For a product with so many rave reviews. I can only say that I wouldn't miss it for the world. It was just very fortunate of me to spot it at a sale price of P890. It's just nice to finally have this sponge after drooling over it for a long time. And yes, I am talking about Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, so far, the best alternative to the most coveted Beauty Blenders. I wouldn't blab so much because I'm pretty sure there's a lot of reviews available online. I just wanted to tell everyone how it's such a nice dupe for BBs without the pricey tag (Hello there, fellow cheapskates!). Makeup amateurs like me could start from this before investing on a more high-end beauty tools without worrying if what you just bought was actually worth the money.

This sponge can be used either damp or dry but I prefer it when damp because it turns bigger, softer and blends the foundation much easier. In terms of its absorbing power, it does not matter whether it is damp or dry, it absorbs liquid makeups as much all the same.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge has a lot more obvious porous texture compared to other makeup sponge that are non latex-free. However, I find that this product easily deforms after a few wash so I'm trying to be more careful every time I'm squeezing water out of it.

What I like most about it is how soft the texture or the sponge is (like super soft!). It works well with a patting motion without making me feel like I am being punch in the face (like normal rubbery sponges would do). I use the flat edge for my whole face, even though it's intended to contour the eyes and nose, and it effectively provides a flawless, seamless finish without any problem. The pointed tip also reaches the awkward areas of my face like nose and under eye areas. Seriously, it shrinks my makeup application, say, from 20 minutes down to 10. That's just how efficient this sponge is.

I haven't tried a Beauty Blender yet but I am more than happy with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I did not regret getting myself a value pack because I get to save more! All these four are almost the price of a single Beauty Blender! Roll 3 months and I am still using my first sponge. I just love it so much.
