Eskinol Classic White Facial Deep Cleanser Review

Eskinol Classic White Deep Cleanser
Bought for: P50 +
Bought from: Savemore (also available at all leading drusgtores)

Last month, I emptied one of my favorite toners and since I was on a tight budget, I decided to go ahead and check some reasonably-priced drugstore toners or cleansers that I know would not trigger breakouts. I have been using Eskinol Cleansers on and off for years now (ever since I was in high school) and I know that they are of equal gentleness for my oily and pimple-prone skin just without the pricey tag. I have not started blogging back those days yet so this would be my first time writing something about Eskinol White Cleanser.

PACKAGING

It comes in typical transparent plastic bottles with proper labeling--ingredients, benefits and all that. I believe Eskinol hasn't much changed even after all these years. It comes in different sizes so you can choose whether to have a sample or to save more by getting the bigger bottle. The flip cap shuts tight with a click as well so it's guaranteed spill-proof and travel-friendly.

INGREDIENTS

Water, Alcohol Denat., Sorbitol, Perfume, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil,  Menthol, Citric Acid

CLAIMS

  • Whitens with continuous use
  • Controls oil for hours*
  • Removes deep seated dirt, excess oil and makeup with Micro-cleanse anti-bacterial formula

ESKINOL CLASSIC WHITE FACIAL DEEP CLEANSER: PERFORMANCE

This product comes in a transparent water-like consistency and you can easily smell alcohol from it. Sometimes, I prefer alcohol-based cleansers and toners because they are effective in minimizing oil secretion in my face. However, if you have dry skin, this may not be a good option for it will tend to dry out your skin even more. My mom is also using this one and she told me that this is a bit drying on her skin (since she has dry skin) but she still likes it all the same because it is so convenient to use and saves time cleansing the face especially during those lazy and tiring days. In a way, I have to agree with that, what about you?

Furthermore, this is a gentle cleanser for my skin because it does not trigger breakouts, allergy and other painful reactions. In terms of its whitening claim, I do not have substantial proof that my skin lightened even just a bit but I kind of don't care since I am not after it naman. I just like something that controls oil, make my skin matte and soft and the top criterion--something that won't break me out.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

I am loving this variant even more than the Acne-fighting variant because it keeps my skin glowing, radiant and deeply-cleansed every day. I highly recommend this product to everyone, well, I think my recommendation is not anymore needed beçause Eskinol cleansers won't live this long if women do not find this worth the rave and try. This would be one of the products that I will include if I am to write a blog with a caption: Best Toners and Cleansers Of All Time.
