The last time I made a haul from Althea, I made sure to pick up something I haven't tried out before, as in, not once, never. One of those are the famous hydrogel type lip packs--something beauty enthusiasts are currently going gaga over. Also, I believe it's one of the latest innovation in the name of skin care that are popularizing nowadays through the aid of internet as I'm seeing a lot of these types every time I go online shopping. Without thinking straight anymore, I jumped into the bandwagon and bought myself a couple to try.

I never paid attention to my puckers before even though this is the most sensitive part of my face. Most of the products I put over it, even lip balms, tends to make it dry and chapped. I always am tempted to peel the loose skin and ended up bleeding. I know I gotta stop because I noticed that it became darker and uneven in color and I can't even put a lipstick on (especially those lovely mattes!) because they just accentuate the dryness of my lips. It's time to pay extra attention to it and after trying out Pure Smile Choosy Lip Packs, I know I gotta store some more for future use.

PACKAGING

These lip packs comes in colorful sachets and is intended for a single use. There were minimal information that I can read because almost everything is written in Korean. For someone like me who likes reading products especially the ingredients, claims and directions, this is a bit disappointing.

APPLICATION

Applying these lip packs are super easy. You just have to take out the hydrogels from the sachets, slowly peel it from the lid attached to it and put it on the lip area. These easily sticks on the skin once you pressed the product onto it. After a few minutes, remove the hydrogel. Take out the sachet and apply the excessive essence onto your lips to seal in moisture.

SCENT

The scent of these lip packs, I believe, varies depends on the flavor. Milk smells like milk, honey smells like honey but very subtle. They are not heavily-fragranced and are neither overwhelming.

TEXTURE

Since these lip packs comes in hydrogel type, they are very soft and bouncy to the touch like silicones. They feel like they are made of the same material; the only difference are the scent and color. The milk variant comes in a transparent hydrogel while honey's in yellow. They both adhere to the skin very well. The hydrogels are moist enough to hydrate the lips once you put it on your skin and dries thinner once the moisture soaked into it completely.

PERFORMANCE

These products are loaded with Collagen, Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid and Jojoba Oil that effectively restores hydration to the lips and helps repair damages. It felt cooling upon application and easily relieves pain on my lips. It taste a bit sweet as well so you won't have to fear applying products like this. I believe this is what I badly needed to restore my once pinkish and smooth lips. I tried the Milk variant first and you can clearly see down below the state of my lips before I apply the mask. There were bright red spots which resulted from me peeling the loose skin. I also have terrible case of dark and uneven lip pigmentation due to sensitivity to lip products.

Three days after, I applied my second pack, the Honey variant which contains high amount of Royal Jelly Extract and Allantoin known to soothe skin and makes it glowing. You can clearly see down below how huge the improvement was in terms of my lip appearance! I think I need not to say more lol. Just a heads ups, I also use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly with the Lip Packs to give more moisture to my lips.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

I love Pure Smile Choosy Lip Packs and I definitely would repurchase other variants or even those from other brands to see which one is the better. I am currently eyeing the one from Pilaten since they are more affordable, well, let's see! But I do highly recommend these products to those who are looking for effective lip treatments that hydrates the lips and keep it soft and smooth without any hassle. Do not take your lips for granted, it needs masks every now and then too!

Celebrating 7 Years of Love and Hate

Is it loyalty when your partner tells you that someone has a crush on him/her or is chasing him/her around when you are not in the action? I think not. It's mostly him/her telling you how you should be proud having him/her as your partner and partly warn you that thou shall not mess up. Loyalty, however, is when you are committed to someone else and when everyone is after you and you don't give a damn. It is when everything seems falling apart but you are holding on to what you have and still after the joy that he/she brings whether you are close or far from each other. It is when you would rather choose to fight over the pettiest things than seek calmness with someone else and after the day, you still choose to love him/her. It's sometimes needed a break, but not at all being distant. It's you choosing to love him/her even in the next lifetime.

I'm glad I've found someone loyal to me. Thank you for the 7 years of love-hate relationship. Congratulations to us, we've made this far! I know there will be lots and lots of years to come so there's time for more cheesy lines. Te amo. I'm looking forward to our golden wedding anniversary.

What's With Snail Extracts x Lily's Touch Snail Serum Review

A lot of people are swearing by the effects of Snail Slime on their skin. Nowadays, it has been one of the key ingredients for a lot of anti-ageing products that are being sold in the market--may it be serums, masks, creams, and even makeups. Why not? They have significant effects on most skin and take pride in treating acne, scars and wrinkles. I am pretty sure we all have noticed some, if not huge, difference from our skin years back when we were teens compared to how they look like now. For us, beauty enthusiasts, it can be alarming but fret not, because science's always here to aid us. I, who is two decades old, am already developed fine lines under my eye area and on the side folds of my lips which get even more obvious when I smile. I have oily skin as well but sometimes it tends to get taut and dry even when I am using a gentle cleanser. Girls, we are not getting any younger, thus, the need to be more cautious on what we put on our skin takes priority.

Lately, I have found myself stocking up on anti-ageing products that are infused with snail extracts. In fact, I already bought eye cream, masks, creams and now, serum which add up to my growing collection. Although I can not use them all at the same time, there's just this unfathomable joy in having them displayed in my vanity area. They came in cute packaging and even the formula feels luxurious (lol).

Claims/Benefits

CLAIMS (as per Lily's Touch Beauty Enterprise)

Snail serum was popularly used in Ancient Greece as an ingredient to reduce inflammation. It is known for its regenerative properties and facilitates the restoration of damaged tissue and replenishes moisture in skin. It is also effective in treating acne and scarring. Snail serum contains a patented technology using secretion filtrate of snails that encourages the skin to repair itself. Snail secretion filtrate diminishes appearance of dark spots and discoloration of skin. It is the perfect product if you want to slow down the ageing process of your skin. This is good for: dark under eye, scars, melasma, warts, visible pores, dark circles, puffy bags,wrinkles, uneven skin tone and dull skin. It is dermatologist-tested, FDA approved, tried and tested, Mercury-free, Paraben-free and all natural ingredients

Ingredients

PACKAGING

The product comes in an amber-colored bottle with a dropper and comes with a good amount of 30ml of serum inside. To be honest, I kind of like this type of packaging because it looks a little bit between prestigious and clinical. Dispensing the product is quite easy as well but still unhygienic for me since I'm not fond of packaging that allow easy entrance of air--you never know when it possibly carries all sorts of contaminants. And since this is fragile, you might want to take extra precautions in storing or even bringing this during getaways.

SCENT

The serum smells of subtle floral scent that is not overwhelming even to the most sensitive noses. It smells very delicate and I like it.

TEXTURE / CONSISTENCY / EASE OF APPLICATION

Lily's Touch Snail Serum comes in a yellowish fluid that are closer to the properties of oil more than water (kindly refer on my swatch down below), thus, a bit runny and smooth to the touch. I am used to serums that feels like putting on water with some moisture but Snail Serum is quite different, probably because of the Snail Slime. It is still more lightweight than oils though and can be absorbed easily by the skin. However, it leaves a little bit of a shiny layer upon application and feels sticky to the touch.

APPLICATION

I am either using this once or twice a day after cleansing and toning my face by massaging the serum in a circular motion. Although, I mostly refrain from incorporating it on my daytime skin care due to the fact that it makes my skin super oily and sticky at midday. Just to set your expectations, I have super oily skin. So if you have skin like mine, you might want to limit your usage to a single drop per application. Anyway, a little of it would go a long already so you won't have any problems distributing it on your face, neck and decollete areas.

PERFORMANCE

Having an oily skin, I even had to rely on serums than creams to supply just the right moisture for my skin. To be honest, the formula of Lily's Touch Snail Serum is quite different from others which I have tried. Usually, I don't have problems in terms of applying serums under my makeup due to their lightweight and non-sticky consistency. I dare say that Lily's Touch Snail Serum has a thicker consistency that is not suitable to wear under foundations or BB Creams because it will really turn you into a grease ball if you have oily skin. Nonetheless, this is still lightweight on its own. If you have dry to normal skin type, you won't have troubles using it.

I never fail to use this product on my skin before sleeping because I love how it makes my face look so firm and bright upon waking up. Just set aside the fact that your skin looks super greasy and sticky, anyway, no one's looking lol. Also, it effectively smooths out all rough areas on my skin and gives it the proper hydration it needs. I have been using it for only a few weeks from now but I already see some changes in the color of my pimple marks as they have turned significantly lighter and less obvious. I will continue using it for more updates!

OVERALL THOUGHTS

Although the only downside I had with this product is how it makes my skin super oily and sticky, I would say that I still like Lily's Touch Snail Serum because it really works to repair the skin and gives it a healthy glow. A bit pricey on the tag, but a little goes a long way. It claims to be good for one month consumption but I think it will last me for more than a couple more months. I'm using this for weeks now but I have barely consumed a quarter of it. Overall, this is a. good steal and I'm pretty sure that everyone who's more concerned about slowing down the ageing process of their skin will appreciate the effect of this product even more. After all, I don't have lots of fine lines and wrinkles to work hard on. Cost-effective, luxurious, and very moisturizing--words that best describe Lily's Touch Serum.

Here's a short review on Lily's Touch Medicated Astringent which I bought months ago.

CLAIMS

Reduces the appearance of freckles and melasma; Reduces the appearance of uneven skin pigmentation; Lightens pimple marks; Tightens pores; Lightens Skin naturally; Repairs and Rejuvenates dull skin; Improves skin texture leaving a supple and glowing skin; NO mercury or any harmful ingredient; Safe and Effective

PACKAGING

The Lily's Touch Medicated Astringent comes in a transparent plastic packaging and a cap that shuts tight with a click. It also does not leak or spill. It also has important information like description and ingredients. The only problem is the lack of manufacturing and expiry dates (most of Lily's Touch products do not contain this) so I will never know they are still good enough for consumption. PERFORMANCE

This product does not reek of alcohol and is tinted yellow. It also says to be the second skin care product to use and the moon sign at the right side indicates that it is only for night time use.

What I probably like the most about it is that it dries to a matte finish so my skin does not look and feel sticky or greasy or super hydrated. In fact, I am more in loved with toners that dries fast and into matte as I look like someone who does skip toners and moisturizers but still could have skin that's fresh-looking and bright skin!

It does not present itself as toner or cleanser but I would consider this as one because of its ability to clean the skin well and make it look clearer. It also does not cause me to breakout or feel any irritation on skin.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

I don't think I would repurchase since I like my current toner from Bioessence better. Although Lily's Touch Medicated Astringent cleanses skin very well, it does not prevent pimples from coming back. Although if you want to try an all-natural and cruelty-free products, give this one some chance.

Top Lily's Touch Product For Me: Lily's Touch Diamond Polish X Review

To date, I have tried 5 products from Lily's Touch -- the brand where the famous Miracle Cream sprouted. To name them, they are the Diamond Polish, Miracle Cream, Miracle Soap, Snail Serum and Medicated Astringent. I came across this famous organic skin care brand while looking for the best products to incorporate in my skin care regimen. Guess what? I found another treasure which I will surely repurchase and won't let go of!

CLAIMS

Diamond Polish is a Peel in a jar, 5x more effective than the usual diamond peeling procedure. Now you can take it home and do it yourself. The ultimate skin exfoliator made with Corondum Micro Crystals from Sweden. It is very gentle and gives the skin a diamond peel effect leaving it smooth, poreless and toned. Diamond Polish is made with corundum micro crystal from Sweden. Corondum crystal is the second hardest natural mineral known to science (next to diamond). These tiny micro crystals polish the skin and help remove scars.

PACKAGING

Lily's Touch Diamond Polish comes in the same packaging as the Miracle Cream--with inner lid and is not travel-friendly due to its bulky shape. I really appreciate it even more if there's an accompanying spatula to scoop the product inside so in that way, I won't have to dip my fingers with the possibility of making it a breeding ground for bacteria. Anyway, just make sure to dip only clean fingers should you wish to use it. Overall, the packaging is simple and neat with sufficient information such as claims, directions for use, ingredients and expiration date at the bottom.

SCENT

It has a subtle floral scent which I really love. I don't think those who are sensitive to scents will find this overwhelming.

TEXTURE / CONSISTENCY / EASE OF APPLICATION

The product looks milky white in shade, you might mistaken this for miracle cream. If you touch the product though, you will feel a little roughness on the cream because of the corondum micro crystals which claims to perform that scrubbing and gives you the effect like you just got out of a facial salon after a diamond peeling session. What I like most about this product is the finely-milled crystal which isn't too abrasive on skin. In fact, I find other face scrubs I have tried before a lot more abrasive and has larger chunks of exfoliators on it.

APPLICATION

Once a week for dry skin, twice for someone like me with oily skin. Actually, a pea-sized is enough for the whole face and neck. I do not apply more than that so even though P750 is a bit pricey, you will still get the most out of it. Imagine, I am still using this one tub and it has been more or less 5 months with one to two usage per week! What I always do is let the product sit on my face after massaging it in circular motion for more or less 10 minutes before rinsing off the formula. You can also apply it on parts of your body that you think are more problematic, you just have to apply a bit more pressure on it to get rid of rough areas.

PERFORMANCE

It claims to be gentle on skin and could instantly give a diamond peel effect on skin and make it smooth pore-less and toned. I was really a bit apprehensive with this claim because nothing really gives my skin that substantial glow and pore-less effect in an instant. Not until I get to try this--my face became smoother and softer and a lot more glowing than before. It instantly buffs away rough areas on the skin even with only a little amount. Although my skin do not look like my pores have shrunken in size nor my zits and marks has come to reduction, I still love it as it effectively give off that slightly polished skin no other scrubs can do.

COMPARISON: DIAMOND POLISH VS. DIAMOND PEEL

I had a Diamond Peel session at Bioessence some time in April, and just like most outcomes, it gave me that instant polished look, brighter and firmer complexion that stays like that for weeks. Lily's Touch Diamond Polish does the same but the main difference is that Diamond Peel gave me the most substantial and long-lasting effect so I wouldn't say that LTDP's claim that it's 5x more effective is a fact. Comparing the prices of both products (LTDP at P750 and Bioessence Diamond Peel at P500), I still think both has good price point and both's worth the repurchase.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

I highly recommend this to anyone, whatever skin type you have because this is non-drying and is non-abrasive. It's a high maintenance skin care but I think it will all be worth it given all the wonderful effects. I think this is one of the best products of Lily's Touch and I hope they won't stop marketing this one.

This is a super late but short (lol) review on one of the organic soaps I have tried before. After the success of Lily's Touch Miracle Cream (as everyone's talking about it on social media), I got so intrigued about their skin care line and decided to purchase a few other stuff from them. One of which is this Lily's Touch Miracle Soap.

CLAIMS (as per Lily's Touch beauty Enterprise)

Miracle soap by Lily’s Touch formulated from natural extracts to solve skin problems. Keeps skin smooth, soft, fairer, and firmer. Miracle soap is excellent in controlling oil, pimples, lightening blemishes and freckles. It is dermatologist tested, FDA approved, tried and tested, Paraben-free, made up of all natural ingredients, hypoallergenic, proud PH made with some imported ingredients.

Benefits: (1) Reduces the appearance of freckles and melasma; (2) Reduces the appearance of uneven skin pigmentation; (3) Lightens pimple marks; (4) Tightens pores; (5) Lightens Skin naturally; (5) Repairs and Rejuvenates dull skin; (6) Improves skin texture leaving a supple and glowing skin; (6) NO mercury or any harmful ingredient; (6) Safe and Effective

PACKAGING

The soap is housed in a box and is sealed with an inner plastic. The box displays important information too like product description, ingredients, directions and caution. The manufacturing and expiry dates are also printed below. Kindly check the photo below for more details.

PERFORMANCE

The Snail Secretion Filtrate, I believe, is the most recent ingredients combined with the old ones, making the effectiveness of this soap much stronger. It is primarily responsible for preventing premature aging and making skin younger-looking and healthier. Being on my early 20s, I'm already investing on anti-aging products since I believe in the saying, "Prevention is better than cure".

The soap does not contain any off-putting fragrance and does not melt easily on soap dish. It also lathers richly on skin. Using this for weeks, I can say that this soap is gentle on skin (did not cause me any irritation nor adverse reaction) and is non-drying despite it being a lightening soap.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

I wouldn't say that Lily's Touch Miracle Soap is the best soap out there because I have tried a lot that are much better in terms of controlling oil, pimples, dark spots and blemishes from popping up. Although on a brighter side, I would still give it a passing rate for the reason that it does not break me out.

Just a little tip: Cut the soaps in smaller bars to prolong the soap itself.

#SomeoneAsks Why I Always Wear Neutrals

Hi, everyone! I wanted to start a new series here on my blog entitled "Someone Asks..."--the idea is that I will be answering random (and even weird) questions asks by anyone wherein I have explanations on. It will also depend on the inquiries if I feel like they need thorough reasoning (odiba, defensive ang peg lol) or even interesting in a way that others may learn from it as well. Anyway, here's how it started...

Some of my neutral favorites. Believe me, I have more of these than the printed/colorful ones.

Ever since I started working, I became inclined to the idea of wearing professional-looking clothes to project something like a more matured appearance. I know I can easily ace this if I wear something like a dress paired up with a blazer, even dainty skirts paired with blouses. However, I am not fond of wearing contemporary pieces like those since I don't find them comfortable for daily wear. What attract me most are snug-fitting jeans, a simple plain shirt or a monotonic textured one paired up with neutral shades of bag and shoes.

Now, you might be thinking I dress like dead. :(

Don't get me wrong, I like wearing pastels, floral and printed apparels as well to showcase that 'kikay' in me but it's very seldom since I am always too lazy to pick up shades and try to look for the best match for them. As time goes by, I learned the art of mixing and matching printed to the neutral pieces I have and fortunately, come up with decent looks.

Neutrals like white, gray and black go with almost anything

Still, the easiest way for me to dress up is to find a white, gray or black shirts since they go easily with almost anything, whether a denim shorts, skirts or jeans without looking a little off the dress code. Moreover, if you paired this simple tops with a gold or a silver Casio watches, or even stainless jewelries and stylish bags, you will already look like a girl with class--someone just told me.

Mom and I have been using Myra E for months before but I never, even once, tried to write a proper review about it. I stopped for quite a while, maybe that's why I forgot all about it lol. But when I started working and I noticed that I'm frequently having stressed, dull and tired-looking skin, I decided to go back to using the only beauty/health supplement to prevent and aid Vitamin E deficiency my mom has been using for years.

CLAIMS

D-Alpha Tocopherol's antioxidant effect helps: (1) Maintain healthy skin and eyes for youthful glow; (2) Protect against atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disorders; (3) Improve nerve functions and help prevent onset of neuromuscular degenerative diseases.

MYRA E D-ALPHA TOCOPHEROL 400 IU CAPSULES

The product comes in tiny orange soft gel capsules with Myra E 400 printed on each and every capsule. They are easy to swallow and do not contain any unpleasant odor. It is also available in 300 IU bottles for less than the price. It comes in typical supplement bottles with a cap that tightly shuts to prevent bacteria and other contaminants from coming in. It also has complete labeling from the claims to the manufacturing and expiration dates.

This product is loaded with d-Alpha Tocopherol which, according to Unilab, is the natural form of Vitamin E which stays longer in the blood and performs better than those synthetic ones. Apart from this, it also aids as the body's fat and antioxidants which acts as the first defense against free radicals. It also repairs damage cells and promote renewal of the skin, heart, lungs and liver.

DOSAGE

Orally, one soft gel capsule once or twice daily. Or as prescribed by a physician. I follow the indicated dosage for this supplements and I make sure not to take more than the recommended strength so as not to trigger any side effects or overdoses. I usually take one soft gel a day, preferably before going to sleep since that's when the body do most of the renewal of skin cells.

It is best to consult a doctor if any of undesirable effects occurs If you are pregnant or think you may be, or planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding. The effects of high vitamin E during pregnancy and breastfeeding are not yet known.

EXPERIENCE

This product is recommended for ages 19 and up and since I am already 20 years old, I wanted to take care of my skin both inside and out as early as now. I am so glad that it does not cause me any allergic reactions like break outs or even signs that I am allergic to its components. With daily use, I can see that my skin is becoming brighter and healthier-looking. My mom says that she loves taking Myra-E everyday because she does not get dry skin any more and it's visibly firmer. She's in her late 40s and because of that, she is more prone to dry skin but I consider her a living testimony of how effective this product is in bringing out the radiance to your skin. It might take time before you fully see noticeable difference on the appearance of your skin since most of the effect would be on the inside. If you really want to see significant results, try taking it religiously without missing a day/s.

Apart from Myra-E capsules, I am also taking Vitamin C (Fern-C) and I did not see any adverse reactions to my skin. By the way, it is okay as long as you don't take any supplements with Vitamin E on it to avoid excessive intake.

Overall, I really love Myra E D-Alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E) 400IU Capsules and would highly recommend it to everyone. It has a good price point and you can easily get a bottle at most leading drugstore, department stores and supermarkets nationwide!

Top Skin Care and Makeup Products for June

It's been quite a few months since the last time I posted a monthly favorites. I have few stuff which I have been using frequently the past few days for they have been giving me good results. Here are they and some quick facts about them!

1. Purederm Vitamin Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelletes

This product makes it so easy for me to clean my face especially if I have heavy makeup on. It also smells refreshing and is not harsh on the skin nor causing me to breakout.

2. Purederm Spot Reducer Gel Patches

At first, I did not think I would like it until I got huge pimples on my face and it was able to reduce their size and completely dry them up in three days time. From then on, I made sure I never run out of this for emergency purposes (lol).

3. The Balm Mary Lou Manizer

This is, by far, the best highlighter for me this month. It gives me that natural glow or that most blinding highlight like a superstar depends on how intense I want it to be. It is also long-wearing and applies beautifully.

4. Glam Republic Organic Whitening Face and Body Cream SPF20

This cream smells heavenly! It also provides hydration, moisture and that gorgeous brightening effect! During those times when I don't feel like layering foundations or BB Creams on, this and some dust of powder is already enough to give me that naturally fresh look I want.

5. KKOT Essence Lip Tint Balm

This is one of the best lip balms for me because it gives instant hydration and moisture to my lips while giving it a natural pinkish stain. With this, I do not have to apply drying tints or lippies anymore.

Here's my thoughts about the product which I have been doing a test run with the past few weeks to give a better dimension to my face or lessen the appearance of my chubby cheeks and forehead (hay). Having good numbers of experience with K-beauty products, I had such high hopes with this-- oh well, every k-beauty stuff entice me just the same. Anyway, to give you a little background about 3CE, it is a brand created under Nanda and just because I was so curious, I made a visit on their website and figured out that the brand even sells apparels like clothes, shoes, etc.!

I am currently obsessing contouring and highlighting makeups. Lately, I'm buying lots of highlighters without realizing that I only have a reliable bronzer at hand. When Sephora Philippines collaborated with me, I took the chance and bought myself a product with highlighter and contour in one. This is the 3CE Stylenanda Magic Touch Face Maker which I am going to talk about today.

Claims and ingredients

The 3 Concept Eyes Magic Touch Face Maker from Korea creates natural looking shadows on the face by creating natural highlights and contours. It gives flawless and luminous looking skin with a smooth and pearl-like finish, while giving you a natural or semi-coloured glow, depending on the natural shade or colour you choose. Benefits: (1)All shades and colours are toned down to avoid too much colour on the face. (2) The low tones and mild shading colour give the skin a more natural look while creating highlighted shadows.

PACKAGING

The product comes in black compact type of packaging with a smooth matte texture. I also appreciate that it's not some kind of Korean products that are deprived of any information written in English (lol) since I am still after those which I can get tidbits of information on before I use them. I'm really in love with the packaging because first, it comes in a black compact which I find so stylish and classy, second, it has a mirror inside so I can conveniently bring it everywhere for quick, easy touch ups.

SCENT

This has a subtle scent of typical pressed powders but nothing overwhelming to it.

SHADES AVAILABLE

3CE Stylenanda Magic Touch Face Maker is available in two shades: Beige and Pink for P771 at Sephora Philippines. I think both shades would pretty much suit any complexion since they look almost the same from the pan but I got Beige instead since I have slight fair complexion with yellow undertones. Both have sheer color payoff which could work both as an advantage and disadvantage.

TEXTURE / CONSISTENCY / EASE OF APPLICATION

3CE Stylenanda Magic Touch Face Maker has a very lightweight consistency and has the texture of most pressed powder--a little bit chalky but applies very smoothly. The highlighter part has little bits of shimmers to it so it gives instant brightening to dull skin while the contour is matte and is in a natural-looking shade. I don't have any problems with it in terms of application for it is easy to work and blend with on the skin. I bet that this would work whatever tools you are using and that just adds up to the convenience of having this product during traveling and whenever you want to retouch your makeup.

PERFORMANCE

When I first swatch this product on my hands, I was kind of disappointed on why it lacks good color payoff even though it claims to give subtle and natural looking shadows. The highlighter does not look too flashy and blinding while the shade of the contour is pretty much close to my skin type. I find it hard to manage it at first, but I just got the hang of it. What I do is apply a bit more of it since I have a lot to correct in terms of the shape of my face (I have chubby cheeks, wide forehead to minimize the appearance of). The good thing about it though is that I always never end up looking having too much contoured look for it gives only a soft shadows on the skin without harsh lines. This product is more like 'mistake-proof' makeup for me since the shade that I got really suit my skin type and gives natural gradation without going a little too overboard.

LONGEVITY

In a country when the weather is not favorable to makeups (not to mention the oily skin I have), I tend to lose all sorts of colors on my face as speedy as 4 hours because I perspire and oil up pretty fast. I have oily skin all over and even highlighters and contours are products that no matter how hard I try to keep in place with a good primer and setting powder, the efforts are just wasted.

The pigmentation of this product fades as fast as 3 hours on my skin before it's ready for another quick retouch. I also find that the contour fades faster than the highlighter OR MAYBE it's just my natural oil that gives extra boost of glow. Still, this product is not at all impressive in terms of longevity.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

I do not have regrets getting this 3CE Stylenanda Magic Touch Face Maker since it's a perfect makeup for beginners. It actually helped me a lot in both the highlighting and contouring department since I now have the knowledge on how much gradation I need to achieve a good face shape without looking fake and edgy. I highly recommend this product to makeup enthusiasts out there but if you prefer better pigmentation and intensity for contour and blinding highlights, then you might not like this. Still, this is a good product for everyday use if you know how to perfectly blend the color on your skin. It is also quite affordable compared to other palettes in the market.
