbed it along with some other essentials I personally picked for myself.

With all the makeup available in the market, I believe that primers are the most taken for granted. Lots of people aren't aware on its use that's why they buy lots of foundations or eyeshadows without even thinking of the one thing that makes them last a longer time and lets them pop out.

I am not a fan of silicone-based products and the first thing that comes to my mind by that are primers so yeah, I once was really one of those who tends to skip base and proceeds to foundation or BB creams immediately. The thing was, I tried to understand what I had been missing out and finally ventured into primer world before I call myself a super late bloomer.

Without further ado, here's my review about Banila Co Prime Primer in Classic Matte.

Claims: (1) Sebum Controlling Power. Boosts up the skin tone and maintains the natural complexion with deep moisturizing effect from eco herb water complex. (2) Prevents oily gloss by absorbing excess sebum. Replenishes skin texture with instant hydration that minimizes pore imperfections as well as completing silky smooth skin surface. (3) Matte primer which helps to maintain all day makeup. Instantly corrects complexion corners including dullness and redness that creates vibrant youthful skin complexion.

With clean satin-finish formula that minimizes the appearance of shine, pores, and fine lines, and creates a smooth, uniform canvas for flawless makeup application. Recommended for those with large pores and uneven skin surface.

Well, let's just see if this product really lives up to its promises.

If you are an engaged follower of mine, I bet you know that my skin type is on oily side. Banila Co has variants to select on depends on your skin type: Classic (for normal people, kidding!), Hydrating (for dry skin), Classic Matte (for me joke!), Hydrating Shimmer, Anti-Wrinkle and Purity. The last three are not available for orders in Althea Philippines. And. I chose matte of course because they are intended for gals that tends to get shiny most if not all the time.

The product comes in a hard translucent plastic bottle with a pump so I'm pretty sure you won't find a hard time dispensing the product. I like it this way too because we can preserve the freshness and cleanliness of the product since we can't touch it and of course, we can control the amount that we want to use.

The product has a gel-like texture and is thin and runny in formula and consistency (the texture is very similar to Maybelline Pore Eraser and Quick FX, the difference is in the consistency) and in fact, turns liquid-y when applied on skin. You won't see if it's already dried as it disappears easily so make sure to allot time for it to set so the foundation or bb creams won't mix with it and create clumps. It also has a faint scent to it which is not bothersome at all. It does not create a tacky feeling but feels very lightweight, you'll hardly feel it on your skin. It does not turn like flat matte, instead it feels velvety too. However, when applied with heavy moisturizer under, you could still see that there's dewiness peeking through. So if you really opt for a shine-free finish, skip off heavy moisturizers.

As far as I know, primers are pore-fillers too. That is to say that Banila Co Prime Primer should act out as one. The thing is, it does not do its job to even slightly make my pores look smaller in size. The circumference of my pores is still obvious even when dabbed with this primer. I can't help comparing it to Benefit Porefessional. There's slight brightening effect though and it offers an uber flawless canvas to start painting on. I like that I still can feel my skin even underneath this primer yet it shields my skin from becoming overly-exposed to makeup.

I am having an issue with breakouts these last few days. I got pimples on my jaw and cheek area which, yes, can be attributed to a lot of factors like poor sleeping habits, school stress and problems, hormonal imbalance (I just had finished with this month's period), skin care (which is proven to not be the problem) and other things but I cannot just ignore the fact that I got them exactly the moment when I started using this.

Another thing I like about this primer is how it prevents the easy breakdown of foundation I have on. Despite all the negatives I pinpoint about it, at least it's true to its function. Normally,  my face base lasts for only a few hours because of my super oily skin which seriously contributes to easy meltdown of makeup but with this primer, I proudly say that it stays all day with slight retouch of powder and blotting papers/tissues. I can't also complement its oil control ability. I put it right now and I get oily easily in just a matter of minutes. Not really exceptional in that field.

By the way here's some more description written in Korean just in case you can read it (I can't! Huhuhu). I am not supposed to include it but yeah, for your reference, here is it!

Just a little reminder, avoid applying even a little over the top as it can form white clumps when rubbed. A little goes a long way and that's how it should go.

Will I repurchase? To be honest, I find this question a little hard to answer. I have been in a love-hate relationship with Banila Co Prime Primer in Classic Matte and everything weigh in balance but it's safe to say that I might repurchase if it's in its discounted price because I don't think it really deserves to be priced that expensive and its spot as the best primer in Korea.

Will I recommend this? If you are looking for an okay primer, this will do but I suggest that if you can pay a little extra bucks, you go for Benefit Porefessional. I hate to say this because I can't believe it myself but I think the Maybelline Baby Pores (retails around P300 if I am not mistaken) does better. However, I would still use this primer for the next few weeks to spot what I missed on. I still want to give this product a chance knowing that almost everyone's loving it.

'Til my next post! Happy blogging!

Gluta-C with Kojic Plus+ Face and Body Powder, Soap and Lotion Review

Gluta-C with Kojic Plus+ Face and Body Powder, 40g | P74.75
Gluta-C with Kojic Plus+ Face and Body Soap, 60g | P59.75
Gluta-C with Kojic Plus+ Face and Body Lotion SPF 30, 150ml | P219.75

I am such a fan of Gluta-C products. I mean I tried everything in their skin care line and I must say that I have been a lover of their products since then. So, when I heard from Sampleroom that they are releasing new products in the market in new packaging, I literally felt adrenalized and immediately used my VIP points to avail samples. Fortunately, they came in full-sized at my doorstep. Wow! With that saying, this post will contain my review of the newest Gluta-C products--powder, soap and lotion.

I bet we'll raise eyebrows if we read somewhere that products like Gluta-C powder, lotion and soap contain 4x skin whitening action from Glutathione, Vitamin C, Kojic Acid and Azelaoyl Diglycinate to achieve whitening from four different angles and ensure greater efficacy. What you have heard, as we all know, are powerful skin lightening ingredients which at the same time would spark curiousity then later on, you'll find yourself purchasing those products infused with those. I guess that's what happened to me. I liked it, I bought it. Simple.

GLUTA-C WITH KOJIC+ FACE AND BODY POWDER

According to Sample Room, this powder has the following benefits: 4x Skin Whitening (combination of Glutathione, Vitamin C, Kojic Acid and Azelaoyl Diglycinate, Oil Control and Anti-Acne, Matte Finish, 3x more antioxidants (to help reduce toxins), With sunscreen.

Directions for use: Apply on face as often as desired. For best results, use Gluta-C Kojic Plus+ products to supplement the moisturizing, smoothening and whitening benefit. Use additional sun protection for extended sun exposure. Recommend to discontinue usage of other whitening brands at least two weeks before application to avoid reactions due to incompatibility. Not suitable for children below 12 years old.

The packaging of this powder reminds me of salt or pepper shakers (haha!). Many of my friends joked about it too! To be honest, I love this powder that it sets aside my interest on other powders that I own and use it instead of them. I even put this on my school bag and throw away my previous powders to use for retouch just because I find it really amazing.

The scent is okay--it's not heavily fragranced at all. I am expecting it to smell like other Gluta-C products (which smells like Green Tea I guess and which I love) but it's not. I don't mind it though. The product has a finely milled pure white talc powder that blends easily on the skin. It can create white cast upon application but it's fine since it imparts a bright effect on the skin. The result is healthy, matte skin with that radiant glow. Using it for weeks did not break me out. It does not cause clogged pores, instead it feels compatible with my current skin care which I really love. I give it a perfect 5! Whoo!

GLUTA-C WITH KOJIC+ FACE AND BODY SOAP

According to Sample Room, this soap has the following benefits: 4X Skin Whitening – combination of Glutathione, Vitamin C, Kojic Acid and Azelaoyl Diglycinate, 3X more anti-oxidants (to help reduce toxins, anti-acne, deep cleanses, revitalizes and smoothens, non-drying (essential in protecting the skin), exfoliates gently (for younger, smoother skin) and clarifies skin.

Since the weather is so bipolar, the combination of heat and rain ignites humidity so taking a bath more than once is like a happy time for me. It even made happier when I discovered this soap from Sample Room. It comes in a small sized box with only 60g of product inside (with an emboosed name of the brand on it) but I was amazed that it stays intact much longer than other whitening soaps in the market, still, the best way to store this is to keep it away from wet areas after shower.

This product lathers richly, cleanses the skin well without leaving it feeling dry. It did a great job in making my skin look soft, smooth, healthy and glowing. I guess with continued use, eventually, I would really achieve a noticeably fairer skin. But for now, I would just settle for bright and glowing. For best results though, use a lotion that's SPF-based to protect your skin further from harmful UV rays and darkening. Good thing, Gluta-C also released a counterpart lotion for the powder and soap!

GLUTA-C WITH KOJIC+ BODY LOTION SPF30

Directions for use: Apply on face as often as desired. For best results, use Gluta-C Kojic Plus+ products to supplement the moisturizing, smoothening and whitening benefit. Use additional sun protection for extended sun exposure. Recommend to discontinue usage of other whitening brands at least two weeks before application to avoid reactions due to incompatibility. Not suitable for children below 12 years old.

I had to always question whitening lotions without SPF on it. I mean, yeah, you could wear it and it may lighten your skin eventually but would it really help if nothing shields your skin from the sun? Make sense? The point is, I think whitening lotion and SPF shoukd always come together. Agree?

Good thing, Gluta-C With Kojic+ Face and Body Lotion comes with a whooping SPF30! What do you say, Mr. Sun? Lol. However, be reminded that this product is still a lotion and is not pure sunscreen so we may never know how much SPF concentration we may get from it so the best thing to do is still to stay away from sun's harmful UV rays or in my case, I double up SPF by putting a layer of sunscreen under or above this lotion.

This lotion smells mild too and comes in a completely-labeled packaging. All of Gluta-C products are which OC consumers like me appreciate a lot. The lotion itself is slightly thick and creamy white in consistency and texture but glides easily on the skin without leaving white cast (swatches of photos were corrupted and these were the only ones left btw). All that you will be getting is a hydrated and moisturized layer that glows on every application.

Gluta C With Kojic+ Body Lotion claims to whiten skin in as fast as one week but I know it's not true. However,to be honest, my skin lightened a tone fairer and became more healthy-looking after two weeks of continuous use. be reminded that you really have to religiously use a product to notice substantial effect. I guess nothing really works overnight, eh?

Overall Thoughts

I highly recommend Gluta-C products to everyone because they are affordable and effective for that matter. However, it contains ingredients which may have records of allergy igniters so it's best if you do some patch test first. Also, don't forget to stop using different skin care at least a week prior to using of Gluta-C products to avoid incompatibility problems. And please please please stay away from the sun even when using sunscreen!

P.S. I am slowly switching to cruely-free, organic and natural skin care. The following featured products above, though things I liked because they yield results, weren't able to get through 'my healthy standards'.

That's all, ladies! Til my next post! Happy blogging!

Belo Intensive Whitening Bar (Kojic + Tranexamic + Exfoliating Lemon Scrub)

Belo Intensive Whitening Soap (Kojic + Tranexamic + Exfoliating Lemon Scrubs)
Bought from: Free from Zalora
Price: P59.75/65g

This bar has long been sleeping on my stash of soap. I had myself purchase this from Zalora together with the Belo Essentials AcnePro Kit right away after Belo released this for review purposes. But I went hiatus on using different soaps because I am getting lots of breakouts back then and I assume they were from incompatibility of the current and the previous. By then, I decided I wanted to stick to a certain skin care set first.

I believe this is the latest in their whitening skincare line which triggered my curiosity on its effectiveness knowing that Belo only releases effective products in the market.

As you can see, this soap comes in a bar the same size as the other Belo Kojic Soap except that this one has exfoliating lemon scrubs which makes it a scrub and soap in one. This is best for those who are in a hurry because they can already skip off scrubbing with this bar.

This soap smells okay, well, neither plain nor strong, just okay. It also dilutes easily on wet soap dishes like other Kojic soaps so you better put it on a dry place away from shower after use. This will prolong the life of the soap and allows you to use this for a longer period of time.

Are you familiar with Tranexamic Acid? Well, it sounds alien to me so again, just like what I always do, I conduct a not-so research about it and here's what mcbiotec.com says: Tranexamic Acid is for whitening and preventing pigmentation, inhibiting and improving skin roughness and is safe for pigmentation after sun exposure, dark spots, sensitive skin, acne and inflammation and postoperative care after laser, pulsed light treatment. Okay, now I know. Basically, it's still for skin lightening.

A lot of reviews claims that there were slight stinging and itchiness upon use of this soap. However, I did not experience any of those even both on my face and body. Some also claim that this deliver micro peeling effect. No such thing in my experience. Is it because I do not let this product stay on my skin for minutes? Or am I covered with layers of dead skin cells that the actives in this soap fail to penetrate through my skin? Lol. But seriously, this soap did not sting on me. Although could be a little bit drying so moisturizer is a must. It would be best if you wear sunscreen afterwards as this product can increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun.

After finishing this bar, there was minimal, almost unnoticeable change in my skin tone but I have to admit that it became softer and smoother, brighter and more radiant now than before. I also have to say that this soap is compatible to the lotion which I am currently using and the one which overlapped with the counterpart soap of the lotion (Gluta-C products). For better results though, use Belo Intensive Whitening Bar (Kojic + Tranexamic + Exfoliating Lemon Scrub) in conjunction with other Belo products to avoid incompatibility problems just to be sure.

What I like:

-No sting/itchiness on the skin when applied
-Soap lathers richly
-No redness
-No allergic results
-No micro peeling effect
-Makes skin radiant, soft and smooth right away
-Scent is okay or me
-Affordable at P59.75 for a 65g soap
-Exfoliating with the lemon scrubs

What I don't like:

-A little drying on the skin especially when left for minutes
-Effect can be emphasized if use you use more than one bar
-Melts easily on soap dish

Overall, despite few downsides, I am still willing to repurchase and give this product another try. It's not like this product feels like it cease to exist. I have tried lots of drying soaps but they can be resolved with moisturizers. It melting easily is something which is not new to us anymore. I mean Kojic Soaps melts easily, right? It could probably be their nature. I got used to it a long time already and even if it's one of the things I dislike about it, it isn't an issue anymore. And the effect of products, as we all know, requires patience to be able to see remarkable results. It's not like as if their is an existing product that could lighten our skin overnight and permanently, right?

The point is, let's give some products a chance to be tried especially if you are equally interested because you never know where treasures are! Til my next post! Happy blogging!

First Impression Review: Go Bare PH + Miracle Balm + Oat Milk Porridge Soap

Miracle Balm 40g, P278 (on sale at P250 until July 10, 2016)

Claims: It's perfectly formulated to treat various skin problems. Sealed and properly labeled to ensure product freshness and effectiveness. It has micro-peeling effect that help lighten skin. No paraben. No hydroquinone. No mercury. No harmful chemicals. Made with all natural ingredients. Best for: underarms, chicken skin, scars, stretchmarks, inguinal area, butt, dark spots, knees, elbows, ankle, nape and many more!

Tip: This is best used with their Yellow Marmalade Soap (gentle and no micropeeling effect) or use it with their Mulberry Puree Soap (whitening and micropeeling) for faster results!

A few weeks ago, Go Bare PH sent me two samples of their products--the Miracle Balm and the Oat Milk Porridge Soap. If you are not familiar with Go Bare, they are one of those booming Instagram shops which promote cruelty-free products. Can I just express my amazement to each one of them because they are contributing to making the skin care world a better place. I beg to agree that one day every mass-produced products by large companies will eventually switch to natural and organic ways of keeping every girl beautiful.

The Miracle Balm comes in an aluminum jar with 40g of products inside. The product comes in a blue colored, balmy texture with such scent that I find divine for my senses. The scent is neither plain nor overwhelming, I hardly believe anyone would find it off-
putting.

The packaging has a downside too because it can be pretty much unhygienic when you have to dip your fingers on the same spot in circular manner given the balm's quality to blend hardly since the texture is a bit dry. Hope you can understand what I am trying to say.

I apply this every night to soothe my just-waxed pits (yeah, I bet you did not guess earlier that it can also be used on the underarms huh), to moisturize my it, and to lessen chicken skin which results from waxing. I like that it does not feel annoyingly sticky or I will stop using it. Upon weeks of use, I would say that this balm is effective in lessening the look and feel of chicken skin and works great in smoothing and softening out bumps and roughness. No sign of whitening nor micropeeling however which is just fine because the last time I used a micropeeler on my UA, it just turned darker with layers and layers of unremoved dead skin cells.

I haven't finished the jar yet so I don't have substantial proof to show you whether it did lighten other skin concerns like scars, pimple marks, blemishes, stretchmarks but I will do a full review once I got noticeable results. Comment down if you wanted me to write one!

Oat Milk Porridge Soap, 130-140g (full size), P192.50

The package comes with a sample size of their Oat Milk Porridge Soap which I tried immediately! I like that it smells like creamy milk and butter! Waaaa it tempts me to eat this, to be honest. It also feels so soft on the skin and does not leave it feeling taut or dry. It instead feels moisturizing with its gentle cleansing ability and exfoliating too with the oats.

Another thing that I like about it is that it is compatible with my current skin care. Usually, as I try to include another product in the routine, my face reacts violently through excessive breakouts especilly on the jaw area. Trying this soap is like me gambling. I took the risk assuming that this soap would break me out if used in conjunction with my current skin care, but it did not.

I plan on buying the full-sized but my student budget won't allow me yet and I still have lots of products to try.

Overall, I like the Miracle Balm and the Oat Milk Porridge Soap. They are affordable and effective, you would surely love the results! I highly recommend it to anyone if you are looking for maintenance cream for your underarms and gentle soaps to try! If you want to avail yours now, kindly visit Go Bare PH on Instagram. Til my next post! Happy blogging!

Bioessence Acnetrol Toner, AB Liquid and Sulfur Soap Review

Bioessence Acnetrol Toner with Salicylic Acid, 150ml
Bioessence Acnetrol AB Liquid, 30ml
Bioessence Sulfur Soap
Bought for: P980
Bought from: Bioessence

Last two weeks, I had a free facial claimed from Bioessence Binondo Branch. If you read my previous blog post about my first trip to a facial salon (the title spills everything), you would know that it's my first time I had my visage treated by a facial therapist. As she was doing my face, she kept on promoting products telling my boyfriend and I that I need this and that so my face would heal fast especially after the extraction. I was not supposed to buy her words, mainly because I was not prepared financially and partly because that would be pretty much an addition to my heaps of to-review products and I have the littlest time considering I am doing thesis.

To make long story short, my boyfriend said that we'll get everything that she recommended--Bioessence Acnetrol Toner, AB Liquid and Sulfur Soap. I was internally happy of course, but a part of me tells me that he got those because I looked horribly red and blemished and he thought nobody needs them better than I do. Lol. Anyway, let's proceed to the review proper.

Bioessence Acnetrol Toner with Salicylic Acid

Claims: The newest generation of facial toner, formulated to improve the quality and texture of the skin. It helps restore your natural PH balance making the skin healthy and glowing.

Ingredients: Salicylic Acid, Water, Ethyl Alcohol, Resorcinol

The product comes in a blue tinted plastic bottle with 150ml of product inside. It also has a cover that opens and shuts with a click. I actually thought it's safe from spilling or product evaporating because of the tight cover but it's not. I sometimes felt wet spots on the bottle, meaning liquids come out. So the best thing to do is to always make sure that it is properly sealed and to place it upright to prevent spilling. It also got a strong hint of alcohol so it evaporates fast--another reason to pay extra attention to the packaging.

We've heard Salicylic Acid so many times and I bet everyone knows it's mainly for the prevention an healing of acne/pimples. However, the Resorcinol sounds like alien to me so I had to research on its benefits and here's what it says according to everydayhealth.com: Resorcinol works by breaking down rough, scaly, or hardened skin. Resorcinol also disinfects the skin to help fight infection. Resorcinol topical (for the skin) is used to treat pain and itching...also used to treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, seborrhea, corns, calluses, warts, and other skin disorders.

Using it for a course of two weeks, I had to say that I really love this toner. It gently cleanses my skin, removes deep-seated dirt and traces of makeup on the pores. It also dries fast and to a matte finish so I don't look dewy (oily in my case) to think that I just got off from the bath. Haha! It also does not sting my face nor cause anymore redness. Some people might receive allergic reactions from using Salicylic-infused products but not me. There was no painful feeling or sting whatsoever.

Bioessence Acnetrol AB Liquid

Claims: Contains concentrated Clindamycin antibiotic for a more intensive treatment of pimples, severe acne, and other infected skin disorder.

I am actually in awe with all the clinical-sounding of Bioessence products in the Acnetrol Skin Care. As usual, Clindamycin sounds unusual for me again so I researched a little about it online and here's what google said: Clindamycin is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It is an antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for virus infections.

The packaging is similar to the toner with the blue-tinted plastic with enough details like descriptions, direction for use, ingredients, etc. It has a combination of alcohol and sour smell on it (if I am not mistaken) which is not bothersome at all.

It does not specify that it is a spot treatment but I use it as such as recommended by the facial therapist. After toning my face, I would then apply as small amount on a tiny cotton pad/buds and dab the formula on troubled spots. According to her, this is for the fast-healing of the pimples, blackheads and whiteheads where I just had some extraction on.

On first use, it really made my skin look firmer as I tend to apply this mostly on the wholeness of my face where I had breakouts on every corner. It dries to matte too, meaning, there's no any trace of dewiness.

Bioessence Sulfur Soap

The soap smells strong because of its sulfur content which is bearable. And through the years of acquiring new knowledge about skin care, one of which is learning that sulfur is an element that is gentle and effective in healing and preventing acne breakouts and reducing sebum production with days of religious use.

This soap comes in 90g of product content but is enough to last you a long time since it lathers richly and does not easily melt on soap plates just as long as you store it on dry places away from shower.

In the direction, it says to let it dry for two minutes which I always fail to do because it tend to be drying on my skin. If you are to use this, try to weigh things first and whether to let it dry and rinse it right away because may feel different. I just feel like it makes my skin taut if I let it stay for more minutes. Nonetheless, I would say that it really is still effective on my breakouts even when not left for a few more minutes.

After every wash, I notice that my skin feels so refreshed and clean without further irritation, peeling or redness which is very ideal for me. Given my already irritated and reddened skin, I appreciate that it does not contribute to worsening of my skin condition.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

I just love this set. I swear and I say it without any exaggeration that this is the only Acne Set that works like magic on me. On second day of use after my Bioessence facial, I got a couple of breakouts on my jaw area. I assume that that was because of the incompatibility of my previous skin care and this set. On succeeding days, however, they disappeared and I was left with NO breakout at all. Totally not my skin. It was miracle and I guess this is it! My holy grail set! All that was left was blemishes from the extraction but I have the AB Liquid to heal them fast though.

What about on red days? Well I got two new bumps again on my jaw area. But it is barely even there. What I mean is that they are too small and truth be told, almost unnoticeable. They are pus-free and does not hurt a bit.

Would I repurchase? Hell yeah! Though I am yet to try other products, I will still go back to this set where I wish that the compatibility of this and my skin would remain intact. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to have a clearer, brighter, more radiant and glowing skin! It may cost you a little above budget, but I swear you would not mind if you were to experience the same!

Tried it? Yes? No? Share your thoughts via the comment section o'right? Happy blogging!

First Impression: Bella S Whitening + Products

Bella S Whitening Combi Soaps (Premium Arbutin Soap, Soya Soap, Orange Whitening Soap)
Bought for: Free | Market Price: P135/each

Hey guys! I've recently received soaps from Bella S Whitening Manila and I want to thank them for the trust. Each soap has their own claims (and which looks all quite promising in my eyes) that I will list down below for your own reference.

Premium Arbutin Soap has power dose whitening and micro peeling effect that delivers pinkish white glow. They also dubbed it as the all-in-one-soap. We may heard it a million times but who knows, it may turn out to be our holy grail soap. The Soya Soap, on the other hand, has oat chunks which I believe would be good for gentle exfoliation. This soap also claims to be hypoallergenic, gives smooth, soft skin and fast whitening effect, is anti-aging, and is best for healing of dark spots and stretchmarks. The last soap in their whitening combi soap collection is the Orange Whitening Soap. It says to have pure whitening active ingredients, is best for pimple marks, oily skin and blackheads and will eventually give the skin pinkish white glow.

I have known Arbutin to be an effective plant-derived ingredient to brighten up skin appearance, usually a competitor to Kojic Soaps, yet is more potent and stable than the latter. I have read good reviews about them online so I am expecting good results with the soap too.

To be honest, I never have tried Soya Soaps before, especially the ones with oats on it but the claims were so good to be true which makes me more thrilled to use just to know if it can really whiten skin fast.

I have confused the Orange Whitening Soap to Kojic Acid Soap because of the color. Lots of elders said that oranges (even the peels) are effective in reducing skin problems mainly acne and pimples. They also said that putting orange peels on blenders, mix with honey and egg white would make the skin lighter and firmer. Well, have you tried that? I haven't but I am planning too! Don't worry, I'll share the experience with you soon! All I am saying is that, Bella S Whitening is just right on time sending me this soap! Yay!

So... that's my first impression about BSW's Products! Stoked to try them? Go grab yours by placing your orders online! Don't forget to subscribe! Happy blogging! :)

First Impression: Skin Care Organic + Products

It was right on time, and Skin Care Organic (SCO) was releasing new products as part of their skin care collection. It was an opening for me and I was really delighted that Ms. Shai chose me and my social media platforms (and blog) to feature their products on and make reviews. To top that off, they sent me all of their newly-released products for reviews and the quantity was not even a joke. For that, I will always be grateful to my SCO Family for the trust that they have imparted and for being so nice and passionate to other people even when they do not know them personally.

For everyone's information, Skin Care Organic is another booming online shop which generated awareness first on Instagram. They cater mostly to organic-lovers as their products claim to be formulated without parabens, cruelty-free, vegan, safe and organically and naturally-made. To date, you can also find them on Shopee.

'Unboxing' my package was like receiving a Christmas gift for the first time where SCO was my Santa and I am given something that was on my top wishlist. Sparks fly and all I can't think of was having a delectable bath time and essentials. They were a complete bath time buddies with soaps and scrubs, I suddenly wish I could use all of them all at the same time. Keep reading if you wish to see the haul!

Coffee Latte Body Scrub 300g, P350
Strawberry and Cream Body Scrub 400g, P350

The scrubs come in huge plastic bottles that would surely last you a long time. They smell so irresistibly good, you'll be tempted to devour them right there and then. But of course, do not dare. They jut intend to slough off dead skin cells, not satisfy hunger. Lol.

Goat's Milk Oatmeal She Butter Soap 120g, P150
Eucalyptus Peppermint Soap 120g, P150
Fairest of Them All 120g, P150
Green Tea + Tea Tree Soap 120g, P150
Pineapple Lemon Soap 120g, P150

Cocoon Soap 100g, P180

These soaps are super cute! I never seen soap cut wider in length and narrower in width. Usually, it's a balance. But with the growing number of shop competition on IG, packaging becomes part of the criteria. Good thing, I bet SCO competes well in that field.

Rawberry Lip Scrub 10g, P180/2PCS
Loco Coco Lip Scrub 10g, P180/2PCS

To be honest, it's gonna be my first time trying out lip scrubs that is not a DIY project of mine so I'm really looking forward to a road-testing session! They do not just look and smell so inviting but they are 100% edible too!

Ughhh, so stoked to try everything out. Just wait for my review of each product soon and stay tuned! By the way, they have this promo to slash away P20 to ALL items so...you now know what to do huh! Til my next post! Happy blogging!
