Huge Price Drop on Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette!

I don't know about you but I find Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette pans way too gorgeous. The fact that it's now only $20 (used to be $39) makes it even more charming. Yes, Morphe has it for such a great bargain price, almost hard-to-miss! I just recently did a huge brush haul the last time they had individual collab brush sale and now I'm tempted to do another one. Hmf. Not the best time to splurge during lock down season and budget's tight but who knows, I might be (about 90% probability of) changing my mind! In case you've been eyeing this for a long time, now's the best time to snag a palette or you can have two, you know. LOL. Keep in mind that this deal won't last forever so...what are you gonna do? To splurge or save? Help me decide too!!!

Morphe Sale + Wishlist 2020

I don't know about you but I'm too ecstatic right now because some of the Morphe palettes I've been eyeing for god-knows-how-long are on sale! With the strict measures implemented by couriers and shops due to Covid-19, I'm kind of torn if this is the right time to make a purchase - assuming that it would take months before my parcel lands to the post office. My money being on-hold for a few months bothers me too and my guilt might probably kill me if I splurge for unnecessary things during this crisis. Psh. Anyway, I'm still thinking it over but for now, here are the sale palettes I got my eyes on.

35B COLOR BURST ARTISTRY PALETTE

35V STUNNING VIBES ARTISTRY PALETTE

35R READY, SET, GOLD ARTISTRY PALETTE

35M BOSS MOOD ARTISTRY PALETTE

35F FALL INTO FROST ARTISTRY PALETTE

35O2 SECOND NATURE ARTISTRY PALETTE

You can get these babies at AU $23 instead of AU $36. If you are somewhere ordering from the Philippines (like me), better purchase in Australian Dollars than EU/US because the conversion would be cheaper to Philippine Peso. So yeah, that's pretty much it. There are more palettes and makeups to choose from - these are just a few that caught my attention. You can save up to 50% off and we'll never know until when the sale will be so you know what to do. Would love to know what's on your cart! Remember to take care, stay at home and hydrate!

Quick Review of Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush

Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush
Bought for: P900
Bought from: an online shop

I’ve said it a hundred times and I’m going to say it again out loud—I love makeup brushes. I recently hoarded a few sets and now I have more than what I’ll ever need for a polished makeup look. But guess what? I still dream of owning a lot more from brands like Spectrum, Marc Jacobs, Mac, Bobbie Brown, Charlotte Tilbury , Morphe, etc... Which is why I decided to get an individual brush from a retailer of Morphe to try out the ever-so-famous M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush.

I know you’ll find a lot of review and videos tackling what’s so great about this brush, but I think it won’t hurt to provide another review from someone who’s very picky with makeup brushes. Shall we start then?

CLAIMS

This full, domed brush has the density to apply foundation evenly and flawlessly. One of our most popular brushes for buffing foundation to an airbrushed finish.

Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush has a silver ferrule and a short matte black handle. It also has a weight to it so I can tell it wasn’t intentionally made to be a useless, flimsy product. The brand’s name and code are printed on the handle in silver fonts. I like that it looks very simple and professional, but I would appreciate little fancier features. The chubby handle gives me a good grip and aids in precise foundation application. And with its length, I find it very compact and travel-friendly.

The brush indeed has a full, domed head with dense two-toned synthetic bristles that is way softer than my actual hair. :D I like that the hair is so soft that they won’t prick the skin nor cause irritation. I am very particular with brush heads. I like face brushes that are huge and dense to cover a large area in a single motion. Huge face buffer brush gets the job done very quickly, saving you both time and effort. Moreover, I want the bristles to be velvety soft and not a single pokey hair because they can open up the pores and exfoliate skin in a very disturbing motion. This is not the case with this brush. It is just so light and soft and will blend your liquid products like a dream.

Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush has synthetic bristles, so it doesn’t soak up too much product. I like that it distributes both liquid and powder products in an even, airbrushed finish with ease.

I’ve tried and washed this brush already and I’m pleased to know that it doesn’t lose its shape. When I first bought it, there were like a few hairs sticking out but that was it. I didn’t experience any major shedding afterwards. If you are looking for a high quality, reasonably-priced foundation buffer brush, I highly recommend Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer. I can tell that it will last me a very long time and I’ll make sure to buy a backup soon.

Have you tried this buffer brush from Morphe? What foundation brushes do you recommend?
