Loreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Oil Replacement

Loreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Oil Replacement

Say hi to my newly discovered hair care product that does wonders to my hair! Eventually, it became a holy grail for me except I don't have any idea where to repurchase. Thanks to a fellow seller on IG because she was the one who recommended that we do swap and in exchange of my few makeups is her Victoria Secret Fragrance Mist in Amber Romance and this Loreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Oil Replacement which I never expected to love.

Well, let's go back to what pushed me to using this when I hate putting on anything on my hair except a dollop of shampoo everyday, shall we? The truth is, it all rooted to my frequent using of hair dyes that my mane started to become super dry and frizzy which never became a problem before.

One tube has 300ml of products inside and since I got it from swap, I have no idea how much it costs or its availability in the Philippine market. However, I tried searching online and it ranges P400+ a tube. The packaging looks nothing special with the combination of gold and black labeling but I still like it because it is loaded with information and makes dispensing the exact amount easy and effortless. According to Loreal, this is the very first hair treatment with oil on it which does not really make hair greasy nor oily. Sounds intriguing to me at first.

The product has mild scent and very lightweight consistency but not runny though. It looks very white and creamy too. Surprisingly, unlike other hair product, this one yields no silky or creamy feel on the hair once applied rather it just tends to melt on the hair strands after you put it on. According to Loreal, there are three ways on how you apply it on the hair--before, during and after shampoo. I like to follow the 'after shampoo' because I always think that the longer the product stays on the hair, the more beautiful it gets.

I'd like to think of it as a leave-on conditioner rather than conditioners because it does not make my hair limp nor greasy. Once dried, all I can feel is the smoothness and softness of my hair with only a small amount of products used. Because I have short hair, I'm more prone to flyaways but not when I am using this. Sometimes, it looks like it's blow dried even though it is not. It just looks so good with enough shine and manageability other hair care products can't give.

Overall, I love it and would give it a perfect five! I'll be very much willing to repurchase, in fact, I want to repurchase now even though it is not yet half-full. Super and highly recommended! Have you tried it? Any take on it?

Til my next post! Happy blogging!
