REVIEW: iWhite Korea Facial Cream (New Packaging)

Hello girls and guys out there! Been making up for the last months of being in hiatus (and lacking of new posts). Hahah! Anyway, I have already posted my review for iWhite Korea Whitening Pack and the iWhite Korea Moisturizing Facial Wash yesterday. And today, what I'm going to review is the iWhite Korea Facial Cream in their new packaging! After seeing the bundle offers in Watsons, I planned on buying the facial cream as well. Sadly, it ran out of stock immediately. Hmmm, smells like a bestseller here. So anyway, I had no choice but to buy the new one.

iWhite Korea Facial Cream in sachets (10ml) and in tube (65 ml)
Bought for: P20 and P179
Bought from: Watsons

The photo above shows the iWhite Facial cream in sachets. Actually, there's another one which is the latest. The packaging is like the one in the tube(aluminum-like) and is shiny. However, the content is just 6ml and the price is the same. Some retail stores still have the 10ml sachets while some had ran out of stock. I advise you to buy ASAP when you're aiming for the last 10ml sachets as they are now very limited for iWhite Korea has already restocked for the 6ml sachets.

One thing I like about the new packaging is how posh the tube is! And it comes in an easy squeeze tube which allows you to control the amount to use easily.

Before I bought this tube, I made sure to try the product first on the sachet. In all my iWhite products, this is the last in my purchases, First, because it took me time to find the one in the bundle offer (turned out every last tube was sold) and second, I don't know if this cream will work for me after trying out other creams in the market before which happened to only cause me more breakouts. I need not to mention the products but there's so much contempt for them. Kidding!

iWhite Face Cream claims to whiten, protect skin from the sun, and make skin silky smooth. In my weeks of constant use, I can say that my skin really became more even toned and fairer. But I don't want this cream to take all the credit. I am using the facial wash, aqua moisturizing cream and the whitening pack in a span of at least two weeks that I am also using the cream. I really believe that the best results can be achieved if you are using all the products from the same line which I did with iWhite.
For my skin care regimen using iWhite product, the facial wash should be used twice a day, in the morning and at night, then I follow it with iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream then the last step would be the facial cream. You can use both creams on your face at once.

The consistency and color of the cream is like that of the Elmer's glue though not as sticky hahah! Actually, if the formula wasn't on the tube, I would be mistaken it for a glue lol. I don't know if I'm right, but I find the iWhite products all smelling just the same (except for the Aqua Moisturizing Cream). Maybe it's because of their main ingredient: Mulberry Root Extract and Panax Ginseng Root Extract, It's fine with me as the scent isn't too overpowering. It smells mild actually (at least for me) though and the ingredients aren't that many which is good for it contains lesser chemicals.

You can tell that the product is quite hard to blend, yes? Although it's great as a makeup base (I had to agree with that). And the formula being not greasy and heavy (note that it has some SPF properties huh) for my face is the best thing! However, I notice some acne breakouts on the lower part of my left cheeks and I don't know if it's because of the face cream or what. Hence, I would like to blame it on my monthly period though. I easily get breakouts every time red days start to approach. :(

And the best advice while using this cream would be: TRY NOT TO 'OVER SQUEEZE' AS TOO MUCH OF THE FORMULA CAN MAKE YOUR FACE REALLY, AS IN REALLY WHITE. The least of your want is to get white cast. That's the first lesson I've learned on my first day of use. Try to at least use just half the blob of your usual amount of face cream to be applied on your face. And make sure to fully blend the formula on your face to achieve even skin tone.

And the best thing upon using this product is the way your skin looks afterwards. This facial cream (with proper amount) can instantly lighten your skin tone and give you that fresh, dewy look just like Koreans! Seriously, I feel like a Koreana every time I use the product. And the lightening effects does not eventually fade. It stays on your skin for a good four hours.

  1. You can tell, I am also an avid user of this product. I haven't tried this facial cream from iWhite as makeup base though. You are right, it is not easy to blend (not as easy as the aqua moisturizing cream). I have yet to write my own review about this. Thanks for sharing.
