Most-Raved High-End Makeup and Tools That Made It To My 2018 Wishlist

In this post, I will be sharing with you what are the stuff I got on the lookout for this year. These are all high-end products (and which means prices are way beyond my budget but who cares lol) that I plan on saving up for. Sorry about the title though--it must have caused you confusion. So what's in each of these that made me root for them this year? Well, aside from all the remarkable feed backs about them that we've all been bombarded the previous years, claims are quite promising that I don't want to miss them for the world.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

This just sets everything in place without adding weight or texture so makeup won't look cakey. The fine pigments give a soft blur effect as well that gently hides imperfections.

Marc Jacobs Full Cover Re(marc)able Foundation

Need I say how remarc-able the coverage of this foundation is without the heavy feeling? Im in shade Bisque Light, by the way!

Benefit Porefessional Face Primer

The all-time favorite primer from Benefit that prolong makeup and blurs pores effortlessly! I'm yet to try the new Pearl Primer too!

Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation

I already have this foundation in my previous Sephora haul, unfortunately, I got the wrong shade. I think the most suitable shade is in Light 43 Warm since Light 45 Warm is too peachy for me.

Nars Orgasm Blush

Just the perfect long-lasting blush that complements every skin tone, no wonder it's the #1 blush in U.S.!

Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation

This is also one of the products that offer good coverage and is long-wearing. I think I'm in the shade 4.0.

Sigmax Kabuki Kit

Sigma brushes has all the right tools to makeup perfection and believe me I'll hoard if ever, just if ever, they go on sale!

Conair Infiniti Pro 1875 Watt Salon Performance Dryer

I have cut my hair short so keeping it flyaway-free is actually a challenge for me. Having a good, affordable hair dryer that doesn't damage the hair is very much welcome.

Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer

I have a travel-size bottle of this primer and I'm loving it because it keeps oil at bay and make my base makeups last  longer than usual!

And that's it for wishlist! What are the high-end makeups you're planning to get this year?

💕💕💕

Sooper Beaute Castor Oil Review

Sooper Beaute Castor Oil Review
Bought for: P200+
Bought from: Sooper Beaute

So I found out I'm growing my leftover draft posts and found this product waiting for me to write a review on. I already had this months ago but it's only now did I had the chance to share my thoughts about it. In fact, I bought it from Sooper Beaute's SM Manila Branch which was now closed. That long. I have nothing much to say about it though since I have tried a few Castor Oils from different Instagram shops and they're pretty much the same.

They say that Castor Oils has natural antibacterial and antifungal properties and is high in Vitamin E, minerals, proteins, and Omega 6 and 9 beneficial fatty acids. Its unusually high ricinoleic acid ratio makes it beneficial to skin and hair. It helps hair grow out strong and fast. I do not have extreme sparse eye lashes but I still want it to look fuller and thicker prolly what pushed me to take a chance on it.

The packaging looks really chic and the dropper makes dispensing product so much easy. A bottle has only 15ml of oil inside but due to its viscosity, a little shall go a long way already, I doubt it will be emptied so soon. Unlike other oils, Castor Oil has thick consistency which I do not really like to apply on my skin as it would turn greasy and sticky, let alone in my hair. I wouldn't follow it even if it claims to be beneficial to the skin. I do not prefer putting it to my hair as I do not want to end up with greasy mane. No way. Turns out that I only use this every bed time for my lashes and eye brows to help my hair grow out. Finishing bottles of Castor Oil made no much difference to be honest or maybe I still have to consume more bottles, use them religiously to really achieve a significant effect.

On the other hand, its deep moisturizing properties is really good for those with extreme dry skin whether on the eye, face or body area as its mild, gentle and non-irritating since it is an organic and natural product of Sooper Beaute. In fact, I like using it on my hands and feet where my driest skin is at. What I usually do is mix an ample amount or a drop on the lotion and voila. Moreover, I do not have a problem with the scent. It smells nutty, but okay.

If you wanted to grow out your lashes, you really have to be so patient and probably use Castor Oil along with other tested ingredients that will help make your lashes full and thick! Still, we react differently to products so maybe it will work better on you. Let me know if you already tried this traditional way of lengthening hair strands and if it works, okay? Happy blogging!

Sooper Beaute Lip and Cheek Stains in Vamp and Sweetie (Creme and Fluid Tint) Review

Last December, I had to hoard lots of Sooper Beaute's products including their lip and cheek tints. I plan on reviewing it a long time ago already but they ended up on the bottom of my stash (no idea) except for the Vamp in the formula of Creme because it's not just my favorite, it's in fact both my and my girlfriends'! To be honest, we love the color payoff so much that we were totally saddened after we figured out SB is not anymore producing any of these. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think SB pulled these products out in the market already. Forgive me for still writing about these tints, I just can't get over it.

I forgot the original price of each but when they went on sale (up to 70% off), I went gaga and immediately purchased these ranging from only P60-P80, if my memory serves me right.

There are two shades available for every formula. The first formula is in Creme which has a mousse-like consistency. The pink one is named Sweetie while the red is Vamp. You would easily memorize it because pink fits best for innocence (Sweetie) while red signifies boldness (Vamp). The second formula is in fluid tint, runny/watery-like in consistency and dries easier. Again, the pink one is Sweetie, the red is Vamp.

All four has that familiar doe-foot applicator which makes blending easier. They also have aztec-printed stickers for the body except the cover for fluid tints are plain silver in color. The whole packaging is indeed travel-friendly too. You're asking for the scent? I can't explain but for me, it's not really that off-putting.

My most favorite just like what I have said is the Vamp in Creme. It has a bright red shade that can go as true as red depends on the amount you put on your lips. On lazy days, applying tiny amounts for a little skin toning is fine. If I feel like fixing myself more than the usual, then I would go for a deeper shade. That's the magic with tints, you can control the shade you want your lips to appear.

The photo above shows that swatches of each product and after I wipe them away with handkerchief. Just look at the lovely stains! Again, my favorite is the Vamp in Creme because it has a good color payoff, its longevity is okay, and it leaves a natural stain on the lips. Its counterpart is what I hate the most though--the Vamp in Fluid Tint because it feels hot and a little painful on lips (when you have chapped lips), it leaks, and it's the hardest to control in terms of consistency (you know what I mean).

If you read my previous blog post about Etude House Dear Darling  Lip and Cheek Tint, you would know how I'm not so much into pinks and I prefer red all the more. However, if I am to choose between the Sweetie in Creme and Sweetie in Fluid Tint, I would go for the tint because the creme appears almost like nothing, like you don't put anything on unless you apply on too much amount.

One thing I don't like about it is that it's like the rest. All the tints I've tried seem to be so drying on the lips. Unfortunately, I have very sensitive lips to the point that it gets dry and chapped even after a few minutes of applying any lip products. ANY LIP PRODUCTS!!! Tints, lipsticks, some lip balms, name it, I hate it. Lol.

Overall, I like Sooper Beaute Lip and Cheek Stains in Vamp and Sweetie! They were affordable (but because they were on sale), has a good color payoff and survival period on lips. They are also free from harmful chemicals because the seller is an advocate of safe, natural and organic products. I know they were already pulled-out, still, I do hope they restock on Vamp in Creme because it has been a holy grail for me and my friends!

Til my next post! Happy blogging!

Sooper Beaute Pore Minimizing Serum and Pore Eraser Toner

Bigger pores are either part of genes or an aftermath of severe breakouts. You know, when you try to squeeze/pop these annoying zits and it would leave a crater (I'm exaggerating lol) on your face? I know, sometimes you might not help it but you have to resist yourself because you can never bring back large pores into smaller ones. This is why, I find some products a little deceptive when they say that they can reduce the size of the pores with all these great-sounding ingredients. Maybe they could conceal, yes, but not really give a long-term effect.
So what I am going to review this time is Sooper Beaute Pore Minimizing Serum and Pore Eraser Toner.

Pore Minimizing Serum, 30g
Pore Eraser Toner, 50ml
Bought for: P330 and P250 (at 70% off)
Bought from: Sooper Beaute

Both the Pore Minimizing Serum and the Pore Eraser Toner are in a plastic bottle except the former one's with a pump dispenser. I find the packaging cute actually except they are too expensive given the size and if bought with its original price. Good thing, I got them when Sooper Beaute's on sale.

***
SOOPER BEAUTE PORE ERASER TONER
***

Our Pore Eraser Toner contains Witch Hazel Extract that is Eco-friendly and has a lot of skincare benefits.

  • It’s a natural astringent that helps control acne & oily skin.
  • It helps reduce inflammation & oiliness.
  • It’s very mild & can be used by those with sensitive skin as a pimple busting solution.
  • It tightens pores. Have lesser visible pores with continuous use.
  • It’s very refreshing for the skin. Use it when your skin feels dirty, oily & if it feels hot.
  • It improves skin hydration.
  • Perfect to help in treating sunburn.
  • Has natural anti-inflammatory properties that can ease psoriasis and eczema.

It smells almost like nothing and works well in hydrating the skin. It also has Witch Hazel Extract and Aloe Vera Extract known to for their moisturizing, hydrating, soothing and healing properties. To be honest, except for the ingredients, I find nothing special about it.

***
SOOPER BEAUTE PORE MINIMIZING SERUM
***

Pore Minimizing Serum is a treatment that regulates oil, evenly distributing it to your skin. It refines visible pores and prevents breakouts without drying your skin too much. It also provides a smooth canvass for a perfect makeup base. It has active ingredients like Hibiscus Flower Extract, Witchhazel Extract, Collagen and Vitamin C.

.

First thing, I have no idea how concentrated of active ingredients these products are. It smells almost like nothing too just like the toner but unlike it, you will feel that the serum is working.

It has a gel-like consistency, lightweight but sticky on first minute upon application which subsides, however, on the succeeding minutes. It provides an oil-free surface without drying the skin. It also creates a feel of thin film-like barrier on the skin which is probably a good thing because it traps makeup and other harmful pollutants and hinders them from entering the pores. It also acts as a good base under makeup, controlling excess sebum and keeping you oil-free for hours. In my case, I tend to be oil-free for two hours, thus, retouching is a must.

The only downside, however, I have for this product is that it actually break me out. Maybe because of the thin film it creates on my skin which clogs my pores. Therefore, I was only able to use it for more or less than two weeks.

***
OVERALL PERFORMANCE: 2/5
***

I know that Sooper Beaute is a brand which focuses on using natural ingredients on their products yet still transparent on their ingredients list. But again, infusing great-sounding ingredients does not mean that they yield great results too as they really vary on the skin type of an individual.

Since it clogged my pores and caused me breakouts, I don't think I would repurchase. Also, it reduces the size of pores (because of the film) temporarily upon application, but did not give me noticeable results though. On a lighter note, both the Pore Minimizing Serum and Pore Eraser Toner hydrates, soothes and moisturizes my skin well without sting. Because of its fragrance-free formulation and mild application, it's very gentle on the skin.

Remember that what might not work for me may work for you and these products deserves second chance so if you are eyeing them, go for it! You may never know if this might be the best products for you. Til my next post! Happy blogging!

Hanna

My Top 8 Product Picks for January

The reason for this blog post is to share with you, guys, my favorite products for January! Products featured here were either bought from online or offline shops, just some random purchases for daily needs.

I know that if you are a makeup or skin care junkie (like me), you have these personal picks of the month that stand out among the products in your stash and you feel like you have to gush about it and tell everyone why they are worth the rave. So what's mine? Here they are!

Avon Sheer Passion Very Captivating Fragrance Mist, Avon, P399
This is probably the best-smelling fragrance mist that I have ever had in my life. This actually belongs to my mom but when I told her I'm obsessed about it, she eventually gave the bottle up to me. Hoho!

Vaseline Lotion Healthy Even Tone, SM Department Store, around P150-P200
What I like about this bottle is that it's full of moisturizing properties with triple sunscreen. It does not feel heavy or greasy too when applied so it's perfect even during hot and humid season where your skin needs moisture and sun protection the most.

Vitress Hair Cuticle Coat, Mercury Drug Store, P87
The best thing about this is that after washing my hair, I need not to use conditioner nor leave-on and just go straight to it. It's everything my dry hair needs right now. For full review, read here.

Sooper Beaute Underarm Brightener Anti-Perspirant Spray, Sooper Beaute, P250
I'm currently in my second spray bottle just because. It prevents underarm darkening, chicken skin, and odor. Two-three spritz per underarm is enough to make you feel fresh all day! It feels like you are putting water on your underarms so it dries fast enough. For more information, you can read my review here.

Maybelline Dream Satin Skin Two-Way Cake, Beautymnl, P350 (on sale)
I love how it keeps my makeup fresh for hours. It mattifies my skin without making my foundation/bb cream cake unlike other powders in a compact do. It feels very lightweight too and can be use even on it's own. You can read my full review here.

Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara, Beautymnl, P150
Its longevity power add up to its uber affordable price are the reason why it made me loyal to this mascara ever. Imagine, I washed my face at least twice and there were still mascara residue left. The only downside might be is that using of makeup remover is a must.

Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm, Beautymnl, P129
For only a hundred and twenty-nine bucks, this is a total knockout! I use it day and night to keep my lips from drying. Its lingering scent makes me want to lick it too! View my full review here.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation, Maybelline counters, P250 (on sale)
This is the best foundation I have ever used, by far. It's very lightweight and could offer light to medium coverage. It does not make my oily face look like an oil slick and does its job to cover minor blemishes, uneven skin tone, redness and mild scarring, I use it everyday and it's perfect for the weather we have here in the Philippines. Full review is up here.

So those are my top personal faves for this month! Let's see if they maintain their ranks next month!

Minimalist Skin Care Routine for January

Clear and healthy skin is an evident result of having good skin care. We have different options [available in the market] as to which products should we include in our everyday routine to keep our visage in its best look. The most important thing is that, we must choose well what products are best to keep and throw away at the same time when it does you no good.

The past few months had been a torture to my skin since I have undergone chemical peel and such just to get rid of my pimple marks. Little did I know that results were not actually permanent. So I got tired of promises and decided to turn my too many face products down to only four, keeping everything extremely simple.

So yeah, if you wanna know, here's what I use for my face everyday!

The Face Shop Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam in Acerola
Price: PHP265
Bought from: The Face Shop, SM Manila
Application: Day and Night

Choosing the right cleanser, for me, is the most important step in taking care of the skin. As much as possible, I prefer using cleansers that cause me no breakout and does well in removing any makeup residue. I could, in fact, skip scrubbing and moisturizing given the right cleanser for my oily skin.

St. Ives Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Scrub
Price: PHP204
Bought from: Watsons, SM Manila
Application: Night

As of the moment, St. Ives have the most special place in my heart. Not just it makes me feel like my face is squealy clean, it also made me forget about toning. Yes, I know toning is the second step in good skin care, but what does toners do? For me, they just 'extra' clean the pores. What do I need toners for when I have St. Ives Scrubs?

Sooper Beaute Tomato Serum
Price: PHP250
Bought from: Sooper Beaute, SM Manila
Application: Day and Night

You definitely cannot imagine how oily my skin gets after minutes. I always wonder if my sebum production is ever normal (lol) or if they ever get tired of producing too much oils. I guess I can't do anything about my genes but to stay away from oil-based moisturizers. That's why I prefer serums. Aside from not leaving my skin feeling greasy, in a way, I am keeping my skin moisturized. REMEMBER, OILY SKIN NEEDS TO BE MOISTURIZED TOO.

Sooper Beaute Tinte BB Cream in Fair
Price: PHP250
Bought from: Sooper Beaute, SM Manila
Application: Day

This step is almost part of my everyday make up, but still I included this product here. This is because this BB Cream of Sooper Beaute is like an tinted moisturizer slash base makeup. When I don't want to look too made up, this will already do the trick. I could, in fact, go out and use only this four products on my face.

So that's everything for my skin care routine! Because of them, I am proud to say that I am breakout-free for a month without spending huge! What about yours? How do you keep your skin healthy this year?

Hanna

Review | Sooper Beaute Cell Renewal Cream (for the body)

Guess, I am such a hoarder of products that has their expertise in exfoliating all the dead skin cells in any part of the body. To prove it, I bought the Sooper Beaute Cell Renewal Cream last month, the one intended for underarms and intimate parts of the body use rather than face.

Sooper Beaute Cell Renewal Cream 20ml (PHP250)

I bought this product on their SM Manila branch for only PHP75 since that time, it was on sale though the original price is PHP250. Not bad, huh. So it comes in a pump bottle, allowing you to control the amount of product to be dispensed out of. Also, being in a pump bottle is uber hygienic.

According to Sooper Beaute, this can be used to exfoliate skin on the underarms and other intimate parts to achieve clearer, whiter, softer and smoother skin with peeling effects.

You might confuse this Cell Renewal Cream (for the body) from the other Cell Renewal Cream of Sooper Beaute. The other variant comes in a circular small tub with 10g of content and is ONLY intended for face use. The face cream is actually thicker in consistency compared to this with a serum-like viscosity.

So you can see that it's almost clear in color. The amount showed above is the amount which I put on my underarms. A little goes a long way so ONE PUMP per underarm is enough. It takes time to dry but leaves no greasy after-feel. Upon using it for a month or so, I noticed that hair growth became slower, thus, you don't need to shave or pluck often.

I notice the peeling effect after at least a week or less. I just noticed it when I applied my Sooper Beaute Underarm Brightener and Spray, used my fingers to spread it evenly, then noticed that there are dead skin cells starting to get removed from my pit. Whoa. Then, after that, a clearer and more even-toned skin is what you are going to see! You'll notice that your underarms are a lot softer with lesser bumps. However, you might want to pay more attention to darker folds as your skin might not peel equally, therefore resulting to uneven skin tone.

You can apply it once a day (every night) and use their anti-perspirant in the morning to achieve maximum results. During use, I did not experience any stingy or tingling sensation on my skin so this must be really formulated with mild ingredients.

This is a perfect maintenance product to those who have already achieved having fair underarms and a good product to try out for those girls out there who wanted to have lighter skin without the sting.

Don't forget to subscribe! Happy blogging!

Hanna

Review | Sooper Beaute Kojic Papaya Soap

I have used tons of whitening products in my whole life. Back when I was in grade school, using my mom’s soap has been a sneaky habit of mine. Who wouldn’t? We all wanted to get fairer and lighter skin, don’t we?

Yeah, I used to dream of having Korean-like skin—all dewy, fair and spotless effortlessly. Thinking that I will achieve this, I ‘stopped’ by almost every whitening soap available in the market just to know what’s worth raving about them. This journey to finding the best Kojic soap is unstoppable, almost impossible. And for that, I must try Sooper Beaute Kojic Papaya Soap!

You can purchase it for only PHP in every Sooper Beaute branches nationwide. They have up to 70% off on their products so this is just PHP19 for a 90g of product.

Just like other Kojic and Papaya-infused soaps, it also comes in a deep orange shade and smells almost the same. Being a product of an organic brand and free from harmful chemicals, this is something that is worth a shot. It has Glycerin, Papaya Extract, Kojic Acid, Aloe Vera Extract, Vitamin E that all do wonders to achieve healthy and lighter skin.

I cut mine into four because I find it more practical and saving this way. I hate to see my soap melts!
In my case, a bar would already last me for at least 3-4 weeks. Unlike other Kojic Soaps, which when use frequently would turn shades lighter, this bar would stay as it is for the rest of time or until it’s all used up. This, I think, constitutes to how concentrated every bar is. However, just like other Kojic Soaps, it melts sooooo easily.

I love how it lathers so much and how it would clean my face and body without leaving it dry. There’s no micro-peeling too which I experienced with other Kojic soaps so this must be mild despite it having Kojic Acid. For the lightening, I can’t say much as I use a lightening lotion and scrub together with this soap and THERE’S NO SIGNIFICANT LIGHTENING EFFECT YET. However, it does leave skin bright and radiant after every use! It also lightens minor blemishes on my cheek area from pimples, one of the things I really love about it!

What I love?
-brightening
-non-drying
-non-irritating
-fades minor blemishes
-non-peeling
-no harmful chemicals
-affordable

What I don’t love?
-easily melts

Kojic Soaps never break me out so I could use them for, like, forever.

For more information, you can visit them on their Instagram page. You can also order online and they now accept credit card payments! ‘Til my next blog post!

Review | Sooper Beaute Pimple Away Solution

There was never a time when my pimples fail to appear on the surface of my skin. No matter what I do, no matter what products I use or how I change my skin care routine, they just keep on coming back. They never get tired and I am.

One of the products I got on my Sooper Beaute Mini Loot is this Pimple Away Solution.

Sooper Beaute Pimple Away Solution (PHP250)(PHP75)

I've bought this bottle while it's on 70% off in their SM Manila kiosk.

The packaging is just fine, no leaking of the product even when placed upside down. It also has 60ml of the product inside so it can lasts you up to two-three months depending on the amount that you put on your skin.

There's complete information about their accounts so you'll know where to ask queries. However, the ingredients list isn't presented at all so you won't know what it's made of, neither some directions for use. All that you'll know is that it has some lemon extract known to lighten skin and prevent acne-formation.

There's also an expiration date sticker on the bottom. Just be careful not to remove the sticker so you'll know when it's time to throw this out.

For the application, it is advisable to use every night together with their Pimple Away Soap, Day and Night Cream to see visible results.I asked Ate Anna (saleslady at their SM Manila kiosk) about this so that's how I knew.

Do you know Maxipeel? For me, this solution performs just like that (without the lightening part though). It causes your skin to peel to reveal your fresher skin underneath. It comes in transparent form, smells like typical solutions, so there's nothing much to say.

This product caused me to peel but using their soap, day and night cream just tortured my skin big time and eventually, the sting became intolerable so I stopped using. There's no significant lightening though but I noticed that I got lesser pimples on my days of using it. The only trouble it gave me was the pain and that's it. Once my skin recovered, I may still use it and give it another chance.

So yeah...tried using it? Share it here with me!

By the way, Sooper Beaute's products still at 70% off so start hoarding now!

Happy blogging!

Hanna

Review | Sooper Beaute Underarm Brightener and Spray

I honestly been wanting to post my review about this underarm duo weeks ago but I want to be fair and give these products some justice first before I tell you what my experiences are with them. First, I got these two from Sooper Beaute Kiosk at SM Manila when they were having 70% discount for all of their products. Originally, one retails for PHP250 but I got them for only PHP75/ea. Anyway, keep on reading if you want to know more about them.

UNDERARM BRIGHTENER:

Sooper Beaute Underarm Brightener 15g (PHP250)(PHP75)

These underarm brightener promises to smoothen chicken skin, whiten and gently exfoliates underarms with papaya and chamomile extracts, alpha arbutin and citric acid.

It is also advisable to use at night or alternately with their Bleaching Compound.

Just like other Sooper Beaute products, their containers are too big for the amount (15g) but anyway, it's sturdy enough and not fragile, so storing has no problems at all.

It also has the expiration date below to know when it's ready to throw out. However, there was no direction for use or complete ingredients list so you may never know what's in it for your underarms.

The consistency's comparable to that of a whip cream and is thick and creamy. It smells nice as well without a whiff of alcohol. A little goes a long way so a small tub could definitely last you up to two months or three at most.

Verdict: Sad to say, this is one product of theirs that did not meet my expectations. I am really glad that I got it for only PHP75 or I'll forever hate myself for buying it at PHP250. Although it makes my skin soft and smooth, I don't think it ever did anything to chicken skin and uneven skin tone--the problem we always have, girls. Actually, I don't really think it ever did anything to my pits though. Definitely, I'm not getting my hands into it again for like...forever.
.
.
.
UNDERARM SPRAY

Sooper Beaute Underarm Brightener Anti-Perspirant Spray  (PHP250)(PHP75)
This promises to brighten the skin, smoothen and reduces chicken skin, soothes and even out skin tone with papaya and chamomile extracts and alpha arbutin.

I apply it every morning after shower. I love how easy it is to apply this product--one to two spritz for each underarm are enough. It has a transparent, watery-like texture that dries quickly without the greasy feel. It also does not make your light shirts turn yellowish over time.

As you can see, it comes in a spritz bottle--both an advantage and drawback. It's nice since application is easy as pressing the nuzzle yet droplets would tend to go anywhere. I once spray it to the side of my face. Lucky me! >:(

You can also guarantee that it's free from harmful chemicals like parabens.

Verdict: This is a good deo spray. It's convenient to use and is travel-friendly given its size. This will not annoy you since it won't leave you feeling sticky unlike other roll-ons do. It's as if like you didn't put anything on your underarms once it dries out (in seconds after application). However, just like their underarm brightener, even though I used them both for over a month now, I do not see any significant lightening on my underarms. There are still uneven portions and chicken skin.

People may think Sooper Beaute is my favorite brand of organic skin care, but my reviews are all pure and honest without any bias. So yeah, have you tried this duo? You can share it here with me and let's talk about it!

Happy blogging!

Review: Sooper Beaute Pimple Away Day and Night Creams

Moisturizing is an essential step in order to achieve a healthier skin and prevent premature aging.

Since I have very oily skin, I tend to neglect this part (adding some more of these greasy drugstore moisturizers into my face) since it never fails to cause me excessive oil production which eventually would lead to unwanted results like pimples or if severe, acne. Like by the end of an hour, my face already resembles an oil slick. As a result, I have to frequently dab some face powder or blot it to remove the oil.

That's when my search for moisturizers that would not leave my face greasy began.

One of the products that addresses pimples is the Sooper Beaute Pimple Away Day and Night Cream--my subjects to review.

Sooper Beaute Pimple Away Day and Night Cream (PHP250/ea)(PHP75/ea)

Just like the previous products of Sooper Beaute that I recently reviewed, I got both also with a 70% off discount when I had the time to hoard most of their items at their kiosk in SM Manila (4th floor). It's still ongoing until today only (November 27-30)!

These come in a pump bottle so application isn't messy nor unhygienic. You can even control the amount that you want to apply on your face. In my case, 3-4 pumps is enough to cover my face and neck. Yes, I do apply it on my neck as well since I sometimes get a breakout even on that area.

They have expiration date on the bottom part. However, there was no ingredient list on the packaging so you may never know what's inside this bottle. The only ingredient I know that they have is lemon extract which is good for pimples. I've read it on their Instagram page.

Also a pump is good for consumption for only a year. This is just a not-so-bothering drawback when using an all organic/natural ingredients in products. They tend to not last so long.

I really have no idea what's the difference between the two except the night cream is yellowish in color while the day cream is creamy white and is thicker in consistency. Their scent's with a hint of acid yet they aren't strong for my face. Guess my face really that thick, huh? Lol. But seriously, no stingy sensation after application. They even soothe my skin after their Pimple Away Solution and Soap tortured my skin like a hell of big time!

They are also easy to blend and dries in a matte finish! I do not even have to dab some powder on my face because it's already matte. It's also lightweight on the face. I apply it after tomato serum so all the sheen and shine are gone!

Even when my menstrual hormones loses over this. During my two weeks of use, I did not experience even one single acne which has been reliving on my face since only time knows! Although I still get some butlig butlig (tiny pimps) on my face every now and then. Be informed that they appear every time I get to my red days. Who knows what will happen if I use them on ordinary days?

And I've said earlier that I apply it on my neck which also get pimples every now and then. Upon using this, I DID NOT experience having tiny heads on my neck. AS IN NONE.

Conclusion? So far, these are the best creams for pimples that also work for me. In fact, they are the only creams which promise a pimple-free skin that do what it claim and not just promise.

Til my next post! And please do not forget to subscribe! Happy blogging!
