Beauty Pitch Organic Lip and Cheek Stain in Red-Orange Flush

You know how committed I am to use organic and natural lip tint products or do you? So yeah, when it comes to lip tints, I prefer organically made one. I can't say if it's a trauma or what but it started when I bought a drugstore lip tint before and all it did was dried my lips, made it chapped. And you know what's worst? It made my lips look dull and uneven in color, darkened, yes.

So I guess it's safe to say that Beauty Pitch Organic Lip and Cheek Stain in Red-Orange Flush would not let my lips end up on the same terrible phase.

Organic Lip and Cheek Stain in Red-Orange Flush 10ml
Bought for: Free (P170)

You can see that it comes in this bitsy bottle. I actually find it cute and unique. Most of the tints are stored in tubes or what you call it? The one with a doe-foot applicator? Yeah, that's what I am talking about lol. Instead, it has a brush applicator which isn't very useful or not. I mean, application would be much precise if it has a better applicator than this, wouldn't it? Still, it's not something to worry about as you can use your fingertips in blending the color.

Beauty Pitch Organic Lip and Cheek Stain claims to be infused with fruit pigments to give you that glowing flush and is long-wearing.

As you can see, it is a combination of red and orange but the red is more prominent if and only if you put too much on your lips because it will be more of intense in color and would turn orangey when applied sheer.
The best thing I love about lip tints is that they can provide you with a lipstick-like pigmentation without the sticky or heavy feel. With lip tints, you don't get to worry about transferring it on glasses for example, thus giving you the freedom to do whatever you want with your lips because the color won't smudge. Haha!

I actually have to commend its staying power because it lasts me up to 5 hours even with drinking and eating activities. Also, it's not a pain on damaged lips unlike other lip tints (which actually stings). However, you have to make sure to blend it as fast as you can, most especially if you are to apply in on cheeks, because it dries SO FAST.

Overall, I love Beauty Pitch Organic Lip and Cheek Stain! It might not come in handy at times because of the packaging, but it's something I would always prefer to bring on travels. Thank you, Beauty Pitch PH, once again, for choosing me as one of the winners to get ahold of this! 'Til my next blog post!

Hanna

Beauty Pitch Milky Body Scrub

Here's a review on Beauty Pitch Milky Body Scrub.

Beauty Pitch Milky Body Scrub, 100g
Bought for: Free (P180)

This is one of the giveaway prizes I have received from Beauty Pitch when they conducted a contest through their IG account and I was chosen to be one of the winners. Thank you so much for letting me try this!

By the way, Beauty Pitch is one of the sellers in Instagram that produces skin care and cosmetic products with only organic and natural ingredients to make sure that what a buyer puts in her skin is nutrients-infused and is harmless.

See, I am an avid user of body scrubs and it has already become my go-to stress reliever after a humdrum day loaded with tedious works. I cannot go for a spa or massage daily so I resort to it instead to relax my tired and dull skin.

Caution: It's not really edible so keep your mouth shut, it's salty. ;)

This scrub smells heaven, at least for me though it has a pungent scent. Because milk and fruits are the top scents that provide me such kilig moments. Yup! For your reference, it smells just like this kind of milk, the one you put at the top of your..uhm..whatcha call it??? Wait, I am talking about that flavored crushed ice that would not be complete without the powdered milk on top! Ugh!!! That's my favorite but I just can't remember the name!!! Anyway, this scrub smells like that!

I even compared it to A'bonne Spa Milk Salt and this one wins over the latter! It's more yellowish in shade, smells better, produces a creamier texture when slabbed on the body, yet I find the salt more abrasive which is just neutral for me. I mean, I would not hate it just because it has thicker granules, right?

The A'bonne Spa Milk Salt smells so good and does well in sloughing of dead skin cells (that's why it's a top raved) but I did not ever think that a better milk scrub even exists.

I love how it makes my skin bright, soft and smooth every wash. It's not cream-based but it leaves my skin polished and moisturized without over-drying it. Did I say it's abrasive? Oh yeah, scrubs that are not cream-based are abrasive for my skin so I make sure to only use sufficient amount of this scrub, not too much as they easily irritate my skin.

Just a little precaution, avoid using this on open wounds as it could sting...like hell! I tried to apply it on my face (loaded with pimples) but I wasn't able to stand the pain for long so I had to rinse it off, not waiting for everything to melt. That's because it has dead sea salt.

Overall, this is a really good product. It retails for only P180 so...not bad for girls on a budget huh! I might repurchase only upon figuring out that this might be the best milk scrub in the market. Happy blogging!

Hanna

Review | Beauty Pitch Tinted Lip Balm in Snow White's Kiss

Here's a review on Beauty Pitch Lip Balm in Snow White's Kiss, one of the prizes I received from Beauty Pitch PH's Instagram giveaway. Wait, I think I have already heard of a shade in Snow White's Kiss before! Okay, I couldn't really make out the brand but I think it's pinkish red in color. Anyhow, let's proceed!

Bought for: Free (P180)
From: Beauty Pitch

When I figured out I am going to receive another lip balm, one of the beauty basics I am currently obsessing with right now, I couldn't think of anything else I'd love even more from the package. Well, it's housed in a simply designed lip balm stick, so easy to retract and the cover shuts tight with a click.

The product smells nice at least for me, smells like raspberry I think? And is in a beautiful shade of deep red. Who would resist this shade? Well, not me! It reminds me of timeless women look which would be perfect to use even on a daily basis.

It has a very moisturizing consistency, thus, leaves a very glossy finish which I really don't like. So what I usually do is get some tissue paper, dab it on my lips to remove excess shine and it would already stay for a long period of time without retouch (at least four hours) and would turn into a more natural look for the succeeding hours! The formula blends well on the lips too and but I find the color a little sheer on first application so another coat might be needed if you want to sport bolder kissers.  The swatch below took two coats to achieve that color. If you want a fuller red, I'd suggest you use lipsticks though.

If you have dull, dry and chapped lips, then it will be a good alternative to drying lipsticks. It retails for only P180 so it's not much pain on the ass. Haha!

Anyway, here's my awkward smile wearing the lip balm! It took me several coats to achieve that coverage but at least it's buildable, isn't it? It almost look like heavily applied lippie!

And here's what it looks like upon removing the excess color and shine! See how natural my pinkish lips look! Just please excuse my damaged, dry, chapped lips, my mustache, my pores, my obvious pimple scars and everything that's pretty awkward in there huhuh! I wear nothing but my lip balm. Beauty Pitch is just in time sending this stick to me as I badly need something to repair the skin on my lips! Thanks so much, Beauty Pitch!

And oh by the way, it's in shade Snow White's Kiss, sort of like gorgeous cherry-bitten in shade except it does not look anything like Snow White's lips.

Anyway, you can get yours only by ordering online at Beauty Pitch PH, again, for only P180! Happy blogging!

Hanna

First Impression: Beauty Pitch + Skin Care Products

Two weeks ago, I have received my giveaway prize from Beauty Pitch, one of the IG shops accustomed to producing potent products that are made from natural ingredients. By saying so, I did not even think twice whether to join their giveaway or not as I have nothing to lose but much to gain if I win as there are tons of skin care products at stake. I believe they pick winners randomly and with my luck, I was chosen as one of the victors lol.

Beauty Pitch specializes both on basic cosmetic must-haves and skin care products such as artisan soaps and scrubs, products that I am currently most interested in. So initially, I got hooked up, shamelessly stalked their profile and that was actually the reason why I find out about the giveaway, Hoho!

Anyway, being a manufacturer of organic products made them on top of my preferred skin care brands on Instagram--for me, a growing platform for IG bloggers and sellers to interact with. Kudos, Beauty Pitch! And let's not set aside the fact that they are a local brand. What a talent, indeed.

Enough talk, I'm gonna show you my prizes! OMG!

Honey Oatmeal Soap (P180)
Noni + Green Tea + Mint (P180)
Organic Cures (P180)
Pink Himalayan Salt + Milk (P180)
Pore Care Soap (P180)
  • Honey Oatmeal Soap claims to exfoliate dead skin, remove impurities, soothe skin allergies, smoothen and moisturize the skin.
  • Noni + Green Tea + Mint Soap claims to be an anti-aging , anti-pimple and has properties to relax, soothe and cleanse the skin with Noni Plant Extracts, Green Tea, Natural Rosemary Mint, Essential Oil and Vitamin E.
  • Organic Cures Soap claims to prevent acne, bacteria, reduce redness and inflammation and cleanse deep with added Kaolin Clay.
  • Pink Himalayan Salt + Milk Soap claims to detoxify, revitalize skin, exfoliate, and aids in skin allergies with its active ingredients: Pink Himalayan Salt, Organic Goat's Milk, Shea Butter, Secret Essential Oil, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera Extract.
  • Pore Care Soap claims to tighten pores, prevent skin aging, clear skin blemishes and regenerate the skin.
There's actually one more soap--the Snow Soap-- but it's not included in the giveaway prize. Anyway, there are six organic variants which target specific skin need and all smells great especially the Pore Care Soap and the Noni + Green Tea + Mint Soap. I guess my favorite will be the Pore Care and the Organic Cures Soaps because I am pimple-prone and has oily skin and large pores.

I am really looking forward to try everything the soonest but I still have tons to review yet.

Milky Body Scrub 100g (P180)

The Milky Body Scrub claims to scrub off dead skin cells, gives skin smoother and softer finish, whitens skin with frequent use, treat skin rashes, itchiness and skin irritations with Organic Goat's Milk, Dead Sea Salt and Oats.

I have used this once and I love how it leaves my skin softer and smoother with its yummy fragrance! Unlike other milk scrubs (without cream base) that I have used, this one is gentler.

Pure Unrefined Shea Butter (P250)

It is advisable to use for those who have multitude skin problems and can be use as a moisturizer and topical cream for wrinkles, skin asthma, eczema, diaper rash, acne, psoriasis, etc with only the raw, pure and unrefined shea butter.

I mostly use this to tame my eyebrows since I find it a little bit thick for face use and I also use this to moisturize my dry palms and feet. Anyway, credits to Ms. Juls (shopperhoarder) for the trick! I've learned from her about this secret use of Shea Butter for eyebrows!

Tinted Lip Balm in Snow White's Kiss (P170)
Red-Orange Flush (P180)

I actually love both the lip balm and the tint as they are both long-wearing! However, the only thing I find off-putting about the lip balm is its glossy finish. So what I usually do is apply then dab some tissue paper on my lips and it would already give me a natural-looking pinkish lips without the dryness.

The best thing about the Red-Orange Flush is that it's super pigmented. A little goes a long way. However, the packaging is a little uh-uh.

Anyway, that's all for today! See you in my more detailed blog reviews of each of the featured products here! Happy blogging.

Love,
Hanna
