Mario Badescu Special Cucumber Lotion Review

Mario Badescu Special Cucumber Lotion
Bought for: Sale price | SRP: P1,233/236ml
Bought from: Sephora Philippines

Last month, I did purchase Mario Badescu Acne Control Kit, with five products as an inclusion, in the hope that I'll get clearer skin that's free from terrible zits and blemishes I have since time immemorial. It is, by far, my priority right now since I bought new makeups and know that they would only apply perfectly, that is, if I start with good skin care. I did not imagine myself saying this, but I am a living proof how a little bit on the high end skin care is not always an excellent skin care. Sometimes, more affordable ones work just as nice or even better. Spoiler alert, this toner did not do much on my skin.

Description, Directions, Ingredients

Claims (as per Mario Badescu)

Ideal for oily, troubled skin, our Special Cucumber Lotion offers enhanced cleansing that's one step up from our Cucumber Cleansing Lotion. This powerful formula is infused with soothing Cucumber Extract to clarify and refresh while controlling T-zone shine. Pore-clogging impurities are swept away to help problem skin achieve a clearer-looking complexion.

Packaging

I really admire how MB products are packaged in a way that they reflect what this particular skin care line is about: simplicity. All of it looks very simple, yet very neat and unique and I really appreciate it. Take this for example, the cap is very functional as you just have to lift the dispenser up and you can easily control the amount of product that you want to use. Push it down one more time and it's a guarantee that the product won't leak out. Also, the product displays all necessary information in clear fonts for better comprehension.

Texture, Consistency and Ease of Application

The color of the product reminds me of pineapple juice because of its lemon-y shade (uhm, should that remind me of lemon instead?). Anyway, the consistency is watery like other toners and has a subtle scent of alcohol. This lotion is easy to apply on the skin and leave it feeling fresh and clean without stripping off the skin's natural moisture. It dries fast as well without leaving any sticky residue which is really perfect for those with oily skin. It also leaves a cooling scent for a refreshing start of the day!

Performance

Going back to its claims, it says that it clarifies the skin which is quite true because I notice how it instantly reveals brighter skin tone. However, it does not control oil as I still oil up as quick as my face normally does. I like that it disinfects my face very gently without any stinging or irritation but it does not totally get rid of existing pimples or even prevent them from coming. On a lighter note, it does soften, hydrate and give skin a healthier glow.

Overall Thoughts

I am actually glad that I bought this together with MB kit so in a way, I get to save up a lot. I would not say that this product should cease to exist because it is not bad at all. In fact, I like that it is so gentle and clarifying. It's just that I had very high hopes with this since it's not quite inexpensive, right? I expected that it could heal my pimples and prevent breakouts and yes, even control oil, but it did not. There was nothing so special about it considering the high price point. And there were some toners in the market that are so affordable but can compete with MB Special Cucumber Lotion in terms of effectiveness.

Setting aside the price tag, I think this toner suits whatever skin type you have because it's so gentle, otherwise, you encounter allergic reactions with alcohol-based products or is not fine with it.

Let me know if you have tried Mario Badescu Special Cucumber Lotion! Any thoughts? COmment down below!

Mario Badescu Skin Care Acne Facial Cleanser Review

Mario Badescu Skin Care Acne Facial Cleanser
Price: US $15 | P1,233
Bought from: Sephora Philippines

Breakouts are really huge pains in the ass. I keep trying out different skin care products ranging from the most affordable drugstore ones to the high end ones in the search for the most potent products that will help me get rid of my zits. Just like most people, our criteria in choosing the best products includes price point, speed of action and availability. I don't think Mario Badescu Skin Care Acne Facial Cleanser met my expectations though, neither it's worth what I paid for. After having it road-tested for almost a month now and half-emptying it, I think I'm ready to post a review about it. If you want to know more on how this product worked for me who has very oily skin and prone to breakouts, keep on reading!

Descriptions, Directions and Ingredients
Claims

Clearer-looking skin starts with the right cleanser. This is an effective—but gentle—face wash specially formulated to address acne-prone or acne-erupted skin. With Salicylic Acid to deep clean and a soothing blend of botanical extracts (like Aloe, Chamomile, and Thyme) to help improve the look of troubled skin, our Acne Facial Cleanser leaves skin thoroughly refreshed without stripping it of vital moisture. Balance, after all, is key.

This formula may be used twice daily. For best results, use this cleanser regularly along with an anti-acne regimen.

Packaging

This product is housed in a very simple translucent plastic packaging that is both unique but is evidently user-friendly. You just have to pull the dispenser upward, turn it upside down, do a little squeeze and the product will easily flow out of the bottle. Overall, the minimalist design is attractive and I like that it displays all necessary information such as the descriptions, directions for use and ingredients of the product.

Texture, Consistency and Scent

Mario Badescu Skin Care Acne Facial Cleanser has a clear and runny consistency that somehow reeks of diluted ethyl alcohol. Very unlikely. At first, I find it unpleasant because...err, who would dare (sort of) rub alcohol onto their faces? Using it overtime made me used to it though. It made me reminiscent of my previous skin care products that are alcohol-infused and realized that they did not cause me any adverse reaction whatsoever. Just thinking of that calmed me down at the very least.

Looking at it from the outside, I know that the product won't lather much on wet skin. It reminds of Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser but the latter feels softer and milder on skin. The one from Mario Badescu is just as gentle on initial use but not something I can leave sitting on my skin for a few minutes 'cause it tends to sting. Whereas, the one from Cetaphil is something I can leave on as long as I can without any irritation.

Performance

Just to give you an idea, I am using this product twice or thrice everyday using a dollop of cleanser depends on weather, amount of makeup on and how my skin felt after commuting or perspiring. It doesn't create suds and the product melts on skin but it enough to give you a clean feeling afterwards. For its cleansing ability, I did include a sample picture down below. Notice that there are still makeup residues after one wash, thus, the need of heavy duty cleansing oil or wipes if you apply makeup heavily on a daily basis.

I have tried products with Salicylic Acid before and most of them really worked well in keeping my skin clear and soft. This product claims to have Salicylic Acid as well which is known as an effective ingredient that addresses breakouts but I did not see much effect in controlling its frequency. I have been using it for almost a month now and I still have the every-clingy kinds of heads (lol)--blackheads, whiteheads, all sort of heads haha! I had used some skin care products before which (are not just cheaper but) worked very speedy in clearing out my skin so you can't blame me if I have something I can compare it with.

This product claims to balance oil production as well but I wasn't feeling anything like that. In fact, my skin is just as oily as it always has been. The only thing I personally lie about this product is the fact that it can brighten up my skin and makes it a little bit clearer. And since I have tried alcohol-based cleanser before, they are a lot and a bit drying on the skin so moisturizing will be an essential step after.

On my skin: Lipstick, Eyebrow pencil, Eyeliner, Contour and Highlight
Overall Thoughts

I have been hearing loads of positive feed backs about Mario Badescu products but this, together with some of MB products, didn't really sold me. I am not a dermatologist who can really tell you which one to buy and which one you shouldn't. But to tell you honestly, this one is gentle on skin and could be suitable to any skin type but for any significant effect to take place, you have to wait for a long time. I am not that patient enough to wait though 'cause I was able to try a skin care brand before wherein I saw noticeable difference in only a span of a week. Since I am very particular with eliminating my pimples, I am looking forward to a product that will do just what it claims.

Even if Mario Badescu Skin Care Acne Facial Cleanser didn't do much for me, I am still hoping to try some of their best-selling skin care products soon. Let me know if you have already tried this by sharing your comments down below! Happy blogging!

Human Heart Nature Tinted Lip Balm in Flame Tree Review

Human Heart Nature Tinted Lip Balm in Flame Tree
Bought for: Sale at P80 | SRP: P100
Bought from: Human Heart Nature

Here's a brief review on Human Heart Nature Tinted Lip Balm in Flame Tree which I have been loving for quite a while. You know very much how I was born with super sensitive lips that is prone to chapping and I could easily count in one hand which products worked overtime and did not cause any further damages to it. This featured product right here, by far, is the best tinted lip balm I have tried in my life. I regretted doubting it as first because I usually compare them with lipsticks which are extremely drying. The only difference is that the former has added moisture factor. But! This tinted lip balm right here is so much more. I was not sponsored by anyone to review or gush about this and I bought it with my own money. Now, it turns out to be my go-to lip balm and tint in one!

Very promising ingredients! Claims to be 100% natural!

Description as per humanheartnature.com
  • A hint of color.
Swipe on a moisturizing sheer tint for quick fixes on the go. Get fab in seconds: no mirror needed!
  • Feel-good nourishment.
This blend of cocoa butter, beeswax and all-natural plant oils keeps your lips soft and moisturized through the day.
  • Actual color register may vary depending on the pigmentation of your lips.
  • Did You Know? Cocoa butter's melting point is around 34-38°C, which is close to your normal body temperature. Because it melts upon contact with your lips, its emollient and moisturizing properties get absorbed into your skin easier.

Packaging

This product comes in three fun variants: Pink Orchid (pink), Island Kiss (coral) and Flame Tree  (red). They all comes in the traditional bullet-type sticks and has a good amount of product inside  (4g). It displays all necessary information such as the list of ingredients, expiry date and other proof of authenticity. I like that the product is very handy and because I need it every now and then, I make sure to tuck it inside the pockets of my jeans or polo and I'm good to go! No mirror needed as it's mistake proof!

Texture, Pigmentation and Ease of Application

This product has a creamy consistency, glides easily on the lips without tugging and gives a very subtle pop of color of the lips. When you try to look closely, there's tiny glitters and shimmers on it but isn't noticeable once you have it on you lips. Good thing 'cause I am never a fan of glittered lip products. I like shimmery stuff but not on my lips lol. It also feels comfortable as it has a minty effect that's kind of refreshing and does not feel heavy on the lips. This is the darkest shade among all 3 variants and looks solid red from the tube but it only gives a very sheer color once  applied. I like it this way because I am someone who prefers natural-looking makeup that are not overwhelming. However, if you picked Flame Tree with high expectation on its pigmentation, I'll tell you now that you'll be disappointed as the color payoff looks way too far from its shade on the tube and goes away easily. And since this is already the darkest shade, I assume that the rest has a very sheer pop of colors as well. Still, I love that they are wearable enough for daily use.

Performance

I have been eyeing nude lipstick since it became on trend but wasn't able to splurge for one because my lips are very sensitive to traditional or liquid lipsticks and I'm afraid I'll just waste money for them. Little did I know that the nudish tint (although claimed to be red) from this lip balm will satisfy me with a good shade that matches my skin tone while slowly doing the 'repair' on my dry puckers. The combination of all effective emollients like Castor, Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Sunflower Oil, etc. are effective enough to heal my chapped lips and reduce the look of hyper pigmentation. Use it together with the Sunflower Lip Miracle in Mint and Peppermint Lip Scrub and you will notice that the combination is powerful enough to lighten dark lips and make it soft and supple with less creases! One con though is that this product's moisture does not last very long and that a lot of reapplication daily is recommended to achieve significant effect. I don't mind running out every after few months since their price point fits my budget!

I am now having good impressions with Human Heart Nature Products and now am looking forward to try more from them! I highly recommend their lip products for everyone! Very worth the money, I tell you. Anyway, have you tried this product already? Loved it? No? Let's talk down below!

Human Heart Nature Peppermint Lip Scrub Review

Human Nature Peppermint Lip Scrub
Bought for: Sale at P140 | SRP: P175
Bought from: Human Heart Nature

I have never been fond of using lip scrubs every now and then even though I was born with super dry and chapped lips. I even could count on my fingers those particular days when it felt so firm, soft and smooth without loose skin. Back in the days, I used to make my own lip scrub made with coconut and olive oils, honey and sugar but I got tired of it and decided not to apply any at all. I was given with lip scrubs before which did not make much difference as well and so I was triggered to stop hoping for something impossible.

Just a few months ago, I was spouting how my lips felt so sore (it even bleed) due to dryness and I forgot to bring my pouch a.k.a survival kit with Vaseline on it. I asked for my office mates for something I could put on, (sorry for being so unhygienic but I felt desperate), and Celine told me that I can use her Human Heart Nature Lip Scrub. I did try it and just wow. It feels so soothing and I liked it. I know that one day I'll have to get mine as well and so when it went on sale, I go grabbed one together with their Sunflower Lip Miracle in Mint and Tinted Lip Balm.

99.85% Natural | 12g
Claims

Kissably smooth lips. A genuinely natural exfoliant that gently buffs away dry, dull skin to reveal softer, smoother lips. Sugar crystals lift away skin’s rough top layer while a rich medley of miracle moisturizer sunflower oil, jojoba oil and beeswax softens skin and locks moisture onto your lips. A hint of cool peppermint tops off the experience. Sustainably sourced: with fair trade Philippine raw sugar from Negros. No baddies: Free from parabens and mineral oil. Biodegradable: free from polluting plastic microbeads.

Ingredients, Description, How To Use

Packaging

The product is housed in a small plastic tub with a screw cap that shuts tightly so no product leaks out. Also, the box displays all necessary information such as the ingredient list, description and directions for use for conscious consumers like me. One small jar contains 12g of products inside which is way more than sufficient for lots of uses considering that you only need a very meager amount for every application. Very economical, indeed!

Texture, Consistency and Ease of Application

The product has a sticky/greasy texture which is but fine with me 'cause it leaves me the idea that my lips would feel so supple and well-moisturized after my swiping session which is what my lips call for all the time. The product comprises of sugar and lots of moisturizing extracts such as jojoba, sunflower oils and beeswax as well as peppermint extract to impart a nice, cooling effect, perfect to soothe dry lips in an instant. This lip scrub also isn't so abrasive but mild enough to remove loose skin without pain nor irritation. It is so easy to use and you just have to wipe it off with a clean tissue paper and you're good to go.

Performance

We all know that proper exfoliation is needed to get rid of dead skin cells and loose skin. I am so glad that I have Human Heart Nature Peppermint Lip Scrub to restore soft and smooth skin and with continuous use, I am hoping that I'd get to lose the hyper pigmentation on my lips. I have tried only a few lip scrubs in my life and most of them are made of homegrown ingredients and this is my favorite by far. It is so affordable but feels so rich and jampacked with moisturizing ingredients that I am always looking forward to scrubbing my lips every other day. This scrub does not fail to do its job in keeping lips looking plump and soft, lessen the appearance of dryness on the lips and restore healthy-looking kissers. With this, I am not afraid to wear matte lipsticks anymore.

Overall, for its price, this is a really good local product. I can use it wherever and whenever I want without hassle. Sometimes, when I don't have any tissue paper, I just apply a small amount and leave it as is since the sugar melts off easily and all that's left is a fine sheen on the lips. See, no mess! No need to worry because the product is edible and is safe to use whenever you need a surge of moisture!

Note: Don't lick it as saliva could even cause drier lips!

Have you tried Human Heart Nature Peppermint Lip Scrub? Care to share your thoughts? Happy blogging!

Spotlight On Korean Cult-Favorite Product: Mizon Multi Function Formula Snail Recovery Gel Cream Review

Mizon Multi Function Formula Snail Recovery Gel Cream
Bought from: a Korean online shop
SRP: P250+ for 45ml tube (prices vary)

Here's a review that has long been overdue, guys. I have been using this product for the past weeks and I think it's just right to post my thoughts about this product now. Whether you are or not an avid user of K-beauty products, I am pretty sure you've heard of the popular Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream since a lot of online shops has been selling and featuring this product on their listings. At the same time, beauty enthusiasts are going gaga, all raving about how good this product is. No wonder they are always sold out on some of my favorite shops. You probably seen its pictures somewhere else and it happened to me--prolly what triggered my desire in acquiring one and see what all the hype is about. Please scroll down for the review proper!

Packaging

The product comes in a squeezable tube with a nice combination of white and blush pink design and a screw cap. It also comes in a box which I throw away a long time ago after seeing that it was awfully squashed during the shipping period. Overall, I really like how handy the size of the tube is so I can bring it anywhere I want. However, there's no information written in English so I had a hard time getting the benefits of this product so I relied on ph.althea.kr and here's what it says: This product has multiple skin caring functions that provides:
  1. Smooth skin texture - Mucin in snail secretion helps repair a damage skin thereby creating a smooth skin
  2. In and out protection - In the inside, Centella, Portulaca, and Green Tea Extract prevent skin troubles. In the outside, they block harmful factors.
  3. Wrinkle treatment - Adenosine, which is certified for its wrinkle alleviation effects, makes your skin elastic.
  4. Free from artificial coloring, fragrance and paraben
  5. For all skin types
Written on the back of the tube
Scent, Ease of Application, Texture & Consistency

This product is really fragrance-free which is perfect especially to those who are allergic to fragrances. The gel itself is free from any dyes so it comes in a transparent color and is very easy to apply. Unlike other snail-infused products which are quite thick in consistency, a little bit sticky and is bouncy, Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream is amazingly lightweight, non-sticky and soft to the touch. The gel turns watery once you apply it on your skin and dries as fast. When you have this on, you'll barely feel it's there but you will notice how your skin seems so well-hydrated. Also, it feels very gentle and mild and does not sting. Therefore, I would say that the formulation fits oily and sensitive skin but not those that needs major hydration boost.

What about those with dry skin? For its moisturizing factor that is only quite enough for those with super oily skin like me, I would think that those with dry skin needs more to relieve them of parched pelts. Maybe, they could use this gel as a serum and apply something more moisturizing to really get rid of flaky skin. That's just my opinion though. But it wouldn't hurt to try this!

Performance

Don't you think animal/insects extracts, like Snail Slime, are a bit gross to apply on skin? A lot of people may do but for the sake of beauty, I'll go and try especially after learning all the skin care benefits that comes with snail mucus (famous for their anti-aging, recovery and hydration properties)! They seem to good to be true but whatever, this is now or never. And, oh no. The product looks decent and there's no serious ick factor to it. Just forget the sickly feel of snail goo if you find it gross, just think of how beautiful you can get when you use snail slime-infused product overtime lol.

I have been applying this product twice daily on my face and neck using a pea-sized amount. In my early 20s, I'm already seeing unsightly fine lines on my skin which makes me more particular with anti-aging products. Using this for weeks, I noticed that my skin cleared up a bit and it felt soft and smooth, definitely doing it's primary claim of recovery for past acne scars. It does not make any huge difference in the appearance of my skin (maybe not yet) but the lightweight and oil-free formulation and non-comedogenic factors are just on of the things that seriously matters. I am still getting bumps on my skin every now and then especially on red days, I even changed my skin care routine this October, but so far it keeps up and is doing well!

Overall Thoughts

The whole snail-mucus-on-skin-care-products is amazing and I am going crazy about it and Mizon Multi Function Formula Snail Recovery Gel Cream is just one of the few snail-infused products that really works on the skin! What more can you ask for? It's doing it's job pretty well but remains to be reasonably priced! I definitely would repurchase and this is just highly recommended! Let me know your thoughts about this product down below!

Human Nature Sunflower Lip Miracle in Mint Review

Human Nature Sunflower Lip Miracle in Mint
Bought for: Sale at P160 | SRP: P199.75
Bought from: an online shop

I am no stranger to Human Nature as a brand that carries a lot of cult-favorite skin care items which caters to the whole family's needs. Not too long ago, they released a few products including this Sunflower Lip Miracle which comes in two variants as of today: Mint and Peach. I got myself the Mint one just because I really like products with cooling scents and I think it would best suit dry and chapped lips.

I really have sensitive lips. I can't withstand lipsticks, much less tints. I find them very discomforting on my lips to the point that it makes my puckers bleed. For years, I have been dependent to petroleum jellies just because they are the only products that soothe and heal my lips. A lot of people are asking me (even mom), why I don't wear lipsticks even though I have some and I would often say "I do, sometimes", "I'd love to" but always ends up with a "but". I also don't collect them no matter how much I looked forward to just because I wouldn't use them any way. And while I am taking care of my skin, I think it's just as proper to take good care of my lips--the reason why I bought some lip care products recently including the Human Nature Tinted Lip Balm and Scrub which I will be sharing with you on my next blogs.

Packaging

The product is housed in a tiny, squeezable tube with a very simple yet attractive designs that perfectly fits my palm and pocket. The tiny hole and curvature on it makes it easier to apply the product on the lips without having the need to touch the product. It also contains 10g of products inside. Not bad 'cause a little goes a long, long way already. I like bringing it everywhere as I can easily tuck it inside my jean's back pockets lol!

Texture & Consistency

The product comes in transparent white shade and has the consistency of a sunflower oil--lightweight and non-greasy. Unlike other lip balms or glosses, this one has a thinner texture and does not feel uncomfortable on the lips. Depends on amount, you won't even notice that you have it on, really!

Scent

Smells like menthol. Just like that. It very much reminds me of dynamite which I find really refreshing and delicious. Sometimes I am tempted to lick my lips haha!

Performance

I have been using this product for weeks now and I never fail to use it several times a day. This is what I use before going to bed as a lip treatment and as a lip balm whenever I'm off to work. Since I am in an air-conditioned room most of the time, my lips are more prone to drying so retouch is necessary. With overtime use (together with my Human Nature Peppermint Lip Scrub), I noticed that my lips has significantly turned lighter and dark spots and hyper pigmentation which are probably caused by frequent bleeding and wounds, are reduced.

The mint ingredient on this product is enough to soothe pain on the lips and oils on the product gives it some healthy sheen. It also feels nice to apply this after scrubbing away dead skin cells. One thing I noticed about this product though is that the moisture do not last very long, thus, reapplication every now and then is necessary. Also, I still need to use it along with my Vaseline Petroleum Jelly to heal my wounds faster.

Overall Thoughts

I appreciate that this product has all the goodness of Sunflower and Castor Oil, Beeswax and Vitamin E which are proven effective in doing all sorts of moisturizing and hydrating benefits for a healthy skin, still, I would say that Vaseline Petroleum Jelly works better for me. Don't get me wrong! I love Human Nature Sunflower Lip Miracle because it was able to make a significant change in terms of the appearance of my lips (hello softer and pinker lips!) but it still did not match the moisturizing factor of Petroleum Jellies. If you have less dry lips than mine, I bet you would find this product perfect, not to mention that it's quite affordable and is widely available!

Does Human Nature Sunflower Lip Miracle interest you? Care to share your thoughts down below?

Review: Sooper Beaute Bleaching Compound

Hey, guys. It's a lil bit devastating that I can't think of a proper introduction for my blog post right now. So I guess I just had to skip through introduction and proceed with my review about Sooper Beaute's Bleaching Compound that I just bought recently and one of my splurges of the month. (Isn’t it an introduction already? Phew.)

If I am to comment about the packaging, well, I must say that at first look, you won't think of it as something luxurious or expensive. There's nothing special about the packaging too. It might need a little bit of change though. I don't like the sticker, maybe they should try to make it at least printed on the cover of the tub. However, the packaging does not bother me as it won't affect the content inside naman.

I got two tubs since the moment I purchase it, it was on a Buy 1, Take 1. One tub retails for PHP850. It's quite expensive, yeah sort of, but the 100g of the product is enough to last a long time and longer depending on how and where you use it. Suppose you are just using it on your underarms or bikini area (which you can), a tub would approximately lasts up to 6 months since a little of the formula goes a long way already. Longevity wise, this is worth the price.

The expiration date is written on the plastic seal and it says that it is good for less than a year. This is just one of the disadvantages that you can get from using products formulated with 100% natural ingredients. They expire faster since they have the littlest preservatives (to none). However, it does not bother me as I think I could finish the tub before it expires. Or can I? I just said earlier that a little goes a long way!!! Anyway, I’m gonna apply it all over my body to save time. LOL. You don’t want any waste of the product, do you?

Just like what I have said, it can be used ALMOST everywhere on your body. I asked the saleslady, Miss Anna, if I could apply the product on my face and she said no. I was a bit disappointed so to make sure, I vibe their online shop and asked the same thing, and they replied, “Yes, you can.”

The consistency of the formula is rich although it has only seven (7) ingredients written at the base of the tub. This is good for me as I can guarantee that there is less chemicals in the compound. I don’t need to worry whether there are harmful chemicals or none. Anyway, anything much does real harm, right?

The texture’s seem to be like that of a whip cream. It smells mild and good with a hint of baby powder(?). I guess it really is concentrated as there are minimal ingredients and it tends to sting my face (but not my body) a bit. The pain is tolerable though. It stings maybe because I am also using their cell renewal cream (peeling cream) alternately with the bleaching compound.

Upon application, you’ll notice that the formula is hard to blend and apply resulting to sharp edges and would cling to your epidermal layers. Again it would not bother me as I apply it as a night mask for my body (including my face) and nobody would see me like an espasol by that time. Haha. I guess bleaching creams are like that, no?

The white cast on your skin would give it a brightened complexion although you may find it a bit drying since it aim to remove mild scarring. It needs scrubbing as well as you can't just easily remove the product by just washing your skin with soap.

Application: I would let the formula stay on my skin overnight and would eventually wash it off the next morning. I do it every other day as advised by the saleslady of Sooper Beaute.

Key Ingredients: Alpha Hydroxy Acids and Beta Hydroxy Acids which ‘exfoliate the skin, reduce the look of wrinkles, smoothens uneven and pigmented skin and stimulate the growth of elastin and collagen (both of which depleted with age’).

After a week’s use, I can say that this product brightens my skin. I don’t have that many scar on my body (mostly are pimple and acne marks) so my only concern is the uneven akin tone I got long ago from my swimming class and staying under the sun without protective sun screens although when it comes to the miniscule scar on my left thigh, I notice that it hasn’t lightened a bit. Maybe I should apply the product on affected areas only or areas which needed more lightening to notice results apart from other parts of my body.

All in all, this is a good product. Maybe, I just have to continuously use it to notice more significant effects. After all, a week isn’t too soon to judge the product, right? I'll update you anyway.

So I recommend this product to anyone who wanted a product that can be applied even on the most sensitive parts of the body and to those who wanted to use a bleaching cream which is safe to use since it is paraben and hydroquinone free.
