Tony Moly Delight Tony Tint Review

Tony Moly Delight Tony Tint, 8.3 ml
Bought for: Free | SRP: P160-above
From: Althea Philippines

Everyone knows I love using lip tints more frequently than lipsticks. Sure, it's fun choosing over which shade of lippy to sport each day but I find lip tints more comfortable to wear and is more mistake-proof. You can use a red shade in combination of almost any eye shadows or blushes without looking that you blind-chosen a shade.

Tony Moly Delight Tony Tint comes in three available shades: Cherry Pink, Red and Orange Chacha. I don't think the pink and orange suit my yellowish skin so I opted for the perfect red. It's the typical shade of red that I can wear for any occasion without going a little overboard. It's also the red that I can build up depends on how I want it to appear on the lips--whether I want it subtle or bold.

Claims
Finally, a stain that stays put on your lips! This lightweight, super pigmented formula goes on your lips with a fruit scented sheen, and dries quickly for a sheer, matte finish that won’t budge all day. You can easily build on the color by adding layers of this non-drip formula, which moisturizes lips with a nourishing combination of Rosehip, Argan, and Jojoba oil.

The product comes in a plastic packaging with the usual slim doe-foot applicator that easily distributes the product on the lips. You can tell that the tint has a jelly-like consistency, very soft and pretty much anything you can think of jellies hehe. It does not have a water-like consistency that tends to run and fade overtime. It smells like fruits which I really adore. I don't think anyone would find it off-putting unless you abhor fruity scents.

One swipe can give you an instant pop of vibrancy and two layers can give you a patchy (you know what you expect with tints) yet very strong shade of red on the lips. It does not dry out right away so you have the time to blend it evenly. Whether you want a gradient, natural or bolder lips, you can easily sport it with this tint.

True enough, its longevity is above average. It can last about all day with minimal fading when you eat and drink light meals alone but might need some retouch if you go a little overboard. What I don't like about it is the fact that it's too drying, like most tints, so you might want to treat your lips to some hydration before you pack it on. It stings broken capillaries so watch out!

Overall, this is a good product and a good value for money too! This is one of the best tints I have tried in terms of longevity but one of the worst in terms of drying out the skin. I guess you can't just have the best in everything. Not yet. Do let me know if you have tried it already! Until next!
