Be Gentle On Your Eyes With Purederm Soft and Mild Eye Makeup Remover Pads

Purederm Soft and Mild Eye Makeup Remover Pads
Bought for: Free | SRP: to be updated
From: Purederm

Our eyes are the most sensitive parts of our face, therefore, extra care and gentler cleaning are required to keep it healthy, bright and lines-free. While I'm a huge fan of waterproof makeups, most of the time, it's a pain in the ass removing them with soap and water alone. Sometimes, even the (a little) expensive for-the-eyes makeup removers do not do the trick. But when I get to try this Purederm Soft and Mild Eye Makeup Remover Pads, I thought it's impossible I will be splurging lots of bucks on expensive ones. What for? I have here one of the most reasonably-priced eye makeup remover pads, just a fraction of their prices but works almost, if not at par.

Claims, Ingredients, Cautions, Directions for use

PACKAGING

The pads are housed in a cute-sized yellow green resealable packet. If you want to use a pad, you have to access them through the peel-off opening which has quite good adhesives so the inside would not easily dry out. Like most Purederm's products, this one has a very simple yet clean packaging with enough information displayed at both front and back part of the packet: claims, ingredients, directions, caution, even the manufacturing and expiry dates. The packet itself is so small to conveniently fit small pouches, you would not think there's 30 moist pads inside!

TEXTURE

The pads are made up of soft textured cloth which are non-abrasive to the skin. It is perfectly soaked with solution so it requires you less effort in swiping away dirt and makeup. With it comes in small size and circular shape, it can perfectly fits the eye area and remove even the most stubborn makeup from the eyes.

SCENT

It has a combination of subtle floral and citrus scent which I find very refreshing. I think no one would dare find it off-putting.

Claims

PERFORMANCE

These pads are amazing! They glide onto my skin without causing any abrasion. It can instantly remove normal eye makeup in just a swipe but would require few more swiping motions to completely remove waterproof ones. So as to avoid tugging my skin, I would normally leave two pads on my eyes for a few seconds (until the solution softens the makeup), and gently swipe them to the sides in one slow movement. You may do it again if your makeup's really playing hard to get.

I like that it's non-greasy and very lightweight on the skin. After using these pads, I notice that my eyes feels squeaky clean but without being stripped off its moisture. In fact, they provide hydration without slippery sheath or sticky residue. They are also very gentle to the eyes and you won't feel any irritation or stinging sensation. This is why these are safe even for those who wear contact lenses.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

Overall, I would say that I am really loving Purederm Soft and Mild Eye Makeup Remover Pads! Just imagine saving up time washing hard-to-remove makeups as you use some affordable but reliable ones from a drugstore brand. No wonder why everyone's raving about this when it can be used by anyone whatever skin type they have. I surely would recommend it if you are short on budget but still want to try something effective and mild on skin. And yes, I would definitely repurchase!

So what do you think of Purederm Soft and Mild Eye Makeup Remover Pads? Have you tried it already? Any thoughts? Good bye for now and happy blogging!

HBC Essentials Personal Wipes Review

HBC Essentials Personal Wipes
Bought for: P49
From: HBC

Last month, Adrian gave me 4 packs of HBC Essentials Personal Wipes because I have always wanted someone to give me cleansing wipes as presents. I could buy one though and I don't understand either why I need to have someone buy them for me lol. Anyway, I just feel the need to review this product here because I was quite disappointed with this product (even though it is reasonably priced) after testing a few brands such as the cleansing wipes of Purederm and Dewy Tree which are definitely best buys for me. Anyway, here's a brief review about this product.

Nothing special with how the product's been made, but I am used to resealable packaging so no worries. It is also loaded with information at the back such as the description, claims, ingredients, manufacturing and expiry dates, price, etc. I guess people, like me, who are very conscious about what we put on our skin, will appreciate this.

This product claims to remove dirt and disease-causing bacteria so hurray for that. The wipes itself smells almost nothing so I have to say that it quite suits those who are very sensitive in terms of product scents.

The picture above and below shows the exact cloths when pulled from the plastic. It's obviously smaller and thinner compared to other cleansing wipes--may it be from drugstores or high-end brands, and is translucent to the eyes. Unlike Purederm and Dewy Tree's, this does not seem like well-soaked on liquid solutions so it cleanses less effectively in my opinion. It does not remove makeups easily as well unlike other cleansing wipes in the market. Most likely, you will have to utilize three to four cloths when you wear heavy makeup due to its flimsy properties and one to two for lighter layers.

The good thing about this product, though, is that it is very lightweight on skin and does not feel greasy or sticky on the face. The problem is just that it is impractical to use for me because a lot of sheets is required to clean the face in one use alone. Also, the cloths seem rough on my face (or maybe I might be pressing real hard to get rid of oils, dirt and makeup?).

Overall, I think I would still use these wipes to clean my face only if I have lighter makeup on (little bit of bb cream and powder alone). It also would even come handy if I need something to clean my skin. What's there to lose, right? A pack is so affordable. Although I still prefer the thicker and tougher ones in terms of removing traces of makeups on my skin  with the greatest of ease.

Have you tried HBC Essentials Personal Wipes? Any thoughts? Happy blogging!

Dewy Tree 3 Effect Cleansing Tissue Review

It is 4 free system: paraben, synthetic fragrance, synthetic dye and benzophenone. (as per Beautymnl) It quickly yet gently cleans to remove dirt, oil, and dead skin cells without irritating your complexion, melts away long-wearing makeup formulas and waterproof mascaras, nourishes and moisturizes with lavender oil, apple, broccoli, and carrot extracts. It is also hypoallergenic and vegan cleansing wipes for sensitive skin.

Ingredients:

Annyeonghaseyo! Still can't get rid of the good vibes brought to me by watching Goblin (it's a Korean drama) bwahahah! I guess this is pretty much the reason why I'm into blogging a Korean product right now. Today, I will be sharing to you what I think of the Dewy Tree 3 Effect Cleansing Tissue which I got as a substitute for my favorite Purederm Argan Oil Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes. I'm gonna hurry right now because I wanted to finish the remaining episodes!

The product itself is stored in a high-quality light green plastic with a resealable cover to ensure that the washcloths stay moist and fresh. It is also loaded with information like claims, directions for use, cautions, expiration dates, ingredients, etc. Anyone who looks at it will appreciate that there is an English translation provided down below, something other Korean products lack. Mine's going to expire on 2019 so this product has a whopping shelf life of three years!

One packet contains 20 sheets inside which costs P139. I have tried other drugstore cleansing wipes with more sheets but has a lower retail price. It made me wary of purchasing this at first though, but did not regret anything once I put it on a test run. Holy cow, it's by far, the best makeup wipes I have used in my life, yes, better than Purederm itself.

When you tear the cover open, you will catch a whiff of some herbal mixture from the cleansing tissues. I smelled something like this before but couldn't make out what that thing was. Ugh. Anyway, I like it as it's kinda soothing for my senses. I kind of expect it though given the looks of the packaging with green leaves all over.

The cloth is not really thicker than other cleansing wipes I have used nor wider, more like an average cleansing wipes but it's moist enough to clean and hydrate my whole face and neck. I am not the type of person who puts layers of makeup on the face so I don't give these makeup removers such hard work. However, what amazed me most is how I could easily clean my whole face (with powder, sunscreen, blush, mascara and sometimes one layer of foundation) without leaving it sticky or greasy unlike other cleansing wipes. This sufficiently hydrates and moisturize my skin and makes it soft, smooth and matte as if I just had washed my face. This also did not break me out, yey!

Just to try if this really is a tough cleansing wipe, I put two layers of Maybelline Great Lash Mascara on (which I find hard to remove with ordinary soaps) and bam! Not any mascara residue! If I am not using this cleansing wipe at all to remove the makeup, I highly doubt it's gonna disappear this easily. What I did was put the cleansing wipe on my lashes and the mascara easily adhere to the cloth. Amazingggg!!!

Overall, I love Dewy Tree 3 Effect Cleansing Tissue! It's pricier than other cleansing wipes out there but it works for me better than others. I highly recommend it whether you have dry, oily or sensitive skin as it does not contain any harmful ingredients. What else? Hmm, not a single hoax on the claims, by the way. It is totally worth a repurchase!

Have you tried this? Love it? Nope? Thoughts? Happy blogging!

Sanicare Antibacterial Cleansing Wipes Review

Sanicare Antibacterial Cleansing Wipes
Bought from: Savemore
Bought for: P27

Claims: Gentle, alcohol-free formula, lightly-scented (Eucalyptus), soft, cloth-like texture for thorough cleansing, quick and easy way to keep your family hygienically clean and protected at home and away, ideal fro instant clean-ups of hands and face, safe for children, refreshes while cleansing

Hola! We have been deprived of internet connection the past few weeks and when it gets fixed, the internet was kind of slowpoke, why. It was so frustrating because I ended up using my money for loading and registering on mobile surf promos every day for the past days. I just can’t live without the internet! Still, uploading photos were too hard as well, the hotspot thingy eats up mobile data so easily, thus lack of blog posts. And while I changed my screensaver to a spinning “ALWAYS BE PRODUCTIVE” sentence, I had to somewhat work my ass of and might as well shop for future to-review products since I am also running out of that one. So if I can’t blog, at least I could buy some products which I can use for the blog in the future. Crisis averted.

Did I say a lot? Oh well, one of the purchases I had is the Sanicare Antibacterial Cleansing Wipes which will be the talk-of-the-town (I meant me) today.

I wanted to buy the biggest size for practicality reason but I settled on the smallest instead because if I don’t like it, what would happen to the money I spent to buy it? Anyway, this is just for trial purposes and the first time I use a cleansing wipe to remove makeup after all. My thoughts? Read up!

As I have said, this is my first time using a cleansing wipe so I can’t really pinpoint the better things about it and how it stands out but I could tell you, guys, the pros and cons of buying this product.

When I compare prices of wipes, Sanicare was the cheapest next to the other popular brand of wipes for kids. I forgot the name. Sorry. However, most say baby wipes instead of cleansing wipes and though there’s not much difference, the labeling still gets through me. The end? I picked up Sanicare. I would say that the packaging is pretty much plain and less catchy than others but the ‘cleansing wipes’ is such an attention-catcher. Also, it’s got a detailed labeling which I really appreciates.

One small pack has 15 sheets of soaked clothes inside so this could last me half a month, one sheet each day. The scent is really refreshing, mild and alcohol-free. When pulled from its pack, you get the soaked clothe that looks cute with the holed design. What I like most about it is that it does not dry to a sticky finish. I remember using a wet wipes before to clean my face and it ended up looking shiny and sticky. Good thing, with Sanicare Cleansing Wipes, I get a clean face that feels so soft and smooth.

I have watched youtubers before cleaning their face with cleansing wipes from high-end brands and they would rave how it’s supposed to stay in their vanity kits because of how easy it is to use as it thoroughly removes heavy-duty makeups in one single swipe. I would pretty much recommend using Sanicare Cleansing Wipes as a substitute to those wipes not just because of how affordable it is, but because of how effective it is to remove makeup effortlessly. I don’t do layered or heavy makeups but in one swipe, I clearly can see one thick layer of foundation on the sheet I use. It’s really a good makeup remover!

I have already finished a pack and I plan on buying the bigger one with 80 sheets for less than a hundred bucks. Using them does not break me out nor irritate my skin. This does not impart a stingy sensation too when applied so it’s really okay for me. Overall, I love Sanicare Cleansing Wipes and would highly recommend it to whatever skin type you have and to those who are in a tight budget like me! Happy blogging!
