Bioessence QuadWhite 4-in-1 Soap To Exfoliate The Skin

This week, I am very fortunate to get a 3-day off from work. Yesterday was the first day but I pretty much did nothing. I've been procrastinating a lot lately and I want to put an end to it (at least for now lol). Today, let me share with you my thoughts about Bioessence QuadWhite 4-in-1 Soap.

Bioessence is one of the skincare brands that I genuinely love. I remember how my first facial turned a success and following it up with using their Acnetrol line gave me the clearest skin I've ever had in my entire life. If only I can bring back the time... I guess this is when it hits hard when they say, 'you're not getting any younger'.

BIOESSENCE QUADWHITE 4-IN-1 SOAP

This premium soap contains a blend of 4 whitening ingredients (L-Glutathione, Carica Papaya Extract, Kojic Acid and Vitamin C) that helps the skin to be fairer, brighter, brighter, and young-looking.

Benefits: removes skin impurities and excess oils; lightens skin discoloration

So much whitening ingredients for a single soap, eh? To be honest, I didn't know this soap exist until this one time when I wanted to repurchase Acnetrol products online. I key in the brand name and it showed me all the products available. I saw this soap and got intrigued because the seller said that this is great for underarm and bikini areas. I've had problems with chicken skin and uneven skin tone for quite a while so I guess trying it out won't hurt that much.

Let me just appreciate the packaging - I like that it's made of eco-friendly materials with a little bit of plastic. Nothing fancy but I like minimal designs so.

This soap lathers richly and it goes a long way. It's one of those soaps that has a sudsy formula to the core so there's nothing to waste. It gets mushy easily, mind you, so make sure to store it in a dry place after use. What I normally do is cut the soap in half (or even smaller if possible), so I don't have to wet the whole soap at once. I don't know 'bout you, but this is me being practical.

I didn't take this soap seriously and I didn't expect that much either. I initially thought that it works just like other soaps wherein you just have to lather and rinse and wait for a miracle for your skin to lighten up.

My main target were the parts that seemed darker than the rest of my body - bikinis areas, underarms, knees, elbows, ankles - so I only apply this soap to these areas every time I take a bath. I leave the lather on for about 3-5 minutes before rinsing it off. I was surprised when I noticed that my skin is peeling on the 3rd day of use. Ooooh, that was quick! The good thing is that it's peeling but not to the point where it's uncomfortable. No severe dryness or irritation from having the urge to scratch the skin from time to time. Whenever I do, maybe it's just my hair starting to crawl up. LOL.

I've tried peeling oils or body exfoliating products before but nothing feels gentler than peeling with this soap. It doesn't force your skin to shed excessively (if you know what I mean). There are visible peeling but the dead skin cells that it removes are very fine so skin peels evenly. As a result, you get softer and smoother layer. Skin feels tighter and more even. It also lessens textures so it would be great if you are looking for something to smoothen out your chicken skin.

I haven't used it for the rest of my body since I'm not into lightening anymore. My dream now is to make my skin to look more even. I haven't tried it on my face either but I might give it a shot especially I have a lot of blemishes and pimple scars. I'll just give an update once I'm able to try it out.

The only thing I hate about it is that it's hard to find, all Bioessence products are. Because of the pandemic, I couldn't drop by any physical stores (they are also far from where I live) so online buying is my last and only resort. I'm just lucky to maybe spot one or two sellers who have available stocks.

So would I repurchase? Surely, my answer is yes. I'll continue using until I'm satisfied. For only P180. this product is worth buying.

Belo Intensive Whitening Kojic Acid + Tranexamic Acid Extra Moisture Bar Review

Belo Intensive Whitening Kojic Acid + Tranexamic Acid Bar
Bought from: Sampleroom
SRP: 59.75/65g

Right after I heard Belo's launching  a new soap--which is, by the way, quite interesting with all the claims to be whitening but non-drying--I told myself that I should give that a try. I am not really into lightening my complexion right now but I am after making it more even toned. When Sample Room had this on their list, I immediately spent my points to get myself a bar together with the Belo Intensive Whitening Body Cream which, I think, is best when paired up. Anyway, in this blog post, I will be sharing my thoughts about this soap, it's pros and cons and everything in between! Keep on reading!

CLAIMS

BELO’s most intensive whitening bar yet that boasts of the unique combination of today’s two most powerful whitening actives. (1) Kojic Acid: An organic compound that effectively inhibits the production of tyrosinase and melanin, giving skin a visibly lighter appearance. (2) Tranexamic Acid: A peptide proven to inhibit inflammation and melanin formation. It is ideal for stubborn dark spots that do not respond to other skin lightening ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

TEXTURE

Since this is a glycerin-based soap, it's not as opaque as other bars. It's kinda jelly-looking and is tinted orange (due to Kojic) and a bit sticky when you try to smoothe your fingers to it. Surprisingly, this soap does not melt easily on soap dishes but you might want to cut them in tiny bars before use to prolong its life, which I did so this lasted me for more than two weeks.

APPLICATION

I am using the soap twice a day, twice per bath time to ensure accuracy of review. I usually let it sit on my skin for more or less 10 minutes and see for myself how much drying it can be (of if it won't dry it at all which is impossible, of course, for water can also suck out skin's moisture alone).

PERFORMANCE

The soap does not lather very much when applied so you really have to apply a few more times when you are cleaning your skin. Unlike other Kojic soaps, this does feels a bit less drying and won't irritate the skin. Sometimes, when I leave Kojic Acid Soaps on my skin over time, it gives me the wrinkled and taut skin and worse, itchiness and irritation happen. However, since this soap does not lather much on the skin, I feel like it does not do much in cleansing away all day's dirt and oil accumulated on it. With this, I still prefer the old Kojic Soap from Belo which lathers well enough to give me a squeaky clean feeling. Anyway, you can restore moisture by applying excessive amount of lotion afterwards. Still, I wouldn't ignore the fact that this soap is best for face usage because it feels very gentle on skin and won't contribute to parched pelts and breakouts.

Considering the tiny size  of this bar, I wouldn't have high expectations in terms of its lightening capabilities. However, it is effective in exfoliating the skin and bring out a brighter and even more radiant complexion and works better when paired with other Belo products.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

Overall, I would say that this soap is not bad at all, but is less effective than the old Belo Intensive Whitening Bar from Belo in terms of whitening the skin. However, if you have dry skin but still want to dry soaps that are Kojic Acid-based, then you might want to give this a try without the risk of getting excessive flaking of skin or dryness. This is safe to use whatever skin type you have and in my experience, didn't break me out.

Does Belo Intensive Whitening Kojic Acid + Tranexamic Acid Bar interest you? Any thoughts Happy blogging!

Professional Skin Care Formula Clarifying Toner and Kojic Acid Soap

Kojic Acid Soap
Clarifying Toner
Bought for: Free | Original Price: to be updated

Hi, guys! Here's a review of the Professional Skin Care Formula Kojic Acuid Soap and Clarifying Toner for you!

Rejuvenating Soap

First, the packaging for the soap is simple yet transparent so you exactly can already see what product you will apply or use on your skin. I guess the complete labeling pays off too since OC consumers would see the ingredients list, directions for use, warning, storage and proof of authenticity--the silver seal. This would shut me up because I will know that I am not into getting the side effects for using products with lots of imitation in the market. Better be safe than sorry, right?

Moving on to the review proper...This is not my first time trying out the Kojic Acid Soap as my mom brought home two of these even before Lavish Skin Care sent me one. I would say that the soap does not change in any way like formulation or scent or what. It still smells citrusy and I don't know why but sometimes, I find it strong but tolerable. It melts easy on soap dish as well so better keep it on a dry surface after every bath to prolong its life. Life talaga? Lol. This soap suds richly too and I believe that this is why it is so drying. That being said, you are not allowed to skip putting some moisturizer on your skin after bath to seal in and replace loss moisture.

Using this soap religiously, I noticed that I experienced micro-peeling, that is, if you let the product stay on your skin for more than five minutesat minimum. For those who wants to achieve a lighter and more flawless skin, you might like the those who are experiencing excessive skin drying might find this a turn-off. Thus, I recommmend you to still visit your dermatologist before trying this out.

Because it is created by Professional Skin Care, I can't help stereotyping that all their products are a bit harsh on skin and therefore is intended for matured pelts only because of the peeling process. To my surprise, it suits my teenage skin as well! Aside from being drying, this does not cause me excessive breakouts. Yay! However, if you really want a significant result in terms of skin lightening, I suggest to use it everyday for a long period of time and at least twice a day. But of course, never ever forget to apply moisturizer and sunblock as this could increase skin's sensitivity to sun exposure.

Clarifying Toner

Okay, at first, I was really afraid trying out this clarifying toner because my mom used the rejuvenating toner before and she told me it was really painful on skin. This made me hesitant trying this out but with continuous internal push (me ganun? lol), I finally had the courage to try it for myself for review purposes. I did not expect to like it of course. But now I do.

In all fairness, this toner feels gentle on it though it makes my skin feel taut afterwards. The transparent, watery-like consistency of the product dries fast on skin so I would not have to bother fanning my hands on my face. I experienced this with my previous toner, okay? Hahaha! I am not exaggerating lol. Anyway, the scent has a hint of chemicals on it but I did expect it to be that way because it is a dermal product. Still, I like the scent. I believe this toner is gentler than the rejuvenating toner so if you have low tolerance for pain and redness, go for the clarifying set.

As I have said, I like this toner because it can heal pimples and prevent future breakouts which are very prominent on my skin right now due to lack of sleep and stress caused by school projects and the deym thesis. Huhu. Anyway, I am surviving so as my skin!

Overall, I am satisfied in using Professional Skin Care Clarifying Toner and Kojic Acid Soap--both from Lavish Skin Care. If you have further inquiries, kindly contact them, link is provided above on the product caption. Until my next post, beautiful ladies! And oh, by the way, my MASSIVE BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY where five winners will be chosen, is still up on! Kindly look at the right side bar for the link top mechanics and other rules! Good luck and happy blogging!

SVR Infinity Face and Body Cream with UV Filters and Glutathione with Kojic and Collagen Soap

Sofia's Glutathione with Kojic and Collagen Soap (135g), P100
Sofia's Face and Body Cream with UV filters (50ml), P235
From: SVR Infinity

SVR (Sofia Veronica Relosa) Infinity Glutathione and Collagen Soap and Cream with UV Filters I have made a brief introduction to SVR Infinity on my previous post, didn't I? The reason I wrote it next because I am using them all at the same time but still maintaining a low maintenance skin care. Hahah! For a busy bee like me, I can only manage to use not more than five products on my face every after bath. Unlucky me. Anyway, without further ado, here's my review about SVR Infinity!

SVR Infinity Glutathione with Kojic and Collagen Soap

I really like the idea of the packaging with the white and blue ribbon. The soap was also wrapped twice in a transparent plastic which is a plus point for me because I know it will maintain its freshness and cleanliness unlike others with exposed parts. It is also complete with details that you would definitely would want to know like directions, description, ingredients and proof of authenticity. Good thing, Sofia has it! Check the photo below to enlarge and know more about it!

This soap has known powerful ingredients such as Glutathione, Collagen, Kojic, Vitamin E and C. Provided are the benefits of their key ingredients. Glutathione is a natural anti-oxidants that eradicates toxins or free radicals in the body. As Glutathione properties is synthesized into a Glutathione soap, it inhibits the melanin formation and eliminates melasma, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, freckles, dark spots. This results to a natural skin lightening. Collagen is a natural protein that binds skin tissues to avoid fine lines or wrinkles. As a person age, decrease in collagen becomes apparent. With collagen supplements, such as soaps, creams, etc., natural collagen develops to avoid unwanted lines on your skin.  Kojic Acid, another form of skin lightening property, is a natural anti-bacterial and anti-fungus that is found to cure melasma, dark spots, and acne.
Vitamin E and C are antioxidant properties that promotes natural skin repair. Both neutralize free radicals and aids development of your body’s natural glutathione.

Given all these, who would resist these products, right? However, we may not know the amount of concentration of these ingredients on the products but, still, it's worth a chance!

As you can see, it has an almost snowy white soap color with the name Sofia embossed in the middle. Other than that, nothing seems to look more special on the soap until you lather it on wet skin. I swear, I never had encountered a soap as smooth and creamy as this. Well, to name one, I like the texture of Go Bare OatMilk Porridge Soap, but this one is totally different. It imparts a creamy soft feel on skin upon lathering and it easily suds richly with a very nice scent to it. I don't know if I smell a hint of vanilla on it, but it's just so nice while it lingers on skin for a few more hours after bath!

I like how this soap leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean and refreshed afterward. However, this soap could also be drying even when you do not let it stay for minutes so moisturizer is a must. Good thing, my package came with the cream.

SVR Infinity Face and Body Cream with UV Filters

The cream is housed in an opaque plastic tube with a cover that tightly shuts with a snap. It has that familiar blue and white theme on the overall packaging which screams it really is Sofia's. Lol. Anyway, again, nothing looks really special in the packaging except the generous details imprinted on the sticker. I like it better this way than plain ones. With this, I could check more often what am I putting on my face.

For your reference (because the writing is too microscopic to see, kidding), here's what's written at the back of this product.

Claims: Get that no makeup, flawless skin look with SVr Infinity products. You beauty regimen is made much more easy and effortless with Sofia's Face and Body Cream with UV filters.

Instructions of use: After washing, apply unto your face and/or body Sofia's Face and Body Cream with UV filters. For better results, use it with Sofia's Glutathione with Kojic and Collagen Soap. Reapply before stepping out in the sun for that much ;needed UV protection. Don't forget maximum protectionis not staying too long under the harsh sun!

Ingredients; Aqua, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Fruit Extract distillate, Cocamide DEA, Stearic Acid, Garcinia Binucao (Biko) choisy "Batuan" fruit extract, Polysorbate 80, Dimethicone, Ceteareth-20, Titanium oxide, Zinc Oxide, Benzophenone-3, Ceresin, Ozokerite, Glyceryl Monostearate, Citrofortunella Microcarpa Fruit Extract, Triethanolamine, Kojic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Carboxymethylcellulose, Methyl paraben, Propyl paraben, Butylated Hydroxytoluene, Fragrance

Paraben spotted!

This product has three key ingredients: Garcinia Morella which is a low PH level natural ingredient that gives instant fair skin while your beautiful skin is moisturized; Kojic Acid, a natural whitening, anti-bacteria, and anti-fungal ingredient. A great ingredient that addresses pimples to give you a zit and dark spots free skin. and UV filters (SPF 20), your much needed protection for your flawless skin from the sun’s UV rays. Avoid pre-mature skin ageing, and dark spots by re-applying day and night

The cream is snowy white in color and is thick in consistency so a little goes a long way--half a blob is enough for the whole face. Because of the sun protection, it tends to create white cast on skin so you might want to fully blend it to reduce this. As it says, it can be applied on both face and skin so you save on maintenance products with this. It's also travel-sized so it fits most pouch precisely. Upon application, surprisingly, this does not feel heavy nor greasy on skin despite its thick consistency. I also did not have a problem with it being applied under makeup as it does not make foundation cake or what. This does not dries to matte but it does not look super oily too and works perfectly with Soul Skin PH's products! Definitely, no adverse reaction whatsoever!

***

Overall, I like SVR Infinity Face and Body Cream with UV Filters and Glutathione with Kojic and Collagen Soap. They do not break me out. The reduces the appearance of my pimple marks. They are so affordable and perfect for busy people because of the low-maintenance skin care concept involving only two products: soap and cream. However, I prefer using these with Soul Skin PH Toner and Light Cream. Have you read my review about them? If not, click here.

Bare Skin Pure White and Glow Soap Review

*Okay, so I am in the middle of a breakdown right now because I was supposed to publish this already and everything went black and I'm back to square one. :'(

Bare Skin Pure White and Glow Soap 160g
Bought from: Free | Original Price: P120/bar
From: Bare Skin

Constant change in body soaps is inevitable for beauty bloggers like me. Every so often, I had to change bars because I needed something to review on. Last May, Ma'am Rowena of Bare Skin sent me the same three bars of her Pure White and Glow Soaps for me road test. I know I have to use all three for a more credible review and now that I already do, here's a review on Bare Skin Pure White and Glow Soap! By the way, there was only one bar left before I figured out I haven't had a decent picture of them three so yeah, here's the last bar for you.

As you can see, the product has this pretty gradient color (orange to white) which very much reminds me of sunset (idk whyXD). Such a cute little thing to look at, indeed. It also has this embossed Bare Skin label on the center of the soap. For the overwhelming 160g bar, your P120 is super worth it. I was really amazed the first time I took hold of it because the soap is really big.

I like that this bar smells a combination of citrus and sweet scents and lathers richly and that all components bind together strongly that it does not melt easily compared to other whitening soaps that I have tried before. Still, it would be best to keep it away from wet areas like shower and keep the soap dish dry to prolong its life. Like what I usually do, I cut the bar in quarters because that way, you get to only use a small portion of it and the rest would still look fresh as it is new. Thanks to all soap junkies out there, I picked something this relevant that it becomes one of my life's greatest hacks! Yay!

For mobile users:

Claims: It has a blend of kojic, placenta, and glutathione that has an extra strength whitening effect and will surely give your skin a pure white and glowing complexion.

Contents/Ingredients: Virgin Coconut Oil, Vegetable Glycerine, Aqua, Kojic Acid Dipalamate, L-Glutathione, Placentol, Papain, Fragrance.

Whoa. It got all four powerful whitening ingredients in one soap. Nonetheless, the concentration could be the question. Read more if this soap is really effective on me!

This soap is indeed effective on me. Using three bars make my skin softer, smoother, healthier, and more glowing without over-drying it. It really works! But take note that you really have to use a product religiously for you to notice significant effects. I have consumed all three bars which I shared with my mom for a month and I can say that there were minor scars on my skin that were once obvious but now has turned barely-there in appearance! This product rocks! Yay!

Unfortunately, as I tried it on my skin, it reacts badly through breaking out, probably because of the sudden change in skin care. So I had to discontinue. On a lighter note, it feels really good on my body. So I do advise that if you have sensitive skin, try to do some testing. If you want to incorporate it in your skin care, use this at least once every other day. If it's doing fine, try to level up by using it once to twice a day. When that still fails, avoid using anything for a week then use this on succeeding days. If no breakouts were experienced, you're lucky! If there is, then it's time for you to discontinue because sometimes you really can't rely on first impressions. You have to give products more chances because if it fails, there might be a lot of factors why it did.

Using it for weeks, I could say that this product is really promising and I recommend it for everyone's use. Also, I do advise you, guys, to refrain from staying too long under the sun and wear a lot of sunscreen to prevent skin darkening and premature ageing as whitening soaps can increase skin's sun sensitivity. Til my next post! Happy blogging!

Belo Intensive Whitening Bar (Kojic + Tranexamic + Exfoliating Lemon Scrub)

Belo Intensive Whitening Soap (Kojic + Tranexamic + Exfoliating Lemon Scrubs)
Bought from: Free from Zalora
Price: P59.75/65g

This bar has long been sleeping on my stash of soap. I had myself purchase this from Zalora together with the Belo Essentials AcnePro Kit right away after Belo released this for review purposes. But I went hiatus on using different soaps because I am getting lots of breakouts back then and I assume they were from incompatibility of the current and the previous. By then, I decided I wanted to stick to a certain skin care set first.

I believe this is the latest in their whitening skincare line which triggered my curiosity on its effectiveness knowing that Belo only releases effective products in the market.

As you can see, this soap comes in a bar the same size as the other Belo Kojic Soap except that this one has exfoliating lemon scrubs which makes it a scrub and soap in one. This is best for those who are in a hurry because they can already skip off scrubbing with this bar.

This soap smells okay, well, neither plain nor strong, just okay. It also dilutes easily on wet soap dishes like other Kojic soaps so you better put it on a dry place away from shower after use. This will prolong the life of the soap and allows you to use this for a longer period of time.

Are you familiar with Tranexamic Acid? Well, it sounds alien to me so again, just like what I always do, I conduct a not-so research about it and here's what mcbiotec.com says: Tranexamic Acid is for whitening and preventing pigmentation, inhibiting and improving skin roughness and is safe for pigmentation after sun exposure, dark spots, sensitive skin, acne and inflammation and postoperative care after laser, pulsed light treatment. Okay, now I know. Basically, it's still for skin lightening.

A lot of reviews claims that there were slight stinging and itchiness upon use of this soap. However, I did not experience any of those even both on my face and body. Some also claim that this deliver micro peeling effect. No such thing in my experience. Is it because I do not let this product stay on my skin for minutes? Or am I covered with layers of dead skin cells that the actives in this soap fail to penetrate through my skin? Lol. But seriously, this soap did not sting on me. Although could be a little bit drying so moisturizer is a must. It would be best if you wear sunscreen afterwards as this product can increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun.

After finishing this bar, there was minimal, almost unnoticeable change in my skin tone but I have to admit that it became softer and smoother, brighter and more radiant now than before. I also have to say that this soap is compatible to the lotion which I am currently using and the one which overlapped with the counterpart soap of the lotion (Gluta-C products). For better results though, use Belo Intensive Whitening Bar (Kojic + Tranexamic + Exfoliating Lemon Scrub) in conjunction with other Belo products to avoid incompatibility problems just to be sure.

What I like:

-No sting/itchiness on the skin when applied
-Soap lathers richly
-No redness
-No allergic results
-No micro peeling effect
-Makes skin radiant, soft and smooth right away
-Scent is okay or me
-Affordable at P59.75 for a 65g soap
-Exfoliating with the lemon scrubs

What I don't like:

-A little drying on the skin especially when left for minutes
-Effect can be emphasized if use you use more than one bar
-Melts easily on soap dish

Overall, despite few downsides, I am still willing to repurchase and give this product another try. It's not like this product feels like it cease to exist. I have tried lots of drying soaps but they can be resolved with moisturizers. It melting easily is something which is not new to us anymore. I mean Kojic Soaps melts easily, right? It could probably be their nature. I got used to it a long time already and even if it's one of the things I dislike about it, it isn't an issue anymore. And the effect of products, as we all know, requires patience to be able to see remarkable results. It's not like as if their is an existing product that could lighten our skin overnight and permanently, right?

The point is, let's give some products a chance to be tried especially if you are equally interested because you never know where treasures are! Til my next post! Happy blogging!

UNI Kojic With Gluta Whitening Beauty Soap Review

How would you feel when a friend of yours or someone you used to know suddenly complimented your skin tone by asking, "Lalo kang pumuti ah. Anong gamit mong sabon?" ("You look fairer. What soap are you using?"). For me, it was kind of uplifting that someone notices how careful you take care of your skin. But the best part is...telling them what soap you really are using and advising them in order to get the same result. In a way, you help them discover what products might suit them.

We all know that most of the Pinays are kayumanggi (brown) in complexion. It is by nature and we can't do anything about it. We are gifted with this skin tone just like how Koreans or Americans were gifted with a fairer complexion. As a result, we tend to buy products infused with different ingredients which can make our skin tones lighter. And because of this high demand, almost all of the beauty/skin care brands offer huge selection of products which claim to whiten Asian skin.

Speaking of beauty commodities, we have this highest expectations on products which contain Glutathione and Kojic Acid to whiten our skin. Believe me, I am one of those hoarders of anything that can cause skin lightening. Don't get me wrong, I was born with a somehow fair complexion. My mom was fair and thank goodness I got her skin tone. Still, I wanted to find products which would eventually make my skin even toned and brighter after years of staying under the sun, especially when I was in high school when we had to undergo Citizenship Advancement Training. Believe me, I got at least three tones darker and back then, I hadn't been introduced to sun screen benefits just yet. I thought sunblocks can only be used for swimming since that's where you get most of the tan.

Anyway, enough of my high school life...what I'm going to review today is the UNI Kojic With Gluta Whitening Beauty Soap. But first, I think you should have some more background about Kojic Soaps, how it works, its benefits, etc by reading the full article here.

As you can see, they can be availed for 2 bars of soap for the price of 1! I forgot the price but it's way too cheap (not over a hundred bucks for a 135g X 2 bar). Because my mom and I have grown so much love for this soap, this is already our fourth box. Basically, we have been using this soap for 2-3 months already. And it became my favorite, probably one of the best among all the Kojic Soaps I have used before.

As you can see the soap is sealed in a plastic and is almost divided into two parts. The upper one is obviously the signature color of Kojic Soaps, orange, and the lower portion is the Glutathione. If you are to use the soap all over your visage and body (just like me), then a bar is likely to stay un-melted for at least a week. Just a note of advice, for longer staying power of Kojic and Glutathione Soaps, you can divide/slice the soap in twos or fours so only there's a quarter-size to use. Return the other soaps on the box and keep it there until you needed another one. Believe me, my mom had praised me for the idea since being covered in water during bathing tends to melt it easily, right? (Thanks to Kim for this advice!)

The best thing about this soap is that it does not cause me breakouts, instead, it prevents them to occur. I just massage it all over my body during bath time twice a day, then let it sit for minutes before rinsing off. Upon frequent use, I notice that my skin really became even toned. Although I do not recommend this to those who have dry skin as it may sting and to those who do not want to experience micropeeling.

Unlike other whitening soaps, this does not at all leave my skin dry probably because it is formulated with moisturizers. On the other hand, after my first week of use, I notice that the skin on my body started to peel (except for the face). It's a good thing for me though, my body was getting rid of dead skin cells for a healthier and newer skin. And after the peeling, I noticed that my skin tone became lighter. I held no bias, o'right?

During the second week, I experienced peeling also. I started to hate the soap for the frequent peeling but it has been the last time for the first month of use. I still experience peeling every now and then but I think it's a proof that the soap is really working and it still allows the skin to fully recover first. Just make sure to apply generous amount of moisturizer, preferably sun block, afterwards while or while not experiencing peeling as it's better than take a risk since using lightening soaps may increase skin's sensitivity to the sun.

Would I recommend it?

Definitely! I've been recommending it to my friends and I will be recommending it to everyone who does not mind experiencing peeling upon use and those who have extra time to still apply sunblock/moisturizers after taking a bath as lightening soaps increase skin's sensitivity to the sun. And most especially, I recommend it to those who love to try effective products without breaking the bank (just like me)! For more recommended Kojic Soaps that are must-try and which are available in the market, please do check kojic acid soap reviews.
