Because I believe that soap is not enough, I bought Eskinol Pimple Fighting Facial Deep Cleanser the last time I went to Watson. Right now, I am using it after I wash my face clean with Liquid Neutrogena Pure Mild Facial Cleanser and Clean and Clear Active Clear Acne Marks Cleanser to soothe my terrible zits.

I know that Eskinol Cleansers are probably one of the classic cleansers that every women are still obsessed with. Truth be told, my mom was using the papaya variant when she was younger and she was the one who insisted to stick with this because according to her, she is a living testimony of how effective this product was and is. I believe my mom, can you tell?

Squeezing just a few amount on a cotton swab is enough to remove deep-seated dirt on the skin. If you know me, I like to double cleanse my skin, scrub it and use this cleanser and I would still be surprise to see that there are still indeed dirt and excess oil on my skin. The refreshing scent and effect are useful as well in relaxing tired skin. However, I advise you to never apply to much on a cotton ball because you probably would not handle the strong scent of alcohol. Good thing, this product dries easily on the skin and leaves it feeling super soft, smooth clean and clear without the dryness alcohol can give. Right now, I prefer not using any moisturizer after toner except my spot-on treatment because the product is already hydrating for me.

This product claims to dry up pimples in as fast as three days. That's crazy. I know that when I read it before that that is too good to be true. Using it for a span of two weeks, I can say that I was right as even my tiniest bump had barely shrink in size even I incorporate it in my skin care routine twice a day. I don't think it's about the size of the zit but the amount and concentration of Salicylic Acid in there. I have tried lots of products with Salicylic before and most of them worked well in eliminating my pimples in a flash. Surprisingly, this one does not. Still, I would want to keep this is my stash because it's a saver especially if I want my skin squeaky clean without the need of heavy duty moisturizer.

Have you tried Eskinol Pimple Fighting Facial Deep Cleanser? What's your take on it?

Happy blogging!
