Cloud 9 Blanc De Whitening Cream

Looking for products that can give you instant white and bright skin? I would love to recommend one for you and it's Cloud 9 Blanc De Whitening Cream a.ka. Blemish Relief Cream and Korea's Hottest Whitening Cream! It could be a bonus point if you love Korean Brands! :)))

Cloud 9 Blanc De Whitening Cream, 50ml
Bought for: P700 (Orig. Price: P2000)
Bought from: Althea Philippines

Actually, I was not about to purchase this but I accidentally clicked the Bestsellers on Althea and I found myself swooning over this upon reading the description which makes it look more promising with all its claims.

At the base of the box is some descriptions written in Korean. The box is pretty much sturdy, looks very high-end with seals and proof of authenticity. Anyway, there's fakes for this product so beware!

Inside is a frosted glass tub which I find really cute. However, you might want to be more careful with this as its really fragile. It's also heavy and bulky in size, not so travel-friendly indeed. If you want to pack some for trips, you can just transfer some on small pots, enough to last the whole vacation, otherwise, you have to deal with its weight and fragility.

Intended for blemished skin, this cream claims to target dark spots to even out and improve the skin tone, brighten and moisturize it, reduce redness and melanin production with its instant whitening ability that lasts for 12 hours.

It comes with a small plastic spoon, very nice for hygienic purposes. It also serves as an indication, for me, of the right amount of product to use for my face and neck.

Ugh, I am totally in loved with the packaging, I could almost hope that every cream in the planet is set up like this. Lol.

Ingredients: Water, Titanium Dioxide, Butylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Arbutin, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Acrylate/ Sodium Acrylolyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Isohexadecane, Phenoxyethanol, Aluminum Hydroxide, Disodium Stearyl, Sulfosuccinamate, Caprylyl Glycol, Glyceryl Caprylate, Hydrated Silica, Polysorbate 80, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Perfum, Adenosine, Morus Alba Bark Extract, Lilium Candidum Flower Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract, Saussurea Involucrata Extract,  Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Freesa Alba Flower Extract, Bellis Perennis (daisy) Flower Extract, Leontopodium Alpinum Flower Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract

Upon opening, you will still see a seal that prevents tampering which is another point for hygiene!

The consistency of the formula isn't really thick yet creamy and somehow a bit short in viscosity. It actually reminds me of whip cream and pudding, familiar? It's kinda fluffy and bouncy when wobbled (cute *_*)!

With a combination of 9 herbal plants, this is a tub of pure nature and goodness with its mild and pleasing scent! It also has Arbutin so this product not only offers instant but long-term whitening effects too!

To provide a reference, I have scooped a blob to test on my arms.

The photo above shows the product in a not so blended state. The cream is very lightweight, glides easily on the skin without ugly streaks and leaves a non-greasy residue. Therefore, it fits oily skinned gals like me! Yay! However, it could emphasize dry patches on the skin too. Also, it's moisturizing in an average level. It feels wet at first then dries to a dewy matte finish. It, then, leaves a bright white film on the skin which does not look fake at all. It just seem to brighten up one's complexion but not for a long time. In my case, it just stayed on for a good five hours when it claims to stay for 12. Just look at my arm swatch! It gives your skin an instant glow and make your face double-triple tone fairer depends on the amount that you applied on. Still, the least that you want is for your face to be too much lighter than the rest of your body, so apply what's only the necessary amount, otherwise, it would look ghostly.

This product works well as a primer/base under foundation although it does not make it last longer. On a period of one month, it does not cause me major breakout nor prevents pimples from popping out. Another thing I don't really like about this product is that it fits those with pink undertones but really looks awkward with strong yellow ones.

After one month of use, I still do not notice that much lightening on my skin, probably, I still need a few more weeks to make the product really adjust to my skin tone and work well in reducing melanin production.

Okay, I like this product but it does not really suffice my expectations. For a P2000 worth of product, I do not think it's worth the price. It's true to its claim to give an instant whitening yet that is the only thing this cream does that other creams can't, but other than that, it does nothing special like being able to lighten spots or blemishes or to at least even out the skin tone. In fact, when you apply it, scars, marks and redness still peek out.

Just to be clear, I do not regret purchasing it out of whim, I just feel like I do not get the best out of it. I don't love it but I don't hate it too. Anyway, have you tried this product?  So was it a yay or a nay to you? Comment below! Happy blogging!

Love,
Hanna
