A couple of days after Christmas, I received a package from Zale Skin Care. I would like to think of it as a late Christmas gift so please give me this okay? Minsan lang ako maging feelingera lol. Anyway, what they sent me really got me so ecstatic not just because I feel so blessed but because they are loose powders! The makeup enthusiast in me got so kilig ofc. They sent me two bottles each of their available shades which are bright and tan. Bright caters to those who have fair complexion, tan, however, are intended for those with darker skin tone. In my opinion, neither of them has great coverage but I still like both anyway because they make skin shine-free and soft like baby's butt.

These loose powders come in typical powder bottles and are strongly-fragranced. It very much reminds me of grandma perfumes and other skin care products that could pass as classic. It never bothers me though because I've tried loose powders before with almost similar scents.

The powder pigments, surprisingly are very fine--it's texture is quite different from baby powders I have tried. Don't get me wrong, I love baby powders and I'm still using them til now for retouch but I like Zale Beauty Powders better because of its finely-milled talc that could create a soft look, I always think it is capable of blurring pores and other skin care imperfections effortlessly without the risk of having white cast.

As you can see on the swatches, both Bright and Tan have strong orange shade but won't make your face really orangey. In fact, it turns kinda nude on my skin when applied. I don't know if that's magic or what, but even with this undertone, my skin wouldn't look awkward.

I like applying Zale Beauty Powders when I feel like sporting a no-makeup makeup look or that if I want to use it alone for sheer and lightweight coverage. What I usually do is put a sufficient amount of powder on my hands, grab a powder brush, dip it into the powder and swirl it on my face to give an almost airbrush look and to minimize shine and dewiness caused by foundations.

What I like most about it is that even though it only provides a sheer coverage, it somehow blurs out imperfections to make skin look fresh without turning the foundation cake-y, thus, making it a good setting powder that helps makeup last longer.

On the other hand, it only prevents oiliness for at least an hour without me doing too much activity. Therefore, unless you do not have super oily face, retouch is necessary.

Using these everyday for weeks now does not trigger any adverse reactions like breakouts so there's not much to worry about. Each bottle can be availed at a super affordable price, surely, will not break the bank. With this, I would highly recommend these Zale Beauty Powder to anyone no matter what skin type you have. Be protected under the sun with its built-in UV protection!

Have you tried these? Don't you know it's currently the hottest loose powder in the organic world right now? Until my next post, everyone. Happy blogging!
