Sooper Beaute Lip and Cheek Stains in Vamp and Sweetie (Creme and Fluid Tint) Review

Last December, I had to hoard lots of Sooper Beaute's products including their lip and cheek tints. I plan on reviewing it a long time ago already but they ended up on the bottom of my stash (no idea) except for the Vamp in the formula of Creme because it's not just my favorite, it's in fact both my and my girlfriends'! To be honest, we love the color payoff so much that we were totally saddened after we figured out SB is not anymore producing any of these. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think SB pulled these products out in the market already. Forgive me for still writing about these tints, I just can't get over it.

I forgot the original price of each but when they went on sale (up to 70% off), I went gaga and immediately purchased these ranging from only P60-P80, if my memory serves me right.

There are two shades available for every formula. The first formula is in Creme which has a mousse-like consistency. The pink one is named Sweetie while the red is Vamp. You would easily memorize it because pink fits best for innocence (Sweetie) while red signifies boldness (Vamp). The second formula is in fluid tint, runny/watery-like in consistency and dries easier. Again, the pink one is Sweetie, the red is Vamp.

All four has that familiar doe-foot applicator which makes blending easier. They also have aztec-printed stickers for the body except the cover for fluid tints are plain silver in color. The whole packaging is indeed travel-friendly too. You're asking for the scent? I can't explain but for me, it's not really that off-putting.

My most favorite just like what I have said is the Vamp in Creme. It has a bright red shade that can go as true as red depends on the amount you put on your lips. On lazy days, applying tiny amounts for a little skin toning is fine. If I feel like fixing myself more than the usual, then I would go for a deeper shade. That's the magic with tints, you can control the shade you want your lips to appear.

The photo above shows that swatches of each product and after I wipe them away with handkerchief. Just look at the lovely stains! Again, my favorite is the Vamp in Creme because it has a good color payoff, its longevity is okay, and it leaves a natural stain on the lips. Its counterpart is what I hate the most though--the Vamp in Fluid Tint because it feels hot and a little painful on lips (when you have chapped lips), it leaks, and it's the hardest to control in terms of consistency (you know what I mean).

If you read my previous blog post about Etude House Dear Darling  Lip and Cheek Tint, you would know how I'm not so much into pinks and I prefer red all the more. However, if I am to choose between the Sweetie in Creme and Sweetie in Fluid Tint, I would go for the tint because the creme appears almost like nothing, like you don't put anything on unless you apply on too much amount.

One thing I don't like about it is that it's like the rest. All the tints I've tried seem to be so drying on the lips. Unfortunately, I have very sensitive lips to the point that it gets dry and chapped even after a few minutes of applying any lip products. ANY LIP PRODUCTS!!! Tints, lipsticks, some lip balms, name it, I hate it. Lol.

Overall, I like Sooper Beaute Lip and Cheek Stains in Vamp and Sweetie! They were affordable (but because they were on sale), has a good color payoff and survival period on lips. They are also free from harmful chemicals because the seller is an advocate of safe, natural and organic products. I know they were already pulled-out, still, I do hope they restock on Vamp in Creme because it has been a holy grail for me and my friends!

Til my next post! Happy blogging!
