Two weeks ago, I received this facial cleanser from Cleopatra's Secret along with other organic goodies I longed to try. Despite my elation, I admit I was a bit skeptical inside because I'm afraid I would experience breakouts again from the sudden change on my skin care routine. Well, I took the risk upon figuring out that this product is suitable for people who have sensitive skin. You know that I have super oily skin but most of the time, my skin, surprisingly, reacts nicely towards gentle cleansers a.k.a those that does not lather much. I used to hate them before because I thought my skin can't get any cleaner but I guess, I was wrong to judge them without seeing the effects. Now, I am using this product since I received it and so far, so good!

PACKAGING

The product comes in two sizes (correct me if I'm wrong): one is 50ml and one is 100ml. The product comes in a pump bottle except this one has a larger nozzle or mouth something which foams the product. I guess it's the trend among organic brands nowadays--foam cleansers, i dunno.

I think the smaller bottle, the one I have, is travel and user friendly, and is easy to carry with you during travel. I don't know why but I like the overall packaging as it looks engaging. Haha, I don't know if I am making any sense here as I'm quite sleepy. Heller, I am writing at 1:15 A.M. lol! 

SCENT

The product has an unusual scent. It smells like mixture of herbs (because it's fragrance-free) for me which I find off-putting at first but grew to like eventually.

TEXTURE / CONSISTENCY

The product is tinted brown and is watery in consistency that at first, I thought it wouldn't sud. The pump is the one that helps though. Anyway, this does not lather much no matter how much you put on. I like putting 6 or more pumps on my palm before applying it to my face and may I just add that that's a lot already so I almost emptied the bottle.

PERFORMANCE

I have been using this product for exactly 12 days and the result was good. Because of its mild formulation, this does not leave my skin feeling taut or dry. It cleanses my skin superbly without stripping it off its natural moisture. I can say that this really softens my skin and makes it clearer and brighter. Normally, I would breakout from sudden tweak in routine but this one is just among the few products that my skin did not react adversely with. Though I still get tiny bumps every now and then, I still commend it for being able to control spreading of zits on my skin especially during that time of the month. Though I am still oily until now, I like how it improves the overall appearance of my skin especially my pores. They look firmer now every time I'm done washing my face.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

I like this product so much and it definitely is included in my product recommendations for everyone to try! You can't just get wrong with this reasonably priced yet hardworking product! Even though it's mainly for those wih sensitive skin, I still like using it for my face because sometimes, the gentler ones are more effective compared to those full of harsh chemicals.
