Tough On Waterproof Makeup: Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover
Bought for: Present | SRP: $19 (Around P1000/125ml)

I love having mascaras and lip liquids that are long-wearing and waterproof but the pain and tugging to do afterwards stops me dead in tracks. I never thought that these old goodies from my mom's stash would be a holy grail for me. My mom do not wear heavy makeups nor obsessed with beauty products unlike her daughter to be honest. I wouldn't wonder why these deluxe sizes of makeup removers are untouched for a few months ever since my aunt overseas sent her these together with a few skincare items only I am interested in. Long story short, I decided to try one because my Loreal Voluminous Paradise Waterproof Mascara is such a pain to remove and all the other micellar waters I have just wouldn't work.

Claims (as per Clinique)
Skin Types: All. Our best-selling makeup remover. Totally tug-less formula whisks away makeup. Dissolves and "lifts away" long-wearing makeup, even waterproof mascara. Non-irritating, non-stinging. No parabens. No phthalates. No fragrance. Just happy skin.

Ingredients

Water\Aqua\Eau, Isohexadecane, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Trisiloxane, Peg-4 Dilaurate, Lauryl Methyl Gluceth-10 Hydroxypropyldimonium Chloride, Hexylene Glycol, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Phosphate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Dipotassium Edta, Phenoxyethanol

Packaging

Just like the one in full-size, Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover comes in a sturdy purple plastic bottle that has this unusual direction to unscrew. Basically, you have to press the cap downwards and twist at the same time to open. I think its good too because the product is completely sealed and protected. If you travel a lot, these are good deluxe sizes to bring with.

Scent, Consistency and Ease of Application

I can barely detect any distinguishable scent. When you look closely, the formulation looks like liquid and oil--oil floating above the liquid so you have to shake every time you use it. You can expect that it has a thin oily texture but it's not bothersome at all especially you'll have to rinse it afterwards. If you have dry skin, this is better for you because it gives a good level of hydration to the skin. Applying it is quite easy because you just have to shake well and unscrew, apply a tiny bit to a cotton ball, swipe to areas and rinse with water.

Performance

By far, this is the only eye and lip makeup remover that easily removes waterproof mascara and lipsticks in a few swipes. Check out the demo! I applied a smudge-proof eyeliner, liquid lipstick, my toughest-removing mascara and waterproof brow product on the back of my arms, grab a cotton pad and swipe it gently on the swatches in one quick motion. See how it almost remove them without tugging and irritation. I basically use this to remove mascaras and liquid lipsticks at the end of the day and I don't have any problems with this product. It doesn't sting the eyes and does not make me accidentally pluck hairs from my lashes. I love how this product saves me time in removing all the long-wearing makeup I have on. It just works well with any type of makeup and would leave your skin clearer-looking and hydrated, no wonder why this is a best-selling from Clinique.

It may seem quite pricey given the suggested retail price of $19 for the full-size (non-inclusive of sales tax yet), but a little would definitely go a long way already! I wouldn't mind spending that amount if it means I get to save time removing my makeup without hurting my skin and causing damage. Eye and lip areas are sensitive and a little pressure could cause serious long-term damage on those parts so might as well take care of it with the gentlest product as possible.

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover just received a lot of praises from me and I definitely would highly recommend this to everyone!

Strip-It Makeup Remover and Facial Cleanser Review

Strip-It Makeup Remover and Facial Cleanser 100ml
Bought for: P130
Bought from: Strip It Sugaring

I have a few makeup removers left, probably still enough for a couple of months use but I decided to order another makeup remover from Strip-It just because I find the packaging so chic. Admit it, it's quite Instagram-mable, isn't it? Also, I had to cart another item together with the Sugaring Wax to avail the free shipping option. Hehe! I had nothing against the price range--it's indeed budget-friendly though I had some things I would like to point out. Keep on reading for the full review!

Claims
It contains soothing aloe vera, pore clearing tomato extracts and moisturizing Argan oil; soap-free; moisturizing (softens skin); soothing; anti-bacterial; clears and minimizes pores; can be used with a cotton ball or rinse with water.
The claims are pretty simple and you won't have any troubles believing what it says. For a makeup remover, I'm surprised it doesn't claim to remove deep-seated dirt, remove every last bit of makeup and oils...you know the usual things claimed for the sake of advertising. For that, Strip-It suddenly gains my trust.

Packaging

The overall design is undoubtedly cute, it even reminds me of how Snoe's would come up ideas with their packaging materials. For its price, you already get 100ml of product in a pump-type bottle that dispenses product easily. The white cap shuts tight with a click and on the bottle, you can see directions and claims. I noticed that Strip-It products does not display either the manufacturing or expiry dates and even the complete ingredient list which kinda troubles me. I hope they improve on that.

Texture, Consistency and Ease of Application

This makeup remover comes in a cloudy liquid, runny in consistency and requires a lot of product during application. It has a very subtle scent which isn't bothersome at all. I like that the formula is very hydrating and can either be removed with a cotton pad or water without leaving an oily, slippery layer. It just completely gets washed off together with light makeups, oil and dirt.

The photos clearly shows how this product works. I had to test it with waterproof products--brow color, gel liner, mascara and two long-wearing liquid lipsticks. In this way, we can gauge whether or not Strip-It Makeup Remover and Facial Cleanser is tough in removing makeups.

I apply a generous amount of cleanser and leave it for about a minute before wiping it off with a clean cotton pad.

It barely removes makeup in two swipes.

I apply another layer and wait for a few more minutes to allow the makeup remover to warm up and adhere to the makeup even better. As you can tell down below, it still failed to remove the makeups even with several swipes. The redness from several tugging failed to show but yes, I had to scrape my skin gently to remove the makeups.

So for my verdict, this product ain't tough and not something I would turn to to remove waterproof mascaras and gel liners. However, if you are more on BB creams, pressed powders, tints and light makeups of all sorts, you can simply do with Strip-It Makeup Remover and Facial Cleanser. It is very gentle on the skin and does not sting the skin and eyes too.

There are a lot room for opportunities and improvements for this product though for the meantime, I wouldn't say I would repurchase as I have micellar waters that still do everything and more than what Strip-It can offer.

Let me know if you already tried and tested Strip-It Makeup Remover and Facial Cleanser. Would love to have a chat with you down below!

The Cult-Favorite: Pond's Perfect Care Cold Cream Deep Cleanser + Review

Pond's Perfect Care Cold  Cream Deep Cleanser
Bought for: Free with points | SRP: P130
Bought from: Sample Room

I have never been this so ecstatic upon spotting this cult-favorite cold cream in Sample Room. I'm sure even our moms know and swear on it. This is like an old school product which stands the test of time so there must be something so amazing about it...and I wouldn't miss it for the world! I've long been planning to get a pot for me but I just can't find one in Watsons near my work place. Some time when I was looking online (won't tell you what site though), I was so surprised that a small jar costs unbelievable fortune--like how was it possible!

Packaging

As I was looking for this before, I figured out there was the original cold cream and there was this one that's lemon-infused. I wouldn't think there's much difference so I don't care which one I get. Sample Room sold the original one though and in a full-size tub! It came in this very sturdy, informative travel-sized tub with 60ml of product inside so you get to really test it for a good amount of time before committing to bigger pots. How I love SR so much! If I'm not mistaken, they only have it sold for like less than 20 pieces and they were sold out the following day!

Since the product comes in a pot, you have to dip your fingers to scoop out some which is totally unhygienic for me. What I do is use a small spatula or cotton swabs to prevent bacteria buildup and to also prevent makeup from transferring to your face down onto the tub. You wouldn't like that!

Claims
Pond's Cold Cream Lemon is a moisturizing deep cleanser and makeup remover. It deeply cleans to remove dirt and makeup, while moisturizing your skin - all in one easy routine. For clean, soft, and glowing skin.

Texture, Consistency and Ease of Application

There are a lot of cold creams in the market nowadays and I only got to try the ones from Pond's and Nivea which I use for different purposes so I have nothing to compare Pond's with in terms of cleansing and moisturizing abilities. However, I know my skin that much that I don't need other products to give accurate experiences.

The cold cream comes in thick, white cream with a very nice subtle scent (I'm quite surprised it does not smell classic!) that goes smoothly when applied on dry skin. It feels a little bit heavy on the skin and you might complain if you have super oily skin like mine. But if you get used to it, you'll learn how it's best applied and make sure it would work for your skin type. A lot of people complain about how greasy it feels upon usage which I kind of like for the formula feels so luxurious on the skin. Believe me, I complained as well but just didn't stop until I figured out where I had gone wrong.

So how I use it exactly?

Prior to using the product, I utilized Mr. Google and look for ways on how to make this product performs and delivers. I don't want to disregard the directions for use printed on the tub (for it's not there for nothing) but I'm thinking that maybe it has something more to it. Some say you can use it as face masks or as moisturizer for dry skin which is quite true but for someone who has super oily skin, both of which couldn't be an option. Using it as face mask or moisturizer makes my skin super greasy and oily so after a single try, I stopped right then 'cause I know how my skin would react from too much oils--pimples and acne! I would say it might work for those with dry skin though but since the cream is quite thick to begin with, it could be a great source of moisture but I suggest to use a very small amount to avoid getting shiny all over. A little goes a long way already making it cost-effective.

The best option for me is to use it is as a makeup remover. It's best on that category! I am not someone who put too much makeup but I love using long-lasting makeups due to my oily skin where it's a feat if something last long on it. This cold cream removes all stubborn makeup even my long-wearing tints and waterproof mascaras which other eye pads or makeup removers fail to remove in even with multiple swipes. I love convenient skin care routine and I would definitely purchase something that makes my life easy and this product just does so well! It's a cleanser and moisturizer in one. In fact, I don't feel the need of any hydration every time I use this.

So when am I going to tell how I use this? Simple! Scoop a generous amount from the tub, spread it evenly on the face paying extra attention to where you have harder to remove makeups (especially eye area), use cotton pads to remove the darkened cream due to makeup, and follow up with a gentle cleanser to somehow neutralize without fully rinsing off the moisture. Don't worry about applying too much because it's gentle and won't sting even your most sensitive eyes and mouth areas! The more you apply, the easier it is to remove makeup.

Overall Thoughts

So what's so unique about cold creams? These aren't literally cold, okay? Lol! Basically, cold creams are invented to attract fellow oils and dirt that are deep-seated for a cleaner, more nourished skin. It has been selling non-stop since time immemorial even with all the new cleansers in the market. This is just a proof of how this product lives up to its promises. No wonder, it's effective, gentle and affordable! This should not cease to exist anytime sooner or later! I'm totally hooked and definitely would be my go-to makeup remover for heavy-duty makeups!

I haven't had very nice experiences with most Pond's products and I wouldn't start here either but so far, this is the cream that made it to my top Pond's products! No breakouts, just cleaner , healthier skin complexion! Have you tried Pond's Perfect Care Cold  Cream Deep Cleanser or just looking forward to? Let me know down below!

Loreal Paris 3 in 1 Micellar Water Review

Loreal Paris 3 in 1 Micellar Water
Bought for: P150 | SRP: P250
Bought from: Lazada

I have been having troubles sleeping a complete 8 hours lately so I’m not in the proper state of mind to write reviews when I barely rested for a good 4 hours or even eat a healthy diet properly. I’m just too weak and tired and colds and cough didn’t help either. But I got to be productive and so here’s a short review about the Loreal Micellar Water I have been using lately to remove what used to be fresh makeups that just oxidized and turned greasy.

Ideally, cleansing is an essential step to effective skin care and also the primary key to prevention of bacteria and dead skin cells buildup and breakouts. I don't say cleansing does all the job but for me, I'd rather skip most skin care steps other than this. It's just so important for me that I never sleep with makeup on. Believe me, even when I don't wear makeup, which is pretty much most of the time, I still use cleansing wipes or micellar waters to get rid of dirt and oil buildup before I lather a gentle facial wash.

This is the only drugstore micellar water that I have tried apart from my favorite Leiania Micellar Eau De Fleur, P600 (one of the natural and organic products in Ms. Favia's skincare line). This is to say that I haven't had much experience with micellar waters for me to have something to compare Loreal with. The latter effectively removes makeup easily and is so gentle on the skin that I badly want to repurchase had it only been priced so affordably. Also, I don't have any idea if Leiania still has that product continuously manufactured and distributed to date. I have yet to ask Ms. Favia. Anyway, it's been a pleasure discovering another drugstore gem that I could always count on whenever I'm on a tight budget.

Performance

I skipped all through my usual review categories and just decided to squeeze in all my thoughts here just because I can't say much about the packaging except it's nothing fancy yet backed up with all necessary information a product should have. It barely reeks of anything too. Just like most micellar waters, it's literally water in every aspect.

To test how effective this product is, I use this when I had my full makeup on using a piece of cotton wool. I'm using The Face Shop Designing Eyebrow Pencil, Loreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation, Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, Cover FX Blotting Powder and Makeup Revolution Eye Palette for this look.

Using just a single cotton wool and some Loreal Paris 3 in 1 Micellar Water, I was able to remove half of my makeup as it was not obvious anymore on the picture. The mascara was really a pain to remove so I had to press the cotton wool for a few seconds on my eye area to soften the mascara first. Removing all my makeup wasn't super easy like the micellar water would blow away every residue in just a swipe but it wasn't super hard either. There was a bit of pressure and tugging and it took me two cotton wools to fully cleanse my face which is pretty much normal for makeup removers that really works.

After cleansing, my face looks really hydrated, clean and soft. There was no stinging sensation either or any negative reactions after several uses. I have been using this product once a day for three weeks now and I haven't even used up 1/4 of it which means that it can go a long way too. Do take note that I don't have much water resistant makeups and I only do full makeups occasionally so it still would depend on the amount you are using everyday.

Overall Thoughts

Loreal Paris 3 in 1 Micellar Water is a really worth a try. It's very gentle on the skin, easy to use, affordable, and would suit every skin type! I can't say anything more but definitely highly recommended and I'm looking forward to repurchase.

Clean Your Brushes The Easiest Way Ever ft. Naked Glory Makeup Brush Cleaner

Naked Glory Makeup Brush Cleaner
Bought for: Free | SRP: P295/100g and P175/50g
From: Naked Glory Organics

Here's a review to a product that will certainly answer all makeup lover's woes when in comes to cleaning their brushes! I am pretty sure we all enjoyed cleaning our brushes after we used them for painting our faces. However, it could still be a pain in the ass cleaning them until we find a really efficient and hardworking product that makes a 30-minutes cleaning session down to 10. If it's not taking you that long, how do you make sure your brushes are completely free from bacteria? Spoiler alert: this product pretty much do the job with just 5 easy steps--wet, swirl, lather, rinse, dry--and you'll think, that's it? Yup!

Claims (as per Beautymnl)

An all-natural solid cleanser for your hardworking brushes and sponges.  Formulated with nourishing ingredients including argan oil, virgin coconut oil, and goat milk; mild solution is gentle on brushes and your skin; melts away makeup, dirt, and oils to leave tools sparkling clean and soft. Preventing skin irritation caused by chemically cleaned beauty tools.

Packaging

Product came in in this simple opaque white jar with a large opening so you can easily swirl your brushes inside. It looks nice and decent for me as it displays all necessary information about the brush cleanser itself. The expiration date is printed on the bottom part and has a shelf life of at least a year. It does not bother me as I know it would long be gone before it reaches its expiration date. That's very usual for products you're really liking a lot, right? You see nothing else but it! (lol)

Texture and Ease of Use

The product has this milky white shade, looks like candle on the jar, melts easily with water and turns hard when air dried. If you put water on the container and swirl a brush on, it quickly produces suds and instantly separates makeup from your brushes that you don't even need to touch the bristles and clean it yourself. You'll definitely see the water changes in color to that of your foundation. But of course, if you want your brushes to be extra clean, you can hand wash it for as long as you want or spray some disinfectant once the brushes dry up but believe me, I don't think that's even necessary. Check the picture down below and see how it can save you so much time and effort by just swirling!

Performance

This product is really effective in cleaning brushes effortlessly. It is loaded with Argan Oil, Virgin Coconut Oil and Tea Tree Oils which, apart from their numerous skin care benefits, softens makeup and makes it easier to slide off from the bristles and disinfect them. Just think of cleansing oils which attracts oils and dirt, making your skin clean and fresh afterwards. That explains why Naked Glory Makeup Brush Cleaner cleanses our brushes in super quick ways! It is also infused with essential oils for that subtle nice scent that lingers. See how my brush looks so clean and fragrant with just a few swirls!

Overall Thoughts

Naked Glory Makeup Brush Cleaner is just so worth it and I'm not seeing any reason why you shouldn't give it a try. For only less than P300, you get a huge tub with 100g of cleaner inside and could last you a very long time. I don't say that you should ditch your expensive makeup brush cleaners for this but if you are into saving up without compromising quality and effectiveness, this is surely a highly recommended product for you. It works at par with other expensive makeup cleaners (I've tried a few samples before) and in fact, more convenient to use because all you need is, again, WET, SWIRL, LATHER, RINSE AND DRY.

Be Gentle On Your Eyes With Purederm Soft and Mild Eye Makeup Remover Pads

Purederm Soft and Mild Eye Makeup Remover Pads
Bought for: Free | SRP: to be updated
From: Purederm

Our eyes are the most sensitive parts of our face, therefore, extra care and gentler cleaning are required to keep it healthy, bright and lines-free. While I'm a huge fan of waterproof makeups, most of the time, it's a pain in the ass removing them with soap and water alone. Sometimes, even the (a little) expensive for-the-eyes makeup removers do not do the trick. But when I get to try this Purederm Soft and Mild Eye Makeup Remover Pads, I thought it's impossible I will be splurging lots of bucks on expensive ones. What for? I have here one of the most reasonably-priced eye makeup remover pads, just a fraction of their prices but works almost, if not at par.

Claims, Ingredients, Cautions, Directions for use

PACKAGING

The pads are housed in a cute-sized yellow green resealable packet. If you want to use a pad, you have to access them through the peel-off opening which has quite good adhesives so the inside would not easily dry out. Like most Purederm's products, this one has a very simple yet clean packaging with enough information displayed at both front and back part of the packet: claims, ingredients, directions, caution, even the manufacturing and expiry dates. The packet itself is so small to conveniently fit small pouches, you would not think there's 30 moist pads inside!

TEXTURE

The pads are made up of soft textured cloth which are non-abrasive to the skin. It is perfectly soaked with solution so it requires you less effort in swiping away dirt and makeup. With it comes in small size and circular shape, it can perfectly fits the eye area and remove even the most stubborn makeup from the eyes.

SCENT

It has a combination of subtle floral and citrus scent which I find very refreshing. I think no one would dare find it off-putting.

Claims

PERFORMANCE

These pads are amazing! They glide onto my skin without causing any abrasion. It can instantly remove normal eye makeup in just a swipe but would require few more swiping motions to completely remove waterproof ones. So as to avoid tugging my skin, I would normally leave two pads on my eyes for a few seconds (until the solution softens the makeup), and gently swipe them to the sides in one slow movement. You may do it again if your makeup's really playing hard to get.

I like that it's non-greasy and very lightweight on the skin. After using these pads, I notice that my eyes feels squeaky clean but without being stripped off its moisture. In fact, they provide hydration without slippery sheath or sticky residue. They are also very gentle to the eyes and you won't feel any irritation or stinging sensation. This is why these are safe even for those who wear contact lenses.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

Overall, I would say that I am really loving Purederm Soft and Mild Eye Makeup Remover Pads! Just imagine saving up time washing hard-to-remove makeups as you use some affordable but reliable ones from a drugstore brand. No wonder why everyone's raving about this when it can be used by anyone whatever skin type they have. I surely would recommend it if you are short on budget but still want to try something effective and mild on skin. And yes, I would definitely repurchase!

So what do you think of Purederm Soft and Mild Eye Makeup Remover Pads? Have you tried it already? Any thoughts? Good bye for now and happy blogging!

Purederm Vitamin Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes Review

Purederm Vitamin Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
Bought for: Free | SRP: P99/each
From: Purederm

Recently, I won a Purederm giveaway on Instagram and I get to receive a loot bag with lots of Purederm stuff inside. I just can't hide my delight and use most of them right away. Today, I will be sharing to you my thoughts about Purederm Vitamin Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes and hold on, it won't take long!

Purederm Vitamin Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes

PACKAGING

The product comes in a matte packaging with peel-off sticker that is resealable and that has good adhesives so I know the towelettes inside won't dry out. It displays detailed information on its body such as claims, ingredients, directions and cautions including the expiry and manufacturing dates. For someone who likes reading, this is very much appreciated. However, given that it has 30 towelettes inside, I doubt I would prefer to bring this during travel. I wish Purederm has it in different sizes lol.

SCENT

It has mild citrus fragrance which I like since it's refreshing.

Claims

Ingredient List

How to use; Cautions

TEXTURE

The towels, when pulled out, are fully soaked with solution so removing any dirt or makeup on your skin is super easy and requires less effort. It is thicker as well compared to other drugstore cleansing wipes and is much softer. There are a couple of cleansing wipes that felt rough on my skin but good thing, Purederm's just made up of soft cloth like usual face masks which I find non-abrasive.

PERFORMANCE

I'm not really putting on a lot of makeup everyday since I hate that greasy feeling I get especially the weather here in the Philippines is a combination of hot and humid. Sometimes, I wear one layer of foundation or BB Cream on, oftentimes, it's just my sunscreen and tinted powder. But because I am commuting, layers and layers of dirt and other pollutants accumulates on my skin by the end of the day so it's a must that I remove them using cleansing wipes so as not to give my cleanser and toner a hard time. What I love about this is that it instantly gives me refreshed and well-cleansed skin without the greasiness. I also like how it effectively provides hydration to my skin so it looks a lot healthier and more glowing. However, if you really wear heavy makeup, you might need to use two to three towelettes to really remove traces of it.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

When I first tried Purederm Vitamin Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, I thought I will not like it since I experienced itchiness during the first two days of use. My skin gets used to it eventually. I thought I will be having breakout issues with this but no. I just like how it cleanses my skin well. Sometimes, I use this as my cleanser, toner and moisturizer when I am too tired and lazy to go to the bathroom and perform my usual skin care routine.

Overall, I love Purederm Vitamin Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes and would highly recommend it whatever skin type you have. But since I do not have sensitive skin but I experienced slightly unusual on my first days of use, I suggest you do a skin test first before you fully use it on your face.

Thank you for reading! Happy blogging!

Purederm Argan Oil Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes Review

Purederm Argan Oil Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
Bought from: Watsons, SM Manila
Bought for: P99

Claims: Gently cleanse, tone and remove make-up. Made of a precious blend of Argan Oil and Vitamin E to restore hydration and softness. Ideal for all skin types. It gently remove eyeliner, shadow, lipstick, blush and even waterproof mascara without skin irritation. These ultrasoft towelettes provides a complex blend of Argan Oil, Vitamin E, Green Tea and Aloe Vera to gently cleanse, tone and resurface skin texture.

*See photo below for the list of the ingredients

I have been obsessed about cleansing wipes ever since I appreciated its convenience when all I wanted was to get rid of makeup and sleep at the end of a tiresome day. I tried almost every cleansing wipes that can be bought at supermarkets but I guess there's pretty much difference in terms of use and effectiveness. And since I hear nothing but rave reviews about Purederm Argan Oil Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, I finally surrender to my whim and bought this last  December.

If I am not mistaken, Purederm come up with cleansing wipes in two variants: Collagen and Argan Oil--the one I have since bloggers and youtubers always get this variant instead of the other. Talk about jumping into the bandwagon!

The product comes in an easy open plastic that is resealable thus prevents moisture from coming out. I guess the amount you spend on it quite justify the number of wipes it has which is 30 sheets. It also would last you a month so you won't need additional mask to clean your skin. The whole product is quite bulky but I would prefer bringing this for easy touch-ups.

The cleansing wipe are soft and smooth to the touch and does not have any hint of alcohol in the product. It also smells so nice and refreshing without the overpowering fragrances of perfumes. One sheet at a time is enough to clean my face and make it more radiant, I don't know with those with dry skin.

Purederm Argan Oil Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes can really remove makeup but you have to scrub it on your face a few times before you erase everything.  Almost everyone said this could remove even the most stubborn traces of makeup and dirt on the face but I can't really testify on this part because I didn't notice a significant effect on my skin even after using this everyday. Also, it does not perform heavy duty task like removing waterproof makeup probably because the gentleness on it still weighs more.

I would love to repurchase but I'm up to adventure.
