Review: Sooper Beaute Cell Renewal Cream

So I just figured out that I actually reached over 10,000 views! And because of that, I really got motivated to post a review about another product of Sooper Beaute which is their Cell Renewal Cream--one of the things I bought from their SM Manila Kiosk and included in my Sooper Beaute Mini Loot blog post..

I never intended to purchase this product but I have so much pimple and acne scars that I became so desperate to find that product that would do wonders for my skin. Has it been answered? Read the rest of this blog post! >:D

First let me say something on the packaging. One thing I don't like about their packaging is that it can be deceiving. What do I mean by that? A small tub contains only 10g of the product yet the tub could fill actually at least 5 times. It is really big that at first you would think it contains more product, but no, it has only 10g. A small tub costs PHP180. I find it really expensive given the small content. On the other hand, just like their Bleaching Compound, a little of the product goes a long way. But I am really grateful that I got it on Buy 1, Take 1, so basically I just bought it for only PHP90.

Sooper Beaute Cell Renewal Cream (peeling cream) claims to boost skin cell turnover while you sleep. How did this product do it? According to Miss Anna, this cream aims to peel your skin to get rid of the uneven skin tone and mild scarring that you get from popping your acne or pimples. It's actually true as I experience micro-peeling while using this product.

I use it alternately with the bleaching compound every night before I go to sleep and use their brightening creme in the morning. Upon waking up, my face looks radiant although with a layer of oil slick all over my forehead, chin and nose (the areas on my face where I excrete so much oil). It's embarrassing but oh well, I would just wash it off using their Black Soap.

Compared to drugstore face creams, this has obviously lesser chemicals in it. It is also hydroquinone and paraben free as part of their dedication to promote the usage of natural ingredients on their products. As you can see, it has Rosehip Oil that quench dry, sun damaged skin and help to improve the appearance of burns, scars, wrinkles and stretch marks, Retinol Acetate which is a water-soluble form of vitamin A in skin care products that acts as an anti-aging ingredient, Salicylic Acid which is used to treat mild to moderate acne, Chamomile Extract which is long known for its soothing, calming and anti-inflammatory benefits, and Citric Acid which is a wonderful product for treating several skin problems like mild acne, pigmentation, clogged pores, sun tanning, wrinkles, and dark spots.

Just like other Sooper Beaute's product, it has no directions for use so you might still need the help of the salesladies. You better ask them or you can contact their online shops for inquiries.

Just like other natural-made products, it expires faster since it has lesser chemicals compared to drugstore products.

There are also contact details: hotline, email, instagram and facebook account which you can visit to know more about their skincare line.

The texture's comparable to facial foam. A little goes a long way although, even small amounts, when applied to the skin, leaves it feeling greasy. I have oily skin so it triggers oil buildup more. Although I don't know how it would feel for those people who have sensitive and normal skin. I do not even recommend it to sensitive skin since it stings when applied but would eventually subside after a minute or so depending on the amount that you put on your skin. Hence, for me, it is forgivable since this is a peeling cream and I'm quite used to it. It hasn't been a problem at all.

The scent might quite be overpowering to those who are very particular with the scents of products. For me, it smells mildly acidic maybe because of the concentration of the product's ingredients. Again, this does not bother me as long as it does not affect it's effectiveness.

Given that I experienced mild peeling, I noticed that my skin brightened a bit. Just a bit. I still have pimple marks all over my face (which I really abhor!) though and I'm still hoping that upon finishing this tub, I could see more noticeable and significant results. After all I paid PHP90 for this! LOL.

All in all, this is a good product. Worth using all over again if you are patient enough to accomplished that blemish-free skin! I'll just update this if ever it does miracles on my face soon. Hahah!
