ClaimsZenutrients CocoHoney Firming Mask firms and tightens tired skin. Made with two key ingredients: 1. CocoHoney, for cell repair and regeneration. It is a concentrated form of the coconut sap that comes from the flowering of the coconut plant, it contains 24 natural Amino Acids, 17 Vitamins and 14 Minerals, helping skin stay young. 2. Hyaluronic Acid, that keeps skin stable and moisturized. Helps to instantly boost skin’s ability to absorb and hold moisture for long-lasting hydration. Has no silicon, no parabens, no fragrance, and is also colorant-free. Best for dry, mature skin; but works well for tired skin needing that boost. Can be used up to 4x a week.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Coco Nectar, Panthenol, Hyaluronic Acid and Phenoxyethanol

I have always been in loved with raw coconut and honey, in fact, I store jars at home and use them for do-it-yourself projects, specifically leave-on masks. Sometimes, I mix granulated sugars on it so it could double up as scrub. It's so easy to make and to apply without spending too much. Now, having my favorite coconut-honey mask has been made more convenient to use by Zenutrients. Presenting to you the latest from their organic skin care line, Zenutrients Coco Honey Firming Mask--a mask made for the face using raw honey extracted from the coconut sap, locally sourced from Uncle Frank CocoHoney. Indeed, another innovative way to beautify one's tired and dull skin.

In terms of its packaging, it very much reminds me of Zenutrients Gugo Strengthening Hair Serum which is stored in a heavy glass pump bottle and sleek waterproof labels containing descriptions, instruction for use, ingredients, batch number, expiry dates, etc. During my review of their hair serum, I complained about the pump which I find hard to use especially in getting a good amount of product. But I realize it's the natural gugo fibers that block the path in which the products get dispensed on. Since this firming mask has pure liquid inside, dispensing the mask won't be a problem. However, since this is a glass bottle, it's fragile, space-consuming, heavy and not safe for travel use.

Honey, according to my research, is a good remedy for acne and pimple breakouts too due to its antibacterial properties, aside from being an anti-aging natural ingredient. It can also clarify skin complexion because of its hydrating properties and could also improve pore condition. I do not know if it differs from the honey extracted from coconut saps though. I just assumed it delivers the same effect considering the claims of this product. Meanwhile, coconut has been infused in a lot of skin care products because of its high moisturizing, anti-aging, anti-bacterial properties, etc. Phew, I doubt there's one beauty junkie who does not know anything about the skin benefits of a coconut. Having two of my favorite natural ingredients is what prolly triggered my desire in getting myself a bottle to try.

Application and Usage: I use this at night after I cleanse my face and before I apply my toner and cream. I use this twice or thrice a week, still depends if I have free time or not. I usually arrive home late so sometimes, I am just too tired to care for my skin, good thing, this product easily revitalizes my dull and tired skin. Just as suggested, I'll let the product sit on my face for a good 15-20 minutes or as long as the mask dries. Afterward, I am going to have to peel the mask from the bottom going upwards.

As you can see, the mask looks like honey, viscous and smooth in consistency. It smells like cocohoney itself--the major component of this product. I know it may sound a bit pricey for its content but a little of this goes a long way, mind you. You don't have to keep layering the mask to ensure that when you peel it up, it's not gonna break because I tried using it for only five minutes. The product, then, is not ready for peeling yet but I rinsed it anyway because I am just not in the mood for masks. If you are too lazy to wait for more minutes, wipe it with a warm washcloth. Even then, I notice a firming effect on my skin.

The best thing about this product is how it is true to its claims. It really firms and tightens my skin even during short moments of application though does not significantly reduce sebum production. After every use, I feel like my skin is so hydrated, softened and firmed. It looks fresher with better complexion too. I have been testing this 12 times already and I did not experience any adverse reaction (pain, breakouts, allergies, etc).

What more can I say? I love this product and would highly recommend it to whatever skin type you have--whether you have oily, sensitive, dry, normal or combination skin type. This product is so easy to use. I was never wrong in thinking that Zenutrients Coco Honey Firming Mask is a promising product!
