Review | iWhite Korea 2 Minute Whitening Miracle Special Wash-off Mask

Woo, too many pending posts so...I oughta start now, shall I? :)

Hey, girls (and guys) out there! Too busy to even pamper yourselves nowadays with some face masks or scrubs? I bet your skin's hungry for some homey treats just as I do! Fret not, iWhite Korea 2 Minute Whitening Miracle Special Wash-off Mask is already here!

As the name suggests, this special wash-off mask will already do wonders to your skin in just 2 minutes. Woah, this might be a time and skin saver all at the same time!

iWhite Korea 2 Minute Whitening Miracle Special Wash-off Mask
Bought for: P24.50/ea
Brought from: Watsons, SM Manila

I believe this is the latest innovation iWhite Korea has to offer to consumers so I got really excited, purchased at least two sachets just for me to try them out. If you read my previous blog posts, I already shared my thoughts about iWhite Korea Peel-off Mask, Aqua Moisturizing Cream, Face Cream and Facial Wash. I will be posting the link below if you want to check it out!

This special wash-off mask is just so special as it offers us 7 in 1 skin benefits: nourishing, exfoliating, blooming, whitening, nourishing, exfoliating and whitening. Are they worth the hype? Hmm...read further!

iWhite Korea is known for using their natural ingredients on their products--mulberry extract, aloe vera, korean ginseng, etc--plus their ultra cute sachets like this. I did not even think twice whether I buy it or not because their previous products works for me naman.

For mobile users: iWhite 2Minute Whitening Miracel Gel is a specially-formulated facial mask that gives your skin a healthy does of whitening care and maintenance with all-natural active ingredients. Within two minutes of application, your skin receives pampering through active skin brightening nourishment, hydration and relaxation. This mask also helps in the prevention and reduction of acne and controls excessive oiliness while keeping the skin moisturized.

This Wash-off Mask is enriched with:
  • Limmonia Acidissmia Extract which is a mild natural solution to skin brightening and reduction of acne scars, dark spots, old scars and hyperpigmentation.
  • Lonicera Caprifolium Extract which is an effective anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial agent.
  • Bambusa Vulgaris Leaf Extract which is the richest natural source of Silica that is essential to skin regeneration by providing strength to the collagen in our skin.
  • Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract
Were the claims true? Definitely.

Unlike their peel-off mask, this is almost transparent in shade and is somewhat thick in consistency. It smells like shampoo? I don't know but it smells really good for me. Hihi.

Warning: The next picture is a shameless selfie of mine!!!

So this is how my face looks like prior application of the special wash-off mask. You can say tell that it looks oily, dull and believe me, bumpy and rough on texture despite my uber oily face and large pores.

It is instructed to put on a cleansed and dry face, putting sufficient amount on the face then leave for two minutes and gently start massaging the face for another minute to seal in the active ingredients while gently exfoliating it.

This is how my face looks like after two minutes upon application of the formula. I actually plan to take a picture of me after fresh application but I do not have the slightest idea that it would turn watery that instant and when you try to rub your face, it would look the same as peeled layers. These tiny whatcha-call-it would provide you the exfoliation that you need to remove dead skin cells on your skin, making it brighter, softer and smoother afterwards.

After two minutes of leaving it on my face and a minute of gently exfoliating my epidermal layer, I washed the mask off, feeling the somewhat greasy silicon-texture on my skin which eventually fades after you rinse everything off.

Hmmm...let the photos speak for themselves!!! Just look how well-cleansed and bright my skin has become after just three minutes! Woah, this is really amazing! You can see fresh and reddened pimples marks all over my face that has not yet been removed but...ugh, I think this mask would help my skin regenerate new cells!

Have you tried it, ladies? Let's talk about it on the comment section! Don't forget to subscribe! Love ya all! Happy blogging!

Hanna

My Unexpected Package From iWhite Korea!

Earlier this day, I have received a call from an unknown number. It was too late when I noticed it so basically, I didn't get the call. While doing household chores, my auntie called me, saying that someone was looking for me. According to her, he has some package for me from Biocostech, Phils. I was a little confused because I haven't bought any item online to be delivered in our house. I told yah, I would have them delivered to my friend's postal address instead. Anyway, I told her I'd pick up the parcel later. When I checked my phone, the same number who did call me left me two text messages. He was asking for any landmark near our place because he can't find our house. Of course, there's no use replying as he already left the items in my auntie's house.

So yeah, I got the package and when I opened them, oh my gosh! It was the prizes from iWhite Korea's photo contest. I have no idea that I won! I had to check the Facebook if there's any mistake but there was it! My submitted photo was already posted on their Facebook page! Hahahaha! So I really did win! The July winner was me and it was posted last August 03 and I had no idea until today. Silly mee!

I had to carefully 'unbox' everything even though I am so thrilled to see what's inside, you know, that could be the best part. Hahaha! It's like unwrapping a gift for my birthday. Lol. Since there's a tag with the Aqua Moisturizer there, I expected that the loot comprises mostly (if not all) of the Aqua Moisturizing stuff in their Skin Whitening Vita line. When I opened it, I first saw the tube and I was like, "Woah! I never expect this package to contain a tube!"

I was really glad to receive these items since I am currently running out of my Aqua Moisturizer. At the same time, it bothers me that I had to choose where to empty the sachets since I have two tubes of them already. Hahah!

The parcel contains this cute tote bag which is perfect for outings and getaways maybe. Anyhow, the tagline naman is quite inspiring. Like c'mon girls, let's look into the bright side! Yey! Admittedly, this bag is a bonus but I am really after the iWhite Products hahah!

The loot contains five sachets of iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream in the cutest packaging ever! Read my review to know my experience about it! Really, I've got so much love for it! Not just it's fun to apply, but it does wonders for your skin as well! If I remember it correctly, a sachet retails for P22 only while the tube (50 ml) is for P179!

I'm glad that the package also has five sachets of the iWhite Korea Facial Cream. I've still got plenty of this since a little goes a long way. Hmm, I think I've got enough stock of this for a year or more! I also have a review for this. Just click the link above! A sachet of this retails for P20 only!

So yeah, that's all for today! I thank iWhite Korea for these! More power to everyone. Til my next post, sweets! Happy blogging! xx

REVIEW: iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream

Even when I was still in grade school, facial creams have always been a staple in my skin care regimen.  I am not yet that familiar with how cleansers or even toners work, but facial creams, for me, should never be gone as I always thought that they were a boon for my acne-prone skin. I thought my skin being acne-prone is just the product of me undergoing adolescence period but up until now, I still experience breakouts every now and then.

Believe me, at a very young age, I had to always secretly sneak through mom’s only Olay cream bottle (which was just given to her by my auntie) and have a little to be applied on my skin. That’s how curious I am back then. My cousin who’s working at a manufacturing company would give us some samples of Pond’s products on sachets and I would ask my mom if I can have some for myself since she won’t use them. Yeah, my mom never used beauty products for her face except for whitening and beauty soaps. She would always tell me not to use those commercially-sold products as my skin was still young and I might develop blemishes overtime. But I grew tired of her telling me not to as when I started to grow up even more, my passion in discovering and using skin care products would always haunt me.

So the product that’s lined up next for my review is...iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream!

iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream in bundle (PHP169)

iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream in bundle (PHP169)
iWhite Nose Pack (PHP18--when bought separately)
iWhite Korea Facial Cream (PHP20--when bought separately)

Most of the locally-available and budget-friendly facial creams being sold in the market were tried by me as until now, I am still searching for the product that would suit my oily skin. Actually, my skin would live without creams and toners and cleansers. I found out that if I stop using creams and just use Kojic Soap for my face, there would be minimal breakouts on the surface of my skin, yet the soap itself would leave my face feeling tight and dry. And that is where moisturizers must come in. Remember, for a healthier, younger-looking skin, don’t forget to cleanse, tone and moisturize! I can’t risk having my skin dry as it tend to age the skin prematurely so I’d rather apply creams...and suffer from breakouts even.

But not anymore! iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream is water-based and definitely, does not cause me breakouts! You can also use this to relieve stress on your skin after you use the iWhite Korea Whitening Pack.

All of the products of iWhite come in an easy squeeze tube and sachets. The Aqua Moisturizing Cream comes in 50g tube which retails for PHP169 plus the nose pack and the facial cream. I bought them in a limited bundle offer so the cream and nose pack are all for free. Currently, the iWhite are changing the packaging of their products. The new ones are already available in supermarkets, department stores and Watsons nationwide and retails for PHP179. However, you can still avail their bundle offers but just like what I’ve said, the bundles are limited.

REVIEW: iWhite Korea Facial Cream (New Packaging)

Hello girls and guys out there! Been making up for the last months of being in hiatus (and lacking of new posts). Hahah! Anyway, I have already posted my review for iWhite Korea Whitening Pack and the iWhite Korea Moisturizing Facial Wash yesterday. And today, what I'm going to review is the iWhite Korea Facial Cream in their new packaging! After seeing the bundle offers in Watsons, I planned on buying the facial cream as well. Sadly, it ran out of stock immediately. Hmmm, smells like a bestseller here. So anyway, I had no choice but to buy the new one.

iWhite Korea Facial Cream in sachets (10ml) and in tube (65 ml)
Bought for: P20 and P179
Bought from: Watsons

The photo above shows the iWhite Facial cream in sachets. Actually, there's another one which is the latest. The packaging is like the one in the tube(aluminum-like) and is shiny. However, the content is just 6ml and the price is the same. Some retail stores still have the 10ml sachets while some had ran out of stock. I advise you to buy ASAP when you're aiming for the last 10ml sachets as they are now very limited for iWhite Korea has already restocked for the 6ml sachets.

One thing I like about the new packaging is how posh the tube is! And it comes in an easy squeeze tube which allows you to control the amount to use easily.

Before I bought this tube, I made sure to try the product first on the sachet. In all my iWhite products, this is the last in my purchases, First, because it took me time to find the one in the bundle offer (turned out every last tube was sold) and second, I don't know if this cream will work for me after trying out other creams in the market before which happened to only cause me more breakouts. I need not to mention the products but there's so much contempt for them. Kidding!

iWhite Face Cream claims to whiten, protect skin from the sun, and make skin silky smooth. In my weeks of constant use, I can say that my skin really became more even toned and fairer. But I don't want this cream to take all the credit. I am using the facial wash, aqua moisturizing cream and the whitening pack in a span of at least two weeks that I am also using the cream. I really believe that the best results can be achieved if you are using all the products from the same line which I did with iWhite.
For my skin care regimen using iWhite product, the facial wash should be used twice a day, in the morning and at night, then I follow it with iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream then the last step would be the facial cream. You can use both creams on your face at once.

The consistency and color of the cream is like that of the Elmer's glue though not as sticky hahah! Actually, if the formula wasn't on the tube, I would be mistaken it for a glue lol. I don't know if I'm right, but I find the iWhite products all smelling just the same (except for the Aqua Moisturizing Cream). Maybe it's because of their main ingredient: Mulberry Root Extract and Panax Ginseng Root Extract, It's fine with me as the scent isn't too overpowering. It smells mild actually (at least for me) though and the ingredients aren't that many which is good for it contains lesser chemicals.

You can tell that the product is quite hard to blend, yes? Although it's great as a makeup base (I had to agree with that). And the formula being not greasy and heavy (note that it has some SPF properties huh) for my face is the best thing! However, I notice some acne breakouts on the lower part of my left cheeks and I don't know if it's because of the face cream or what. Hence, I would like to blame it on my monthly period though. I easily get breakouts every time red days start to approach. :(

And the best advice while using this cream would be: TRY NOT TO 'OVER SQUEEZE' AS TOO MUCH OF THE FORMULA CAN MAKE YOUR FACE REALLY, AS IN REALLY WHITE. The least of your want is to get white cast. That's the first lesson I've learned on my first day of use. Try to at least use just half the blob of your usual amount of face cream to be applied on your face. And make sure to fully blend the formula on your face to achieve even skin tone.

And the best thing upon using this product is the way your skin looks afterwards. This facial cream (with proper amount) can instantly lighten your skin tone and give you that fresh, dewy look just like Koreans! Seriously, I feel like a Koreana every time I use the product. And the lightening effects does not eventually fade. It stays on your skin for a good four hours.

iWhite Korea Will Be Giving Away Some Goodies & A Canvas Bag!

IWhite Korea just ended their summer promo contest and now hosting their rainy season promo contest! Being an avid user of iWhite Products from packs to moisturizers, I won't let this opportunity slip away from me. I also joined the contest haha. While reading reviews of their products, I accidentally happened to drop by on their Facebook Page and found out that I haven't liked their page yet. So I followed them (seriously, like a stalker), scrolled down and down and down and found their ongoing rainy season contest! Hahaha!

I never had the chance to join in their previous contest and it's my time now! I don't really expect to win but, I just wanted to submit an entry. You know what, I really love to join contests like this where prizes include beauty and skin care products.

Actually, I once won in the Chic Nails Centre contest where participants must submit a nail art using one of the polishes in Kathryn Bernardo's Collection. The prizes includes 500 worth of Robinsons GCs and a Limited Edition Kathryn Bernardo Planner. I wasn't able to claim my prize since the claiming location is far away from my place. It was just so sad when you know you won but just can't claim your prize.

Promo mechanics:

As you can see, the mechanics for this contest is pretty easy. All you have to do is upload your rainy season outfit and answer the question "What is your iWhite skincare rainy season regimen?". PM them your photo together with your full name, location and mobile number and tada! You just have to wait for the announcement of winners. Ms. Iris Cee was the June winner.

And for my entry?

My photo entry on Facebook

My answer

I also entered on Twitter but 140 characters is too short so I had to use Twenth.com for my answer!

I didn't enter on Instagram since I'm not an active Instagram user as of the moment.

Have you already entered girls? Join now for a chance to win iWhite goodies and the canvas bag! For more information regarding the contest, you can visit their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts!

Happy blogging! xx

REVIEW: iWhite Korea Whitening Pack (Bundle Offer)

Yesterday, I posted my review about iWhite Korea Moisturizing Facial Wash and told you about how I'm loving it. Well, today, I am going to share with you my experience while using iWhite Korea Whitening Pack. Actually, as I'm typing this blog post, I am waiting for my face mask to dry. Can't wait til it'll be ready for peeling off (the best part). Hahah!

So yeah, I guess my most favorite iWhite Korea product is their whitening pack in their Skin Whitening Vita line. I have so much to brag about this product. Anyway, here's some photo for you!

iWhite Korea Whitening Pack for PHP199

Before I bought this bundle pack, I was just using and buying those in sachets. They are for only PHP22 for an 8ml sachet. Well, compared to other face masks in the market nowadays, PHP22 is just pretty cheap, just half the price of those other face masks. But while I was roaming around Watsons, I saw that iWhite Products are all in bundle packs! So I immediately bought some for me! The best thing about it is that I'll get to try their facial cream since they come here in this bundle for free! And I've got two sachets of it! Look!

What's in the bundle pack?

So the reason I bought the Whitening Pack before was that I have read good reviews about it. Yeah, I was reading blogs before though I haven't even started creating mine.

I have been long suffering from pimple marks and blemishes, and of course the pimples themselves. I am into trying out new products to find out what will work best for me. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to recommend some products for me. Pretty please? :)

iWhite Korea Whitening Pack in tube (PHP199--old packaging/PHP209--new packaging)
and in sachet (PHP22--for every 8ml)

The texture's somehow similar to Elmer's glue, and almost have the smell of it but with the hint of the iWhite Korea's signature extracts: Mulberry and Panax Ginseng Root. But it's fine with me, just like what I always say in my blog posts: I'm not very particular with the fragrance of a product unless it's really awfully unbearable.

By the way, the photo above is the old iWhite Korea Whitening Pack packaging. You can avail of the new ones at any Watsons, supermarkets and department stores nationwide for PHP209 and with the same content. And if you wish to avail of the bundle pack, some stores mentioned above still have available stocks left, so make sure to drop by as early as possible because they are just limited offer.

Claims, Directions, Active Ingredients, Other Ingredients

If you can read it, here's the ingredients that make this whitening pack outstanding (for me):
  • Mulberry Rot Extract - whitens and evens out skin tone
  • Panax Ginseng Root Extract - improves skin health
  • Vitamin A, C, E, B5 - help prevent premature aging mainly caused by prolonged sun exposure
  • Allantoin - makes skin softer and smoother
  • Aloe Vera - relaxes skin
Direction for use: I apply this whitening pack twice to thrice a week after cleansing my face with iWhite Korea Moisturizing Facial Wash. I apply the pack on my whole face (avoiding the eye area) and wait until it all dries up. Then, I'll peel the dried pack starting from the chin upwards. To relieve stress, I always apply the iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream afterwards and follow it with iWhite Korea Facial Cream.

Mugshot of my face

The whitening pack feels relaxing and soothing on the skin upon application. It really has this cooling effect that eventually fades when the pack dries on the surface of your skin. I avoid staying in front of the electric fan when allowing for the formula to dry because I really love the effect it gives my skin. t
The pack just takes minimal time to dry and I don't think it has any use anymore when it is dried so as much as possible, I stay in a warm place while using the product.

Mugshot with the iWhite Whitening Pack

It's amazing how much money you can save as when you go to a facial salon for a facial treatment. Now with iWhite Korea Whitening Pack, you can pamper yourselves in the comfort of your own home minus the heavy price tag and the effect was just as good!

My ugly bare face

After peeling the mask off, my face looks fresher and clearer although it sometimes stings (when peeled) maybe because my facial hair's being plucked off my face together with those deep-seated dirt. I know my skin isn't perfect but I can guarantee that with every use, you'll notice an improvement in the appearance of your skin. As for the whitening effect, I can't say much as I'm not really measuring whether I got a tone lighter or what but my skin definitely has brightened up!

The mask

Does it look gross? It would look grosser when zoomed in. Hahah! Believe me, it does not look the same when viewed closer. It has some little yellow-y droplet-like dirt which might have been in my pores for who knows how long? Eeew. So yeah, the whitening pack just removes them (if not all).

What I like?
  • Budget-friendly (PHP199)
  • Leaves skin softer and smoother, radiant and glowing
  • Has lots of active ngredients
  • Dries fast
  • Effective in removing deep-seated dirt
  • Even removes pimples/pus
  • Does not cause me breakouts
  • Brightens skin
  • Comes in easy squeeze tube

What I don't like?
  • messy to use

REVIEW: iWhite Korea Moisturizing Facial Wash (Bundle Offer)

One of iWhite Korea products that I bought was the iWhite Korea Moisturizing Facial Wash. It is one of the products in their Skin Whitening Vita line. And so far, I'm loving it! Actually, I've tried this facial wash back when I was in grade school. I'm not supposed to buy it back then but it was included in the promo pack that I bought so I had to use it. See, it's really in my nature that I'm into beauty products ever since I became a teen! So yeah, I bought another tube after years since I last tried it.

As I said in my Mid-year Haul Collection post, iWhite products are included in my wishlist. But it's actually not a priority. It just happened that they are currently sold in bundle packs so the impulsive buyer inside me just started to kick in suddenly.

It's been years and years of trying out facial washes for my skin but I haven't yet found what works best for me. I believe that even these drugstore products would suffice my expectations when it comes to facial washes. And iWhite Korea just granted my wish.

iWhite Korea Moisturizing Facial Wash in Bundle Pack 70 ml
Bought for: P139
Bought from: Watsons

As you see the photo above, let me ask you this question: would you turn your back on this kind of promo? Nahhhh! Not if you can save even at least PHP40!!! I bought this because I also wanted to try the other iWhite products which I haven't yet tried before like the iWhite Nose Pack.

The company is also re-packaging their products so it's the tube on the above photo as you can tell is the old one. Their new tubes are made of aluminum or looks quite like high-end brand and the price is higher too, just as their content. Nonetheless, I love how their products come in easy squeeze tube so usage is not messy at all and in that way, you can control the amount of product to dispense.

iWhite products are quite pricier compared to local products yet cheaper, definitely, when compared to high-end products. I can't tell if it works just the same as those since I haven't even tried one yet (I'm in a budget haha), however, I can tell you that it works the way it claims to: whitens, revitalizes and moisturizes.

The product smells just right. I mean it's not overpowering or dull, whatever. I am not that particular with how products smell naman kasi.

In the morning and before I go to sleep, I make sure to wash my face with this. So far, I'm using it for two weeks now and the results just seem so amazing (at least for me). I mean, it does not leave my face dry unlike other facial washes that almost strips away even the natural oils on my face. iWhite Facial wash removes dirt and oil but is still able to leave my skin feeling smooth and soft.

I actually can't tell if it really whitens my skin like a tone lighter or what, but it definitely brightens my overall appearance just by washing my face alone! What more if I am to tell you my whole experience with all the iWhite products! Thanks to the Mulberry Root and Panax Ginseng Root extract!

I also love that it improves and revitalizes my skin with daily use. I notice that my face started to look fresher and clearer with every day use! I just love how iWhite products suit and work wonders on my skin!

iWhite Korea Moisturizing Facial Wash in tube and sachet (PHP18)
Actually, I bought the facial wash on the sachet first and when I started to even like it more, then I decided to buy the tube the next time I go to the mall and there it is! The sachet above is empty already. I included it in the photo so you'll know the sachet version for the product (for those who don't encounter iWhite products yet). And I don't know if iWhite Korea shall change the sachet packaging as well the same way they did with the facial creams.

What I like?
  • Leaves my skin smooth and soft
  • Non-drying
  • Cleanses well
  • With Mulberry and Panax Ginseng Root extract that whitens and revitalizes skin
  • With Vitamin E and C to protect skin from free radicals
  • With Triclosan to prevent breakouts
  • Has lots of active ingredients (Glycerin, Allantoin, Aloe Vera,
  • Widely available

What I don't like?
  • Has methyparaben
  • Had disodium EDTA (harmful when too much)
  • Quite pricier compared to other drugstore products
