Mischka Derma Secret Derma Cover SPF30 in Fair Review

Mischka Dermat Secret Derma Cover SPF30 in Fair, 20 ml
Bought for: Free | Original Price: P200
From:  Mischka Derma Secret

While I am waiting for the last episode of Goblin (a Korean drama) to be downloaded, I decided to post another review which is due a long time ago already but given attention only just now. It's not really intentional but it's only today that I decided to take a look at my drafts because I am too lazy to upload new photos pf beauty products to write something about. Yes, I do have a long queue of to-review posts in times like this lol. Anyway, let's get started!

For those who haven't heard of Mischka Derma Secret, it's not a drugstore brand but an organic one that was established on 2012 and is currently growing popularly over the internet, particularly, on Instagram--a social platform which also has been a home for entrepreneurs like Ms. Mich, the owner of the aforementioned shop. To date, they cater to women of all ages through their eco-friendly beauty and makeup products.

Claims: Creating flawless complexion to reducing pore size, healing breakouts, correcting uneven skin tone and lightening dark spots. 100% dermatologic formula from nature and science.Dermatologist-tested. Guaranteed high-quality, pure, safe and effective. Paraben-free. Proudly made in the Philippines.

Ingredients: Water, Titanium Dioxide, Pyleneglycol, Glycerin, Cetyl alcohol, Talc, Camella Sinesis Leaf Extract, Aloe Barbadensis and Fragrance

I won't comment much on the packaging itself because it's just how organic products are stored nowadays-in pump plastic bottles. This one though is almost the size of a hand sanitizer in a small spray bottle so I can bring it anywhere I want without worrying how much space it would consume in my makeup pouch. If I am not mistaken, this derma cover is available in shades light, fair and tan. I got the one in fair and I thank Ms. Misch for giving me just the right shade.

The product formulation is very similar to foundations and is neither thin nor thick in consistency, so I'm thinking that this actually is formulated to be one. I'm kind of confused whether it's a BB or a tinted cream, a foundation or what because it's not clearly labeled. It's just said to be a derma cover and nothing else follows. If I am to categorize it, I would say it's a BB Cream to Foundation formula because it gives at least a coverage.

The product is mildly scented, something like baby powder, which I like. I prefer using my fingers when applying this and it's not giving me a hard time as it's easy to blend with a seamless powdery finish. However, I find that if I layer it over sunscreens or creamy moisturizers, it tends to cling on the folds of my skin and creates a patchy look so I advice that if you are to use it, use it alone or under gel-type moisturizers and serums only. You don't have to worry though because it has a whopping SPF30 which gives skin enough protection under the sun. The best thing about it is its lightweight formulation and sheer coverage which looks nice for a natural makeup look.

I don't know if I described it properly but surprisingly, I find myself a lot of times reaching for this product during hot days because it does not feel tacky and irritating when worn even after hours. However, it sucks on the longevity department. It already wears off my skin for more or less two hours. Liquid products are not something I would reapply (unless I wash my face), so to prolong the product itself, set it with a good setting powder.

Overall, I like Mischka Derma Secret Derma Cover SPF30. I highly recommend it to whatever skin type you have. Right now, I don't care if a product is effective or not as long as it won't break me out and I am happy to tell you that this product did nothing to trigger any adverse reaction, much less breakouts. A little of this would go a long way too (I use half a pea-size for the whole face and neck), still, it looks a little expensive for its size but it's worth the price.

Tell me if you want to purchase yourself or if you already have it. Let's talk in the comment section down below! Happy blogging!

Mischka Derma Secret Seaweed Peel Off Slimming Mask (Best for Cellulite) Review

Mishka Derma Secret Seeweed Peel Off Slimming Mask
Bought for: Free | Original Price: P250

Claims: It will stimulate removal of fat from the tissue; create natural glow and healthy radiance for all skin; replenish the skin with moisture.

Ingredients: Green Tea, Laminaria Algae, Seeweed Extract

I just finished shopping on HTP, yes, again. I know I am supposed to stop because I am saving for some high-end skin care now that I am getting remarkable amount of zits on my face and I freakin have no idea why, but I can't seem to stop. It's Saturday so it's shopping day and Sunday too of course because that's the time HTP uploads new items. Anyway, I came to thinking that maybe I drop by and upload this review of Mishka Derma Secret Seeweed Peel Off Slimming Mask which was sent to me by Ms. Misch few weeks ago.

While I am not really proud of having a petite frame, I kind of feel grateful for not being stout as well. Actually, I once had been chubby in my life especially on grade school but I guess the school stress and different fitness programs I underwent (CAT) really contributed to me sinking in size. Because of this, I am no longer have to consume slimming products which meant a great deal for me. You might think of what I'm gonna confess as something that's so ridiculous but I gotta have to use this slimming peel-off mask on areas where I needed slimming: cheeks. Crazy, right? I know. My body could blew up like a balloon or shrink like popsicle sticks but my cheeks stay the same. People usually like to joke around and pinch it saying it's cute that way, lucky them they don't have it. Now I had to admit, this is my greatest insecurity to date. Thanks, Ms. Misch, I turned hopeful! Hooray!

I'm familiar with chili as something that could turn the face into the perfect V everyone likes but I haven't heard of seeweed nor algae to do the trick. While I'm always up for new discoveries, it still strikes me as something amazing especially now that even local organic brands participates in beauty-related innovations. Anyhoo, let's start the review!

Okay, I like the packaging, it comes in an easy-squeeze tube which makes dispensing easy as product won't be stuck at the bottom like on bottles. With this, you'll be rest assured that the contents fall off effortlessly because it stands upright. The cover shuts tight with a click so any spilling is avoided. It also displays the active ingredients, benefits, directions and other claims so we'll all have our reference.

This has a good amount of product inside considering that I only use this on small areas of my face. However, if used on the entire body, I think a tube would last you no more than a week.

When dispensed, a mint-colored, paste-like in consistency, liquid will come out. For me, it smells really good and again, I am bad at describing scents but if I am to guess, it smells like eucalyptus--something minty. What I usually do is wash my face, pat it dry then apply a generous amount of the product on my whole face so it's not just my cheeks that will benefit as according to its claim, it also creates natural glow and healthy radiance which is true.

Seconds after application, the minty effect will take action causing a little stingy sensation which would somehow turns refreshing once dried. Sometimes, I would find myself teary-eyed so what I advise you to do, if you plan on getting one for yourself, is avoid applying this on areas around your eyes and mouth because it hurts (also on areas where you have scratches). What I like about it is that it really relaxes my skin and my senses with the cool effect it imparts which could last few more minutes after you had your mask on. In my case, I still feel the cooling effect by the time I apply my moisturizer. Sometimes, I think I put my moisturizer in the refrigerator only to remember it was the mask taking effect.

When dried, I don't usually peel it off as it does not dry to an elastic kind of mask like the one iWhite has or maybe you should really put a thick layer of the slimming mask on your face to achieve that "one-time peeling". Rinsing off would be my resort as the mask tends to rip apart when peeled. Aside from the cooling sensation, this mask makes my skin look radiant, soft, smooth, moisturized and glowing that instant!

Finishing the tube for two-three weeks (using it every night) did not significantly make my cheek turned slimmer. Either my cheeks are meant to be that enormous or I would have to use the peeling mask for another weeks to really notice a significant change on my cheek size. OR this product is not really meant for face use (but nothing's written on the sticker as to where to properly use it, right?). Either way, I think Mischka Derma Secret Seaweed Peel Off Slimming Mask is a good facial mask that would restore your natural and healthy radiant skin in an instant! What else can I say? As it did not break me out nor caused me any irritation, I would still think it's worth a repurchase.

Tell me when you decided to try one for yourself! If you have more inquiries, don't hesistate to visit them on their Instagram and Official Website! Happy blogging!

Mischka Derma Secret Tomato Lightening Detox Glow Review

Mischka Derma Secret Tomato Lightening Detox Glow, 100g
Bought for: Free | Original Price: P250

As usual, my cold and cough really hit me hard but same old reason: I'm trying to be as productive as possible. Sometimes, I feel like writing soothes away all pain so here I am. It feels really nice talking to people who's got the same interest as you, you think so too? Well, without further ado, here's my thoughts about Mischka Derma Secret Tomato Lightening Detox Glow!

Without any flattery involve, I like all the products Ms. Misch sent me. Aside from being cruelty-free (because all of them is composed of naturally-infused, plant-derived ingredients), they are also affordable and guaranteed effective. I think with all the available testimonials from the people who have already tried them, there's no way you're gonna think of them as some piece of sht which are full of claims that are trashy. I think we all have our fair share of disappointments from both cheap and expensive products, right? You pay for them and they give you nothing, sometimes worse results.

Fret not, may I present to you my current holy grail scrub, Mischka Derma Secret Tomato Lightening Detox Glow! I think I introduced it twice already? Lol. Anyway, yes, this is a scrub. I had no idea that it is until I opened the tub and figured out it has some sugar or salt granules in there. Upon opening, you'll be surprised at how the product looks so creamy and yummy with accompanied sweet scent. While I am bad at describing scent, I am pretty sure you're gonna like the scent of this detox glow! As you can see, it comes in a tub and when opened, it still have a sort of seal which I think is useless because the liquid inside spills. Yes! It breaks my heart to figure out one time that when slightly tilted, the liquid comes running out so be careful and put it upright.

Claims: Frequent use will make your skin smoother, whiter and helps the hydration process. Refresh your skin after wash. 100% Dermatologically-tested. Paraben-free. It has 100% dermatologic formula from nature and science and safe for pregnant and lactating moms. Proudly made in the Philippines.

Direction: Avoid exfoliating by scrubbing just a couple times a week. If you have sensitive skin, consider a lighter touch. Leave to your skin for 20-30 minutes then rinse with water.
Ingredients: Lycopene, Lactic Acid, Essential Oils, Alpha Hydroxyl Acids, Alpha Arbutin

I would appreciate it better if the ingredient list present as in all of the ingredients that makes up the scrub and not just those active ones. Still, I am pretty sure it's safe, eco-friendly, and paraben-free.

The product itself has a pinkish color (which is freakin cute!) and has a creamy liquid that is not totally mixed with the scrubs. Tendency is, you would have to stir the formula to balance them out. Actually, a little of the product goes a long way already. In fact, a pea-sized is enough especially if you have sensitive skin and you prefer the ones that are not so abrasive. Anyway, the creamy formula of this scrub helps alleviate its abrasiveness level. Swear, you would like how it feels on skin! Application is so smooth because the product glides well on skin. When rinsed out, there is no greasy residue either.

Since I prefer cream-based scrub for my face (because I find dry scrubs abrasive), this one has been a total holy grail for me. It is recommended to make it stay on the face for 20-30 minutes that is why it can also double up as mask but in my case, I would just normally let it sit for about 5 minutes because I do not have all the time in the world lol. Wish I have. Huhu. But no matter how much time you spend with it, the effects are not something to ignore. Upon rinsing, you will instantly feel that you skin is softer, smoother, firmer, clearer and more radiant and hydrated than before. It also did not dry out my skin. Using it for weeks now did not cause me any irritation except for the menstrual breakouts I have right now. I am not depending on this product much as it does not claim to be something intended for acne-prone skin.

Overall, Mischka Derma Secret Tomato Lightening Detox Glow is something that is worth gushing about. This actually has been my most favorite among all the products Ms. Misch sent me and probably now ranks next to scrubs which I have grown to love! Mischka Derma Secret Collagen With Enrich Lift Action Review

Collagen Enrich Lift Action 30ml
Bought for: Free | Original Price: P300

Since I am turning 20, I think my skin now is matured enough to be deserving of some anti-aging products. Mischka was right on time in sending me this Collagen Enrich Lift Action which I eventually came to love!

As you can see, it comes in a very simple pump bottle packaging which is very travel-friendly. The pump has that certain control especially in measuring the amount to dispense. In my case, one pump is sufficient enough for my whole face and neck. I like that it has the description and the ingredients for consumers who wanted to make sure that it is free of any harmful ingredients.

When pumped, a serum-like consistency liquid will come out. It has an iridescent sparkling pigments on it which kinda looks cute for me! In fact, they give a radiant glow on skin instantly. It also has some tiny yellow-colored beads on it which I presumed to be Collagen? But which I am not really sure of. I think I gotta ask Ms. Mich lol. Anyway, the scent is pretty nice (sweet and citrusy).

The serum blends effortlessly on skin and dries fast. It also feels so refreshing because of the minty effect it gives the skin which could last at least a couple of minutes. I swear, you will love the feeling more when you place your face in front of a fan or an aircon! It also dries into matte so this is perfect for those with oily skin. However, it could also be super hydrating for those with dry skin. And don't worry, I think it would suit any skin type because of the gentle formula it has.

After using the product for a week, I noticed that I had few breakouts on my forehead, cheeks and chin and on my neck. I really can't tell if this product caused them or my sudden change in cleanser was the culprit. Then I remember, I was having my menstruation the following week!

Waking up is something you would look forward to because you will see the effects it could give to your skin as you will get noticeable results such as more glowing, softer and smoother skin!

Overall, I like the scent and its power to soften the skin but the fact that it was not able to dry out my pimples is a turnoff. Still, I had to remember that it is not intended for acne prone skin. If you want an organic and natural-infused products, I highly recommend this one to freshen up, get rid of tired and dull skin! Til my next post! Happy blogging!

Tomato Lightening Detox Glow 100g (P250)
Seaweed Peel Off Slimming Mask (P250)
Oatmeal Goat's Milk and Honey Soap (less than P100)
Derma Cover in Fair 20ml (P200)
Collagen With Enrich Lift Action 30ml (P300)
Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel (P50)

All from: Mischka Derma Secret

I have always been wanting to get my hands on Mischka Derma Secret Products and be able to review them. Good news happened and I was left starstruck with all these goodies on a basket. My, Ms. Mich sent these over! Thank you so much! Indeed, one of the most generous sponsors I had!

The first product that she sent me is this Tomato Lightening Detox Glow which is intended for scrubbing away dead skin cells on the skin. I think the scrubs are made of sugar or salt and tiny poppy seeds which does a good job in exfoliating and softening my skin. And it smells so nice too! You can't really ask me as I am that bad in describing. Huhu.

The Seaweed Peel Off Slimming Mask comes in a tube which dispense products effortlessly. When applied, it imparts some minty feel on skin which is painful at first then turns so refreshing once it dries. I have nothing against its scent too. The peeling is the most crucial part as you have to carefully peel the dried layer or it would tear apart. Hahah! I love peeling (masks)!

The Derma Cover in Fair comes in a small pump bottle that is indeed travel-friendly. A little would go a long way already. Don't put too much or you will end up looking a face full of white cast. Therefore, be careful how much you apply on. Scent wise, I love it! It also gives skin a radiant glow with a light coverage and unnoticeable cakiness!

I have not used the Oatmeal Goat's Milk and Honey Soap yet but it smells so creamy and yummy!  Can't wait to use it on bathtime!

The Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel is perfect for travel purposes. Not to mention how I can't go on a day without antibacterial products! This hand gel does not reek of alcohol, instead it smells fine. Not to mention how affordable it is!

My most favorite among all the products are the Collagen With Enrich Lift Action intended to make skin look younger and healthier. I decided to use anti-aging products because I am turning 20! It has micro-shimmers on it which makes skin looks so radiant and glowing. It smells nice too, for your information! It dries seconds after application and leaves a refreshing feel without stickiness.

And yes, that's all for today! You can visit Mischka Derma Secret (link above)  for more information. Til my next post!  Happy blogging!
