Belo Essentials SunExpert Face Cover SPF40 and PA+++ Review

Belo Essentials SunExpert Face Cover SPF40 and PA+++
Bought for: Free | Original Price: P329
Bought from: Sampleroom

Testing out Belo Perfecting Shield Tinted Sunscreen and Sun Expert Body Shield before, I know this SunExpert Face Cover will be a love interest of mine too. I was never wary in getting myself this tube because I know, just like most of Belo Essentials product, this will work on my skin equally as well. I have been meaning to get this for the longest time but I was so low on budget that when I figured out Sampleroom is restocking on this, I literally squeaked out of bliss because finally!

I can't really tell you how I am into sunscreens nowadays because even though I am just 20, I know premature aging skips no age. I better take care of my skin now than be sorry afterwards.

Claims and Ingredient List

The container (tube), as you can tell, is travel-friendly. It has a good amount of 50 ml which I think would last me a month or more already. I could not say a little goes a long way (because it is advisable you put a generous amount of sunscreen on your skin all the time) but if you prefer this to be your day moisturizer only, with you applying more SPF-based products on top, I guarantee that it would last you months. Every time I use this, I tend to skip serums or any other moisturizers.

This sunscreen claims to be water resistant and has a whopping SPF 40 making it perfect to use during outdoor activities to keep your skin protected under the sun's harmful rays. The only downside is its scent even though it's said to be fragrance-free. It smells like, I don't know, plastic? It's actually my very first time being bothered with product scents. Anyway, it just goes after a while.

The product has a light consistency, more like a lightweight moisturizer. It so so lightweight and easy to apply without giving your skin some ugly whit cast like other sunscreens do. It also dries to a demi-matte finish so it is perfect even for those with super oily skin. My skin is characterized with large pores and excessive sebum production but I find that this product does not trigger more oiliness (like other sunscreens do). It is just true that it's non-sticky, lightweight, non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested!

It goes well with any base foundations I put on without making it cakey or oily. Also, it did not break me out nor irritate my skin. I just like it this product so much!

I highly recommend this skin care line to everyone who wished to have sunscreens that are effective in protecting the skin, lightweight and can stand hours outdoor without developing tan lines. Did I mention not getting tanned even though I commute on afternoons when the temperature's the hottest and the sun is wildly peeking through without umbrella? Amazing!

Have you tried this? Any thoughts? Happy blogging!
