Onsaemeein Yogurt Peeling Gel Review

Onsaemeein Yogurt Peeling Gel, 100ml
Bought for: P300
Bought from: Althea Philippines

Claims: Softy removes dead skin cells with its Microcrystalline Cellulose (anti-caking scrub), Goat Milk Extract (moisturizing, conditioning), Chamaecyparis Obtusa Leaf Extract (improving skin tone and protecting skin), Scutellaria BaicalensisRoot Extract (natural preservative), Papaya Extract (conditioning skin, peeling) and Yogurt Extract (increasing elasticity and improving skin tone). Recommended for people who want improving skin tone and skin texture immediately and to people whose skin does not take cosmetics and makeup.

I hate to always give time for extra skin pampering like putting on masks or peeling gels. Most of the time I only have to let them sit on my skin for a maximum of five to ten minutes once to thrice a week. Can't really stand the long hours of doing nothing because I'm afraid the sheet will fall off my face once I do something. In fact, the last time I hoarded mask sheets was like months ago. And would you be surprised if I tell you I only used two of what I have? For wash off or peeling masks, although I have A LOT in my stash, only a few made it to my product empties because I ended up tossing them away, selling them or giving them as giveaway prizes. And because, I have found another product to put on my face months ago which really sold me, here's a review which I think is a bit premature since I haven't finished the tub yet. I actually have another one which I bought with Skin Food Rice Mask Wash-off and which I ended up selling again.

Please don't assume that I am an impulsive buyer, well, I was once (lol) but I'm totally changed. I bought extra masks when I won Althea Credits months ago, okay? Why am I so defensive here lol.

Anyway, the point is, I am so excited to share with you my thoughts about this Onsaemeein Yogurt Peeling Gel  because it's just one of the few skin care products which I happened to like and use religiously in my skin care routine. Just like what I have said, I used to have an extra tub then but I realized I needed more cash so I sell it.

If you are an ingredient-conscious like me, here's for yah. I just hope you can read the words above because they are too dinky to be read. I also included the description on the product box just in case you can read Korean. I don't.

The container of the product is very simple--it comes in a small jar with very appealing bright pink sticker. It also comes with an inner plastic lid that seals in freshness. I think product with inner lids are very tricky since you would have to take extra care where to put it once you use the product itself. I like to toss them away because they add hassle but not when a spatula is provided. Also, I like that this has a spatula so I would not have to use my fingers to scoop up product. Very hygienic, indeed.

The spatula looks like small spoon with a hollow on the middle so you can scoop a good amount with ease. Others only have flat surface so getting product is more challenging.

If the description is written in Korean which basically is unreadable to me, at least it displayed its expiry date below. Hmmm, look who's got a long shelf life!

For me, the product smells nice and mild and I don't think anyone would find it off-putting. Well, I think it has a sweet scent like yogurt, definitely because it has yogurt. I'm talking non-sense. Oh c'mon, you know I'm bad at describing scents!

The product comes in a pearly white shade and the consistency is somehow of an average thickness. In fact, if reminds me very much of iWhite Korea 2-minute Miracle Special Wash-off Mask. The process and effects are almost the same too.

After I wash my face, I would pat it dry. I would scoop a pea-sized amount and would apply it on my face. Unlike the iWhite Korea variant, I need not to wait for a minute before the product turns watery on my skin which signals that it's ready for some peeling. With Onsaemeein Yogurt Peeling Gel, once I put the formula on my skin, I would instantly rub it and there I found some peeled looking skin falling off which, of course, is not skin. It is the product with your dead skin cells being absorbed by the peeling gel. Amazing, huh. Kindly take a look on the photo below so you know how it works. ;)

The photo above is not filtered and my skin did not really achieve a tone fairer but I don't know with my cam lol. However, you can spot the difference on the texture of my skin. The last photo, when compared on the first, looks firmer and brighter. It also feels softer and smoother because the tiny peeled skin also acts as a scrub so there's something to make rough areas disappear. Using almost the full content of one tub makes my pimples marks slightly lighten in shade so this must be a really good product which is highly recommended whatever skin type you have! This also does not cause me pimples or zits even during the first times of usage. With only a pea-sized per application, a tub would definitely lasts for months! In fact, I had mine for 4 months already (two times per week). Whoops!

Anyway, I have been wanting to try another peeling gel so do you have something in mind to recommend? Please let me know! Til my next post! Happy blogging!
