SkinWhite Lotions On BOGO Deals!

Yesterday on my way home, several tarpaulins displayed outside the nearest HBC store from my place caught my attention. Aside from selected HBC products being sold in sale prices, I noticed that they also sell SkinWhite Lotions in a Buy One, Get One deal. They have it in two sizes: 100ml and  200ml bottles and comes in three variants: Advanced Power Whitening, Papaya and this Classic Whitening Lotion which I love for its sweet scent and lightweight finish!

We were running out of lotions and this sale is just right in time to hoard! I reminded myself to bring extra cash tomorrow! Drop by the nearest HBC store to avail yours!

Skin White Classic Whitening Lotion, Advanced Power Whitening Lotion and Face Cream Powder in Light Beige

Bear with me guys, I have to make my studies my priority first. That being said, I won't promise to be as updated as I would want to because school stuff won't permit really. But I am so delighted that I have finished my three major subject reports and other activities! Yey!

Anyway, to make up with my lack of posts, today, I am going to review the products I got from Sample Room--Skin White Advanced Powerwhitening Lotion with Advanced Tri-power Technology with SPF 20, Skin White Classic Whitening Lotion with SPF10 and Skin White Advanced Whitening Face Cream Powder in Light Beige.

Skin White Advanced Powerwhitening Lotion with SPF 20

Skin White Advanced Powerwhitening Lotion with SPF 20 comes in its typical lotion bottle that is available in 50 ml (P71) 100 ml(P123.25) and 200 ml(P235) bottles. I prefer lotion in tube packaging for easy dispensing, but it's still fine though. Sample Room is really generous enough to include full-size products for their samples. Yay! Only 35 points are needed for you to avail the sample.

I have always been a fan of Skin White products. I mean, I don't think there still exists a drugstore brand that is at par with the huge amount of love I have for Skin White. I would say that I pretty much adore their Classic Moisturizer (face cream), but I like this lotion almost just the same.

First thing, the scent is nice. I can't really describe what fragrances there are but it smells fruity--the scent I like with lotions. The consistency is of average viscosity, meaning it is kinda thick in consistency, thus tends to be a little greasy on feel. Sadly, the slight heavy feeling won't go away throughout the day. It is a good thing for those with dry skin as it tends to be super moisturizing on skin. So if your main concern are your parched pelts, this could be your go-to lotion. It is affordable and gives an instant bright, radiant and healthy complexion. Note the SPF20 so you are still safe under the sun even when you don't prefer to layer sunscreen on. (But, please do not stay too long under the sun! If you can't help it, apply another layer!)

Skin White Classic Whitening Lotion with SPF 10

I believe this is the counterpart body lotion for their Classic Face Cream/Moisturizer and is infused with Light-feel Technology and Vitanourish Formula. And I fell head over heels after one application. Yes, that instant! Ito lang ang tanging instant na walang bitin. Hahah! True to its word, it gives off a light feeling so if you are afraid that your skin might look and feel dry, at the same time, greasy, this lotion will suit you. It will effectively moisturize and hydrate your skin without the heavy feeling SPF-based products imparts. It smells super nice too (like baby powders but better!) at least for me. Compared to the Powerwhitening lotion, this has a thinner consistency that can easily absorb by our skin. It also has Vitamins B5, B3, B6, C and E to nourish our skin! I love this!

When you get this at Sample Room, you would receive this at your doorstep in full-size (200 ml) for free! Apparently, you still have to pay for the shipping fee (P100-130) though pero hindi mo na maiisip yun dahil three full-size products naman ang makukuha mo! Sulit, right? Anyway, you can also avail this at all leading supermarkets, department stores and drugstores nationwide and is available in 100 ml (P72), and 200 ml (P) bottle sizes.

Skin White Advanced Whitening Face Cream Powder in Light Beige

This is not my first time trying out Skin White Face Cream Powders. I had the one in, uhm, I forgot the name of the shade but it was the light one. The one in white cream which gives a pinkisk glow. I have no idea if it still exists though. However, the pinkish undertone looks awkward on my fair but with a yellow undertone complexion. Hence, I stopped using it. Good thing, Sample Room has the Light Beige, more like a tinted moisturizer that dries into a powdery veil on top of the skin. It is super lightweight and velvety to the touch. I like it. Though it only has a very sheer coverage, the brightened complexion lasts all day.

I would say that a little would go a long way already because too much may emphasize the product clinging on the creases of the face. Swatched is provided below by the way.

This face cream powder has advanced tri-power technology that safely attcks three-stages of melanin production--blocks, suppresses, prevents with its SPF12 content. It is also loaded with synchronized whitening action and vitanourish formula like the Classic Whitening Lotion--Vitamins B3, B5, B6, C and E for intense nourishment.

So yeah, have you tried these three products? What are your thoughts? Kindly tell me below and let's talk about it! Happy blogging!

Review: Skin White Naturals Whitening Lotion in Papaya Milk

I've tried lots of drugstore lotions ever since time knows. It's just to give everything a go. What I'll be reviewing this time is a products which isn't new in the market, but a product that I grew to love now that I have tried it. And this is no other than Skin White Whitening Lotion in Papaya Milk!

We all know that Skin White has vast range of lotions. The first lotion I've used from them is the pink one? I forgot the name and it just explodes with fragrant smelling liquid! I have used their facial cream and their powder cream and they totally smells so nice. That's one thing I love about Skin White. They surprise me with these ever amazing product's scent.

Another thing is the price of their commodities. A bottle of 350ml does not cost my mom more than PHP200!

Good thing it comes in a pump bottle as well as I can control the amount to be put in my body. It claims to have papaya enzyme and milk protein that whitens and moisturizes as well as Vitanourish formula (Vitamins B3, B5, B6, C and E for healthy skin in 7 days.

I've long accepted the fact about products' hypocrisy when they say that they can make your skin whiter in 7 days. With those in the packaging, I feel like it's just being so dishonest. Maybe it can really lighten your skin but not that early. That's a bit trumped up, don't you think?

Anyway, as it looks promising and with SPF10 (which I hope is higher than that), why not give it a try? I used it for a week now and here's what I think exactly.

I was surprised they just have a couple of ingredients--Tetrasodium EDTA and Dimethicone--to hate. Knowing that drugstore products seldom offers completely naturally-made products, this is a highlight though.

It comes in a creamy white texture which isn't thick nor runny just enough to make your skin moisturized all day. It does not leave any sticky feeling so this is a good product for me.

Did I already say that it smells oh-so-good? Oh yeah. It stays for hours in my skin that I hardly can resist myself from sniffing. This is such a yummy treat for tired and dull skin! After a week's use, I notice my skin brightened up a bit but not totally lighter.

Tried it? Share it here with me! Happy blogging!

Love,
Hanna

My Mid-year Haul Collection! (Whoops, Bench, iWhite Korea, Eskinol, SkinWhite, A Bonne)

My life this past couple of weeks involved window-shopping, stalking for new products and of course hoarding things to test them out. It’s because we previously lost our internet connection so I always get bored. Initially, I spent half of my June savings for some products and pieces of clothing that I might need for school.

We all know that June-July is the midyear so sale on goods are here and there. If you are a fashion/beauty junkie, I definitely would not have to remind you of this. Hahaha! So yeah, I believe that I should not let these months pass without hoarding some of the things from my wish list.

From L-R: Pants from Whoops at PHP399
Couple of Pants from Bench at PHP399/ea
Nail Polishes from San San ranging between PHP36-PHP45
iWhite Korea Bundle Packs (Moisturizing Facial Wash at PHP139, Whitening Peel-off Mask at PHP199, Aqua Moisturizing Cream at PHP169, Facial Cream at PHP179)
Eskinol Facial Wash and Scrub at PHP5/ea
Skin White Lotion at PHP19.50
A’Bonne Spa Milk Salt at PHP74

Whoops Pants at PHP399

The first thing from my wish list is pants. I have at least ten pairs of it but they have grown quite big for me already. Maybe it was because of the way they were washed that they don’t fit me well any more. So that’s why I had to buy some. I target high-waists pants or those that have rips on them but when I saw this at the mall at more than fifty percent off (from P1195 to P399), I immediately went to the fitting room and got my size. I bought the blue one first on size twenty-five but soon figured out that it’s quite fitted on my legs so I exchanged it for a size twenty-six and in this color. I think the one I tried on was tried at least a hundred times hahaha! Whoops are still on sale, by the way. They have pants in huge variety of colors and sizes at P399, P499 and buy 2 for P1200.

Bench Colored Pants at PHP399/ea

More pants!!! Bench as we all know is one of the most successful and popular local brands we have here in the Philippines. So when I found out on their Facebook page that they will have their colored pants at fifty percent off, I seriously had to run to the mall and buy these two. I got one in maroon and one in blue. And they are for PHP399 (from PHP799) each as well! I regret buying the other pants from Whoops and hoped that I should have dropped by Bench first so I would not have to buy the other pants and spend my P399 instead on the gray pants from Bench. Ugh!

And now, here's my iWhite Korea product hauls!

iWhite Korea Whitening Pack at PHP199 for 95g tube
(with two sachets of teir facial cream)

You can read my iWhite Korea Whitening Pack review here.

iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream at PHP169 for 50 tube ml
(with one sachet of facial cream and one sachet of nose pack)

You can read my iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream review here.

iWhite Korea Mositurizing Facial Wash at PHP139 for 70ml tube
(with one sachet of nose pack and whitening pack)

You can read my iWhite Korea Moisturizing Facial Wash review here.

iWhite Korea Facial Cream at PHP179 for 65ml tube (New packaging)
You can read my iWhite Korea Facial Cream review here.

I am an avid beauty junkie, as you can tell. I still have lots of unused face products on my stash, but I feel like I had to buy some more. iWhite products has been on my wish list for a long time now and I’m really happy that I was able to buy them now. I’ve been using the peel-off mask but I only buy those in sachets. So it’s my first time to buy them on tube. I’ve used the facial wash before because it was included on one of the promo pack I bought back then but I was still in grade school that time and I haven’t even started blogging yet and I already forgot how that facial wash works so it’s my time to use it again together with the other iWhite products. I’m actually quite excited for my review post!

I also think that I’ve been an impulsive buyer again but when I really saw iWhite products on bundle packs, there’s no time for thinking twice in buying them. I can tell that these are the old package and they are re-packaging but I don’t care since they still have the same active ingredients and contents are still the same.

The tube for the face cream above is the example for the new iWhite Korea packaging. I’m planning to buy its bundle pack but there’s no more stock so I had to buy the new one and they are more expensive than the old ones.

Stocks are very limited so if you want iWhite products at lesser prices (bundle packs) with free sachets of their other products, I suggest you hurry to the nearest Watsons/department stores in your area now.

A Bonne' Spa Milk Salit at PHP74 for 350g

I’ve been reading good reviews about it so I bought one for me to try out. It wasn’t really expensive so I was surprised. I also think that it would be a good substitute for St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub for a fraction of its price. It wasn’t on sale, but who cares? I wanted it and it’s one thing from my wish list as well. Read my A Bonne' Spa Milk Salt review here.

From L-R: San San Top and Base Coat at PHP36 for a 12 ml bottle;
San San Nail Polishes in Blue Sapphire and Purple Topaz at PHP37 and PHP45 for a 12ml bottle

I didn’t bought them from the mall but I had to include them in my mid-year purchases. Watch out for my review about the San San Top and Base Coat!

From L-R: Eskinol Pimple Fighting Facial Wash at PHP5 for a 6ml sachet;
SkinWhite Advanced Whitening Lotion at PHP19.50 for a 10ml sachet;
Eskinol Papaya Smooth White Facial Scrub at PHP5 for a 6ml sachet

I bought it from the HBC store together with the nail polishes as part of my facial wash review. On the other hand, I bought the SkinWhite Lotion because I think it’s for the face but when I got home, I figured out that it’s a lotion. For the body!!! Anyway, will post a blog review about facial washes in the Philippines soon!

How about you? Have you bought something during the mid-year sale? Bought iWhite Bundle packs or pants on sale? You can share it here with me! Happy blogging!

Haul + Review: Best Face Creams in The Philippines

Because of the two-month vacation, I've ran out of my moisturizing cream at home, so I decided to buy another one at the department store, SM Manila. Many thanks to my Broadcast Writing Professor who didn't attend our class yesterday evening so I still got plenty of time to buy stuff at the mall. While looking around shelves and everything, I was faced with a whole plethora of face creams. Seriously, I didn't know which one to buy first as I'm always in the verge of trying out new products every time I finish a tube or what. So yeah, I got home with these products instead. I only got one sachet for each brand since I just want to try them out for a week or two. For me, that's enough time to know if a product suits my skin well.

Aside from the creams, I've bought some facial wash and packs/masks in sachets as well. I didn't include them here as I am planning to give them a review separately.

Featuring: Olay, Ponds, Garnier, iWhite Korea, Myra E, SkinWhite

My first product from iWhite is their facial wash. I remember buying that back when I was in Grade 6. Admittedly, I didn't intend to buy the product alone. It just happened that the facial wash was included in the promo set so I guess I had no choice but to use it as I didn't want a single penny of mine go to waste. Hahah! And I never got disappointed naman so there was no doubt trying out products in the same line as iWhite is one of my most trusted brand when it comes to skin care. You can read my iWhite Korea Facial Cream review here and my iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream review here.

iWhite Facial Cream @PHP20

iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream PHP20

The first time I've tried a Garnier product was when I was in second year high school. My friend--and he's a guy--was the one who gave me a sachet of Garnier and it was for free so just who the hell do I think was I to reject free samples? Hahaha! Anyway, he told me that it's really is effective. I forgot the name of the product but I remember that the sachet was slightly larger and wider than the picture below. I don't know if it's the same thing and Garnier has just change the packaging or what. However, though the cream caused me no breakouts, I find it really greasy and heavy for my face so I had to switch cream. And I'm trying it again some time soon and I'm really looking forward to better results!

Garnier Multi-Action Whitening Cream @PHP15

I've known Pond's for like forever. I can almost tell that it's one if not the most famous brand of whitening creams for teens just like me. However, There's nothing much to say about this product because as I clearly remember, I was never satisfied with Pond's back then the reason why I changed my moisturizer in a snap. But I heard lots of good reviews about it from other blogs and I believe that their products already improved so yeah, I'm trying them out again once and for all. I've bought two sachets, one mainly for lightening skin and the other one was dedicated for acne-prone skin. You can read my review about Pond's White Beauty Translucent Pinkish White Glow Day Cream here!

Pond's White Beauty @PHP10

Pond's White Beauty For Acne-Prone Skin (New Detox Pack) @PHP12.50

Olay is so far the best moisturizer for me when talking about lesser expensive creams in the market. It's one of the reason why my pimple scars from puberty years started to disappear--well, not completely but it helped. I always buy sachets of this brand while I was in high school. Actually, I already forgot why I stopped using this, probably because I also wanted to give other products a try. Anyway, I'm going back and I'll always will.

Olay Natural White Pinkish Fairness @PHP20

Olay Natural White @PHP12

Honestly, I'm not a fan of SkinWhite products. But I adore them for the scent of their creams and lotions. Anyway, they have products on sachets--my target for this post!

SkinWhite Whitening Face Cream @PHP12

This is my first time to try Myra VitaWhite so I'm quite excited. I've already tried their Myra-E Lotion, Face Cream and the capsules. They're quite excellent for the moisturizing factor, but I'm currently focused on lightening creams so I had to stop. As my friend always says, the lotion from their line of lightening products was really effective, so I guess I had to try this one out.

Myra VitaWhite @PHP7
I'll update this post once in a while as I will be linking review posts for each of the product! Anyway, have you tried one of these facial creams? Share it here with me! Happy blogging! xx
