Bask Beauty Pores In Order Balancing Toner

Bask Beauty Pores In Order Balancing Toner
Bought for: Free | Original Price: To be updated

I have a friend who has a favoritism towards toner among other skin care products. Truth be told, I never thought it was possible to feel both shock and amazement all at the same time. Why toners? I mean, I could live without toners but never soaps or creams, but...seriously, why toners? In a few seconds after she said that, I got bombarded with tons of ideas and questions as a beauty blogger.
Well, up til now I still get no answer but upon receiving toners from my generous sponsors and buying some, I was able to list down the things why toners are a must. It could be probably a multifunctional skin care product on our vanity area. We just did not realize it earlier.

Toners could be cleansers which removes makeup, dirt and oil that weren't brought down by our usual facial wash/soaps. Toners (in different formulas) could be hydrators and moisturizers that balances our natural skin ph level and provide hydration to newly-cleansed, dry skin. Do you think of something more? Talk to me via the comment box!

Anyway, while we talk about toners, here's one product that I would highly recommend to her and to everyone: Bask Beauty PH Toner.

The toner comes in a typical transparent plastic bottle without any frills whatsoever. I believe that it was one of the newly-packaged toners delivered to consumers. You can check out Bask Beauty for the updated packaging.

The consistency, texture and color is comparable to water--it's pretty much odorless too which is just fine with me as I prefer it towards perfumed ones because they may contain parfum/fragrance that might irritate the skin.

When you spritz some on cotton swabs (3 spritz for me) and apply it on the face, you can see that this products glides easily and dries fast too. It is easily absorbed by the pores, cleanse them slightly (not too much as I can hardly see dirt on cotton after using this) and moisturizes and hydrates the skin big time. This toner really balances skin's natural ph without stripping off its natural moisture. Some toners may leave my face like flat matte but this one makes my skin look healthy with that dewy glow but does not trigger severe oil production.

After finishing the bottle, I felt like I had a much clearer, brighter and healthier skin. This product did not totally reduce the size of my pores nor the time I oil up, but good thing, this never broke me out. The naturally and organically-derived plant extracts and other actives may contribute to it.

What I like:

-Moisturizes skin
-Hydrates skin
-Dries fast
-Makes skin looking clear, bright and healthy
-Made of organic and natural ingredients
-Affordable
-Fragrance-free
-Did not cause breakouts
-Soothes skin
-Gentle
-Suits any skin type

What I don't like:

-None

Overall, I love Bask Beauty Pores In Order Balancing Toner and I highly recommend it to everyone. So would I repurchase? Sure, but I am currently trying out lots of products today to be able to post reviews. For now, this toner is on my top to-buy list to run into whenever I am looking for toners that do not trigger too much sebum production and won't clog pores.

Bask Beauty Rub Me Good Bath Salt

Rub Me Good All Natural Bath Salt | P150
From: Bask Beauty PH
A good mix of dead sea salt and milk giving just the right amount of exfoliation and infused with fruit acids for that after shower glow. Can be used with your favorite essential oil or honey for that extra relaxing bath experience. Can be used both for face and body, avoiding the eye area.

I really appreciate the cute and sturdy packaging with a white twist-able cover except it has no information attached on a sticker or anything like that so I would not know the ingredients presented on this salt scrub. It would be a turn-off for curious people like me who likes to read labels. Anyway, I know Bask Beauty's working on it though!

I actually am in love with the fact that this scrub comes with a cute reusable wooden spoon that I can use to scoop up salt scrubs from the tub. It turned out to be more convenient to use because I can use wet hands without melting the salts.

The scrubs has this purplish dye that stays on skin even after taking a bath. I don't know if the color has something to do with the efficacy of this product but I kind of don't like it that purple tint stays on the skin (where you first applied it) because it does not look that good. It was a chance that I considered using a cleanser/toner afterwards because when I used this on my face, there was obvious dye that was wiped out by the cotton ball!

This Rub Me Good Bath Salt smells really nice! If you love the smell of milk, they you'll definitely love this too!

I like mixing it with honey and/or oil for best results since I find dry scrubs a little abrasive on the skin with all the grain edges. I admit that I hate this kind before but it was not until I have discovered that they are best when combined with honey. Girls, I really recommend that you do the same! You'll be surprise at how smooth, soft, bright, moisturized and hydrated your skin will become instantly! I know you love sniffing and touching your own pelts!

Overall, I like this scrub! It does not cause me any skin irritation nor trigger allergic reaction. I also recommend it to any skin type just as long as you can tolerate the level of abrasiveness of dry scrubs. Just be careful and try to apply it with light hands and I know, you'll be fine! Try and see the results for yourself by ordering only at Bask Beauty PH.

Happy blogging!

Bask Beauty Prima Blush Face and Body Glow Bar

Been weeks since I last updated my blog. :( Sorry! I have been really busy with my OJT that I can't find time publishing another blog post. Anyway, onto my stash, I find this soap given to me by Bask Beauty PH which I have been using two-three weeks now and it feels like I owe you a review about it this time so keep reading for more information!

Bask Beauty PH
Price: P180

-With Aloe Vera Extract

-Moisturizes without giving the greasy feel. For men, good to use after shaving to soothe skin.

-Treats acne. Aloe contains 2 hormones, Auxin and Gibberellins. These two hormones provide wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Giberellin in aloe vera acts as a growth hormone stimulating the growth of new cells. It allows the skin to heal quickly and naturally with minimal scarring.

-Fights aging. Aloe leaves contain a plethora of antioxidants including, beta carotene, vitamin C and E that can help improve the skin's natural firmness and keep the skin hydrated.

-It lessens the visibility of stretchmarks.

-Prima Blush--all natural face and body bar.

-Deep cleansing, brightening, rejuvenating and is non drying.

I would really like to commend the packaging. It looks really nice with that subtle floral effects and detailed information about the soap. It gave me the slightest hint that the owner does love pastel-colored stuff (like me!) just by looking at it!

This soap suds well and does not melt easily. It effectively cleanses the skin, removing deep-seated dirt and oil. Using the soap both on face and body did not, in any way, caused me irritation except on the eye area so let's get this straight: try to be more careful when lathering it around your eye area because it could pretty much sting or as much as possible, try not to open your eyes when washing your face to avoid the burning feeling.

With that being said, this soap did not cause me to breakout as well. Truth be told, I never had any major or cystic breakouts (even while on my period!) when I include it on my skin care routine.

For the aging and stretchmarks claim, I cannot comment much about it since I don't have any substantial proof to show you guys. Maybe because I'm still a teen and I need more time to see when I aged and I still need to use a few more bars to notice if I will really get lesser stretchmarks.

This soap, even when it burns the eyes, did not cause my skin some drastic peeling and redness--still gentle for my face, I guess. However, given my oily skin, I find that this soap could still be drying to the skin so moisturizer is a must.

After every wash, I notice that my skin becomes clearer, brighter, softer and smoother! Overall, I won't hesitate repurchasing this soap but I'm up to try other variants too! I can say that I love this soap and would highly recommend it to anyone (except for dry-skinned gals), as long as you can effectively counterattack the dryness that this soap could give. Anyway, Bask Beauty has face moisturizers, so you can just get one for you and voila!

What I like:

-Gentle on skin
-Deep-cleansing
-No peeling and redness
-Prevents breakouts
-Remove pimples
-Makes skin bright and clear
-Scent is not too overpowering
-Lathers well
-Does not melt easily
-Affordable
-Cute packaging
-Made of natural ingredients
-Vegan and cruelty-free

What I don't like:

-Could be drying
-Burns the eyes

Thank you so much Bask Beauty for sending this soap over! Love love! :)

First Impression: Bask Beauty + Products

Prima Blush Face and Body Glow Bar, 100g (P180)
Rub Me Good Bath Salt (P150)
Toner (P165)

All from: Bask Beauty PH

Bask Beauty PH is one of the fast-rising skin care brand on Instagram that promotes skin treats that are handcrafted in Manila  with products only made of natural ingredients and is cruelty-free.

As always, I got familiar with their brands because of other IG blogger's reviews whom I follow earnestly and who raved so much about how awesome Bask Beauty products are. I really got so kilig when they decided to send me some love in the form of these awesome skin treats!

1. PRIMA BLUSH FACE AND BODY GLOW BAR

On my first cleanse with this soap, I notice instant brightening of my face. It also suds pretty much great, works well in removing dust, dirt and excess oil on my face without leaving my skin taut and dry. I have yet to figure out if this one maintains my good first impression. Full review soon so stay tuned!

2. RUB ME GOOD BATH SALT

This scrub smells heavenly. Not too overpowering nor too plain. In fact, when I opened my package, I already caught that whiff of milk and vanilla, I guess? And since it is a dry scrub, I have to mix it with little oil and honey to make application much easier.

3. PORES IN ORDER BALANCING TONER

This toner smells mild and gentle. It also does not sting especially on the portions of my face where I am currently experiencing some breakouts. At first use, I can say that it works better in hydrating and moisturizing my face than extra cleaning it which is but fine with me as moisturizer isn't anymore necessary while using this.

To tell you the truth, I am having a good first impression with Bask Beauty PH and its products. I think they are great and would yield me even better results when used religiously. Also, let's add the fact that they are soooo affordable!
