Jeunesse Anion Ultra Thin Super Absorbent Sanitary Napkins Review

Jeunesse Anion Sanitary Napkins
Bought for: Free
From: Jeunesse Anion

To be honest, Jeunesse is an alien brand to me until I got invited to one of their events that happened in Marriot Hotel somewhere in Pasay few months ago. You can read what transpired that day here, by the way. Anyway, long story short, I got the chance to try all 5 variants including the panty liners. I have been using them on red days (of course) for three consecutive months now and I think I'm ready to share with you, girls, my thoughts about them. Keep reading if you want to know more about them!

Sorry girls, I forgot to include the Jeunesse Anion All Night Pad which is the one that will give you superior protection for red days whenever you're having really heavy flows. So basically, all of these pads are just made with the same absorbent material and they differ on the length and purpose. You can choose which variant to use for any situation whether night or day, light or heavy. I suggest you stock on all these because I am pretty sure you'll have a different need everyday during your period. In my case, I am using either the Ultra Day Pad (green) or Ultra Night Pad (purple) during the day, the All Night Pad (blue green) when I sleep, the Ultra Day Non-wing (blue) when I'm about to end my cycle and panty-liners on a daily basis.

All of the pads has this 7 Layers of Protection

These products stands out from the rest for it comes with unique anion strips that is known to mainly prevent genital and gynecological problems which usually involves cancer, diseases in the reproductive organs, and could be about menstrual cramps too. Also, it helps prevent odor and bacteria. I believe it was discussed by the gynecologist during the millennial fair and truth be told, I missed it for I was out to take a work-related call. I wouldn't pretend I know very much about the science behind negative and positive ions related to anion strips and as a result, I have to look for it through Mr. Google and here's what I've found:

Anion sanitary pads have an Anion strip inside the cotton setting, which emits high density Anions when used. During the process of Anion neutralization, the released oxygen could suppress the major source that causes gynecological diseases. The generation of anaerobe decreases the odds of gynecological diseases and the whole process is chemical free. (http://www.anionaus.com/anion)

As you can tell, the pads themselves are really thin but don't belittle them! As you can tell by the picture below, there's the green anion strip at the center and the pad looks very soft and absorbent. Indeed, they are. It's made of quality and freshness. The adhesive is quite nice as well for it does not move even after a long day.

To be honest, I was quite hesitant to use the pads at first 'cause they look very thin and weak. Even with my small built, I use to have really heavy flows for 3 days that I need to change my pads every 2-3 hours. And having serious back leaks would really be a struggle for me since I need to take 4 modes of transportation before I get home. Just imagine how embarrassed I can be while feeling discomfort, right? But because I have to use them at my own risk, fine.

The first time I have the pad on, I didn't really feel comfortable at all. I had to make sure every now and then that it's holding strong. What I really like about them is that they don't irritate my skin there (or makes it itchy) unlike other pads that are netted (is that how you call them?). These are very soft and gentle and does not cause me any irritation at all. It's absorbency is quite powerful that you'll feel dry most of the time. What I don't like is that the liquid tends to settle only at the center part and fails to at least spread a bit and utilize the whole pad. I always end up having side leaks so I have to change as soon as the liquids are reaching the wing part.

Overall, I really enjoyed using Jeunesse Anion Sanitary Napkins. Aside from it's benefit to the health and reproductive system, I noticed that it makes my cramps feel less severe and it also reduces odor and discomfort. When you got used to it, you'll definitely conclude that the pads are very breathable and you have 5 variants to choose from -- ultra-day pad (stay active and protected without worries even on heavy days), day pad non-wing (gives you protection for medium days that are less active), ultra night pad (gives you protection for medium days while you sleep), all-night (gives you maximum protection for heavy flow red days while you sleep), and panty liner (keeps you fresh and protected even during very light days).

These are very affordable and in fact, you can visit Jeunesse Anion website for discounted prices when you bought them in combos! Let me know what you think by commenting down below! Happy blogging!

Jeunesse Anion Millenial Fair

Last September 13, Jeunesse Anion invited me to a Millenial Fair happened at Garden Rooms, Marriot Hotel Manila. I was hesitant to pay a visit at first 'cause I haven't been to an event where bloggers unite. I wasn't that even outgoing enough to interact with fellow bloggers 'cause I always had this inferiority complex. Why not? I don't write really well and I am still yet to learn more about designing my blog (I am not satisfied with my template), SEO and stuff. I have still a long way to go.

Long story short, I realized that I have to take a step forward and grow as a blogger. This might even open doors for more opportunities and I wouldn't know how it feels to be interacting with fellow bloggers had I not come. It was really fun attending the event, very fulfilling to see familiar faces and bring out the fan girl in me.

Jeunesse Anion is known for their sanitary napkins which effectively prevent bacteria, reduce feminine discomfort and eliminate odor--which is what women who are always on-the-go need!

The event started before 12:00 PM I think 'cause we're waiting for more guests. No one can blame them though since the weather's really terrible. I, in fact, wasn't supposed to come since I was afraid I'd end up getting wet from the storm but thank goodness weather permitted!

Millenial Fair was hosted by Jeanine Tsoi, the famous UAAP courtside reporter. The talk done by the gynecologist, Ms. Faith Suluen, was really informative for she tackled more about proper hygiene and reproductive health. Ms. Nicole Romero (beautyandsparkle.com) talks about beauty and wellness, on the other hand, which interests me most. Why not? I am a beauty blogger myself lol! Her sister, Ms. Camille Romero, a holistic health coach, highlights health and fitness and even shared some delicious home-made recipes to keep the body healthy and fit. I think I'll do the red pesto soon lol.

We were served with delicious food from rice to korean food and viants to freshly-cooked pasta for hungry tummies like mine! Chef cooked the food on the spot, performing the teppanyaki method of cooking, and even asked each of us what ingredients did we want. Me, who's not really good in cooking, just chose sauteed garlic with mushroom and cheese to sauce my pasta without even really thinking what my food would taste like lol. I ended up enjoying my meal though.

I was already full by the time I finished my plate of garlic and mushroom pasta with potato salad and kimchi. Gaaah! Potato salad is heaven!

The highlight of the event was the Q & A session with Jeanine Tsoi and Christine Patrimonio, the newest ambassador of Jeunesse Anion and who was famous for being an multi-awarded tennis player. There, we learned more about how she and her sister started as well as their lifestyle being a sports lovers.

Here are some selfies taken by Diane. Thank you for taking photos of me here! I never thought I'd get some perfect selfies lol.

And of course, I didn't miss the chance to have a selfie with Genzel, Christine and Diane! So nice meeting all these gorgeous people!

And here's the stuff I brought home after the event. Looks like I'll have one year of supply of sanitary napkins lol. And thank you so much to all generous sponsors who made this event possible: Clara Ole, Jergens, Caronia, etc.

I am sorry I have lots of photos uploaded, I don't know which ones to post so. Anyway, it was, overall, a really fun and educating event. I learned a lot about beauty and wellness and I'm looking forward to more Jeunesse Anion events! For more information about them, visit their social media accounts!
