I remember me obsessing so much about blushes that  hoarded a lot in different shades from bright pinks to peaches and corals until I started either giving or selling them away because my tiny stash can't seem to accommodate everything anymore. One palette that's so near to my heart is this Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in Hot Spice which is the only blush palette I decided to keep for myself until now because I just think that it has every shade of blush I need.

Packaging

The product comes in a sleek black palette with gold carvings displaying the brand and its name. When you pull it open, you will see a large compact mirror inside that's about the size of the palette itself. Don't you just find it awesome? Overall, the packaging does not look cheap and feels so sturdy too. It's also perfect for travelling because you get 8 shades in just one compact!

Shade

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette comes in 2 palettes namely Hot Spice and Sugar and Spice. I had a hard time choosing which one to get to be honest. Sugar and Spice has all the prettiest shades of pink blushes you can't think of and it makes me think it would really make me look so fresh when I wear them. Hot Spice, on the other hand, has more warmth to it and since I'm not that super fair to begin with, I just settled to the palette that's has more muted pink-peach shades. I know my swatches does not give much justice but believe me, the colors look so much more alive and pigmented in person.

Texture & Ease of Application

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in Hot Spice has blushers with shimmers, matte and baked textures. Those that has a bit of shimmers (but not of equal amount) to it are the 1st, 3rd and 7th pans. The 2nd and the 6th are matte blushers. The one that's really glittery is the 5th pan. Obviously, the two at the right ends are baked highlighter (4th) and blusher (8th).

What I love most about them is despite the fact that it's affordable compared to high-end blushers, each pans have good pigmentation and I find them wearable on a daily basis. They are easy to disperse on the cheeks and a little goes a long, long way already. I, in fact, had this mistake of swirling my brush just twice and I get a really strong pop of color on my cheeks! It was the 1st pan I believe. I ended up redoing my makeup haha!

Starting from bottom to up:

• 1st pan - it's almost muted brown in color as you look it in the pan, not too creamy but very pigmented. It's a beautiful peach shade once applied and is long-wearing.

• 2nd pan - a beautiful peachy pink shade when applied with no shimmers at all, slightly powdery softness but not chalky

• 3rd pan - gives a brighter flush of pink color than the 2nd, with obvious gold shimmers, texture is comparable to the 1st.

• 4th pan - winterish in shade, this highlighter looks really nice and pigmented although I think it would suit those with cool undertones more perfectly.

• 5th pan - does not look so wearable on the pan with its orange-y shade and glittery texture, surprisingly, it applies nicely and I don't know why but this blush is buildable to a darker shade of peach that can complement fair-skinned gals.

• 6th pan - matte in texture, almost similar to 2nd in a lot of ways but one thing I noticed is that it attracts light so it looks like the 2nd with a bit of highlighting properties.

• 7th pan - a bit shimmery and the least pigmented so it's sort of the blush that feels mistake-proof

• 8th pan - this is a baked blusher that looks more subtle when compared to the others, similar to the 7th but attracts light better, it looks light a blusher and a highlighter in one.

Overall Performance

Since I have oily skin, I prefer to opt for the ones that are matte in finish. I don't like looking dewy all over and I think a bit of highlight on the high areas of my face is perfectly enough. I don't like emphasizing my cheeks with shimmers too 'cause I have large pores and huge cheeks for that matter. Although this palette have shimmers on most of the pan, I still love using this for it's long-wearing at about 6 hours which is quite a feat given my super oily skin. Shades are also buildable and wearable on a daily basis.

If you are starting with makeups, you can invest in this palette! It's a beautiful piece to use to mix and match shades without breaking the bank.

Have you experienced seeing something for the first time and all you ever think was, "I gotta have this." I'm pretty sure it was love at first sight I felt upon spotting these Shawill Blushers on the one small corner along the makeup aisle. It was just a moment and my eyes dropped instantly on these lovely blushers. My eyes focused first on the packaging which looks like it's worth over five hundred bucks, then on the dual shades--in different hues of pink, blushes of my type. I was hesitant to pick it up from the shelf and look at the price tag because I was afraid to lose all hopes I brought with me. No, I was serious! They did look pricey and all I have, to be honest, was P500 in my purse. How could I ever purchase all the shades when I'm broke!?

After I gathered all gradually falling hopes at once, I decided to take a peak and was SO shocked it was only P128 a blush! The saleslady came by and told me it was on sale at only P79! Holy cow!

Claims: Rich fine powder particles, easy to apply evenly with a fresh feeling, non-greasy, keeping, skin comfortable, captures the natural essence for a healthy glowing skin. Shawill blusher has the right amount of shimmer(?) to highlight your cheekbones while absorbent keep it looking fresh all day. Each blush shade was created for all skin types so that everyone can enjoy a youthful shine.

I was kind of confused with the "right amount of shimmer" phrase because I did not find the product shimmery. In fact, it resembles pressed powders in compacts that are matte-looking.

Ingredients: Talcum Powder, Mica Powder, Calcium Carbonate, Kaolin, Zince Oxide, Zinc Stearate,Titanium Dioxide, Propylparaben, Methyl Paraben, Perfume, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Dimethicone, Paraffinum Liquidum

Sad to say, this product has parabens on it which according to some, may cause harmful effects to consumer's health. I was just comforted with the fact that since birth, I probably had taken doses of products that were infused with parabens but look at me, I'm still living and kicking. Lol.

Packaging: I find it hard to collect all of the blushers in the Shine Blossom Collection because my eyes seem to be playing tricks on me since I could not figure out if I got all shades correctly. I took time figuring out if a blush is different to what I'm holding because I couldn't see the shade title anywhere. I do hope the owners come up with shade titles so choosing would be much easier instead of just numbers.

They were not consistent with the packaging as well. That was the major downfall I noticed with this product.  Others have numbers on top of the boxes that show which shade you are holding. 2 of the boxes have numbers at the back, two of these do not. 2 of the boxes have numbers on top of the box, two do not. All four has numbers at the back, but notice that the first and second blushers state that they are shades number 2 when they are clearly very different from each other. Please check the pictures above. Also, I didn't know there was small stickers at the back with the number printed in gold until I removed the plastic because the shade numbers were blocked by the price tags. 

The boxes also display enough information like descriptions, ingredients, contents, directions for use, expiry dates, seal and proof of authenticity, etc.

The compact is similar to the size of typical circular compact powders except the cover of these blushers are not mechanically attached to its body. You have to twist the cap and to really remove it to access the blusher. It also does not have any accompanying applicator or mirror which might disappoint others who do their makeups on vehicles.

The whole container has that cheap-plastic-material feel to it (miraculously, it looks pricey when looked at), but yeah, the product itself compensate for it in my opinion. Be careful in storing these as they could easily break once fallen. But one good thing about it is the huge amount of product inside. The pan is almost as big and wide as the compact. I do hope I captured these blushers with a coin beside for dimension.

The first blusher I opened has that loose feel between the pan and the plastic material because I hear it shakes. The second blusher seem to be manufactured in a haphazard manner because it has a rift in the middle (please check photo below). The other two I think have undergone better packing process.

Nonetheless, despite many faulty blah blah (can't find the exact word lol), this product is surprisingly very lightweight and definitely, will not consume much weight on bags.

Scent: Slightly fragranced. The scent very much reminded of affordable pressed powders from local brands. For me, it's not bothersome at all, in fact, I happen to like it.

Texture and ease of application: I can say that the textures of these blushers are between powdery and creamy as its neither too chalky nor too rich. The only shade I that has both minor fall outs and average color payoff during my swatch is the second one. Nonetheless, I think I could use it to my advantage as it has the highest possibility of being a mistake-proof blusher. The rest are really pigmented and has strong color payoff especially the first and the last blushers. Therefore, I advise you to ALWAYS tap off excess after you swirl off the brush on the pan to avoid overdoing your blush. Always remember that a little of these goes a long way already. I forgot to do this when I wore this yesterday and I ended up redoing my makeup since the blush was kinda hard to remove once applied. I find that the product are easy to blend on cheeks as wll. Again, none of these looks shimmery but matte, like pressed powders.

This has a deep pink color payoff so it's the shade you have to be most careful about as it could look like overdid blush even when applied in small amount. What I do to tone down the fuchsia-ness is to tap away the excess and rub the brush a few times on a tissue paper afterwards before buffing it on the apples of my cheeks. Doing this results to a natural rosy look and is more compatible to fair-skinned girls.

This shade has the sheerest color payoff probably because of the powdery texture and gives a baby pink flush to your cheeks. This looks like barbie pink which I find cute, really. It's the most similar shade to my favorite Nichido creme blush in champagne something in which I have received a few compliments before.

I don't know why but this shade seems to me that it's like a transition from pink to peach shade. It looks nice as well and is pigmented.

This shade has a peachy undertone which suits warm-toned girls like me. I think that it is the best shade that can be worn regardless of any complexion you have. Among four shades, for me, this is the easiest to blend as it has the creamiest formula with mild to zero fall outs.

Application: Sometimes, I prefer mixing the two shades on the pan, other times, I prefer using just one.  I think that was the magic behind blushers like this, you can go either way and you're not ever going wrong with it. I think the most-reached shades would be the second (for a naturally fresh blush-on) and fourth shade as they are the most wearable shades for me.

Longevity: In my oily skin, it is already an achievement that a reasonably priced blushers like these lasted on me for about 5-6 hours straight with no retouch. I still like the subtle stain though as it makes me look like I have a naturally flushed complexion.

Overall, I love Shawill Makeup Cosmetics Shine Blossom Blushers so much! These pinks in different hues are so easy to mix and match to have that preferred flush for the day. I just hope they come up with more shades like more of those with peach or beige undertones to really cater to any complexion. For the so affordable price tags but impressive pigmentation and longevity, I definitely would repurchase. I highly recommend these compacts to anyone who likes to play, mix and match blushers and those who are in a tight budget. You can never go wrong with these, ladies!

I've always been a fan of organic and natural-infused products. I've said it a hundred times but oh well, it's something that would never change for women like me who wants to feed our very skin with only goodness from healthy ingredients. Pretty in Pink Face and Body Blush

Claims: This sugar beet blush cream for face and body is for those who desire a mestiza look. An instant solution for pinker, healthier and more appealing you.

The product comes in an opaque plastic tub with 50ml content of product. And because it's a dip and apply process, you might think that it could be a little unhygienic for everyday use. Don't fret because washing your hands or applying product with clean hands would solve the problem. Anyway, a little of it would go a long way already, that is, if you use it on small areas of the body like cheeks, hands and feet to make it look flushed.

When opened, you'll catch a whiff of sweetness which for me, is something that smells so nice. Can't really describe it though. It got the consistency of a cream with bright pink shade (photograph's a bit deceiving) that looks, well, yummy in front of my eyes lol. Seriously, it looks so cute! When applied on skin, you will notice how it leaves pinkish stain which lasts a long time. This is why I like putting it on the bones of my cheeks as well as hands and feet palms so they would look like they are fresh from mani and pedi. Another things is that it does not feel greasy nor sticky, in fact, it dries almost matte. Swatched is provided below for your reference.

Overall, I like this especially for an effortlessly fresh no-makeup makeup look. With this, yu can now achieve a mestiza look without spending so much!

Snow White Skin Intense Whitening Lotion

Claims: When you simply can't wait to look fairer, Snow White Skin gives you the fastest and most effective solution, with regular use can also lighten complexion.

This lotion comes in a pump bottle with small  product content. The pink sticker really catches my attention. It looks so girly haha! Anyway, good thing, it's got all important details like name, description and other proof of authenticity.

When dispensed, you're going to get a formula that is a little bit runny, which dries easily and into an almost semi-matte finish. However, you have to blend as fast as you can as it tend to stick on the dry patches of your skin and create white cast as soon as it dries. Upon drying, you will notice how your skin turns at least a tad lighter than the rest of your body. However, it would look awkward if you have yellow undertone because the creamy white formula won't blend well on it.

One tip I could share with you to achieve a seamless finish is that try to apply a moisturizing lotion prior to applying Snow White Skin Intense Whitening Lotion so the blending would be a lot easier. I love using the Leiania House of Beauty Ultra Whitening and Tone Lotion because that lotion is so moisturizing. That way, the white cast would be balanced out.

Using it for more than a week does not really made a significant difference in terms of my skin tone. However, applying it everyday would definitely make your skin look more radiant and glowing without the sticky feeling.

Miracle White Glutha Lotion

Claims: Glutathione is the classic skin whitening source. It effectively whitens slowly but surely and almost permanently.

This lotion comes in a pump bottle as well, although this one comes in a flat-surface bottle rather than cylindrical. The formula is very similar to the Snow White Intense Whitening Lotion, but the white cast it creates is more subtle. This lotion has a runny consistency and dries to a semi-matte finish as well.

I have nothing against the scent of the three products but I like the scent of this better than the Snow White Intense Whitening Lotion. Can't exactly describe it though, I'm really bad with scents. I also like that this product does not feel greasy but sometimes, it feels heavy on the skin.

Just like the first lotion, this one leaves skin looking glowing and radiant though in a more natural way. I would say that even if it has limited product inside, a little would go a long way already. However, using these religiously is required to acquire noticeable results. On first use, you will notice that it makes skin appear whiter as swatched below. However, be careful as it also tends to cling on folds and dry patches.
