What I Got From The Recent Purederm Giveaway

A few weeks ago, I joined a contest at Instagram where Purederm was giving away prizes worth P2,000 and after I have tried their Argan Oil Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelletes and loved it, I became even more enthusiastic to join since I learned about what could be found inside the loot bag. I thought maybe I could use my winnings in the next few weeks and write honest reviews (now that I'm running out of products to blog about) and let people know how effective their products are.

Anyway, the rules were very simple. You just have to repost their poster, follow them, include hashtags, tag friends and state your favorite summer product of theirs. I said it is the Purederem Argan Oil Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelletes. A few more days, I was really surprised to know that I am one of the five lucky winners to take home amazing prizes. Fearless Summer 2017 with Belo SunExpert Face Cover SPF40 and Perfecting Shield Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50

We always have that one moment when we were bold and strong enough to face everything but withdraw at the last minute. It happened to me before countless of times. I have always loved the beach, the sand and the ocean breeze, but the tanning heat of the sun kept marking my defeat. It has always been "My delight have always ended even before it started". Sunscreens are the only answers to keep me doing the things that I love doing outdoor but I can't just put everything in my cart without considering the price point, effectiveness, SPF content and formulation.

I am not a self-proclaimed adventurous person. I rarely travel to be honest (because I prefer watching movies or reading books while eating and slouching on the couch), but this year, Adrian made me travel to San Rafael, Bulacan for their famous river adventure. I told him that I can't get a tan because my graduation day was a few weeks away and it will surely be an impossible feat to bring back the original complexion in two weeks. Good thing, Belo SunExpert products made me brave enough to face the sun's darkening rays. Whether I stayed at the camping site or I bask under the sun, I will not be hesitant because I was shielded.

If I worried about getting tanned or damaged skin, I worried about Adrian getting sunburned. It was a day under the sun as we swam our hearts out to the nice pool overlooking the beautiful view of Angat River at around 3:00PM (when the sun's rays are the harshest!!!). Can you believe it!? And yes, we rode kayak or paddle board after swimming, where we are free to tour anywhere in the river. We wanted to cross it actually but the river was too wide and water's becoming wild and undulated plus we don't know how to use the paddles properly, ugh. We even hit our own camp and a person swimming! It was embarrassing.

After that, we rode the ATV (four-wheeled vehicle) where we toured the whole spot within and outside the perimeters of San Rafael River Adventure. It was fun riding the ATV, at least aside from a motorcycle, I can now ride a four-wheeled vehicle lol! Anyway, we did all of these activities at noon but we don't care. :P

Why I Want An OPPO F1s

On my nineteenth birthday, I was very lucky when my mom gifted me an OPPO Neo 5. It wasn't even the latest model because that was what they can only afford then given that my enrollment is soon too happen, but I was sure as hell that my first OPPO phone is something I would not try leaving at home. I loved it for thousand things, one is because I look really photogenic and flawless on selfies, it's thin, it's got a protective cover which I did not really remove because there's no need to, it does not lag, etc. In fact, everyone who are close to me know that my OPPO phone becomes my life. Even when I get a new mobile phone, there's no way I'm letting it go.

While I'm not really fond of playing games, therefore, my memory will not be storing any online games ever, this very feature of OPPO F1s--where the 3GB RAM and octa-core 64 bit processor make for smooth multitasking and seamless switching between apps, movies and music--I must admit is really impressive. Though I do not really play games with my mobile phone, I am someone who loves to watch movies, read novels, stream music from my favorite OPM and International singers and even sell items on buy and sell applications! Not only that, I also use my mobile phone to write blog post like this or even my essay homework and I do them almost all at the same time! It's true, I do mostly everything with my phone.

Now my eyes has been focused on the OPPO F1s, I would really be looking forward to level up my mobile experience by using a gadget that would allow me to smoothly multitask. Honestly, the hassle of exiting one application and switching to the next one is very prevalent on mobile phones and an innovation like this with a high-speed memory and fast processor would do great to a person who wants to save time like me. Top 5 Features That I Love From Lazada Philippines

I love buying online. Don't you? I'm sure, for lots of valid reasons. So I was thinking earlier what prompts and encourages me to buy online despite the threats and risks of purchasing stuff without really knowing if a seller is legit and honest or not. I even recently heard that an online shopping site was reported due to poor accommodation and failure to ship the paid items right after buyers send them thousand bucks for dresses. 5 Tips to Boost Your Immunity during the Holidays

Christmas is fast-approaching, isn't it? I can almost feel it, but I am missing that familiar December cold breeze. And when it's near December, some people would go from place to place, celebrating holidays with their loved ones. On the other hand, some of them would stay home fixing Christmas trees and lights, shopping for presents, wrapping gifts and preparing dinner for the Christmas Eve. 

All that planning to execution part during holidays is definitely a busy time for all of us. It is indeed, a joyful moment though, but it can also be something that might stress us out from the whole days of work. After all, the much-dreaded cold and flu season is credited mostly to December! Oh no!

So...boost your immunity during the holidays to enjoy more of the season! How? Here's some tips on how you can manage this busy holiday season that I wrote for all of you! I never thought I'll be giving tips like this because, you know, I quite suck at this, but oh well, I know the following tips will work!

Tip #1: Get at least 8-9 hours of sleep.

8-9 hours of sleep is the typical hours that each of us should get to make sure that we are ready to combat stress and fight vulnerability to fatigue. This is to ensure that we are getting enough energy for the next day's work! To further boost our next day's energy, it is best to take a vitamin supplement like Fern-C before sleeping which is known as an immune-system booster and a potent anti-oxidant that helps build collagen (for the muscle, bone and skin) and fight against free radicals!

Tip #2: Eat healthy food and supplements.

Sleeping is not enough. You should also incorporate eating healthy foods such as green and leafy vegetables and juicy fruits which are rich in minerals and vitamins (especially Vitamin C) that will surely boost immunity and prevent viruses from causing you sickness like cough, cold, fever, flu (which is very prominent during cold season). Tip #3: Get rid of germs!

Germs and viruses are the most common sources of the ever-dreaded cold and flu! In my case, I always bring both with my hand wash and would use it during my spare times while I'm at school. Actually, it has been a habit of mine to wash my hands every time I touch something that might be contaminated with bacteria, viruses and germs. Do it too to ensure that you're free from these harmful things!

Also, you can fight it by knowing when to share! What do I mean by that? Sharing things with people is noble but sharing or borrowing things or services that might be infected with germs is a no-no! Like toilet? You got the picture, right? You can also fight germs through vaccination!

Tip #4: Live your life to the fullest.

You can avoid stress by simply enjoying yourself! If you are doing something that stresses you a lot, stop doing it for a moment and just chill out! You'll get older faster if you always stress yourself, you know.

To avoid it, do some shopping or travelling. You can also read and watch out movies, anything that would make you happy! The best thing that you can do is to keep calm and hang out with your dearest friends! They are the best people to turn to if you needed some breaking free from the day's tiresome work! But don't ever forget your family (don't you dare) as you can also spend some quality time with them by just merely chit-chatting with them! You can also take supplements that is known to help relieve stress like Fern-C!

Tip #5: Do all of these and break free from the holiday stress!

This is actually the most important tip, guys. Don't just do the other and take the others for granted. You might want to live your life to the fullest by prioritizing things, get rid of germs by washing your hands a lot (like a lot!) especially before eating as you tend to put your hands on your mouth when you eat (admit it!) and of course as you eat, don't just eat! Taking Gifting To The Next Level

Time flies so swiftly. Yesterday seems like a new year, a new beginning and now we are almost in the rear of 2015. Where did time go, seriously?

I guess Christmas is a season for wish list making, yes? Add it to the mix, you are truly into celebrating a generous holiday with the people that you care about. But, of course, let us not limit ourselves for wishing only what we always yearns to have. Let us take time to contemplate and ponder on other people's need as well through performing in our own philanthropic ways.

This time I will be talking about gift-giving since I can already feel the season of sharing to those people who needed love and care the most. Think about it, Christmas is not only the moment where we should give back to others, but every time and every day is. Give something back and remember that it is in giving that we receive something.

Anyway, do you still remember when you were still these cute little kids and you wished some things under the mistletoe and would eventually get it on the day of Christmas? Surely, you do. Most of us do. We all have wish lists--material things that we always wanted. What's mine? Here, I'm gonna show them to you!!!

What is my Christmas wish list for myself?

-craft materials

I'm actually starting to love shoes nowadays so they are my priorities for my own wish list, aside, of course, from happiness and world peace and long and healthy life for my loved ones. I maybe should join pageants (with no beauty and height, haha). No, seriously, if I would be granted just a single wish and it could be anything? I would wish for a long and healthy life for the people that I care about.

Since I am starting to love make ups, I would wish for basic must-haves like foundation, mascara, eyebrow contour kit, gel liners and lipsticks. I prefer mousse foundations or powder foundations since according to my research they are the best kind for oily skin, mascara, however, would open up my eyes and Maybelline Hypercurl would give me that natural look I always wanted. Shaping my brows and filling it in suddenly become a hobby of mine since it is what I think frames my face. And having well-groomed eyebrows just complete the look. I would use gel liners for my eyelids though since I wanted to learn to do what my friends call 'cat eye' and I quite suck at that. Hmph. So yeah, I wanted to practice more.

I actually love art. I don't do drawings or paintings so I admire people who can do such things. And by saying so, DIY for me is art and turning a simple box into something colorful, for example, is one thing I could do using craft materials. Additionally, looking at this lovely pieces somehow just cheers me up. So for 2016, I'm looking forward for more DIYs, making my day extra productive.

What are my gift ideas for my loved ones this year?

-personalized perfume bottles
-personalized necklaces, charms, pendants

For my family, I think this would be the perfect gift ideas for them--a statement shirt for my mother, father and two brothers. They could just keep it though as it's too obvious I brag about them to much to people. Hahah! Or they can wear it at home only.

The first time I saw this at Chemiscents on their Instagram page, I was instantly hooked up, I actually wanted one for myself. This would be a good decoration on shelves and a cute gift to people that I care about.

For a special someone and for extra special people, I can give them necklaces with their names or initials on them. I can also give them personalized keychain to hang on their bags or anywhere they want to.

So or my loved ones, I would prefer giving them something personalized so that they would feel extra special. That's why my gift ideas for them are customized perfume bottles, necklaces, statement shirts (describing them). Some might find these ideas boring or too trite? But I think having to received such gifts is really a touching moment because, I don't know, I tend to become sentimental at times and just value what others would give me, even if they are stones, you know. >:D

But the most special gift I could ever give them is love and time. They are not expensive but I know they are priceless though. You never know when there is still enough time to hug, kiss and spend some quality time with them so you better do it while you still can.

How do I plan to give back to others this Christmas?

-baking and cooking for them
-giving them stuff toys
-prayers

To the less fortunate families, giving them food is something that they would appreciate a lot. So I think, baking goods and cooking for them, sort of like a feeding program, is a good gift idea because you are able to fill them emotionally with happiness and physically with food. I could also volunteer in feeding programs because I've been a witness to how these people could be so happy that people would care about them. This is one of those simple things I, we could do to give back to others.

Having to receive presents is one thing that would make us happy, but sharing is another that would make us feel happy and blessed all at the same time. Seeing someone smile is something that we should practice on doing more often because it tells us what person we truly are inside. Now that the Christmas is near, it could be the time to show our support and help others who have less or nothing for Christmas.

So how do I plan to give back to others this Christmas? They say the best things in life are free. Love is free. Care is free. I encourage you, guys, to include each of us in your own little prayers. Let's do this, and we could make Christmas truly a season of love and giving. If you could, give a bear of joy today. Let's remember them as we shop. This is the least of all the things that we could offer to them. It will be our own little way to tell them how loved and blessed they are.

My Belkin Wishlist

Hi, guys! So I just read on my e-mails and found out that the Nuffnang has conducted collaboration with Belkin wherein Nuffnangers are invited to create a blog post about the top 5 Belkin products that they want and include them on their wish list. So... here are mine!

Take note, I am not a really 'techie' kind of person, but this contest somehow helped me figure out how a simple cable chargers differ from each other by the benefits and convenience that they offer. Truly, Belkin International is standing among the finest manufacturer of consumer electronics that specializes in connectivity devices.

Enough for some talking, here are my wishlist!!!

What I like most about this is that it's a kit already! I mean I don't need to go and find that perfect cable to pair up with this because it's 'one kit for all my charging need'! Through this, I need not to worry whether I forgot my power bank as this would be just the perfect substitute for that! Whether my battery dropped to a percent or almost there, this would be the answer for a battery boost. The cable is removable as well so I can, in fact, easily plug my phones in laptops to charge and sync (and easily transfer photos and upload them on social media), as well as in my house and car chargers while I'm off to somewhere. Sad to say, I don't have a car. But wait 'til I get one! Hoho!

And my family could also borrow it from me, so while travelling, there's just this need for one charger. I'll just ask them to bring their own cables to swap. Yey! Hahahah! Truly, this is a life-saver! What more could I ask for?

This great design is easy to keep as I can just easily put it in my pocket or key chain and it will go with me anywhere. JUST LIKE THAT. Pretty amazing, huh? I really do love USB designed like a swivel so I was really stoked when I saw this simple, yet very practically designed product. If you love to share photos whenever and wherever you are, this is practically the easiest way to! I mean...just plug it to your phone and connect it to your laptop, then, tada! All you need is this little and lightweight accessory and you're fully equipped! It won't take up much space and there's the slightest possibility of it to get lost as I can put it even in the hooks of my bag. Also, there's no need for tangled cables. It's basically the answer for everything. How could this little thing do great things!?

Huhuhu, as I'm typing what my thoughts are for this USB Keychain, I'm starting to realize how badly I need this pretty little thing! Seriously, it's like a weapon of spies! Have you watched Spy Kids??? LOL.

Through this, I can easily charge two devices at once wherever I am! So if only I have it, I could easily get to save on my charging time. This is definitely what I need for my gadgets! This is a must-have for those who wanted to plug and power two devices at the same time without having to share the power. With the benefits it offers, I can do more fun things like playing and surfing the net using my gadget and not worry about it getting 'broke'. For a person who loves to update social media accounts like me, well, I'm just crossing my fingers that someday I'll get to have my own Dual Swivel Charger which rotates 90° to accommodate crowded outlets and make room for other plugs, while folding prongs make it simple to stick in a bag for charging on the go.

Just like the Belkin Charger Kit with Lightning to USB Cable, the cable here is also removable so it can be used anytime and anywhere on my laptop to charge and sync! One thing I love about it? This cable is perfect to use with the Dual Swivel Charger to charge and sync my gadget quickly and safely, anytime, anywhere. I think all of the products of Belkin totally hit me!

I couldn't go a day without my cable and charger. I always dreaded low batteries so it's always a must that I bring mine wherever I go. Who knows if someone important called or texted me but I couldn't get to answer or reply because my phone is a dead battery already? What shall I do then? This is perfect if I needed to charge my other phone faster than ever. I just had to plug it to the Dual Swivel Charger, and tada! No more worries!

Another thing I like about it is the cord that's braided which totally looks hot. Hot!? Seriously!? Yeah, I think it's hot...in a, you know, amazing way. Well, it's totally like a 'world power in my control' device. Through this, I can plug and charge my gadgets in to any local power outlets anywhere in the world! Did you miss what I just said??? I said anywhere in the world!!! Yoohoo! If you love travelling and taking pictures and documenting it on your social media accounts like me, then this is a must-have since those activities tend to lessen the power left on my batteries big time! This device allows me to stay connected and safe while I'm everywhere in the world!
