Beauty Fix Nose Pack (Oil Control and Detoxify) Review

Beauty Fix Nose Pack
Bought from: Watsons
Bought for: P13 (I think?)

Is it just me? But I think black packs are more effective than those white ones. Lol. This is based on personal experience. I find that the black packs adheres better on skin and pulls dirt from within more effectively. I just wonder whether the shade matters or not. Haha! Anyway, here's a quick review on one of the cheap finds I got during my previous Watsons haul and let's see if it works! For the description, claims, directions, ingredients and manufacturing and expiry dates of this product, kindly check the photo down below.

Based on the information displayed below, this product has a good shelf life of three years. It also claims to control oil, detoxify the nose, remove blackheads and whiteheads, soften the skin with its active ingredients. For you information, I have super oily skin so I was more eager to try this first than the other variant Beauty Fix has--Whitening and oh I forgot. If I am not mistaken, this product comes with a bigger tube container with more or less 100ml of product inside. I like that it can be purchased on sample sizes first so you get to decide whether to buy the full-sized or not after the test.

Peeling packs like this mainly aims to target blackheads and whiteheads so if you have a lot of this, I encourage you to try this. In my case, I have large pores so I'm prone to clogged pores, whiteheads and blackheads. I actually don't want to try peeling masks because I have zero to mild pain tolerance but I have too endure the pain to freshen up.

The product itself has a grayish black shade and is somewhat thick in consistency. It's easy but messy to apply but like all peeling masks, it takes time to dry. However, I would still advice you to keep a thick layer especially on the nose area so when it's time to peel, the easier it would take you. It smells like...I can't describe it because I'm too bad at associating scents to something, but it may bother you if you are sensitive to product scents.

And yes, I know it is a nose pack but I like using nose packs on my whole face because they adhere much better to bumps and other skin imperfections. This guarantees me that it would effectively remove most dirt and other contaminants on the skin.

I apply this twice a week for a month and the effect is still the same. What I do is clean my face first, pat it dry and apply a generous amount of BeautyFix Nose Pack all over. I will then have to wait for 15-20 minutes for it to dry completely then I would peel it starting from the chin upwards. I like that it feels so refreshing on skin. For best results, let it dry in front of a fan or air conditioner. Not only it will dry faster, it will provide cooling effect on your skin as well.

The photo above shows the pack while it is still wet, once dried and my skin afterwards. Once you peel the dried mask off (it freakin hurt! And some of my facial hairs are removed in the process), you will instantly see tiny white particles and that's what clogged your pores, whiteheads! It kinda looks gross so I did not include pictures here but try it for yourself and feel how nice it is to have cleaner and clearer complexion. Also, this product does not dry my skin out, instead, I was welcomed with softer, smoother and brighter skin. I can't really vouch for the oil control claim, however, because I do not use it everyday and not a thing that ever controls my oil (like ever) so I will leave that to you.

Overall, I like Beauty Fix Nose Pack. It is so affordable and effective in removing whiteheads and blackheads, even matured pimples! However, if you can't tolerate pain, do not use this. So that's that! Please let me know should you decided to repurchase. Happy blogging!
