I've never tried so many Rose-infused products in my life but whenever I do, it works. Which is why I am so thrilled to have won this 9Wishes Rose Capsule Treatment Essence from Style Korean's Try Me Event. It's one of the 4 products I was given and honestly speaking, I'm impressed with all the products I was chosen to review. If you want to know why, please keep on reading after the short break!

CLAIMS

Enriched with rose oil and macadamia nuts oil that melts upon applying onto skin to make smoothe and moisturize skin, and calm sensitive skin. Infused with Rosa Damascena flower water to restore skin balance and provide hydration to skin.

9 Wishes Rose Capsule Treatment Essence also claims to maximize the skin's natural night time renewal process with the exclusive 9wishes's oil encapsulation technology. From the product's claim, this is intended and suggested for night time use which I strictly follow as I'd like to use the HYDRA SKIN AMPULE SERUM in the morning. Nonetheless, I still think this will be suitable for AM skincare as it's very lightweight.

 

PACKAGING

This is the very first product I have tried from 9Wishes as looking through it, it has that nice aesthetic and the overall look from the packaging to the product's texture are very pleasing to the eyes. It looks so fancy and I was like, hey, this is just exactly my type! Just like other 9Wishes products, it also has an English translation to the packaging which makes it easier to know what its benefits are. The sleek rose gold cap and glass pump bottle looks so classy and I love that about it. The glass bottle is transparent so you can see the tiny specks of rose inside.

 

The only gripe I probably have is the fact that it is housed in a non travel-friendly packaging which is a very minor issue as I prefer it to be rather photography-worthy.

 

SCENT

It smells like how Rose products do yet it doesn't smell synthetic which I appreciate. Other Rose products has the tendency to have that rather pungent scent. If you don't like floral scent, this may be too much for you.

 

TEXTURE, CONSISTENCY AND EASE OF APPLICATION

The essence has a watery consistency and is clear in color with tiny specks of rose. These aren't genuine rose petals though as it instantly melt on the skin upon contact. You won't even need a second to warm it up in order for it to finally melt on the skin. This product contains oils and extracts so I am surprised that this gets absorb so quick without any oily or greasy residue. It dries almost matte which is perfect for someone who has oily skin and large pores. Those with drier skin type may need something more moisturizing.

 

PERFORMANCE

This product contains Rose (antioxidant and anti-aging), Macadamia Oil (a very lightweight oil that moisturizes, softens and regenerates skin and also an anti-inflammatory), Aloe (known for its skin calming and soothing properties), Jasmine Oil (treats dry skin and evens out the skin tone), Licorice (meant for sensitive, reddened skin because of its skin-soothing properties), Blueberry (rich in antioxidants and Vitamins A and C to treat acne, revitalize, heals and makes skin glowing), Fig (decrease skin melanin, sebum and water loss) and Ginkgo Biloba Nut Extract (antioxidant and anti-inflammatory). With all these active ingredients, this product is an all-in-one treatment.

Despite the presence of oils, I am glad that this essence did not break me out nor clog my pores. I am always cautious with oil-based products given that they have the tendency to clog the pores and apparently, aren't suitable for all skin types. I am glad bad skin reactions in my end never happened. Those who are sensitive from using any products infused with the following ingredients  mentioned may need to be more careful. I would suggest doing a patch test first.

It felt refreshing to apply and with just a few pats, the product is already set leaving my skin feeling a little hydrated. A little because I don't find the hydration enough (and I have oily skin!!!) and it makes me reach out to HYDRA SKIN AMPULE SERUM for an added moisture. It does not sting upon contact, rather, it feels so soothing with the various plant extracts it's made with. On lazy days (which is pretty much everyday) after I cleanse and tone, I would apply about 2-3 pumps of this essence and then I'm off to bed. The next day, I would expect that my skin would look supple, soft and glowing and it never disappoints.

I also noticed that after almost four weeks of religious use, together with the serum, my blemishes and pimple scars especially on my lower cheeks have significantly lightened. It definitely contributed to the overall glow of my skin. Also, my pores are tighter and more balanced.

If you are looking for an effective skin treatment, I would really highly recommended to splurge on this product. Something that wont break me out and makes my scars lightened are big factors I consider when recommending something. This product is a bit pricey though but Style Korean makes it affordable when they go on sale so if you would really like to save more, you better wait for the sale season.

Eyebrow Threading at Lay Bare (SM Valenzuela Branch)

Yesterday, I went to Lay Bare (SM Valenzuela Branch) to treat myself to an eyebrow threading. I've been doing self-plucking and shaving for over a year now but still haven't managed getting my brows 'professionally' done. Since I'm taking 2 days off work, I did a quick visit to the mall to kill time while waiting for 1:00 PM. I had an appointment for parcel pickup at the post office is why.

I have been to a few waxing salons before but this is the first time I ever set foot at Lay Bare. Though I always see them almost in every mall I've been, it's either I'm not in need of their service or I don't have the luxury of time to treat myself. And just because yesterday I did, might as well give it a go!

The color of the salon really look inviting with the different shades of green theme and chic decors. There were a few cubicles on the left side and some plushy couches to seat and relax while waiting for your turn. Not as extravagant as other salons but still chic-looking on its own.

So I was at the clinic at about 11:50 AM (10 minutes earlier than my target time) and had my session about 20-30 minutes after. I was asked to fill out some necessary information and was asked to wait. Yes, I had to wait because they were still assisting a customer. There were about 4 of them inside but it seems like only 1 out of the 4 employees are working. I am not very smart about their shifts but I couldn't help thinking what others were doing. Two of the employees were just at the reception area and are chit-chatting.

For busy season, I suggest that you call and secure a slot at Lay Bare or schedule an appointment online before dropping by because if you are unlucky, you might have to wait longer (and way longer) than I did. Though I waited for about 30 minutes for my turn, I'm still very fortunate that there weren't so many customers that day.

The esthetician who assisted me asked me if I am having my period. Good thing my period just passed 'cause I didn't think of it before dropping by. Basically, the whole process lasted for just about 10 minutes at max. First, she patted some petroleum jelly on my brows probably to make it stay in place and then did the threading. She plucked the remaining tiny hairs that threading failed to remove and then applied some soothing cream after. She then instructed me not to wash the area for 24 hours and stay makeup-free for three days. The lady who did my brows was absolutely nice and skilled and even put some effort to talk about facials with me. 

The result was pretty good for its price. My brows looked more defined. The process was overall swift and neat though I had some points that I'm about to raise. I was afraid that threading might pluck out most of my hair and I would end up having thin brows. It didn't happen, as you can tell. Based on Lay Bare's website,

Lay Bare uses organic thread, which is made of 100% cotton. It has anti-bacterial properties which protects your skin from allergy or infection. You may choose between shaping your brows and/or cleaning.

So, there were two options. I initially thought threading is all about shaping and cleaning at the same time. The lady didn't inform or asked me anything about it. Clearly, what she did was the latter which isn't a bad thing at all. It's just that I would have preferred shaping my brows and give it a better arch. My brows still look like it but is so much tidier. But then again, I would like it better if it's got a more defined arch like how Browhaus does. For the price difference, I wouldn't complain though.

Another thing I noticed was that the lady did not trim my brows. Photo above shows it already trimmed by me. My brows are, though a bit sparse, composed of thick, long and unruly hair strands so I would prefer it trimmed shorter. I wanted to tell the lady but since I'm not someone who always have the guts to point out mistakes, I just kept silent. But I guess I'll have to say it to at least hype up customer satisfaction, right?

That's just basically it though. Overall, I am pretty sure I'll go visit  Lay Bare all over again for their affordable services. I'm actually thinking of availing their face waxing. What do you think? I'm just a bit hesitant because I couldn't imagine how painful that would be. For eyebrow threading first timers, it's not as painful as you think. It might come out as a bit of a shock but it's tolerable and you'll get immune to it!

First Time Waxing Your Hair? Here's What To Expect Ft. Dermcare Underarm Waxing Service

Last week, I went to Dermcare again but instead of the usual facial, I availed their waxing service. I'm currently undergoing their underarm whitening sessions which I bought from Metrodeal for such a steal price so waxing the hair down there is a prerequisite. The estheticians told me I have to wax my armpit (which was, by the way, my first time) for the reason that instead of my hair absorbing the solution, it pays to get rid of the barriers so it will go penetrate down my skin and work its wonders. Because I started to grow fond of Dermcare due to my love for their Pimple Acne Treatment with Seaweed Mask, I wanted to document all the services I have undergone so I can tell you the progress.

There isn't much to tell about the Underarm Waxing Treatment. Overall, it was very swift and it barely took me 5 minutes on their VIP room before I pack up and go home. Maybe my underarms hair weren't long enough to give the lady a hardwork. That's it for my review. Kidding!

So I was one of the many people who fall in line when SM was just about to reopen at 10:00 AM. I was at the clinic by 10:45 AM because I had to take my breakfast first. The faces who greeted me look all familiar, why not, I've been there on a third time. They asked me politely what service I'd like to avail and they even courteously asked me if I was responding to any promotions which  unfortunately, I was not. I suggest that if Metrodeal restocked on coupons about Dermcare services, you better hoard! My mistake, I only purchased one coupon each for Underarm Whitening and Diamond Peel and nothing for their waxing services. I was scared I wouldn't like any of it and I felt very wronged and regretful. Now we know.

Anyway, the lady who was assigned to me asked me to remove my top and use the towel to cover myself. She wet some wipes and clean my pits very swiftly and there she began the process. I was quite nervous since it would be the very first time I'll have someone wax my underarm hair so I didn't had the chance to observe what she was doing. I just had a glimpse of the wax which was milky white in shade and all I can tell is that she was working so fast so the wax won't turn hard enough to be applied to my skin nor hot enough to cause me blisters. She was even nice asking me if the heat of the wax is just enough for me to tolerate.

The lady applied two layers of wax for each underarm. I thought it will be very painful but uhm...it was almost painless. I'm used to plucking my hairs so that probably made me strenghten my immunity to hair removals but I really didn't expect that it would be that easy. I had to even check my pits from time to time because I felt like it didn't remove all my hair because again, it was almost painless. After waxing, the lady plucked atleast three hairs out but other than that, I was hair-free! She then applied some solutions on my skin maybe to close the pores and advice that I shouldn't wet my skin for about 8 hours. That smells nice!

The only thing that made me not so unhappy was the fact that Dermcare waxing, I guess from P150 skyrocketed to P280. If it's always this painless though, I think I would go back for more sessions! It will be more fun if Metrodeal gave us some coupons for that and I swear I'd hoard!

Dermcare Pimple Acne Treatment with Seaweed Mask

Two weeks ago, I went to Dermcare in their SM Valenzuela branch to claim the Diamond Peel that I bought from Metrodeal. I was supposed to redeem the voucher but ended up doing the pimple facial treatment instead because the lady told me I had a lot of pimples that Diamond Peel may exacerbate the infection even more. I was scared to take a risk so I opted to pay extra (though I was running out of cash) for the treatment and make a mental note to have the Diamond Peel just later on when my skin (if ever) heals. After that first session, the lady who did the facial suggested that I come back two weeks later to see if I can already have the Diamond Peel but then I came back with few more breakouts so we decided to settle for another Pimple Acne Treatment with Seaweed Mask just to be sure. Today, I’m going to share with you how I survived, kidding, how my skin has been after two sessions of Dermcare Pimple Acne Treatment with Seaweed Mask.

Upon entering the clinic, I was really in awe with Dermcare's interior. I wasn't able to take lots of pictures because I went there alone and I couldn't imagine what the staff would think if they caught me taking pictures of every corner of the salon--they don't know I will write about them, after all. The olive green and plum theme looks so lavish and I was greeted with a huge flattering mirror upon entering the clinic. The overall setup was so enough to help set the mood for relaxation.

I didn't ask for the names of the skin consultants but some of them were snob, some of them greeted me with a warm smile. I don't intend to bad-mouth them but I expected them to be at least quite more accommodating and engaging, after all, my face was just about to get murdered! Upon entering the clnic for the first time, a lady ask me to wash my face first. I was struggling with all the things I have with me, didn't know where to put them and it seems like they don't even care. They didn't even lend some help or inform me where I can put my things down for the meantime. Imagine, the first step was already a struggle!

There is a designated area for washing the face and they even provide facial wash, towels and tissues--all neatly organized beside the sink. I have been to only two facial salons aside from Dermcare and neither of them has this feature. Some people might prefer the estheticians do the cleaning while they lie down in bed, others, like me, think it's very much hygienic that we get to deep cleanse our faces thoroughly with facial wash and water first to ensure better treatment absorption before we let the specialists do the rest. Who knows how much gunk was stuck on our faces especially after a day under the sun and pollution!

So after washing my face, I pat it dry with some tissue paper and asked a lady where I could put the trash. She said "Ilagay mo na lang kahit saan diyan, ma'am. (with a bit of a lazy and commanding tone)" and I was like, seriously? Can't they provide a trash can? Luckily, the girl who was assigned to me was very timid but polite. She was also the one who did my facial the second time!

After that, she instructed me to lie down on my designated spot. There were four beds beside each other and are just separated with sheer white curtains. There weren't enough space to move and privacy 'cause the beds are so close together. I didn't know where to put my things either. The second time was easier 'cause I seem to familiarize myself with the place already.

And there the terror began...lol. She put some cream on my face, maybe to help my breakouts and pores loosen and open up, before the usual ozone steaming that lasted about 15-20 minutes. After that, she used a suction tool on my face meant to remove dirt and stuff. Again, the photos are very limited 'cause I went there all by myself. After that, the horror truly began when the lady started all the pricking and extraction of blackheads and whiteheads.

I really had lots of tiny pimples the first time I went there so only you can imagine the pain I've been through. I was trying to project a calm face but I couldn't help it! It felt as if my skin was being murdered! The lady doing it with a slightly heavy hand didn't help either. Ganun naman talaga, masakit magpa-ganda. I was crying most of the time and felt relieved when I saw how much dirt was removed from my face. The picture below could not compare to how much dirt and sebum were extracted from my face the first time I underwent the facial. Gross, right?

After all the pricking, she put some cotton soaked in cold liquid treatments on my face which stings a bit especially on areas where I had the extraction. According to her, it was an antibiotic meant to dry the pimples and prevent further infection. This lasted for about 10-15 minutes. After that, she used a laser tool (if that's what you call it) to close the pores. I opted for an add-on Seaweed Mask, the reason why I paid P650 instead of P550.

After the laser part, the lady put a netted cloth on my face, then apply some green-colored seaweed mask. This seaweed mask is very cooling and it helped alleviate pain and redness. She even put cold cucumber on my eyes, now it's more like facial advertisements I see in tarpaulins! The first time I had this treatment, the lady didn't put some cut cucumbers on. What was that all about? I don't know. After 20 minutes, the lady wiped off the mask with a warm cloth and applied some moisturizer on.

After the facial, the lady asked me to sit and she did a bit of a back massage. The second time really was more comfortable 'cause the lady engaged me in a small conversation. She even instructed me not to wash my face for 24 hours and suggested I buy their Clindamycin to help dry my pimples. I've known this antibiotic because of Bioessence so I agreed. After the session, my face looks very red which is just an aftermath of facial. Good thing, I don't have work the next day.

Overall, I like Dermcare Services. My face was soft and smooth the following days though I have to really work hard to remove the blemishes it created. The facial worked well with my current skincare and I'm looking forward to lesser breakouts now! I am yet to have my third session and would probably just stop after I got rid of most breakouts. All I wish is for the estheticians to be friendlier and also, the sheets and bedding to be cleaner.

Brow Construction and Lash in Bloom by Browhaus Manila

Yesterday (April 19, 2017), I claimed my free sessions of Basic Brow Shaping Service and Lash Extension at Browhaus--thanks to Sample Room! Through this blog post, I want to share with you how the procedures were done and the quality of the service given.

On Sunday before April 19, I booked an appointment for Monday through SMS. A responsive staff replied that Monday was already fully-booked and suggested that I claim my vouchers on Tuesday instead. We both agreed for 12 PM appointment the next day. She even asked for my name for the booking and confirmed it to me by afternoon. The next day, Adrian accompanied me to their Lucky China Town branch and was disappointed because the receptionist told me that there was no appointment booked for 12 noon and that my name wasn't even there. She also told me that I can only claim voucher one at a time (I have two). I told her that the treatments will be for my graduation and she suggested though that she will checked the appointment herself and that if I can claim both the vouchers at the same day. I was just so thankful to her and to the other staff for being so accommodating and nice all throughout the procedure.

BROW HOUSE BROW CONSTRUCTION - BASIC BROW SHAPING SERVICE, P698

The store looks cute, hygienic and comfortable. The staff who did the process was swift and informative as she always talked to me, informing me what she will do next. First, she cleaned my brows, then threaded it. She removed the remaining hairs on my brows by plucking them. The whole process was almost painless and I did not shed a tear like how I always do whenever I pluck my brows. It's probably because the one who groomed my brows was really skilled and swift. After that, she applied something like cream on it which was a little minty to soothe redness and sting. The whole process took less than 10 minutes.

Though my brows are more well-shaped and groomed, I still notice that there are still tiny hairs on the areas near my brows which I plucked just earlier. I also cut the inner portions of the brows as they are quite longer now. My brows may look a lot groomed now than ever, the procedure did not make it completely neater.

This process lasted more than an hour. The staff told me that I have long lashes already so she would just add a little length to it without diverting from a natural look. I did not protest because I also want natural-looking lashes. What she did first was put something like a tape on the arch of my eyes and according to Adrian, it looked like it separated my bottom lashes from the upper ones. She kept asking me if what she's doing was comfortable so that made me feel like I was in safe and light hands.

The staff individually tabbed one lash at a time on my natural lashes. The process was almost painless except I felt a little sting on my left eye area while doing the procedure. I did not experience the same on the other though.

After everything was done, the one doing my extensions showed me the final result and I must say they were pretty impressive. The lashes they used were really soft and of high-quality. My lashes look really lengthened and thickened but still natural-looking. It's not uncomfortable wearing the extensions unlike falsies which add length to lashes. These feels weightless and non-irritating as well. It also does not clump together and effectively enhance the natural shape of the eyes. I can now skip mascaras or even eye makeups because my eyes look better already. However, if you look closely, you can spot distance between my upper lid and the false lashes. But maybe it's really glued not from the roots so the skin around your eyes won't get irritated.

After 4 hours, a friend of mine reached for my face and there she showed me that I had a fallout. The following day (today), while carefully cleaning my face with a cleansing tissue (no washing of the face for a day), I spotted two lashes on my cheeks. I also had two fall outs by noon so that's five lashes which just got removed from my extensions. Will update you though what would happen on the succeeding days and if the treatment was worth it.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

Overall, I was not super satisfied with the Browhaus Lash In Bloom service probably because I find that the extensions can be easily removed even I try my best not to touch or rub my eyes, etc. The staff were nice and professional but I would still prefer trying out budget-friendly services in the future. That said, I might not repurchase unless they give massive discounts or promos. Nonetheless, I would still recommend trying out these services if you want swift but beautiful results!

UPDATE AS OF 4/21/17

-On the third day (today), I got more more than 10 fallouts. 3 upon washing my face while carefully drying it with a tissue paper (I don't use towels now to dry my face because of its rough texture that may accidentally remove falsies), 4-5 during applying makeups for my graduation, Another 5 when I washed my face in the evening.
-On 4th and 5th day, my eyelashes already looked sparse.

Purifying Facial + Diamond Peel at Bioessence

Last April 04, 2017, Adrian and I went to Bioessence, SM Megamall to avail their purifying facial service. I used to go to their Binondo Branch because the place is more familiar and accessible for me, unfortunately, my voucher (perk of being an SM Advantage Card holder) that entitled me to a free Diamond Peel for any treatment purchased worth P1000 and up only has to be redeemed at Biossence inside SM Malls.

I was shy at first but when we entered Bioessence, the staff approached us first and accommodate us until the end of the sessions. We were advised to take the clarifying facial (P1000) but settled on purifying facial (P1000) instead because I remembered the recommendation from the staff of their Binondo branch before that I should get the latter as it is intended for those with oily skin and large pores like me.

The Biossence SM Megamall branch was smaller than their Binondo branch (if I am not mistaken), but of the same ambience--very soothing and calm. The place looks comforting and even the tools that were utilized were hygienic and sanitized. We were placed in a room with two separate beds and they did the procedure to the both of us at the same time.

Purifying Facial is a detoxifying facial treatment that is more recommended for oily skin and open pores for active pimples and acne-prone skin as well as for whitening effect. It includes deep cleaning, ozone steam, extraction of blackheads and whiteheads, use of oxygen enzyme and seaweed masks, both with antibacterial effect. The bioptron machine and high-frequency laser are also used for healing acne, drying up pimples and closing open pores. A relaxing back massage is given after the treatment. It absorbs excess oil of the skin, prevents pimple formation and lightens dark spots and pigmentation.

Adrian told me that the preliminary massage made first thing was really nice and it made him sleepy. Well, I felt the same thing. Unfortunately, the massage lasted for only about two minutes. It was really quick but super relaxing and the aromatic scent was soothing to the senses.

After the massage, the staff cleansed our face to prepare it for further treatment. By the way, Adrian was the one taking all the pictures, it was kinda hard for him, first, because he was having the same treatment and second, he was so sleepy (uhm, we were both sleepy) that he soon fell asleep, hence, he missed capturing some of the steps like the moment our faces were being cleansed. Lol.

After cleansing the face, we were left in the room for about 10-15 minutes (I think) so the steam could work its way to opening the pores. For me, that 15-minute step was too long because as I remember in their Bioessence Binondo Branch, the way they did ozone steam to me was very quick.

Here comes the most dreaded part of the treatment, the pricking and removing of breakouts on the face. This procedure was too fast and the staff was quick in pricking my breakouts so as opposed to my first facial at Bioessence, pain here was more tolerable as it's quick so there's lesser time to react. After this, they put something like a gauge on our faces and they use the high-frequency laser tool to close the pores. It was quick, painless and I was amazed. It's probably because I only took the basic facial before that the laser tool had direct contact on my skin (it was a little bit painful than with the gauge) or they changed the process.

After that, the staff applied the oxygen enzyme and seaweed mask which feels so good after pricking and using of laser. The mask was cold and refreshing. If I am not mistaken, it took 10-15 minutes (mask has already dried up) before they removed it.

After cleaning the face, they put some solution on our faces which stings a bit and I think, this was the part when Diamond Peel was being executed. I don't know if this was what they called the "application of facial mask" because we were only applied a single mask in the whole duration of the treatment and that was the oxygen enzyme and seaweed mask--part of the Purifying Facial. Anyway, after putting the solution, there was sort of a peeling process with the use of a tool that seemed to suck out dead skin cells. Then they put something like moisturizer on the skin which hides the redness on my face.

Diamond Peel Facial is a facial treatment which stimulates the production of fresh and young skin cells through the amazing exfoliation powers of the Diamond Crystal that polishes the skin. It includes preliminary massage, cleansing and toning, ozone steam, extraction of blackheads and whiteheads and application of facial mask. It lightens pigmentation, exfoliates dead skin cells, and prevents formation of fine lines and wrinkles.

We took the treatment in the afternoon (3:00-4:00PM) after we have done all the plans for the day because I was afraid to go home looking like my breakouts were brutally removed that they have gone red (first facial experience). Probably, it was because of the Diamond Peel that made our skin looked fresher, brighter and clearer.

Even though the facial services at Bioessence are way pricier than other facial salons I know, I would still splurge for the awesome services, accommodation and products because I'm always getting what I have paid for. To show the love, I even repurchased their Acnetrol Set which kept my breakouts away. Now, I am back to using the set to have a more clarified skin for my graduation day.

First Time Basic Facial at Bioessence

Clearly, me on my first ever facial at Bioessence is a lot different from the statement: me on my first ever facial. And when I say first ever facial, I meant that it was really the first time I underwent a facial treatment involving real facial therapist and her skin care advises. Usually, it's just me and some research about skin-care-at-home and do-it-yourself projects. Though afraid of pain, I decided I need this time to be more like a real beauty blogger (lol) since that's what I am telling everyone and I guess, it's pretty normal when you love facials and treatments, right?

And it all started like this.

I was just visiting random beauty accounts on Instagram and I accidentally dropped by Bioessence. I was right on time because they were hosting a giveaway about Naked Beauty where participants only had to upload a bare face selfie and answer the question that Bioessence gave which will serve to be the caption. The winner will get a free basic facial and will be the face of the week. Winners will be chosen every Friday, by the way, you can still join! Being an avid giveaway-joiner, I tried my luck again and fortunately, I was chosen. I claimed my free basic facial at their Bionondo Branch last Monday. My boyfriend was really kind enough to escort me there, taking photos while I was undergoing the treatment (sounds like I'm having some serious disease lol).

The first thing they did was slightly massage my face then prep my skin up by the usual removing of makeup, cleansing and scrubbing. 

After making sure that my skin is already clean, they set up the steam to open up my pores for deep cleansing. I'm pretty sure you are all familiar with this step as you can do this even at your home if you want to pamper yourselves and give some time to homey facial. This step will also relax your tired skin and open up your pores to make it easier to remove deep impurities.

The next step was the painful one (extraction of pus, etc) but it really depends on the severity of troubles on your skin because they sort of pop and prick them each and remove the dirt inside the pores. It was painful though eventually, you'll get immune to it. I think, those that do not have this much pimples on the face would not really feel any pain at all. By the way, closing your eyes tight would really help a lot lol.

Once they are done with all the removal of pimples, blackheads and whiteheads, they are going to seal your pores again with the laser. And then, they will cover your face with this kind of mask which stings a bit probably because I just had some extraction. Nonetheless, the sting was tolerable.

By the way, here's some Acnetrol products that we purchased since according to the facial therapist, these products will heal all the pimples that I got on my face. She advised me to come back after a week or two for a purifying facial treatment best for my oily skin.

This is the third day since I last had my facial and so far so good! My friend even complimented my skin saying that it looks firmer and it felt like it too! There's no post allergic reaction whatsoever but a couple of new pimple breakout on my jaw area probably results from the sudden change of skin care regimen. Nonetheless, I love how my visage turned smoother and softer! I might go back in two weeks ha!
