Bought for: Free | Original Price: Soap (P150), Cream (P400)

Hey, everyone! It's the last day of vacation and it feels like Í'm never ever going to be on a vacation anymore without pay. You know, I am so excited to work as it's going to be my last Christmas holiday as a student! Geeez. And working hard not only meant for a full-time job but for my favorite job as a blogger too! As one of my new year's resolution, this 2017, I will be more active here and beat last year's 200+ posts. Can I do that? Lol. Anyway, expect more reviews to come and here's one of them.

Pure Skin Rituals Snowflake Brightening and Moisturizing Soap

Claims: Effectively exfoliates, brightens and moisturizes the skin. Combined properties of whitening plant extracts and moisturizers for a safe and gentle brightening journey. Suitable for all skin types. With Licorice, Arbutin, Kojic, Fruit Acids, Papain Crystals, Willow Bark, Sunflower Oil, Rice Bran Oil, and Aloe Vera.

Pure Skin Rituals, another one of those booming brand of organic goodies in Instagram, is kind enough to send me this Snowflake Brightening and Moisturizing Soap. Unlike typical soaps, this one is unusually larger in size for which it is composed of 135g of product. The packaging is very simple but with essential information like claims and ingredients. However, the only ingredients displayed are the active ones so I do not have any idea as to which the highest concentration belongs too.

This bar smells citrusy but not as overwhelming as you think. It also lathers richly on wet skin and does not turns mushy easily. In fact, this soap is unusually hard to the core that when I once tried to divide the bar in smaller portions, they break into smaller parts like hardened candle wax. So do not attempt to do what I did or end up wasting them.

I could not say I love this soap so much because I tried better ones before with the same claim to exfoliate and brighten the skin without drying it. However, I like it still because it does what it claims no more, no less. I appreciated the honest claims as it does not exaggerate like the ones I have tried prior which said that they will lighten the skin in as fast as one week but to no avail.

Moreover, even though it is composed of powerful ingredients which when taken in huge amount can be harmful, it still remains gentle on skin. With this, I did not experience irritation, itchiness or other unfavorable reactions.

Pure Skin Rituals Snowflake Intensive Brightening Face Cream SPF45

Claims: Gives brighter and smoother complexion, fades skin discoloration, prevents acne and reduces large pores with Kojic Acid, Arbutin, Glutathione, Azelaic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Aloe Vera, Shea Butter, Vitamin C and B3, SPF 45

This cream comes in an opaque plastic bottle and a cute printed design like their soap. Important information like claims and ingredients are displayed but not the manufacturing and expiry dates (just like the soap). It also comes with a pump which I find kinda hard to dispense product at first. When you experience the same thing. just pump many times until you are able to get the product inside. However, after some trials, the pump seemed to be not working so well again. I don't know if all bottles are like this but I think mine's dysfunctional.

What I like about this product is that half a pea-sized amount is already enough to moisturize both my face and neck. Indeed, as you say, a little goes a long way. It also has that mild to barely-there scent which is perfect for scent sensitives.

The cream has a white, thick and creamy consistency that blends easily on the skin. Surprisingly, despite its viscosity, it does not feel sticky, oily or greasy on the skin. In fact, it dries to a lightweight finish, suitable for all skin types indeed.

Using this for weeks together with the soap does not cause me any irritation at all. The cream itself is so mild that it did not sting my face nor cause it some adverse reaction even when I had the sudden tweak in my skin care routine. However, it did not significantly lighten marks nor prevent pimples which is still okay for me as it is a good lightweight moisturizer that does not trigger excessive sebum production.

Overall, I like these products though I am not sure if I should repurchase as my being a blogger requires me to try out other products although I'm sure that I would highly recommend this simple skin care set to organic lovers out there! I'm sure, with all the organic and natural ingredients Pure Skin Rituals products have, there is no need to worry for any health-related side effects!

So tell me if you decided to purchase one! Happy blogging! :)
